This Ibis is beside a Novotel and behind an Ibis Budget. The lobbies, bars restaurants & breakfast rooms are accessible to all. The neighbourhood is somewhat interesting, safe and quiet. Staff at our hotel were friendly and capable. Breakfast was good enough to carry us through the day. Rooms understandably have no coffee or tea service but otherwise met Ibis standards. Clean linens every day. Lobby was large & stylish. We slept well and didn't mind the walk to town but the tram and shopping are both nearby.

While the room was small for two adults and a dog, the staff and hotel setting made up for it. There is no minifridge or microwave in the room. There is a central microwave near the breakfast area. If you have something that needs to stay cold, like medicine you can leave it with the front desk. I liked that you had to use your room key to get up and down the elevator. There is alos a convient vending amchine in the lobby. This hotel is attached to a second hotel. Everyone was really friendly. The front desk gentleman had me sign up as a member of the hotel brand, then I was able to get early check-in and late check out for free. There is a center square, which stayed pretty empty, so we were able to walk our dog fairly easily. When the sun goes down it is pretty dark, but it was still safe, since this is Switzerland. If you are looking for a Finance Bro, this is the area for you. If you are looking for quiet this is also the area.

I like the location of it, in front of the square with other restaurants. Can park for a few, which was totally worth it, can also use the pool for a small surcharge for the day (it's connected to Novotel hotel and it's for the Novotel pool access and gym access). Not a fan of the breakfast here. Fine hotel.

friendly ,co-operative staff, checked us in very early in the day as the room was ready at no extra cost, comfortable modern room, dining facilities available ,microwave and kettle facility available near the reception,close to transport, over all definitely recommended to stay

Clean room, nice people. Close to public transportation so very easy to get into town (about a mile walk as well). The one thing I missed was having coffee in my room. But overall I would stay here again.

A lovely clean hotel with ample space in the room. Having just left Ibis Milan Centro which was hot and dirty it was a refreshing change. Great environmental ethos. Water in the room. Chargers for most electronics. Most appreciated. Very helpful staff. Arrived late and helped us get some food.

Amazing staff they were able to accommodate putting two reservations together so we could stay in the same room for our stay. Thank you so much. The area around the hotel feels safe but there’s not much to do other than to walk along the river, which is nice but not many restaurants. It is really nice to have a train stop behind the hotel that leads to downtown The first stay we stayed on a floor with some construction. It was quiet and clean, and we really liked having the USB plugs available.

Man merkt, dass das Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Auf den Zimmern sieht man eindeutig die Abnutzung. Insbesondere im Bad sind die sanitären Anlagen teilweise beschädigt (Duschkopf, Stange der Duschkopfhalterung, WC-Papier Halter). Es fehlt an Annehmlichkeiten wie einem Kühlschrank um Getränke zu kühlen.

The hotel is in a good area. I think that Ibis can be more attencious in his rooms. My room 202 the wet area at the bathroom was broken and old. The reception desk didn´t find our reservation. We wait more than 30 minutes to check in. So many things has to be revised.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Front desk- everything was super easy and quick. I am super deep sleeper soI was fine, but I have admit- the walls are rather thin and I could hear my neighbours. Hotel within easy walking distance from train/tram station.

Rooms and hotel in keeping with other Ibis hotels so clean, tidy and to a reasonably modern standard. Breakfast buffet very good and restaurant staff very friendly, Only downside was noise, the hotel is not on a particularly busy road, however the rooms are not well insulated and have no carpet so all noise above, especially chair movement, was heard and noisy throughout evening and early morning, housekeeping also tried every door at 8am one morning letting each door slam shut after opening so was constant door banging that morning, one day power tools started up in a room nearby, could do with better sound insulation. No kettle/hot drink facilities in room, had to ask for boiling water at the bar so couldn’t have a tea or coffee in my room, understand this in the nearby Ibis Budget but not this hotel.

I originally booked a standard room, but was pleasantly upgraded to a spacious family room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a window that provided good ventilation. Conveniently located - tram #4 will take you to the old town and the rest of Zurich and nearby train station (10 min walk) has trains going to ZRH airport every 30 min - which was one of the reasons we picked it. Hotel had everything that we needed, nothing fancy, everything clean and functional. Checkin line was surprisingly slow but that's minor.

Special shout-out to Carlito (receptionist) who was always helpful with a friendly smile. It was refreshing to see this kind of personality. Almirante (breakfast staff) also provided premiere service. She was super attentive to the guests” needs. She kept the breakfast area clean.

Il est impossible dans un pays d'origine trilingue d'avoir des réceptionnistes qui ne font aucun effort pour dire des mots en français. Nous sommes restés 1h15 à la réception pour dénouer un problème de location de deuxième chambre avec le sentiment de comprendre que cela est de notre faute. Avec l'arrivée du chef qui ne nous a même pas dit bonjour le problème a été résolu en 2MN Nous n'avons même pas eu de mot d'excuse Avec la queue qui se formait nous avons eu l'impression de ne pas être les seuls à avoir des problèmes Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre Séjour très décevant

We stayed for two nights in a twin room. On arrival the guy at reception was very friendly and spoke good English . The room was fine and the beds were very comfortable - shower was great . Breakfast was also good with plenty choice of hot/

A clean place to stay with decent breakfast in the morning. Better priced than many other options for a family in Zurich. Nothing much in location itself for a family but easy access to tram or train links, small coop nearby for snacks etc. There is a kettle near reception to use but would have liked a small kettle and tea/coffee in the room (as Brits we really missed this!).

I enjoy staying at ibis properties. This was a good location, away from the busy old town but easy to access by train, bus, or tram. We found several great wonderful coffee shops nearby as well as bars and restaurants. Go to Cream for coffee and breakfast - a quick walk. 10/10. Ibis has an ajoining hotel with restaurant and bar. BUT...go to Les Halles. Terrific bar and food. Ibis is good value overall.

Breakfast was very nice, the knsite restaurant offered a delicious menu, we ate there one night. Location is good, right on Tram 4, easy to get into the Old City and to trains and bus terminals for transfers and excursions. It is a simple room, clean but a bit of toucb up paint would go a long way to make it seem cleaners/fresh.
