The room no ventilation 2steps up to a rack to hang clothes on one cup for cup of tea. Only lift out of dark ages so we had to use steps lift you had to hold button in all the way had to ask for tv to be connected Cocktoach in Shower NOT SUITABLE FOR OLDER People SO DiSAPponinting And so expensive my husband had to go out side s o he could breathe in the middle of the night We are Pensioners went up for a party

What an exciting and magical place to stay. Facilities were excellent, especially the pool and the food opportunities and the staff (particularly Lia) were amazing. So looking forward to coming back next year.

The room was very dark surrounding area within the hotel confusing.Small plunge pool behind a screen.We found the hotel eerie.The room was clean had to have the light on during the day.Shared balcony with several rooms.

This hotel is unique. It is strangely integrated into a mall with restaurants a cinema and shops (although not all open as I went on a special day of celebration) The design is very interesting but not so easy to find your way. My only complaint is that in the room the wi-fi was not good. It might be that our room was very far from the reception desk. Even so we enjoyed being there

Was a great place to stay. Very central to the town centre but plenty of shopping and dining options literally outside the room door. Pool was little but did the job. Check in very smooth and staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The bed was comfortable and it was easy walking distance to cafes and beach. I like to have fresh air & ceiling fan but there's only air conditioning. I did ring before booking & was told there was rooms with ceiling fans.Ended up getting a room with a small window but it opened up to a shared balcony that is enclosed so no airflow. Can't leave balcony door open as anyone could walk in. Felt like I was sleeping in a tomb. Also no emergency exit plan on back of door only instructions in information booklet to go to carpark. It's like a rabbit warren & it would be helpful to know the safest, quickest way out. There was also cockroaches in the bathroom when I got up during the last night there to use the bathroom. 😱

The renovations/decor was fantastic. The room was large and overall pleasing. The shower taps need attention, the bed was very squeeky/noisey. The room appeared clean however my wife did get a small piece of glass in her foot.

It is very noisy until 9.30 pm due to restaurant hours, cockroaches around , not cleaned properly. At 9.45 they start playing warning signs to remind check out time which scared my young kids, never experienced somewhere else in Australia. Never recommend with young kids.

Very nice eclectic resort. Rooms very comfortable but not made up every day, towels changed 2nd daily which was fine, but I would have expected the beds to be made daily, not clean sheets but made up. We were there 6 nights and the stores within the resort only open Thursday, Friday , Saturday and Sunday, nice products but a little overpriced. No laundry available but laundromat not far away. Overall a nice place to stay, resort rules say no pets allowed but there were plenty upstairs in the accommodation area, obviously not patrolled! Would I stay there again? Probably the price was right and rooms comfortable.

The room was clean and beautifully appointed with plenty of room. The WIFI did not work. We stayed in a family room at the far end of the property. A staff member checked the connection and realised the room was out of range.

Whilst the overall location seems interesting, we had a terrible room. Easily the worst motel room I've experienced in the last 10-15 years. No water pressure, no hot water (just warm), seriously uncomfortable bedding, noisy internal room with frosted 'internal' windows. We looked in another room, and it seemed reasonable compared to ours.

I do enjoy the location and feel of this property. I was unsatisfied with our room (12) as the sheer curtains did nothing to block out the sensor lights that were activated many times thru the night and disturbed our sleep. Perhaps add a layer of block-out curtains? Apart from this, we had a lovely stay.

Staff were friendly and check in was smooth. Location is great, plenty of dining options and just just a short stroll to the beach/bay. Easy drive or a doable walk to other nearby beaches, shops and eateries. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The style of the building is really unique and it was a nice change to other accommodation we've stayed in. Would absolutely return.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort for the second time, having enjoyed our first visit about a year ago. Prior to our arrival, we called the front desk to confirm our reservation and let them know we would be arriving around 8:30 PM due to work commitments. The receptionist kindly instructed us to collect our key from the key safe outside. I also inquired about the possibility of a late checkout, given our late arrival, and was assured that we could stay in our room until 12 PM. However, to our surprise, shortly after 10 AM the following morning, a housekeeper entered our room without any prior notice, which was quite uncomfortable for both my partner and me. When we went down to check out, an older gentleman at the front desk apologized for the mix-up. He explained that we should have called ahead again to confirm our late checkout, as the key to our room was still on the desk. It seems there may have been some miscommunication during the shift change, leading to this oversight. Despite this hiccup, we still appreciate the resort’s beauty and amenities. We hope that better communication can be established at the front desk for future guests. Overall, we look forward to returning again and hope for a smoother experience next time!

Loved to stay at Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort! The Mediterranean-style vibe, friendly staff, and great location near the beach and cafes made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Great property, but wouldn't stay here again on my own. Very very poor lighting at night in the car park and walk ways making it difficult to find your room. Good venue for couples and groups but not females travelling alone.

Very unique and quirky accommodation. The family suite was comfortable and clean. Above a number of shops and restaurants meant it was a bit noisy at times but didnt bother us too much. Would visit again.
