The place is nice and has corky art. It’s got a great vibe. The gym is very small and closes at 8 PM. The restaurant closes at 10 and bar closes at midnight. The VIP room I got stared straight at a parking garage. VIP amenities are not existent here Even with VIP through Expedia. They still charged you $60 a day to park. I really didn’t see the value for this luxury hotel. The service from all the employees is wonderful. They are very helpful. Very kind with the hotel itself could offer a little more.

Liked internal decor-especially the art. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Car service to local downtown restaurants and clubs was perfect. Only real controllable issue to us was the pool was overcrowded and the staff was not able to stay up with drinks/food. Other than this minor issue we had a great time at this top flight hotel.

This hotel is very friendly. Pool is really nice. There is a 3 mile limit for where the drivers will take you for free. The restaurant upstairs is delicious. The bed rooms with a balcony is worth the extra money spent. The views and the breeze at night was nice for your slow days. Parking is 60 bucks a day which is pretty expensive. And the homeless in the area was very off putting.

We just had a 3 night stay at hotel Zaza and it was overall great! Pros: -Double deluxe room (pink striped headboards) was quite spacious. Bathroom was a good size, large mirror, insanely strong water pressure which felt like a spa. -Lots of cute touches, like large chocolate chip cookies and candy in the lobby, and coffee & tea service on each floor -Pool had good views of the city, comfortable cabana chairs -Great location, quick walk to many dining options Cons: -While the concierge at check in was nice, a different concierge (evening shift) was rude when we asked for extra bottles of water at the front desk. Like basically rolled his eyes and acted like he didn't want to give us the water. Why? -Pool is not heated, so even on a 80 degree day in November, it was freezing cold

Pool is amazing as it looks in the picture. Great location right in the center of Downtown, very walkable to everything. Valet guys were all so friendly and professional. We took advantage of their free car service every day where they dropped us off and picked us up all over town. Front desk people were great, free wine upon arrival, cookies in the lobby daily. I loved that the bar/restaurant were open until 12am when everything else closed at 10pm across town, it kept us fed on the late nights. Worth every penny.

Everything was great except the service at the pool was terrible. Considering this was the only option for a drink and the hotel does not allow outside food or drink I would have expected the service to be better. Especially at the high cost to purchase drinks! Otherwise we had a lovely stay at the hotel.

The property is beautiful. The restaurant is excellent. Service was top notch. The only thing I really didn’t like was $59 for parking every night. That is double what it should be. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Super clean, luxurious and huge room. Awesome shower pressure and hot water. Lovely pool, but has become mostly sun obstructed due to newly built glass towers. Restaurant and bar are delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and for the most part, very clean. When I went to get in bed, I pulled back the sheets and they were stained and dirty. I took pics and went down to the front desk. The staff was apologetic and immediately switched me to an upgraded room. This was great except for the fact that I had already unpacked my clothes and toiletries and so had to repack everything so I could move to a different room. Other than that, I loved the hotel and would recommend them.

Best hotel stay ever. Everything was perfect. It smelled wonderful, the mattress was amazing, the shower was the best, it was super clean, loved the free shuttle to anywhere within 3 miles, valets were wonderful...just nothing to complain about.

Great location to explore all that Austin has to offer. Hotel Zaza's service was definitely towards the top. The front desk was always friendly and the cookies every afternoon in the lobby hit the spot. The room was enormous, nicely decorated and very clean. Kudos to housekeeping! The bed was one of most comfortable with cozy bedding and pillows. The free bottled water, ice and moon pie offered each evening was very welcome after the heat of the day.

I only had two problems, both concerning the bathroom. When I got to my room, there was hair in the sink that wasn’t mine. Someone had turned the shower handle off so tightly that I couldn’t turn the water on. I eventually took a wet towel and tugged and tugged on the handle. I was frankly exhausted by the time I had running water in the shower. I’m 72 years old with a heart condition. This was not a good experience.

Zaza is my new “go to” in Austin. I love the chill vibe and friendly staff. The rooms and bedding are comfy and spacious. I also appreciate the complimentary coffee. I only wish the lighting was better for makeup application.

I love Zara and always have a great experience. My only comment/criticism is that if you are not on one of the very top floors, the street noise can be very intrusive late at night. I know the hotel has no control over it but it is definitely an issue.

I love the whole vibe of this hotel. The lobby signature scent is divine. Love the room decor and spaciousness. Never expected to compliment a shower, but it’s not probably the best hotel shower I’ve encountered in a long time.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, big and clean. The hotel is convenient to a lot of the activities we were doing downtown and lots of places were walkable. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel. Very large unlike other boutique hotels. Quirky art throughout. Friendly staff, especially Jacob at the front desk. My room was super larger and comfy. Bay room large and nice shower! Loved being greeted with candles in the room. Free coffee serio every morning I’d a nice touch. There’s also a free “shuttle”, which I’d actually a huge truck they used to transport you anywhere within 3 miles. Stone was great. Only con was my room was a bit dark, even in the day and on Saturday night, I could hear music outside of the hotel for a few hours in the night. I’m also facing a parking lot and hotel block.

The hotel is centrally located and you can't beat that! We booked a junior suit and were really surprised about the layout -- for such a large room, it was quite bare. not a ton of furniture and there was one armoire for clothes but no other closets. the bathroom has lights right over the sink and pin lights right above a mirror are a really bad combo! you can hardly see yourself. housekeeping was a little hit or miss - various products weren't refilled but we did get a ton of towels and that was much appreciated! it was a very spacious room and comfortable, but the design was a little strange. the pool area and restaurant / bar on 7 was great -- the staff was super lovely, the pool was nice, and there was a ton of seating around the pool area to do a little work or sit with a cocktail. outside of these few things, i enjoyed the stay and would come back.

A staycation at this beautiful property featuring a superb staff. The room, the bar/restaurant(s), the valet; top-shelf from start to finish. Accomodating staff took very good care to personalize our experience, a birthday celebration. Will definitely return!

My room was not properly cleaned. Several dirty glasses, even empty plastic coffee cups stacked up were left behind after housekeeping serviced the room. I ordered food for delivery from a restaurant. The front desk did not send the delivery guy to my door or call me. They replied they were busy when I called down. I asked if they could send forks to the room, it was never delivered. No option to purchase movies or login into Netflicks, only basic cable options. I think service does not match the nearly $500 a night price. I wish I stayed elsewhere.

My wife and I just returned from the Hotel ZaZa and we had a wonderful time, starting with check in. My wife mentioned that we were celebrating our 35th anniversary and we were upgraded to a suite. The rest of the staff was equally as nice during our stay. They provided great restaurant recommendations and suggestions for where to go. The downtown location is near everything and the rooftop pool was very welcoming after spending the day in the hot Texas sun. The hotel also provides complimentary car service to local spots.

My husband tried to check in before me and Jacob was extremely rude as well as the manager. He did not have the reservation number and was told he could not check in because the reservation was only in my name! Terrible customer service. On the other hand, the girls in the dining room were great; very friendly after such a horrible check in experience! Kudos to the bellman and valet as well! Zaza you need to up your game by hiring friendly folks… after all we’re in Texas… the Friendly state.

Only issue was at check-in, my credit card was run for $100 for incidentals. No big deal, right? Apparently, if you book with Expedia, if they just add and run your card for the incidentals, it says your card is declined. Worth noting: Card wasn’t damaged, had plenty of credit available, and there wasn’t a fraud concern. I had to pull my card up on my credit card app and prove the charge had been accepted and was pending for them to realize the issue was on their end. The host then explained this happens when you book and pay with Expedia. A small thing, but mortifying, because the whole lobby could hear I might be a deadbeat with a non working card - but I wasn’t. Other than that embarrassing situation, the lobby is lovely, hotel smelled great walking in, valets are attentive, staff are kind and otherwise knowledgeable, rooms are spacious, clean, with just the amenities you need, nothing you don’t. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, thought I brought my own pillow because I am personally not a fan of the highly squishable, faux-down-feather style pillows. If you’re not a fan of those either - bring your own pillow because the room has like, 6 of them, but they’re all the same style. Overall, a very nice hotel; reminds me a little of the vibe at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Elegant but funky, Cool, eclectic, maybe a little naughty? A great stay & only two blocks from the Moody Center; aka: Austin City Limits.

Couple things stood out at the ZaZa. Location downtown was excellent. The car service was exceptional and fun - loved the lighted cattle skull and horns on the front grill and the Christmas tree tied on the roof! Coffee stations on each floor made it so easy to get going in the morning. The pool was nice and got good afternoon sun. Balcony room had a great view of park and we could hear music from festival. The staff were all really friendly.

I have stayed at the Houston location and wanted to try Austin's location. Staff was exceptional, room comfortable, but restaurant service not up to par. The food ordered was cold and lenght to deliver exceptionally long.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay with you this past weekend! The location was perfect, our room was lovely, and the service we received was exceptional. We especially loved the hotel pool vibe and the signature cocktail selection from the pool bar and the hotel bar. The turndown service was also a very nice touch. We had a great stay for a few days of Austin enjoyment. Very attentive staff all around. The shuttle service they provide within a 3 mile radius was very helpful and a wonderful treat. Group Therapy Restaurant on the 7th floor was wonderful and priced within reason. We only ate at the bar, but Harold, the bartender, was great. Very accommodating. We would strongly suggest this as a property to stay for a visit to Austin.
