De plus, la piscine extérieure est payante (80USD/personne/4h) même pour les personnes qui séjournent sur place. C’est inacceptable d’autant que l’on apprend ceci à l’arrivée et non dans la description de l’hôtel. Enfin, la piscine intérieure est accessible mais sur des heures restreintes. Par ailleurs, le personnel est sympathique.

Mondrian Hotel, a jewel in Itaewon. Very friendly staff, nice big indoor pool (also for kids) and nice atmosphere especially in the lobby with music and nice interior. You can walk to lively Itaewon for more restaurants and shops. A few bus lines pass close to the hotel, which make it convenient to for example to Seoul Station and airports ( by changing once into airport railroad). Thank you to all the staff, making our stay rememberable.

Access to the pool is 80.000 Korean won. Even though we were guests. We were not allowed receiving a guest at the Cafe, if not all of us purchased a coffee of tea. Even though one of the guests didn't drink either. Pool staff asked us to leave the pool, as we entered after 15:30, as we were only allowed to attend in one session early afternoon or late afternoon session. Room is the smallest I've ever seen in a 5 star hotel

Major issue booking page doesn’t note that pool is not open on first Tuesday of the month. Only notes after booking. This is disingenuous. Also, I was asked to pay for the pool and noted it was free for my booking and need to wait for them to confirm this.

The elevators were incredibly slow, wouldn’t stop on 2nd floor where concierge and main desk were. Outdoor pool cost $60 to use, and sauna was a premium as well. The hotel was otherwise immaculate and smelled amazing.

Great stylish hotel right in the heart of Itaewon. The location is super convenient considering there’s both a 7/11 and a Starbucks across the street. The rooms were clean. Beds were a little stiff but still comfortable after such a long flight! It made me sad I was only laying over in Seoul and wouldn’t have more time to spend. Highly recommend!

방컨디션은 대체적으로 괜찮았고 무엇보다 전경이 좋아서 좋았습니다만 호텔에 도착하자마자 손을 씻을려고 세면대를 봤는데 제가 이용하기 전 남자숙객이 묵어서 턱수염을 깎았는지 여자분이 앞머리를 잘랐는진 모르겠지만 짧은 머리카락들이 너저분하게 많이 묻어 있었습니다. 그걸 확인하곤 청결엔 그다지 신경을 잘 안쓰시는구나라는 느낌을 받았지만 리셉션에 계신 분들은 대체로 친절하셨고 전경 하나로 감동받았습니다.^^

梨泰院駅から徒歩約10分ですが、土地柄坂道が多くキャリーケースを持っての移動は少し大変でした。 ホテルエントランスにはドアマンが常駐しており出迎えやタクシーの廃車などもスムーズで親切でした。 内装は今流行りのアーティスティックで至る所に目を引くようなインスタレーションが施され写真映えし、とても美しかったです。 ただ、客室は清掃やメンテナンスが行き届いておらず埃や設備不良が多くありました。 1日目は電気が急につかなくなり、同じタイプの客室に移動（リカバリーとしてサウナ無料券とドリンクチケットをいただきました）、2日はトイレの換気扇?から水が漏れ出し、スイートルームに移動 3泊4日の滞在で2階ルームムーブをしたのは初めてでした。 結果スイートルームに泊まれたので良しとしました… ただスタッフは親切な方が多く基本的に英語は通じてたまに日本語が話せる方もいたので、スムーズで親切に対応いただけたのでその点に関してはとても良かったです。

The hotel, staff, and service was great. The room's overall cleanliness was good, except for coffee cups and glasses. Three out of four cups were dirty. They had orange rings and pulps around it. Asked to be replaced and the cups were replaced promptly. Overall good stay, just need to watch out for cups.

Property was clean enough, there are some areas that need improvement. For duration of my 9 day stay, housekeeping didn’t empty the bin in my washroom a few times, My room floor wasn't swept/cleaned, still found bits of tags/paper on the floor. My bathroom had a leaky issue which was fixed rather quickly, I was given a drinks voucher which I appreciated at the time. When it came time to use it, it was pretty restrictive. Very good restaurants options in the restaurant and nearby Itaewon area. Two bus stops within 1-5 mins walk of the hotel. A station is about 15mins walk as well. Concierge/Reception were always quick to help whenever I needed assistance. On the whole, I believe 4 stars is an appropriate rating.

Unfortunately I will not stay here again. Stayed for four nights in March 2023. The area is quite inconvenient without relying on a car or taxis. The shops and restaurants around the area will close around 8PM, leaving you with very few choices in the evening. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the room. The temperature was consistently at 27-29C and the only solution the hotel provided was to ask us to open the windows. While this would suffice if the windows provided enough air circulation, unfortunately this did very little to improve the situation. Even as the outdoors temperature was 5C, the room was still 27-28C. It was so hot that even the fridge would only be able to keep items inside to a lukewarm temperature. The bathroom was also poorly designed and not practical unless you don't mind your roommate(s) seeing you dress/ undress. The shower floor was flat and all the water drained very slowly, leaving you to stand in the previous person's dirty water.

음....5성급 호텔이라기에는 부티크호텔처럼 좁았구요 욕조없는게 충격....화장실따로없고 세면대방안에있고칸막이샤워실과 변기따로있음 수영도 주말,공휴일엔 한번밖에 못가고 사우나,야외수영장은 투숙객이어도 별도요금^^^ 방음도 잘안되서 옆방노래소리 울려서 잠 잘못잤어요 가격대비 별루에요

Modern and nice hotel. The room was rather small, but of nice standard / quality. Bars were nice. The breakfast buffet was very stressful, as there were too few tables, so most days there was a long wait to get a table. The deadline when the breakfast closed, then resulted in a stressful experience, when the planned 1 hour calm breakfast became a stressful experience. Nice quality of the breakfast once we got a table. The hotel should start booking times for breakfast upon check-in, in order to spread out guests so that there is no waiting time. The gym was large and good (also external gym guests, which tends to mean a good size & experience).

The hotel is nice, it seems to be pretty busy and has a good level of things inside, I tried 2 restaurants and cafe and they were all nice, the staff were all very helpful, the hotel rooms are all the same size which can make you feel no need to upgrade rooms. The shower leaks and this is more of a design flaw as I changed rooms midway and had the same profile in both. The hallways had a very distinct smell, they were clean but maybe the cleaning products as it was very unpleasant to smell. For anyone looking to stay here I’d suggest be prepared to take taxi’s frequently unless you’re fine with walking as it’s not exactly close to the metro unless you take the short cut through the back of the apartment blocks, I’ve been to Seoul a few times and am very familiar with that area but not everyone might be. Overall I’d say it’s a nice hotel and I always wanted to try it out, I’m not sure if u would stay again for as long as I did but maybe a weekend.

A modern, clean and attractive hotel with great facilities on site such as pool and large gym, book store, bakery, convenience store, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and with Starbucks and 7-11 across the street. Generally quiet, with the hotel being a good 10 minute walk from the main part of Itaewon. Not particularly close to anywhere else, we mainly relied on Uber to get to Myeongdong, Seoungsu, Insadong etc, all of which were roughly 15 minutes away in the car. Rooms are too warm in winter, had to keep the window open all night. Rooms are small. We are a family of four with a 10 and 6 year old, and we contacted the hotel in advance to check if the room would be sufficient for us, and were told they could not provide an additional bed, but assured us the bed in the room would be enough for our family. Not particularly close to anywhere else, we mainly relied on Uber to get to Myeongdong, Seoungsu, Insadong etc, all of which were roughly 15 minutes away in the car. Rooms are too warm in winter, had to keep the window open all night. Rooms are small. Currently big big construction. Rooms very lightly soundproofed towards inside and outside. All amenities are super hard to access as either extra charge or extra equipment you need to pay for is needed. Bed is nice, design is nie. Room cleaning was perfect. Sleep due zo sound not so much

I stayed at this hotel on my first ever visit to Korea and Seoul. The property has a terrific looking lobby and I am a huge fan of the design. However, I came to realize that this is more of a party hotel with a pool, poolside bar and other such amenities for Seoul dwellers that come here on staycations. There is also some weird lower floor with stores and such that looks like a mall or something? And I have no idea if it is even supposed to be part of the hotel. At any rate, this might not be the ideal property if you're here as a tourist exploring Seoul since it's a bit far from the subway stations and there's not much touristy in the area & the rooms are also quite small and for some reason the shower & bathroom door are semi-transparent - but on the whole, this is a solid 4/5 place to stay. The room was clean and in a very good condition. The breakfast buffet isn't the biggest but decent and the restaurant is nice looking.

Mondrian is an excellent hotel. My only complaint - but a significant one - is that it is hot everywhere - including in rooms. A/C cools only to about 25C/77F. I was sweaty and sticky the entire time I was there. I probably will not stay there again.

Check-in was a bit complicated. Arrived shortly after 3 pm and was given a time to return after 4 pm due to a large number of guests checking in. Returned at 4 pm and was told the check-in system was down. Unable to complete check-in until after 5 pm. The concierge gave us 2 free outdoor pool passes (60,000 won value) and allowed us to check out at 1 pm instead of 11 am as compensation. I also had a dog with me and the overnight fee is 110,000 won. They do bring a dog bed, water/food bowl, and a pee pad up to the room for the dog. The room was nice and clean, although the refrigerator was not very cold. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon very much. The hotel is so very nice with beautiful appointed rooms and lovely restaurants and bars.The staff were amazing, they attended to all of our needs and inquiries. Erin was wonderful, she checked us in earlier after our arrival from Italy, arranged to store our luggage in storage until we returned back to the hotel from our Busan stay and looked after us in our last three days in Seoul, she was a gem. Kenny help us navigate and made suggestions for our visits in Seoul and Symphony was so very kind to treat us to some wine and make us feel very special, we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time, thank you to all.

After checking in and trying to relax, I experienced the absurd situation of someone unlocking the door and entering the room. Despite this, Mondrian Hotel Korea’s response was to offer simple items like wine or cookies to appease the frustration. I strongly recommend securing the safety lock when staying at this hotel.

For a five star hotel, it feels like the service requires a significant upgrade. To begin with, there is a 15 GBP charge to access the sauna. Breakfast is also quite messy and consistently crowded. Furthermore, the lifts take an eternity to arrive, and quite often we found ourselves having to push open the gigantic front doors ourselves to enter or exit. Regarding our room, the shower water kept flowing out onto the floor. We also ran out of shower gel and had to go out to find staff to ask for more. Finally, the television did not work properly and was not suitable for non Korean speakers. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

Great stylish hotel right in the heart of Itaewon. The location is super convenient considering there’s both a 7/11 and a Starbucks across the street. The rooms were clean. Beds were a little stiff but still comfortable after such a long flight! It made me sad I was only laying over in Seoul and wouldn’t have more time to spend. Highly recommend!

Mondrian Hotel, a jewel in Itaewon. Very friendly staff, nice big indoor pool (also for kids) and nice atmosphere especially in the lobby with music and nice interior. You can walk to lively Itaewon for more restaurants and shops. A few bus lines pass close to the hotel, which make it convenient to for example to Seoul Station and airports ( by changing once into airport railroad). Thank you to all the staff, making our stay rememberable.

You can't use the outdoor pool you need to pay like 50000 won if you want to use it. I complained about it and they get me 2 passes for my daughter and I to use them. I only booked that hotel for the outdoors pool to be honest. Very far from the metro station in Itaewon. *Walked like easy 4 or 5 blocks to get to the Hotel. The employees were the best, very attentive, willing to help, English speakers.

Bedside socket wasnt working, they insist it was, at least they provided me their chargers insisting it was my charger that wasnt compatible. We enjoyed every moment at the Mondrian. We extended our stay for an extra night. The indoor and outdoor pool was spectacular. Cleo is an extraordinary restaurant. Every meal was delicious. We can’t wait to return.

Great breakfast buffet with a range of western and local choices. The gym in the basement is pretty good and comprehensive so better than many. Our room faced the back and despite being on a high floor did not have much of a view. Rooms facing the front have a very good view, as we saw when one was being cleaned.

I stayed at the Mondrian because I was familiar with the hotel and the area. The buffet breakfast was great with a mix of eastern and western foods. In contrast, the wine and cocktails were quite expensive so I didn’t drink at the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Seoul (maybe the best) is in the lobby. If you have to weather a snow storm, you have all the facilities you need in the building. Good location as well.

Gym good although only allowed to use it once per day. . Limited dining options in the hotel. Feel is if a lovely boutique hotel in common spaces with fairly loud music and nice art work. Modern and nice hotel. The room was rather small, but of nice standard / quality. Bars were nice. The breakfast buffet was very stressful, as there were too few tables, so most days there was a long wait to get a table. The deadline when the breakfast closed, then resulted in a stressful experience, when the planned 1 hour calm breakfast became a stressful experience. Nice quality of the breakfast once we got a table. The hotel should start booking times for breakfast upon check-in, in order to spread out guests so that there is no waiting time. The gym was large and good (also external gym guests, which tends to mean a good size & experience).

Excellent property, facilities and location were perfect for our trip. Close to Hannam, Yongsan and Itaewon main area. Breakfast is good in the hotel restaurant Cleo, great selection of options. Privilege Bar is great, lovely cocktails and welcoming staff with a cool vibe. Room had a good layout and all the facilities you would expect, even a water machine in the room. Only drawback was that our housekeeping lady had a terrible cold and my partner caught it. The WiFi if different in your room as it is to the communal areas so logging onto different networks is a little annoying. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely return

The room was lovely and the staff were all super helpful. My one issue was that the amenities for the hotel were not really available for guests or needed additional fees. This included the gym, the spa and the outdoor pool.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and has a fun, vibrant atmosphere. The cocktail lounge is elegant and a great place to relax, and the food at Cleo was excellent—the team were incredibly attentive to my allergies, which we really appreciated. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic, always friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. We were also touched to receive a thoughtful welcome gift to celebrate our special occasion, which made our stay even more memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend it.
