I really only stay at Villa Dagmar when in Stockholm. The hotel itself is fabulous from greet to goodbye - the breakfast is wonderful, facilities in the hotel impeccable, and surrounding area is beautiful. Five stars each and every time I’ve stayed there.

Hotellet är toppen och jättefint. Det som drar ner betyget är upplevelsen i Spaavdelningen där vi bokat bastudelen för oss själva under 45 min. När vi kom in var det 1 cm vatten över hela golvet, soffan var rejält täckt med kaksmulor samt även golvet. Därtill så fanns det bara varmvatten i duschen då temperaturvredet var trasigt. Således hade ingen städat innan vår tid vilken man kan förvänta sig på ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. Därtill var en av två bastudelar avstängd, detta fick vi dock info om i receptionen. Great long weekend stay in a central location with great restaurants and bars in a stunning city. Definitely recommend a visit and stay at Villa Dagmar. Will definitely be back. Garden Terrace is lovely and does have music on until late so may disturb those early to bed but great atmosphere and buzz for most, and was a great spot to relax and have a drink or dinner.

Overall a good experience, but considering its reputation I was somewhat surprised to see coffee stains on the carpet, the lightbulb left on the bathroom sink and not removed even after 1 day of housekeeping, no price list for the mini bar, and the ability to hear noise from outside from 5am. Food is good, and service is friendly but not necessarily efficient. The cocktail came way after the food, or waiting 40 min for a club sandwich seemed less than ideal.

Great customer service and they moved me to a new room as soon as possible when I had issues. Though, cleaning of the rooms especially of the bathrooms, could be improved. There was a bit of dirt when checking into a new room. Otherwise, excellent property and customer service, and I would stay there again.

Located in the heart of Östermalm and close to Saluhallen. Unfortunately the Saluhallen was closed Sunday and we missed it. Easy walk to Central Stockholm. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel staff welcoming and both hotel and room were very clean.

Loved everything. The breakfast is a must. The staff are sweet. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooms are very nice. The one issue is the music in the courtyard restaurant and bar, which gets louder on Friday and Saturday night. The windows block the noise very well, so on weeknights it wasn't an issue. But Friday and Saturday they turned it up further and it interfered with our sleep. It is a pity that a 5 star hotel prioritizes the weekend fun for locals over paying travelers trying to get some sleep while traveling.

Our standard room was tiny, I do wish we had a bit more space. However, the room was well designed, the breakfast excellent, the location perfect and, most importantly, the staff most accommodating and friendly. We loved the sauna too.

Perfect location near everything. This is a charming boutique hotel. Loved our breakfast and service. Room was beautiful and modern with a super comfortable bed. My only issue was lack of air circulation in the room we stayed with faces the indoor courtyard. Otherwise, fantastic!

A beautiful hotel, but unfortunately we encountered several issues during our stay. We spent three nights at Villa Dagmar, and only on the last evening did we finally receive a key card that worked for our room. For a couple of days, we had to go more than 10 times to ask someone to open our door or inquire when the problem would be fixed. On the very first evening, we asked if we could switch to a room with a functioning key before unpacking our luggage. We were told that we couldn’t switch, as the key issue affected almost all rooms. However, the next staff member on duty accidentally mentioned that the problem only existed in two room (one of was ours) A kind gesture, for which we are grateful, was that the hotel compensated the inconvenience with complimentary breakfast and a meal. However, at checkout, we were still charged for the breakfast and had to explain the situation all over again. The hotel itself was quiet, small, and overall seemed very nice and pleasant and we probably just had bad luck. But we simply would have hoped for the issue to be handled immediately, rather than having to repeatedly ask for help. It’s also unfortunate that taxis cannot drive up to the front of the hotel (the road is closed to vehicles). On the positive side, I would praise the hotel restaurant: the food was good, the breakfast was excellent, and it was a great place to go for drinks.

We had a nightmare with the phone system, over and over. Due to the road construction we couldn’t find address- they do not answer the phone I called 9 times including standing in the lobby showing the girl . the bellman called in sick, we had to carry in 8 bags from a block and a half away. I used to sell big phone switches and do not understand what the problem was. I called twice around 9 at nite and got through. They couldn’t have been nicer and upgraded us to a suite, very nice of them. I tried calling when we got lost, again ,no phone answer. U get prompts to English, they’d hit reception which rings until u gut disconnected.very very upsetting. Other than the phone mess we would maybe stay again although Grand Hotel has been our favorite for 40 years.

It’s is a very nice hotel. We very much enjoyed the nice and comfortable rooms. The entrance is very cute. Very good location to explore Stockholm. Unfortunately the customer service is not at the level it should be for this hotel level. Hotel reservations that were paid were not identified p my after several checks and this in the middle of the night. but no real excuse or service was offered. staff needs to improve in service quality

Vi valgte Villa Dagmar fordi det ligger rigtig godt og centralt i Stockholm. Adkomstvejen til hotellet med bil er besværlig og næsten ufremkommelig. De tilbyder valet parking til kr. 1.050 pr. døgn som virker over prissat. De kunne ikke rigtig anbefale parkeringssteder i nærheden hvilket ikke gav den bedste start på et 3 dages ophold. Værelserne var gode men meget små og sengen var skrækkelig. Den var alt for blød og det forsøgte hotellet at lave om på ved at lægge en træplade under topmadressen som gjorde den så hård som sten, så det var heller ikke en mulighed. Der var flere som havde samme udfordring for den ene morgen stod der 4 træplader udenfor dørene bare på 1. sal hvor vi boede. Baren var god og maden på hotellet var også rigtig god. Betjeningen var sød og venlig men var meget længe om, at henvende sig for at spørge om vi manglede noget. Et standard dobbeltværelse til DKK 2.500 ligger i den meget høje ende når man tager value for money i betragtning. Jeg vil nok søge andre steder næste gang turen går til Stockholm. Men stor ros til personalet som var super søde og venlige.

The hotel directly connects to a lovely market which was, a delight to have a drink and meal at. It was nice to have another option aside from their restaurant. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms were quiet. It is located close to quite a number of things. Stockholm is a very walkable city. The neighbourhood was very safe. We did find it a challenge that our drivers could not drive up to the main entrance and therefore had to connect with them a block away with our luggage. We're not sure if this was a temporary situation or permanent.

Tyvärr drar frukostupplevelsen ner helhetsintrycket. Väldigt mycket frukostgäster, tydligen framförallt externa gäster. I och med detta lång väntetid för bordsplacering. Lång väntan på beställda frukosträtter. När de väl kommer så kommer bra tre av fyra rätter. En var slut vilket inte meddelades förrän rätterna serverades. Vid tidigare besök har frukosten varit en höjdpunkt men tyvärr inte denna gången.

Bra läge, fin rum, skön säng och trevlig ”spa” som är värt att boka. Frukost serveras i ”gården” och kan bli högljud. Service var inte på tårna vid vår besök och det var flera missar som gjordes, fel mat, glömda beställningar, spilld vätska osv.

Villa Dagmar was a phenomenally beautiful and stylish hotel in a premier Stockholm neighborhood, next to and connected via stairway to beautiful Oestermalm food hall. It came with first class staff, classy décor, extremely comfortable rooms including Lavazza espresso machine, and countless amenities. The morning breakfast buffet was second to none, offering a combination of self serve items and a la carte selections served in very nice Villeroy-Boch china.
