Was really looking forward to a resort experience for the last long weekend of the summer but... Pros: 1) The rooms were modern, clean and had a cooktop and utensils (we did not use but its there). 2) Had golf carts which came frequent to bring you around and were the nicest people we've met there. Cons: 1) Food was far away from hotel and only 1 restaurant. When we went there in the evening for food, they said they were full and told us to eat off site...This is the first time i've ever heard of a "resort" that were not able to feed their guests. I thought stay and food were the absolute basics... They couldn't even offer take out. The resort is a 10min drive from nearest town for more food options, so its not exactly the most accessible. If I were the owners, I would just pop open a grill and start selling hot dogs and burgers for guests. I would not leave them hungry onsite. 2) there is a children's pool and an infinity pool. Unfortunately the children's pool was dirty with lots of debris, so no one was in it and all the kids went to the adults pool which made it more crowded.

Our check-in went smoothly, however, it would make it a big difference if we were welcomed warmly by the front desk. It was like I was in front of a kiosk and and the questions asked are programmed and no eye contact or warmth. However, the shuttle drivers and few people in the pool area were so welcoming and sweet.

We spent a weekend at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is new, with a beautiful restaurant and pool right nearby. There is also a second restaurant and pool on the rooftop, and what a surprise it was! It had a great vibe, two pools, and amazing surrounding views. We would definitely recommend staying here.
