Lovely little hotel! Very clean! Breakfast is amazing. The gentleman was very attentive and friendly. My only concern and it was very small. We called apart the parking. It would have been helpful to be told we needed a code to get on the street. There was quite a jam at the gate. Would recommend and would stay again!

This hotel was a gem. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, pretty and had very friendly staff. The size was smaller and gave a more personal experience. The breakfast was excellent and relaxing to enjoy in the open bar/patio area. The hotel was so close to the beach and shopping. It really couldn’t have been better and was a good value for the price.

Con: The parking situation was frustrating and inconvenient, as the hotel charged €10 per day for parking but required guests to park in front of other cars. Hôtel super propre et parfait! Le déjeuner est vraiment complet et excellent et le chef très attentionné. L’hôtel est petit et n’a que quelques chambres , ce qui fait qu’il n’y a pas toujours quelqu’un à la réception donc il y a de la gestion de stationnement à faire si vous avez une voiture. Mais c’est gerable!

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast

The staff was great! The location was very convient, set back 50m from the main strip which kept it quiet but also very assessable. The on sight restraunt was great for breakfast and the staff was excellent.

The lobby area and room were spotless. Everything looked newly renovated and the design was exceptional. The room was small but had a large and beautiful bathroom. We also appreciated having the small refrigerator. The only thing lacking for me was a kettle. The location was very quiet as we were in the back on the ground floor. The breakfast was by far the nicest experience and the best breakfast we have had at any hotel. The chef cooked it fresh and it included fresh squeezed juice,fresh fruit plate, yogurt, pastries, eggs, bacon, cheese and meat plate. Would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to return to Portimao

Absolutely beautiful hotel located within a 5 min walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We stayed in Room 7. The room was spacious and clean and had a huge balcony that we enjoyed after a day at the beach. The breakfast was incredible and Irina ensured that anything we needed was taken care of. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

The overall experience was great, staff was very nice and attentive, the room and the villa was very clean, the room was cleaned every day, breakfast was excellent, the only reason i give a 4 overall rating is because the insolation of the room was nonexistent, the noise from the above, or next room, or hallway was bad. Other than that everything was excellent.

Very well located and easy to getting around the city attractions , the staff was very friendly and polite. The bathroom sucks, even though it’s a new, the laid out is pretty bad, the toilet is almost jammed against the wall, there is no shower walls so the whole floor gets wet when showering making it very slippery and dangerous. The shower stalls is too far in front of the sink and you heat your feet when using the sink. Really bad design.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Mariazinha Charming Hotel in Portimão. Mohamed and the staff made us feel so welcome—truly gracious and lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and far beyond what we expected: fresh-squeezed orange juice, great coffee, charcuterie, yogurt with honey, eggs, and even gluten-free bread specially prepared for me once they learned about my intolerance. That kind of thoughtfulness meant so much. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and so close to all the fun and nightlife, yet still very quiet and private when you return to the hotel. We arrived with no expectations and left already dreaming about coming back. I highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portimão!

This place feels like a family run hotel. The design and finishes are well thought out, every room is different, and the staff of four(?) are vet friendly and helpful. The breakfast is incredible and it is located a half block off the tourist strip that leads to the beach. This is an amazing place to stay.

The staff was great! The location was very convient, set back 50m from the main strip which kept it quiet but also very assessable. The on sight restraunt was great for breakfast and the staff was excellent.

The hosts were warm and welcoming. Each morning you are served a fantastic breakfast of cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, crepes, breads and fruit. The rooms are clean and decorated beautifully. The proximity to the beach is very good and there are a variety of restaurants to chose from for dinner. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel located within a 5 min walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We stayed in Room 7. The room was spacious and clean and had a huge balcony that we enjoyed after a day at the beach. The breakfast was incredible and Irina ensured that anything we needed was taken care of. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great hotel, great location, lovely breakfast and very close to beach. No staff on site most of the time so have to call for anything, but staff were responsive and attentive when required. Rooms not soundproofed as it states on description, not an issue for me but noticeable for light sleepers

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Mariazinha Charming Hotel in Portimão. Mohamed and the staff made us feel so welcome—truly gracious and lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and far beyond what we expected: fresh-squeezed orange juice, great coffee, charcuterie, yogurt with honey, eggs, and even gluten-free bread specially prepared for me once they learned about my intolerance. That kind of thoughtfulness meant so much. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and so close to all the fun and nightlife, yet still very quiet and private when you return to the hotel. We arrived with no expectations and left already dreaming about coming back. I highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portimão!

Beautiful property and room! All four staff were wonderful as they played many roles to make this small hotel operate. Wish the hotel was located in a nicer, quieter, area. The thumping music from dance club down the street was heard until 3 a.m. first night and 6 a.m. the second night. This neighborhood is built for party crowd.

Con: The parking situation was frustrating and inconvenient, as the hotel charged €10 per day for parking but required guests to park in front of other cars. This meant frequently having to move your car to let others out, which detracted from the overall experience.

Also, a great base if you are doing day trips to other areas in Algarve, such as Albufieri and Lagos. The lobby area and room were spotless. Everything looked newly renovated and the design was exceptional. The room was small but had a large and beautiful bathroom. We also appreciated having the small refrigerator. The only thing lacking for me was a kettle. The location was very quiet as we were in the back on the ground floor. The breakfast was by far the nicest experience and the best breakfast we have had at any hotel. The chef cooked it fresh and it included fresh squeezed juice,fresh fruit plate, yogurt, pastries, eggs, bacon, cheese and meat plate. Would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to return to Portimao
