It is a clean and updated hotel. It has nice dining options and the gym was great! It even has bidets. The only thing that was bothersome was the bathroom fan was loud and didn’t turn off otherwise I recommend!

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The lobby was beautiful, and the receptionist who helped us at check in was very friendly and accommodating despite us arriving late in the evening. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom even had a Toto toilet with heated seat and bidet functions! Very pleased with this property.

Great hotel in a very good location. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The neighborhood has a lot of food (restaurant/takeout) options. Mostly Asian cuisine within walking distant of the hotel, there’s a variety of food restaurant about 5-10 min drive from the hotel. The hotel has a decent pool, firepit (but that’s for corp business usage) self laundry as well. We loved eating in the lobby and just enjoying family time. The lobby is big and spacious. They have a coffee bar serves (takeout option) breakfast in the morning. A little nook area in the lobby to enjoy your food/coffee and watch TV. Or play cards with family. The breakfast food was delish! I only wish they would stay open later for coffee purchases. They usually close by 7pm. The highway is right around the corner. Overall great central location. And we explored LA area and everything was within 30-40 min drive from the hotel. Our family will definitely be back!

Our disabled son had a VERY bad night and was terribly sick, but housekeeping ran to help us (we needed new sheets 😰) and they were so nice and helpful—thank you so much Marta and Hailey.

Convenient for dining lots of stores around walkable that’s what we like. Family visiting L.A for the first time from Canada but not the first time staying at courtyards we were staying for eight nights. We expected courtyard hotel will have laundry machine in the property. We had to do laundry at my friend’s apartment, so inconvenience. We run out shampoo and body wash. We told the lady cleaner to refill but we still didn’t get anything. the room wasn’t clean under the table was so dusty.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The air conditioning didn’t work for two nights, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. After the first night, I reported the issue to the front desk and was told someone would fix it during the day—but when we returned the second night, it still wasn’t working. On top of that, the shower pressure was very weak, making it difficult to even take a proper shower. Overall, the lack of responsiveness and poor maintenance made for a frustrating stay. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Sliding bathroom door has huge gaps exposing toilet to room. offers no privacy or lock from other people in room. This is a huge oversight in the design of the room. Bedside lights do not light up the nightstand beneath them. No safe in room. Ice machine hard to find, not centered on the floor. Room is decent for price, but the bathroom door is a deal breaker. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Great Chinese food everywhere outside of course

Overall the stay was good. The only thing is the noise from the street traffic, although we stay on the 5th floor, we still hear cars zooming down Atlantic Avenue. In addition, the walls between room weren’t able to block the noise from next door, you can hear people talking, coughing, TV sounds.

During check-in, the AC wasn’t working in the entire lobby, and I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes in the heat. After finally checking in and getting my key card, I went all the way to the 5th floor, to the last room at the end of the hallway—still no AC. I tried the key multiple times, but it wouldn’t open the door. So, I had to go all the way back to the lobby, exhausted and carrying all my belongings, to get another key. The same thing happened to my friend when he tried to check in.

The Staff was Amazing, professional, very informative, very welcoming, very accommodating, overall customer service as we say "Chef's Kiss". My hotel room was very clean, the view from my hotel room was absolutely beautiful. If I'm ever in LA, I will definitely book my hotel stay at this location. Horrible. We prepaid reservations, arrived after a 500 mile road trip, in order to host family and friends for my mother in-law's funeral service to find that our room had been given away; then shunted us to downtown Los Angeles where inebriated patrons who could not stand unassisted filled the hallways and elevators. We never received so much as a phone call, email, or attempt to notify us in advance. The management at Courtyard Monterey Park has shown themselves to be lacking in all regards

The hotel was clean and the area was safe. The staff was also nice and helpful. Parking underground is less expensive than the downtown hotels, and the clearance height is 8’ for big vehicles which is not available in many hotels. I wasn’t sure how far we were going to be from LA sights and activities, but the location is avg 30 minutes away from many places (depending on traffic) which was not bad. I would return for my next visit!

We had such a great stay here! Restaurants near by and dine in options in the hotel as well. Also an AMC in case you want to catch a movie. It’s about 25 min from down town LA which was not bad. Felt very safe walking around at night. And they had a STARBUCKS at the entrance which was amazing!!! We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

Everything was great. Went to the bar area three different times. Only problem was their website advertised a happy hour Friday and Saturday from 9:30-11::30. When we got there Friday they said it was Saturday and sunday. The food was good but the only other place to eat was a Chinese restaurant and would have liked something else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Outstanding Stay from Start to Finish! Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Monterey Bay, Monterey Park, California, was nothing short of excellent. From check-in to check-out, the service was seamless. The staff were friendly, efficient, and always willing to help with any needs or questions we had during our visit. The location was perfect—close to all of our adventures, including Universal Studios, a Dodgers vs. Blue Jays game, Malibu, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood, and the Griffith Observatory. It made getting around incredibly convenient. The amenities were top-notch. We loved the 5-5-5-5 restaurant—delicious food and a welcoming staff. The bistro downstairs, which doubles as a Starbucks, was a great bonus. We were pleasantly surprised to receive $30 in breakfast coupons for each day of our 5-night stay, which was an amazing touch. Our kids had a blast at the pool and enjoyed the gym area. The lobby was truly stunning—spacious, inviting, and relaxing. It became one of our favorite spots to unwind after a busy day. The breakfast not too many choices. And I ask for the hot water, one of the server(the old man) said that this time he gave me for free, but he will charged for next time. That’s soooooo ridiculous. I never heard any of restaurants charge for hot water. His attitude was so bad. Just because I didn’t order anything and only ask for the hot water. I was so disappointed with his service.

The hotel is super clean and our room was very nice. Our room was facing towards the main street so we got a good view. The blinds really helps when the sun comes out. But the Ac isn't that strong to make the room cold. So it gets hot when you sleep. Overall this hotel is really good for my first time there.

Best staff was so welcoming and friendly which made my day so much better after such a hectic flight and Rental Car process. They even made last minute accommodations from my room. The staff at the Starbucks was so sweet and kind that by day two they had memorized my order and the food for the hotel was absolutely amazing. I'm traveling back to LA and October for concerts( Taemin and Monsta X) and staying in koreatown BUT decided to book three extra days just to relax in this hotel because just to relax and try a few restaurants in the area.
