Wir haben für 5 Nächte ein kleines Zimmer gebucht. Die Anreise war soweit unproblematisch, etwas zwielichtige Gegend, viele Treppen, was aber zu erwarten war in der Altstadt. Leider hatten wir Schimmel über dem Fenster und an der Wand. Wir konnten die Hotelmanagerin direkt nach dem Einchecken gegen 0 Uhr noch erreichen und haben uns darauf geeinigt am nächsten Morgen kostenlos wieder auszuchecken, da das Hotel komplett ausgebucht war und wir kein anderes Zimmer bekommen konnten. Trotz der Enttäuschung über das Zimmer, ist die Unterkunft uns auch positiv in Erinnerung geblieben aufgrund des wunderschönen Ausblicks von der Dachterrasse direkt neben dem Frühstückssaal. Das Frühstück war auch gut gewählt. Da wir das Problem soweit mit der Hotelmanagerin lösen konnten und unser Geld zurückbekommen haben, trotzdem 4 von 5 Sternen.

Friendly staff, close to attractions, quiet and clean rooms. Very potent fragrances from cleaning products that was impossible to air-out of the room. Very gross hot tub with green water. Excellent views. The street outside the hotel was unpaved and foot traffic only. Graffiti, empty lots and abandoned buildings. Warm welcome from staff.

Loved this place it was cute, clean and the staff were so nice, my favourite part was the terrace it’s a great place to hangout and relax. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel. When you walk into the entrance you immediately have an amazing view of the city from the open air lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and had a nice variety of foods. The appartement was lovely and very clean. We would definitely return! Our only problem was with Expedia. They listed the room as big enough for four people. There is only sleeping space for three. At reception, they explained this to us and offered us the opportunity to see the space and try to figure out a solution. We had no where else to go, so we made do. Expedia needs to make this clear.

La chambre est très jolie et très bien agencée, la terrasse est super agréable et l'hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir la ville, nous n'aurions pas rêvé mieux, le personnel est hyper agréable et aux petits soins, nous avons apprécié la charmante attention, par contre voisins du dessus et chambre bruyante, nous n'avons pas beaucoup dormi sur 3 jours à cause des allers et venues du dessus et de la mauvaise insonorisation, gros soucis aussi concernant les odeurs de canalisations, ne soyez pas non plus perturbés par le quartier qui tient plus du nom mans land que du quartier touristique, au moins c'est calme, sans les odeurs et le bruit le séjour aurait été vraiment parfait

What a view at this hotel! We had a great stay, very close to the first stop on the famous tram. Need to go up steps to get there. Very clean and everyone was so nice!

The suit that we had was not clean and had terrible pluming, the sink in the kitchen was not properly installed so we got a foul smell coming up through the sink so we had to leave all the windows open at all times to keep it from smelling of sewer gas. the shower in the bathroom often was without hot water and the shower leaked so much we had to put towels all over the bathroom floor to stop it from leaking to the main room. its smelt of mould and mildew.

Great location in old town which is shabby-chic area. Yes, there are a lot of outdoor stairs to the suites but it’s a great way to keep up with your exercise! Lisbon itself is full of hills so be aware of this before going :) The staff at Castello are super nice & helpful. We loved our suite - very clean, bed was comfortable, so nice to be able to eat in when you want in the comfort of your pjs ;) Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We felt safe in the neighborhood and things you may see (drinking in the street, occasional individual getting high) happens in every country! We loved waking up every morning we were there to a splendid view of Lisbon. The unit was very clean and well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fairly close the Baixa and the metro, however, there is no vehicular access to the hotel and a fair number of stairs to get there. Pack light! (we didn't) and consider it as a built-in stairmaster.

It was an amazing experience staying at Castello Prime Suite! The staff was all really nice and friendly. The breakfast with the view was a blast. The view from the room was breathtaking. Will definitely go back when I visit Lisbon again.

La chambre est très jolie et très bien agencée, la terrasse est super agréable et l'hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir la ville, nous n'aurions pas rêvé mieux, le personnel est hyper agréable et aux petits soins, nous avons apprécié la charmante attention, par contre voisins du dessus et chambre bruyante, nous n'avons pas beaucoup dormi sur 3 jours à cause des allers et venues du dessus et de la mauvaise insonorisation, gros soucis aussi concernant les odeurs de canalisations, ne soyez pas non plus perturbés par le quartier qui tient plus du nom mans land que du quartier touristique, au moins c'est calme, sans les odeurs et le bruit le séjour aurait été vraiment parfait

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft mit einem tollen Blick über Lissabon. Das Gebäude ist sehr hellhörig. Das Bett sehr gemütlich. Die Unterkunft ist nur über zahlreiche Treppen erreichbar, was man bei der Buchung beachten sollte. Das Frühstücksangebot ist reichhaltig und es stehen dauerhaft Kaffee und Wasser zur Verfügung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great location in old town which is shabby-chic area. Yes, there are a lot of outdoor stairs to the suites but it’s a great way to keep up with your exercise! Lisbon itself is full of hills so be aware of this before going :) The staff at Castello are super nice & helpful. We loved our suite - very clean, bed was comfortable, so nice to be able to eat in when you want in the comfort of your pjs ;) Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We felt safe in the neighborhood and things you may see (drinking in the street, occasional individual getting high) happens in every country! This is a lovely hotel. When you walk into the entrance you immediately have an amazing view of the city from the open air lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and had a nice variety of foods. The appartement was lovely and very clean. We would definitely return! Our only problem was with Expedia. They listed the room as big enough for four people. There is only sleeping space for three. At reception, they explained this to us and offered us the opportunity to see the space and try to figure out a solution. We had no where else to go, so we made do. Expedia needs to make this clear.

We loved waking up every morning we were there to a splendid view of Lisbon. The unit was very clean and well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fairly close the Baixa and the metro, however, there is no vehicular access to the hotel and a fair number of stairs to get there. Pack light! (we didn't) and consider it as a built-in stairmaster.

Friendly staff, close to attractions, quiet and clean rooms. Very potent fragrances from cleaning products that was impossible to air-out of the room. Very gross hot tub with green water. Excellent views. The street outside the hotel was unpaved and foot traffic only. Graffiti, empty lots and abandoned buildings. Warm welcome from staff.

It was an amazing experience staying at Castello Prime Suite! The staff was all really nice and friendly. The breakfast with the view was a blast. The view from the room was breathtaking. Will definitely go back when I visit Lisbon again.

Great location in old town which is shabby-chic area. Yes, there are a lot of outdoor stairs to the suites but it’s a great way to keep up with your exercise! Lisbon itself is full of hills so be aware of this before going :) The staff at Castello are super nice & helpful. We loved our suite - very clean, bed was comfortable, so nice to be able to eat in when you want in the comfort of your pjs ;) Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We felt safe in the neighborhood and things you may see (drinking in the street, occasional individual getting high) happens in every country! Great welcome on arrival after having some difficulty finding the property - taxi drivers get you within a couple of hundred yards but don’t seem able to drop you off outside the door. Neighbourhood can be a bit ropy at night. Condition and cleanliness of property both excellent. Breakfast was good.

Friendly staff, close to attractions, quiet and clean rooms. Very potent fragrances from cleaning products that was impossible to air-out of the room. Very gross hot tub with green water. Excellent views. The street outside the hotel was unpaved and foot traffic only. Graffiti, empty lots and abandoned buildings. Warm welcome from staff.
