The best part, this place is steps from the beach and the renown Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. The property itself was pretty good but the bathroom was outdated and the pools were dirty with algae floating on top. The staff is great and is easy to communicate with, always ready to help. I would say the worst part was the included “breakfast” … I really wouldn’t call it a breakfast. All there was was a couple options of cereal, a couple options of toast or bagels, boiled eggs and bananas. All in all - you get what you pay for.

They should offer a free parking

This is an older property that is one a number managed by this company. The description lists 5 pools, complementary breakfast, etc. In fact, check-in was at a different location, there was certainly no pool on-site - who knows where they are, and the breakfast was at a third location. After stay at this place had no desire to get a cup of coffee and muffin in cellophane. Shower was scary, room over deodorized, keep your shoes on.

Although the place was ok for the money and it was clean, the front desk lady was extremally rude. Other people had experienced the same thing. Also, expect to be charge an extra $ 39.00 for parking.

Clean every 3 days, I have to claim silverware and toilet paper as well as clean towels . The courtesy at the front desk was also poor, they are just in the business of getting as much of your money as they can, $19.26 parking fees per day extra charge at the hotel

Was not expecting a hidden daily resort fee which was not, and still is not informed anywhere else.

Wouldn’t stay here again. They promised a lot of things in the description/amenities but did not deliver. Everything had to have an extra step to get. Towels, beach towels, pots and pans. Etc. The pictures online were not what we got. At all. We had to change 3 rooms to get what we booked. We rented a room with 2 queen bed and a King bed, and got 2 queen beds and a pull out couch that was 50+years old. It definitely has a run down motel feel. Seems like they tried to update but the contractors were messy with painting and mud for the walls. The kitchen supplies they supplied was enough for 2 people. We were a family of 5. There was no boiling pot included and they did not have one when we asked. So you had a kitchen to “cook” in but no supplies to actually be able to cook except a frying pan to cook 1 egg at a time. So we had to spend more money going out to eat. Breakfast was advertised at 8am-10am on website. It actually was open till 9am. And multiple times we were not let in to get breakfast because they ran out of food. The location was good so we thought. Till the 3rd room that was OK and decided to stay in. But it was across a very busy street. When I looked up location of where we were supposed to stay it was closer to the beach and not crossing a street. All 5 pools were not open. And a couple of them were very dirty. We spent almost 2K for a week and it definitely was NOT worth it. There was an old eviction notice on our door. The staff did not like their jobs.

Photos of the property online appear to have been taken from a drone leading to believe it was an apartment unit located in a high rise building, and is not. The unit was very clean but housekeeping only showed one time my entire stay(5 days) with a new set of towels, never clean the unit, change the garbage or made our bed. Front desk never answered the phone, but they were professional and friendly when checking-in. Pool needs maintenance, pool water was somewhat dark, and pools are small. Location is optimal!

The rain type shower head in the middle of the ceiling had paint above it all peeling so I didn’t want to use shower. Faucets loose feel like they are going to fall off, hot water was almost non existent. Pocket door in the bathroom was newly put in so bad that you could NOT close the bathroom door. Hire a new carpenter for haven sakes Noise every night in the court yard areas that are right next to your bedroom window, literally. Multiple people kept coming up to my room door trying to open it at all hours, this made me feel very unsafe. The only positive was closeness to the beach. In a word, nightmare.

NASTY !! first our room didn’t have hot water .. then ROACHES EVERYWHERE the floor , countertops, coming from behind the refrigerator and all over the bathroom it was so trifling!! they have a no refund policy so me and my boyfriend was just moved from room to room until 3 IN THE MORNING, second room our drains didn’t work and yup you guessed it MORE ROACHES ! this time on the headboard coming from the couch like it was disgusting ! would NEVER stay here or let anyone i know stay here !

1. Finding the office was hard 2. This hotel was not clean outside 3. The room was decent 4. the hotel was close to the beach that was a plus 5. Tile was broken in the room

Liked that it was close to the beach and restaurants but the staffs were unkind and the floor in the room was dirty and also the bathroom wasnt cleaned properly.

Horrible place. Dirty and lots of bugs. The floor was so filthy it was disgusting. It was obviously not cleaned. The additional charges are ridiculous. Adds up to more than the room rate *** I added an extra night to my reservation because my daughter was sick and needed to sleep. The hotel charged me a late check out fee and early check in fee which made no sense since I added another full day/night to the reservation and paid in full. When I tried to talk to them about this they were soooo RUDE and made me pay and it was more than the actual room reservation. Never in my life has that ever happened. I highly recommend you find another place. Literally any other place would be better.

Beware- we found bedbugs in the bed! I went to check on my daughter and found one on her pillow. An additional one was found when I pulled the sheets back.It’s a cheap stay near the beach but you get what you pay for. And over all the unit was not very clean. All they offered was a different unit so we had to drag our luggage down the street and around the corner. It was late and I had children so I did not want

The room was big, but it was bare bones. Hotels.com said it was called The Palms, but there was no sign saying so. The office paperwork said they handled 9 properties but The Palms was not listed. It was difficult to find our room from the office.

Very small shower , breakfast was only for one hour in another building. Very minimal on amenities. WiFi spotty.

Staff was very nice. Room is old and outdated. Window air conditioning was so loud I could not sleep. Definitely needs a revamp.

I expressed my need for my disability. I was told I couldn’t get a refund. I was stuck with the place. I couldn’t even open the bathroom door. Poor construction no soap nor shampoo holder in shower truly a disaster I have plenty of pictures paint peeling from the walls, dirty walls in windows, AC unit and wall full of mildew bathroom door couldn’t shut completely, but once barely shot couldn’t open again I got stuck and the list goes on. Should not even be in service.

The room is very basic though very expensive (also very expensive parking), however the property was clean. Bathroom very very small. What I liked most is that the maintenance team comes in less than 5 minutes when I reported that the fridge had water leakage and another time when the AC was not working. Reception ladies need to be more friendly. Walking distance to the beach is perfect!

The best thing is the location. 1 min walk from the beach. The rest could use a lot of love and maintenance. The sheets were clean but the rest of the room wasn't. My 3 y/o spilled a little water on the floor and by cleaning up, I was cleaning the floor! The square foot i cleaned left the cloth black and dirty. There was this slippery feeling and I understood why. Shower has no pressure and the tiles are broken and there's mold on the baseboards. There's absolutely no kitchen tools, cookware and dishes. You have to ask for everything. One bed mattress was collapsed and caving in making it impossible for adults to sleep in. Plus the fees were higher than the price of the room itself. Thr staff was very nice. It's part of a complete conglomerate of hotels. The whole thing needs renovations.

Rooms have the same number. People continuously try to go into rooms that are not theirs, unknowingly. Sheets and towels were clean but the rest of the place falling apart. Bathroom and shower walls were dark but you could still see how dirty they were. Front desk is extremely slow. Line goes out the door. “Breakfast” is one hour for all buildings at the same spot.

The room was clean no bed bug no bugs at all that was great the Front desk lady was so rude sooo rude she disrespected me soo badly I don’t even know how they can hire someone so rude especially at front !

The management needs to improve the check in process. Took an hour. Reservations on 8-11 pieces of paper. Then we were awoke at 4 by a couple next to us which were removed by the police at 6am. No rest for the weary. When I asked for a credit or partial refund upon check out mwy request was met with a blank, apathetic stare...a simple "We are sorry for the disturbance", would have helped. Great location, lots of potential...I probably wouldnt return.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Starting from the hotel staff to the room it was absolutely horrible and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone! Hotel staff are extremely rude for no reason. The room I booked online was not the room they gave me plus it smelled disgusting and was very filthy with bugs inside. Dirty sheets and towels. Appliances not working and no water coming from the shower head. Very dirty place with even dirtier staff. I checked out early because I couldn’t stand staying there. Don’t waste your time or money at this filthy place

Great location! The boardwalk was right there, less than a minute walk away. And the beach was great - good swimming, beach volleyball, lots of shops and restaurants and live music. The property was pretty basic but felt safe and comfortable and was everything we needed. If we were to go back to the area, I would definitely stay there again.

The only good thing, property location. The bed stinks as well as the restroom. During complementary breakfast on the weekend, nowhere to sit. Just few tables and chairs.

Our room next to the boardwalk and beach was good for location and as far as breakfast,well the lady was rude and was not worried about anything because she was on the phone most of the time,just to many fees,and I hope I get my security deposit back,some haven't.

My kids typically love hotel continental breakfast but the options were limited and the staff was aggressive/hostile about checking key cards. The didn't want to go back after the first day. The office was 2-blocks away from our room and there was no in-room phone to call the office. We didn't get any service for our room for the first 3 days and when I talked to the office, they wanted me to track down the maid for them. The internet signal was too weak for the in-room TVs and I had use my phone as a hotspot in order to watch anything on the TV. The front door was barely functional. We had to slam it shut or it wouldn't latch. A beachfront hotel with laminate wood floors should provide a broom in every room.

We booked the hotel when we reached there was an issue finally they gave different room but no hot water, especially breakfast area have worst maintenance and they gave 1 hr time for mixed hotels too crowd and big line I never experienced such these hotels

Forced to eat breakfast outside under the rain with a boiled old egg and stale bread for breakfast! Room ok!

Didn’t get the room we reserved, staff got mad and insisted the room they stuck us in was better than our room we paid for. Room didn’t have the amount of beds we needed, asked for extra blanket since we now had our daughter sleeping on couch, never received, asked again told one would be brought over, never received. Had smaller fridge, smaller stove. Was unable to buy groceries and cook like we planned because there was no room. Asked for kitchen box,it only included two of everything, we had family of 4. Breakfast was the bare minimum, don’t advertise free breakfast if all you have is cereal and toast. Whole staff seemed to have a sour attitude. Key card quit working two days in, staff got mad that I wanted a new key card.
