Professor Rousseau's Adventure Oasis

Overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay with our party of 5 having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It had most all of the amenities we desired and appliances worked well. A few criticisms: 1) The canal that leads to Lake Rousseau has not been maintained. It was not easy to get our boat to the dock and the motor constantly got gunked up with junk from the canal. Also, the canal that leads to the channel does not have stumps marked and we damaged our skeg on a stump. 3) The dock is not immediately out behind the property and closer to the adjacent apartments. 4) The home’s water has a smell and taste (well water) that is not good.

We stayed here to visit family after a trip to Universal/Disney. The host gave us all the information needed prior to arrival and made checking in a breeze. Since we were traveling with small children we asked to be checked in ASAP and although they had to make sure the property was properly cleaned, they let us know when it was ready for us. Also, we did not bring any laundry detergent with us, but when I asked the host if they had any on the property, they had someone deliver some without us asking them to do so. 100% would book again!

Stayed here with brother's family to be close to Mom's for Thanksgiving. Close. Comfy. Clean. Everything we needed and a nice location.

This is by far one of the best stays we have had. We will be back for sure. I'd like to hear more about your manatee bay location for a future stay.

We have stayed at tons of different VRBO and other rentals. This house was one of the best. We are locals and was having problems with our own house, so we had to find something for what we thought was a few days. The host helped accommodate our needs on very very short notice. She was absolutely great. And on top of that when we first walked in the house it smelled great. And through out our whole stay the house continued to smell amazing. Our kids had so much fun fishing in the back yard and it kept them busy for hours. We will for sure be back
