My partner and I wanted to visit Pittsburgh, but hotels in the city were pricey and you had to pay an additional fee for overnight parking. This hotel was much nicer and in a secluded area surrounded by corporate buildings and newer apartments. It was also in front of a street with restaurants walking distance away. Pittsburgh was an easy 20min drive which was perfect for us! Gym was very nice for a hotel, room was modern, clean, and comfortable. No complaints!

This was a phenomenal experience. We’d never stayed at the AC by Marriott before, but when I tell you we can’t wait to come back, we can’t! The entire experience was top tier. We were greeted with smiles, and every staff member was attentive. The ambiance and decor exuded luxury. We were sad that we were only staying one day! Our room layout was spectacular and we had everything we needed for a more than comfort stay. One of the best parts was the food served at the on site bar/restaurant. Everything was made to order, fresh and delicious. We had wonderful conversation with the amazing bar attendee, Jodi. She was pleasant and took care of every customer providing each of us stellar service. This was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Marriott you did EXCELLENT with this one.

The staff was great. The hotel on the other hand needed some help. The showers leaked into the bathroom, no matter what you tried to do to stop it. The staff said it was a engineering design flaw in all of the rooms. The hall walls looked scratched and worn. The carpet was stained. A small thing, but ethe water was very hard. I wonder why they did not put in a water softener like lesser hotels I have stayed in.

The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 stars is because when I checked in they asked if I want turn down service and I said yes but nobody came to tidy up the room. I only stayed 3 nights so I didn’t need any more towels than they already provided me and I was able to redo the bed quickly myself but if he asked and I said yes I would have appreciated it to be done. Other than that the staff was so professional and friend. The hotel was very clean, luxurious and fabulous. The room layout was interesting with the sink being in the middle but I’m alone so I don’t mind. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend. Also, the breakfast in the morning was delicious, especially the bacon and waffles (eaten separately haha).
