Bedbugs pool not clean hot tub not clean also it had a smell too the property. Unfortunately had to say for the whole stay. Due to expenses I understand cheap hotels are bad but this one took the cake. Staying in a tent what have been preferred? Also had trouble with hot water system. it was lacking.

Access Road needs paving. Expedia needs to communicate better with Amerihost Staff. Staff very friendly and helpful in solving Expedia problem in checking in (took 40 minutes).

Had a good stay, older property. Doesn\'t have all the "newest amenities" so it you are looking for that, may not be the place for you. I would stay there again. Staff was friendly and cost was a good value.

The lady manager was very nice and helpful. The property is old but under upgrades. Work on renovations didn't seem to be done by professionals. Looked sloppy.

This hotel has obviously been recently taken over by AmeriHost Hotels. THere is a LOT of upgrading that needs to be done. Staff very helpful and friendly but bathroom very poor. Toilet needs to be upgraded to standard size and shower head needs to be changed out.

Although this room met our most basic needs for the night, we will not stay here again. The motel was not customer-friendly. The lobby was not air conditioned and therefore not inviting at all. The room needed some serious deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom. The room took a long time to cool down because the air conditioning wasn't even plugged in when we got to the room. The chain lock was missing from the room door, so we were concerned about safety. In addition, the front door into the motel was not locked at night.

There were gnats in the room. Card key reader didn't work but once out of 10 tries. Smoking rooms are only on the third floor but there's no elevator so I had to get a room for non-smoking. Room was clean but definitely need upgrades. Wi-Fi was iffy

The good: The service was great. The entry way to the room was easy, for carrying lots of bags. The smell of cigarettes was not in our room. The beds are clean. The tv works. The key worked, first try. The bad: The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, except our room. The blankets on the beds are very thin, and the pillows are uncomfortable. It smells like someone spilled a beer on the rug. The toilet bowl is stained. Not enough towels.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Lobby and halls wreak of smoke. Brown permanent stain in toilet. Shower head leaked and shot water over curtain into bathroom But the worst part of this hotel is that they charged me for the full stay and incidentals the minute I checked in. I did not use any incidentals. Due to life I checked out a day earlier. It has been three weeks and I have not recieved my refund for the non used incidentals or the day I did not stay. There apparently is some manager who must approve and he simultaneously is there and not there. This imaginary manager does not returns calls or emails. Expedia has run into the same problem with him and Expedia instead of following up washes their hands if it and no longer will help me. Thanks for nothing Expedia.

I hate leaving poor reviews but this one was such a bad experience. Besides the trash and broken computers (or something similar) outside the side door, the room smelled SO STRONG of mildew. Every night, we saw roaches in the bathroom, the towels were so scratchy, the floors were disgusting and had soft spots, the bathroom floors were sticky when wet. We had a non smoking room but outside the window that opens in our room were cigarettes and ash ( we were on the second floor). There were no fitted sheets on either of the 2 beds, just a regular sheet. Whoever checked us in was nice though, so at least that was something positive. the toilets didn't flush fully. Just so much. I know it's not a fancy place but at least take some pride in your hotel and clean the rooms as well as the perimeter.

Unbelievably dirty. Told it was oversold and that I was only allowed to have a smoking room. Carpet had not been vacuumed. I had to ask for clean sheets. As the sheets on the bed were r filthy and covered in stains. Visible mold in the bathroom. The shower toilet and sink had pubic hair, dried on toothpaste, grime and dirt. . No towels were provided. The parking lot was riddled with large pot holes. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, the young lady did her best but definitely had no ability to affect anything positively. She did provide me cleaning supplies so I could clean my own room. I know I was not the only customer planning and bringing up concerns

It was rough off the get go. Smelled like smoke as soon as you walked in. The receptionist was acting very weird, acted like she was on meth. About 5 minutes after I got into my room, two guys were yelling at each other and threatening to fight one another. Room was not clean. There was a chair that originally had electric controls to kick out the footrest, but that was not working and didn’t even have an electrical plug to plug in. Very rough- certainly won’t be staying there again.

Dirty, stunk, ugly, smelly, it was so smoke scented and was a no smoking room. That was after we had to change rooms because they couldnt get the key to work in first room. My wife and I stayed here after a football game in Columbia, MO instead of going back to St. Louis, MO that night. Looking through some of the reviews, I decided to book this hotel due to the inexpensive costs and several positive reviews (in comparison to hotels in the Columbia/Kingdom City, MO area). The hotel is in an area close to the interstate highway, but it was very outdated (hard bed, no iron, old towels, etc.). Even though we were only there approximately 10 hours (for a quick overnight stay), it was below the standard of other hotels that I have booked.

This is basically a very rundown hotel. The rooms are stinky. The shower has very little pressure. The bed is an old spring style mattress. If you fell on it you’d probably shoot up and hit your head on the ceiling, but it’s cheap in a Motel 6 for the same price Are usually much better than what you’ll get here. Probably why there was only three cars in the parking lot for the three nights I had to stay.

The staff is always very nice and present so if you need anything that they can help you with they are right there. The owners of this facility desperately need to upgrade the rooms. My air-conditioning unit didn’t have any buttons on it so the only way to get it to work was to plug it in and then to turn it off, was to unplug it. Also in the smoking rooms the fire detectors are disconnected. The tubs look like they have been there since the 1980s. The towels look like they have been there since the 1980s. Like I said, keep the staff, renovate your damn facility! It looks to me like there are so many Code violations. I’m surprised that it stays open.

Not enough linens in bathroom. No cups for drinking, no coffee maker. Very much had Oder of smoke. Not many amenities. A place you don't want to spend much time in your room. Bed cover had holes in it from cigarettes.

The entire room was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned, black marks on the walls, the chair was covered in stains. Hotel was conveniently to the interstate. Staff was great and room was ok. There were not enough outlets to charge my devices. The lamp was not working as it was unplugged. When I pushed away the bed to find the outlet there were 2 dead bugs and dust. The room was HOT when I got inside, not a pleasant welcoming after a long days ride.

Rooms are ok , owner wants to charge a $100 deposit to stay on top of the room rate, The refuses to return you're deposit even though you get told it will be returned on check out ,wanted me to pay a deposit after renting a room on Travelocity, whwn the website doesn't mention the $100 deposit. Access Road needs paving. Expedia needs to communicate better with Amerihost Staff. Staff very friendly and helpful in solving Expedia problem in checking in (took 40 minutes).

Service was terrible, worker at desk was not there when showed up and made us wait 15 minutes, claiming he was in the bathroom. Guy claimed reservation wasn’t showing up and tried to charge me extra, wouldn’t honor price I reserved. Never go there it is a terrible place.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Lobby and halls wreak of smoke. Brown permanent stain in toilet. Shower head leaked and shot water over curtain into bathroom But the worst part of this hotel is that they charged me for the full stay and incidentals the minute I checked in. I did not use any incidentals. Due to life I checked out a day earlier. It has been three weeks and I have not recieved my refund for the non used incidentals or the day I did not stay. There apparently is some manager who must approve and he simultaneously is there and not there. This imaginary manager does not returns calls or emails. Expedia has run into the same problem with him and Expedia instead of following up washes their hands if it and no longer will help me. Thanks for nothing Expedia.

They double charged my card for a deposit and immediately denied it although I saw the desk clerk run my card multiple times and toss receipts in a trash bin, and I then even showed them my account online, because I had received two notifications. ... They wouldn't give the deposit back (even the initial charge - half what they owed me) at checkout either. Was told the owner would have to handle that that evening, long after I had had to check out and go. My room was barely used and left in clean condition, by the way. I've just started a dispute for the deposit charges as I now believe I've been defrauded.

Felt vehicle was in an unsafe area. I felt safer in the Petro Truck stop next door. Matter of fact the Petro was much cleaner and the people were friendlier...I should have slept in my truck in their lot!

Hotel was conveniently to the interstate. Staff was great and room was ok. There were not enough outlets to charge my devices. The lamp was not working as it was unplugged. When I pushed away the bed to find the outlet there were 2 dead bugs and dust. The room was HOT when I got inside, not a pleasant welcoming after a long days ride.

Front desk clerk was very nice. Pointed out new items in the room. But, light fixture was hanging from the ceiling, bed covers had A LOT of cigarette burns. Advertised as full breakfast buffet. They had absolutely nothing! We picked this location partly for convenience in the morning, but nothing. When I stated we would have stayed elsewhere, she said that's been a problem. We are planning numerous trips in the next few years, we'll find somewhere else to stay. Expedia, you need to change this on your description.

DO NOT STAY HERE! First noted that this group does NOT give any kind of breakfast as it is advertised. It was obvious this place has seen way better times! Amerihost appears to be new owners because rugs, etc show it was a Super 8. Worse than no breakfast, accidently left billfold in the room when we left at ~8:30am. Housekeeping evidently found it and a call was made to us about 2:30pm. Unfortunately we were alread home, 6 hours away. Over next 24 hours, hotel employee agreed to send billfold to us via Priority Mail. Money to do mail the billfold was sent and received (including $25 thank you). Eight days later, no billfold received and employee not responding to phone calls. Found he had been fired. Hotel manager only said they thought it had been sent. Come to find out the employee was staying at the hotel and did not offer a home address at time of employement. Call to sheriff indicates employee known to police and had been in trouble with them. Now we are trying to replace all the cards, etc in the billfold!

Staff stated they havent had it in 2 years. The exit on my side of the building had no lock.The worst motel I,ve stayed in in 30 years.

Building was run down, towels had holes, etc. Staff tried to assist, but had to leave key on bench when checking out as guy was asleep in his chair (with another on the foyer lounge) We chose it because of the included breakfast advertised - there was no breakfast whatsoever!

Bed was surprisingly soft and comfy. Room was clean. Water was hot. Fridge cold. Towels rough and dingy. Basic needs for a hotel. No breakfast. Lobby smelled bad. Air conditioner cold. Sheets thin, but nice pillows and a recliner.

Hotel facilities are unloved and poorly maintained. The linen is dingy and torn. The tub was dirty. The corners are broken and dirty in the bathroom and bedroom. The ac had no cover, was dirty, noisy and sprayed mist into the room. There were no screen on the window so could not open window. The mattress you could feel the springs and there was minimal linen on bed. I had over $150.00 in unexpected fees related to my pet. The desk clerk told me I would receive a refund of $100.00 but nearly 2 weeks later I still have not received.

The room was clean but the furniture was junk, and it was supposed to be a smoke-free room. But you could smell cigarette smoke in the room. The bed sheets and blankets instead of smell like cigarette smoke. I guess the reason why it was considered a smoke. Free room is because at that particular time, I was not smoking in it. The entire floor that I was on as soon as you walked into the hallway. All you could smell was cigarette smoke. The I guess the AC or whatever was not working downstairs like in the lobby. So they had the doors open. So a breeze could blow in, but other than that, that was it. There was no AC or anything there. The locks on the door were subpar. At best it was just a chain lock on the door I did not feel safe at all.
