We loved this place! It served well for our purpose which was a place to sleep :). It was a little noisy due to construction right outside of our window but we’re from NYC so it didn’t bother us. We’re also used to walking everywhere so 20 mins to the White House and other attractions f lt just about right - and it’s a nice walk, no isolated streets. The staff is beyond lovely, and the hotel has a very hip vibe - did I mention 2 happy hours a night? This place was perfect for us!

From one o'clock in the morning until 7 a.m. there was no light, the air conditioner didn't work, it was very hot, we didn't get the breakfast for which we paid. Not very polite staff, I don't recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay there, we liked the wood floor design(much better than carpet), and the whole room looked clean and nice. The only little headache thing is that hotel does not provide free self-parking spots, only valet parking option which is understandalbe, because it's in downtown area. However, it's so hard to find a paid 24 hours parking grages around the hotel either, so we have to drive around couple times and finally found one acroess the street, so parking is definately a little issue, other than that, everything else is great!

We were a family of six people who stayed at the hotel for two nights. We all came back with bedbugs bites. I contacted the hotel afterwards and they promised to get back to me, they never did. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel. Definitely not what you expect from a four star hotel!

The house keeping left our room unlocked for hours, we came back at night and found that our door was open.. felt extremely unsafe after that esp because we have a baby. The house keeping also really sucked, the room was extremely dirty. They did not change sheets or vacuum even after we requested multiple times. These concerns were addressed to Luis, the manager at the time, he offered free breakfast and $20 snack voucher. It did not seem like it was enough as we felt extremely unsafe during our trip.

The hotel is nice and in a good location, although we went during the winter holiday Dec 28 to Jan 1, and lots of the restaurants and shops in the area were closed. The front desk staff were nice and accommodating but the housekeeping staff was terrible. They left dirty cups and garbage in the room, the beds were always as if a children made them, and in general the housekeeping service was really poor. The towels in the rooms felt line sand paper and were as thick as a tissue. The bar and lounge area was nice. The hotel is nice and comfortable overall, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

The hotel is a very nice hotel. There is a bar/restaurant which was great since we arrived pretty late and wanted to get something to eat. Our room was quiet and it was clean. The hotel doesn't clean your room every day, just every other day. On most days, our room was cleaned very well but there were a couple of days when the tea, small water bottles they provide wasn't replenished. You couldn't have asked for a better location. It was near two different metro stops so getting around the city was VERY EASY. There were also plenty of options for food near by. On Sundays, Dupont Circle which is only a few blocks away has a farmer's market that was fun to check out.

It was clean in general but areas like light switches, hair dryer, door handles and the such were stained and not cleaned before new guest arrives. Parking is $60 plus tax and gratuity as its valet only. Food is very basic but ok. Breakfast is $20 plus tax and gratuity for pastries and eggs. Doesn’t include coffee or drinks. Service was on point. Location was great.

The biggest yet funniest issue was how ridiculously slow and old the tv was. The length of time if took for it to actually load was so long I kept taking mini naps in between. Lol even netflix wouldn't show previews. Also, when i checked in and out the staff failed to tell me my cost or give me a receipt, I had to ask for both. Despite those concerns, they were nice enough to put a sweet treat in my room for my birthday and the room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Bottomline I would not recommend it for treating yourself for any special occasion but definitely a very nice quality business stay or place for tourist.

Great hotel in a good location. We were a family of 4 (2 adults 2 teen kids). We got 2 adjoining rooms and so glad we did because the rooms are on the smaller side. Very modern and clean. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. When we first checked in the rooms were not adjoining as requested. They immediately took care of this and moved our luggage while we were out enjoying DC. All the staff here has been great. Very convenient location and we love that there's a Wawa across the street. This helped with late night snacks for the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Nice to have easy access to both the blue and red lines. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was not large, but was very well appointed. The temperature controls in the room were phenomenal.

This hotel was great. It was really clean, modern and centrally located. Lots of options for food all around the hotel. There's a Wawa right across the street that's open 24 hours. The metro stop is also just a short walk. My only complaint is the view from our window was the conference room from the office across the way. Overall, it's a great hotel and I'd stay here again.

The stay was nice but upon arrival the receptionist completely ignored us for a good 2 minutes so it was just silent while he typed on his computer.. even if he was busy he could’ve let us know but it was silent. During our stay the toilet also was making loud sounds that woke us up in the middle of the night. We had to flush it multiple times for it to stop. The bar was lovely and the bar tenders were extremely kind as well. Overall a good stay but some issues.

As a single older woman traveling alone I expect a certain lack of attention, slower service and a tendency to have my request or concerns ignored or lower in proiority. This hotel certainly exceeded all other properties I have stayed at while traveling on this expectation. From the bartender (with man bun) to front desk staff I was ignored or given short inconsequential answers. The room was constantly cold and the thermostat could not be turned above 74 F, no closet, drawers or rack to set luggage on to unpack, 2 inch space at bottom of entrace door that allowed in every noise from hallway, paper thin wall so all night the TV noise from both room kept me awake and the people above me moving furniture around all night was exhausting. I left a day early so I could check into another hotel and get some rest. The Valet parking was excellent, there are many dining options close by, it is about a 2 mile round trip walk to National Mall. Froggy Bottoms reataurant and bar is about 4 blocks away has great food and very attentive and courteous staff. For some reason the bartender took cash payment for the one drink I manage to receive but never I never a check or change back. Really a depressing and sad situation. Think I will stick to the Hyatt properties instead of Marriott.

The staff did everything possible to make our stay seem less. We could not ask for a better group of people fro the front desk to the lounge and housekeeping. Definitely recommend it
The staff did everything possible to make our stay seem less. We could not ask for a better group of people fro the front desk to the lounge and housekeeping. Definitely recommend it

Enjoyed my stay for the most part, except for it being hot in my room !!! Me and husband complained about this 3 times and the maintenance man insisted that it worked, it was 74 in the room, we turned it down to 62, it never cooled down! We were offered a fan as the other rooms were sold out. The maintenance man was very rude! Not sure if I will be back, it was a nice hotel though.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at the AC Marriott and it exceeded our expectations. The concierge and valet were very friendly and welcoming. Valet was super convenient and never a long wait for our vehicle; he even helped with loading and unloading our luggage! The hotel has lots of restaurants and shopping close by—all walkable. Our room was very clean and orderly. I’d highly recommend staying at this hotel!

I normally don’t leave reviews unless I’ve had a bad experience, but the service and experience really was awesome. The staff was friendly, they allowed me an early check-in at no passion cost as I hadn’t slept the night before and arrived in DC early. Small things like that really made my experience great. The atmosphere is sophisticated, but fuss-free. They also offer a happy hour in the lobby at the bar that I didn’t take advantage of but it seemed lovely. Located right across from a 24 hours WaWa and Starbucks right around the corner (3 mins walking). For this to be my first time in DC, I definitely know where I’ll be staying next time I visit. Thanks for a great experience!

We loved this place! It served well for our purpose which was a place to sleep :). It was a little noisy due to construction right outside of our window but we’re from NYC so it didn’t bother us. We’re also used to walking everywhere so 20 mins to the White House and other attractions f lt just about right - and it’s a nice walk, no isolated streets. The staff is beyond lovely, and the hotel has a very hip vibe - did I mention 2 happy hours a night? This place was perfect for us!

Lovely stay in a fabulous location, easy to get many places due to close metro stations and bus lines. Love the Wawa across the street as well asl local coffee shop to indulge next door. Hotel room itself is very modern with all the comforts you could desire including numerous places to recharge your electronics. Great modern fridge and cold water awaiting you at check in. Best of all were the great staff at reception, always courteous. Only recommendation is that mirrors be placed in the corners by the elevators so when you get off to go down the corridor you aren't surprised by other guests.

This hotel was beautiful and was in a perfect location. There is a Wawa right across the street from the hotel, convenient for snacks and drinks or meals. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a fridge in the room but not a microwave . I paid for breakfast ahead of time which was $20 per person per day. The buffet did not have any hot food on it . A few cold cut meats and cheeses, croissant, bagels. You could order from about four or five hot things on the menu but the menu items were not standard breakfast items. French toast was 14$ additional to the $20. Breakfast meat was $4 additional to the $20. We decided to ask for a refund for the breakfast and the staff was very accommodating and gave us a refund ( just go to Wawa is my suggestion ;) ) I'm not complaining about this just staying the facts so someone else can make an informed decision. I'm sure some people do like the buffet it just wasnt for us. The vibe in the evening in the lobby is very nice and relaxing. Overall we would stay here again and

Do not waste your time and money on the lobby bar. You will experience very helpful and friendly service at the front desk then after your check in, if you want a drink before you go out; I wish you a good luck because the lobby bar staff has an attitude and unprofessional.

Pros: Great central location, clean, comfortable beds, great shower/bathroom, great bar with Happy Hour, awesome vibe. Cons: Only negative was checking out - the line was long and there was only 1 person at the desk who was problem solving a billing issue with a client. I needed to check my overnight bag for the day otherwise I would have left the key.

Hotel was very nice. Comfortable beds, basic toiletries but towels were scratchy and partially stained. It was clean in general but areas like light switches, hair dryer, door handles and the such were stained and not cleaned before new guest arrives. Parking is $60 plus tax and gratuity as its valet only. Food is very basic but ok. Breakfast is $20 plus tax and gratuity for pastries and eggs. Doesn’t include coffee or drinks. Service was on point. Location was great.
