This hotel is a small and very nice authentic hotel. If you want to stay in an authentic environment instead of a big international hotel this is it. The rooms, the terraces and the courtyards are very cosy and give you a feeling of being back in time. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and they speak English. Just a few steps from the hotel you have a long vibrant street with lots of small shops selling all kinds of stuff, and yet the hotel is very quiet. If you are up for a longer walk, it is possible to walk to the forbidden city as well. All in all I loved staying there, and the hotel has my best recommendations.

Exceptionnel. La gentillesse du personnel, la propreté, l'emplacement. Si vous recherchez un hôtel sur Pékin choisissez celui-ci. Un hôtel avec beaucoup de charme, les chambres sont décorées avec goût, la salle de bain est très grande avec douche et baignoire. Nous avions une chambre en rez de chaussée au calme. L'hôtel possède une grande terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Tout était parfait, on vous propose même le nettoyage de vos vêtements gratuitement. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. The facilities are traditional Chinese, with wooden floors and rustic themed rooms. However, rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. They also have cute little balconies from where you can drink tea while transporting yourself back in time. The staff was the best part. Very nice, always available and catering to our every need. Afternoon tea time was quite endearing. Breakfast was really good, Chinese/western buffet. Overall a very cozy little hotel that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. An experience we will never forget.

We had a lovely stay! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with our luggage, ride arrangements, food deliveries, etc. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food options, and afternoon tea was available every day with snacks and refreshments. A free laundry service was also provided. The rooms are beautiful, offering a traditional Beijing HuTong experience with modernized decor. This hotel is also located steps away from a vibrant shopping centre, offering great opportunities to shop for snacks and souvenirs! We would absolutely stay here again

I can not imagine that there is a hotel better located in Beijing. Staying right in the middle of the hutongs, this hotel had amazing historical character, lovely staff, breakfast and afternoon tea included, and a free laundry service. Needless to say I will gladly be back next time I’m in Beijing

후통 골목 중앙에 위치한 느낌있는 숙소입니다. (간혹 dd택시가 골목이 너무 좁아서 대로에 내리라고 할 수 있는데, 다른 기사들은 다 들어갔다고 하면 안쪽까지 내려줍니다.) 직원들은 매우 친절하고, 서비스도 매우 훌륭합니다. 조식 메뉴가 다양하지는 않지만 무료로 즐기기에는 훌륭하며 조식 메뉴 포장할 용기를 달라고 하면 용기와 비닐백도 줍니다. (투어 일정 때문에 조식을 먹지 못한 날에는 매우 유용합니다) 제가 묵었던 방은 2층으로 되어있으며 2층의 컨디션이 매우 좋았습니다. 2층은 욕실이 매우 넓고 깔끔했지만 수압이 다소 약했습니다. 2층에는 여럿이서 모여 앉아 놀 수 있는 공간도 따로 있어 좋았습니다. 방에 개별 냉장고가 없는 것과 마지막날 손가락만한 전갈이 나온 거 빼고는 만족했습니다. 다시 한 번 직원분들의 친절함에 감사드립니다.

Adoramos o hotel…queríamos um hotel que fosse um pouco mais parecido com a cultura deles… e esse nos atendeu perfeitamente. O atendimento foi excelente. Chegamos tarde e eles nos ofereceram um lanchinho com frutas e sementes… muito gostoso! O quarto é pequeno, porém para pouco dias é excelente. Muito charmoso. Escolhemos um que tinha uma sacada, porem o acesso e por uma escada em caracol (nao indico para quem estiver com malas). Tudo muito limpo e agradável! Cafe da manhã muito gostoso também, tem opções para quem está acostumado com a comida do ocidente! A localização é muito boa também, ao lado de uma rua bem movimentada de turista.

Taxis can be challenging due to the narrow streets that aren't designed for modern transportation, but you are within a short walking distance to a main street and metro stop. I often stay at luxury hotels, but I’ve never seen a hotel and room quite like this one. It’s rich in traditional Beijing architectural culture. The room is clean and full of character. The staff are extremely friendly. Everyone is working diligently and professionally. There’s none of the toxic tipping culture you find in the US. The afternoon tea and breakfast are also very fresh. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended!

Excellent location right off the popular shopping street of Nan luo gu xiang. It is a short walk from the subway. (Where it is possible to the airport with two easy transfers). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and afternoon tea on premises. All makes up for the small inconvenient of an older facility. We picked this place for its traditional setting afterall. Air-conditioned rooms with washer is very convenient.

This hotel is a small and very nice authentic hotel. If you want to stay in an authentic environment instead of a big international hotel this is it. The rooms, the terraces and the courtyards are very cosy and give you a feeling of being back in time. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and they speak English. Just a few steps from the hotel you have a long vibrant street with lots of small shops selling all kinds of stuff, and yet the hotel is very quiet. If you are up for a longer walk, it is possible to walk to the forbidden city as well. All in all I loved staying there, and the hotel has my best recommendations.

Adoramos o hotel…queríamos um hotel que fosse um pouco mais parecido com a cultura deles… e esse nos atendeu perfeitamente. O atendimento foi excelente. Chegamos tarde e eles nos ofereceram um lanchinho com frutas e sementes… muito gostoso! O quarto é pequeno, porém para pouco dias é excelente. Muito charmoso. Escolhemos um que tinha uma sacada, porem o acesso e por uma escada em caracol (nao indico para quem estiver com malas). Tudo muito limpo e agradável! Cafe da manhã muito gostoso também, tem opções para quem está acostumado com a comida do ocidente! A localização é muito boa também, ao lado de uma rua bem movimentada de turista.

Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. The facilities are traditional Chinese, with wooden floors and rustic themed rooms. However, rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. They also have cute little balconies from where you can drink tea while transporting yourself back in time. The staff was the best part. Very nice, always available and catering to our every need. Afternoon tea time was quite endearing. Breakfast was really good, Chinese/western buffet. Overall a very cozy little hotel that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. An experience we will never forget.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in the middle of Beijing for 12 days.The staff at the hotel are second to none. Very friendly and helpful. They will help you order take away, taxis and advise where to go. They will help you even when you're out and about and order a taxi to pick you up. Nowhere have i seen this level of care and service. Certainly not from a hotel. They felt like family rather than staff. Our room was nice and spacious for a family of 5 with fast wireless internet. They supply you with most of the toiletries you will need. You will only need to bring special ones otherwise its there. A variety of slippers as well. There are so many varieties of shop all around this hotel from literally the first step outside. Its a treasure trove of a shopping experience. The land marks like Forbidden City and Great Wall are a short taxi away and the fair are so affordable. Holiday of a lifetime.

They greated us on arrival even with the pouring rain. Explained all the amenities that were available. The free breakfast had a wide variety of food. Dont skip the dumpling soup for breakfast. The tea time drinks and snacks were amazing. I cannot stress how great the staff was. They even helped arrange transportation to the Great Wall for us.

Alice and the staff at the hotel were super accommodating and assisted us in every aspect of our stay. The rooms were quaint with modern amenities and the courtyard transports you back in time. This hotel is a small and very nice authentic hotel. If you want to stay in an authentic environment instead of a big international hotel this is it. The rooms, the terraces and the courtyards are very cosy and give you a feeling of being back in time. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and they speak English. Just a few steps from the hotel you have a long vibrant street with lots of small shops selling all kinds of stuff, and yet the hotel is very quiet. If you are up for a longer walk, it is possible to walk to the forbidden city as well. All in all I loved staying there, and the hotel has my best recommendations.

Located within walking distance from the subway. Right off really popular hutang that offers a lot of options for food. The hotel is quaint and the staff was amazing. They greated us on arrival even with the pouring rain. Explained all the amenities that were available. The free breakfast had a wide variety of food. Dont skip the dumpling soup for breakfast. The tea time drinks and snacks were amazing. I cannot stress how great the staff was. They even helped arrange transportation to the Great Wall for us.

The warm and personal service I encountered here is truly unmatched. I've stayed at high-end hotels like the St. Regis, famed for its butler service, but the staff here surpassed my expectations. The speed and quality of their responses were phenomenal! A special shoutout to the two ladies who assisted me at check-in—one of whom was named Lily. They made me feel genuinely welcomed. The hotel’s location in Beijing's hutong is fantastic. Given the historical context and limited car access—akin to the charming old towns in Europe—you should not expect the typical high water pressure of a modern hotel. Nevertheless, I believe this unique setting is the perfect way for visitors to explore the area. Not only were the services outstanding (they respond to all of my request via Wechat instantly), but the amenities were also impressive. From arrival to departure, the staff were so welcoming and hospitable. The hotel is a delight and the photos accurately depict it. A very popular place. Would recommend if you want to be right in the heart of Beijing. So much to see and explore here.

I can not imagine that there is a hotel better located in Beijing. Staying right in the middle of the hutongs, this hotel had amazing historical character, lovely staff, breakfast and afternoon tea included, and a free laundry service. Needless to say I will gladly be back next time I’m in Beijing

Llegamos antes de lo previsto y nos permitieron hacer un early check in sin coste. El personal de 10. El desayuno, bastante completo. La zona, es uno de los principales Hutong, por lo que siempre hay mucha gente y opciones. Metro a 5minutos, muy buena ubicación y fácil conexión con el aeropuerto.
Llegamos antes de lo previsto y nos permitieron hacer un early check in sin coste. El personal de 10. El desayuno, bastante completo. La zona, es uno de los principales Hutong, por lo que siempre hay mucha gente y opciones. Metro a 5minutos, muy buena ubicación y fácil conexión con el aeropuerto.

Excellent location right off the popular shopping street of Nan luo gu xiang. It is a short walk from the subway. (Where it is possible to the airport with two easy transfers). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and afternoon tea on premises. All makes up for the small inconvenient of an older facility. We picked this place for its traditional setting afterall. Air-conditioned rooms with washer is very convenient.

Elle a pris le temps de nous expliquer tousles détails pratiques essentiels au bon déroulement de notrevoyage comme le fonctionnement d'Alipay, ainsi que des réservations indispensables sur tous les sites, même la place Tian'anmen. Elle nous a donné des conseils judicieux sur les quartiers à ne pas manquer ni le jour ni la nuit. Le passage dans cet hôtel était tellement idyllique que nous n'avons qu'une envie, y retourner. Merci à Expedia d'ajouter l'adresse en chinois, car les chauffeurs de taxi ne lisent pas l'anglais.

Adoramos o hotel…queríamos um hotel que fosse um pouco mais parecido com a cultura deles… e esse nos atendeu perfeitamente. O atendimento foi excelente. Chegamos tarde e eles nos ofereceram um lanchinho com frutas e sementes… muito gostoso! O quarto é pequeno, porém para pouco dias é excelente. Muito charmoso. Escolhemos um que tinha uma sacada, porem o acesso e por uma escada em caracol (nao indico para quem estiver com malas). Tudo muito limpo e agradável! Cafe da manhã muito gostoso também, tem opções para quem está acostumado com a comida do ocidente! A localização é muito boa também, ao lado de uma rua bem movimentada de turista.

Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. The facilities are traditional Chinese, with wooden floors and rustic themed rooms. However, rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. They also have cute little balconies from where you can drink tea while transporting yourself back in time. The staff was the best part. Very nice, always available and catering to our every need. Afternoon tea time was quite endearing. Breakfast was really good, Chinese/western buffet. Overall a very cozy little hotel that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. We had a lovely stay! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with our luggage, ride arrangements, food deliveries, etc. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food options, and afternoon tea was available every day with snacks and refreshments. A free laundry service was also provided. The rooms are beautiful, offering a traditional Beijing HuTong experience with modernized decor. This hotel is also located steps away from a vibrant shopping centre, offering great opportunities to shop for snacks and souvenirs! We would absolutely stay here again

Perfektes Hotel. So stellt man sich China vor. Mitten in den Hutongs und die Unterkunft wunderschön. Modernes Badezimmer, Fußboden Heizung, Nudelsuppe zum Frühstück und das Personal sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Bästa servicen, god frukost och läge! Allt var toppen och mycket ingick, som obegränsad minibar, afternoon tea och tvättservice! Personalen hjälpte oss med mycket utöver hotellvistelsen, som bokning av taxi och restauranger. Tusen tack för all hjälp och bra service!

Outstanding service, free breakfast and tea break snacks (6 plates of snacks wow). They even helped us to book a taxi to the hotel when we were leaving. Place is really quaint and lovely. Would give a 10 out of 5 for service if I could.
