5th floor room had a great veiw of down town waco and silo's. Room was nice even had an over-sized beanbag chair. Hotel lobby had lots of sitting room, board games available, pool table and a full bar

Great hotel, nice staff, good pool area with lots of to do (Giant Jenga, pool table, assorted games and space to play and have a snack or a drink in the lobby). I was a road trip throughout Texas with my boys and this was our favorite hotel, hands down.

Very small hotel. The pictures online are deceiving. The lobby is probably 1500 sq ft and the pool might be 20 ft long. Everything’s just tiny even the hallways and they didn’t even have food to serve

This is our favorite place to stay in Waco. Clean, comfortable rooms that are thoughtfully laid out and equipped with everything we need. The beds are like sleeping on clouds!

They put me in a room that was yet to be cleaned. They were still working on it then they put me in another room and there was still trash in the trashcan and there were stains on the pillows.

Very disappointed. I stayed 2 nights. Did not have hot water. After leaving shower to run 10 min it was at best barely not cold. The hallway to my room was very dirty even had dead (thank goodness) bugs on carpet along with dirt and trash. The next morning I told the lady at the desk about not having hot water and that the carpets on the second floor had not been vacuumed and were very dirty. She called there maintenance man who after finding out I was in room 227 at the end of one hall said that it was just because I was so far away. I told her I waited 10 min. (Hard to say you care about conservation if you accept wasting water). She said the maintenance could not come back until the next day. When I got back that night and the next morning I still only had cool water and the same bugs were in the hallway. I will not be going back if the management doesn’t even care about general cleanliness

Hotel was nice, location wasnt the best. Only real complaint was the mights. You couldnt have the bed light on without the bright overhead lights on for some reason. All in all a great stay though.

The property is newer but the rooms are small and awkwardly designed. Examples: the bathroom has a sliding door with a gap at the wall so there is no privacy and no noise blocker/fan. There isnt a good place to put towels by the shower. Instead of a side chair by the bed, there is a flat beanbag. The area around the hotel is a little rough; in the middle of the night there was screaming in the hallway which made us wonder what kind of patrons were there. In short, for the price, there are better options in Waco.

Great quiet room, the layout was really nice because it inhibited waking other persons up. The bed was super comfortable. We did not eat breakfast so I can’t comment on that, probably the only negative was the neighborhood. Not the best.

Good if you are looking for a low priced hotel that is clean. But, if you are looking for a nicer hotel with a full restaurant and coffee shop, pay the extra and go for Hilton or Hotel Indigo. That is what we will do next time. Lady at the front desk was so rude and disrespectful her name was Rocio completely entitled and seemed to hate her job. We had breakfast vouchers and she didn’t explain to us how they worked kept rolling her eyes and responding in a condescending manner. Random hairs all over the room, and smelled of humidity Will not be staying here again

We stayed for a last minute trip. The ac in the room wasn’t working, so we had to get a different room late at night. Which essentially was not a big deal… but this caused us to stay up late with an infant who was irritated, so we didn’t get much sleep. We asked for a late check out, and was told since we weren’t members, they couldn’t accommodate us. We explained how it would help us given the circumstances, and was told to call at night when the manager was there. Shortly after, we got a call saying we could have 30 extra minutes, and although we were grateful for any additional time, the customer service was not okay. Other than that, the room was comfy and loved the decor in the hotel.

While the hotel facility itself was not bad, we had a negative experience during our stay. We were charged for drinks at the bar while we didn’t visit the bar. The issue was eventually resolved, the process to get there wasn’t the best. I’m unsure if this was an employee purchasing drinks or another guest listening in and stealing our info. I was told there were camera recordings but didn’t hear the final outcome. When I told the manager this wasn’t our charge multiple times - I was not believed. Finally I decided to interrupt our trip off site and return to the hotel. We were told we didn’t need to do that but it seemed like it was the old way to prove that wasn’t my signature and prove what we looked like. This experience left us feeling unsafe at this location and unsure of the surrounding area. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

The property was well kept and staff was attentive and courteous. The only one thing and I realize they are trying to revitalize that area is that it didnt seem too safe for those places that were with in walking distance. Other than that one draw back all the things we were interested in were no more than a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

Pool is really small - lots of chlorine it was kind of itchy to me and I’m an avid pool lover! It was annoying to have to use your key to turn on the lights in the room. The key also had to be used to get in and out of the pool area. No free breakfast. They had a place to buy it but would have been a nice touch. They did have a bar there. Location was across from Baylor. If you needed to you could walk to get something to eat. There were homeless people walking around outside. Overall I would pick somewhere else to try if I came back.

We had a lovely time at the Aloft. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Waco. This hotel is close to Baylor and just a few blocks from the Silos. Also, great restaurants available.

The hotel itself was quite nice. The lobby area was a fun hangout place being so colourful and including a lot of fun stuff like a pool table, bar, and coffee/snack area. The staff was fantastic and so very friendly and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. The real issue was with the physical location of the hotel. During our stay, we could hear loud music from across the street well into the night, then were awoken at some point in the night to a number of police sirens and cars screeching in to the same area across the street. This did not inspire a feeling of safety, and I really needed a good nights sleep as we were driving all day the following morning. Maybe we were simply unlucky since it was just one night, but other reviews seem to chronicle a similar experience. Unfortunately I needed a room near the Magnolia Silos that I could afford and this was the only one available. Next time I come to Waco I would consider another hotel if it was available and affordable.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were extremely friendly. However, the streaming service on our tv didn’t work (even after they sent an engineer to fix it) and the hotel bar was out of most wines and the drafts weren’t working.

A different guest name on the tv welcome every day felt weird as if I were in wrong room. Soggy oatmeal with floating dry flakes - either cook it right or don’t offer. You’d be better off to hire a food trucker to run a taco bar and eliminate the rest of the menu. And make clear where to order. I’m fine with no room refresh but no expectations were set and the mix ( no bed making but new towels felt incomplete. Very kind, competent front desk, unfazed by guest group rush .

It is in a little bit of a run down part of Downtown Waco. You can see they are slowly renovating it. It felt very safe and I liked it because it is on the same side of the highway as all the Waco Silo and restaurants. It only takes 2 minutes to drive there and super easy to find all the cool restaurants and coffees shops around there. Very good staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was really good.
