Excellent location, short walk to downtown and just across the street from sunnega lift. They offer a shuttle to and from train station for luggage - just have to send a message or email to coordinate. Didn't have a chance to use the pool/spa area bc it closes early (8pm), would have been nice if it closed later (e.g. 9 or 10pm). Lovely breakfast spread.

Beautifully renovated. In the heart of Zermatt and walkable to everything. Truly has the Swiss mountain vibe with its decor. The spa is incredible with an awesome hot tub and pool. We took advantage of massages although options were limited as you could only book the one therapist who only did classic massage. The food was some of the best we had. Go see Allie in the bar. He was super nice and gave impeccable service. The only hiccup is that we pre- arranged shuttle pick up from the hotel for when we arrived and they did not show up. I had to make an expensive phone call to call them and have them send the shuttle after waiting around awhile. Other than that I would stay here again.

Het hotel is modern ingericht met grote kamers alsmede extra faciliteiten zoals een fitnessruimte en een spa. Het ontbijtbuffet is fantastisch met allerlei soorten yoghurt, ontbijtgranen, vers fruit, brood, kaasjes, vleeswaren en jams. Het personeel is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Helaas was het tijdens ons verblijf ontzettend warm in het hele hotel. Dat had niet onze voorkeur.

up to standard 4 full star hotel which is quite hard to find in Europe and its value for money with its full service and facilities in the hotel. Wide selection of breakfast, many different fruits, pastry and even rice! Free mini bar with softdrinks and beer and fruits too. complimentary shuttle on arrival and departure to the station, very efficient. the room is very new and clean. good restaurant and lounge. Offer cakes, coffee and tea during tea time for all hotel guests. very recommend and will stay there again.

The lady that checked us out, not so much..she wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem to want to be bothered.. the lady in the spa that did my massage and facial was wonderful and very personable. J’ai séjourné 3 nuits en août en chambre simple. Ma chambre était située au 4ieme étage. C’est petit mais bien quand même. C’est moderne et très propre. Il y a un mini frigo ainsi qu’une cafetière nepresso. L’air climatisé est vraiment froide et le contrôle est avec la télévision. Je n’avais de vue dd ma chambre par contre il y avait une lucarne au plafond et j’ai pu observer les étoiles le soir ! Le buffet est délicieux et varié. Le personnel est professionnel et accueillant. J’ai adoré le spa et la piscine, l’eau était fraîche et l’endroit très relaxant après une journée de randonnée. J’ai tout aimé de cet hôtel je recommande fortement!

One suggestion that I would like to make based on our experience, is the light switches in the room. One person is in the bathroom and another person turns off a lamp in the bedroom and the person in the bathroom is in the dark! We spent 2 days trying to figure it out, and we regard ourselves as reasonably intelligent people. The view was spectacular on the balcony! Location was perfect, away from noisy train station but close enough to walk there. The hotel offered transport to and from the train station.

Such a charming hotel and so close to the train station, shops, and restaurants. The staff took great care in setting up our room. We had a view of the Matterhorn and surrounding area. The rooms are very clean, have all what you need, even a tote and backpack to use! Staff is awesome! Will definitely stay here again!

What an incredible stay at the Wellness hotel. The Alpine Chic Room was wonderful, large, and the view of the Matterhorn was spectacular. The service was wonderful and the staff incredibly kind. The breakfast was a 10/10. We loved the central location of the hotel and the spa was amazing and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to others.

Got room 108 - like a basement absolutely no view to other than a dark backyard. No way to see to anything. Bering in Zermatt paying tons and getting the most terrible room ever was a disaster. No air no light the room is for storage. Also next to Spa so super humid. No way we will be back. Traveling 50 days a year for years- the disaster room.

Our balcony faced the duct work of the restaurant exhaust and the back of the train work shop they need to put something up to make it more aesthetically appealing. Eg. planter boxes to hide the duct work and a nice fence or hedges to hide the the unappealing train work shop.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a ski trip! The massage treatments in the spa were excellent. The front desk moved a bit slowly and the sauna/steam room options for adults were limited. Would still recommend!

A beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and service. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Zermatt. Staff were great, organised lift tickets for us no problems and were very informative when seeking information. Everything is so close, easy walking to most places in the village.

The hotel is very well located and has great facilities. Very good for me that was traveling alone. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant has good dishes. What I didn't like was the service provided by the waiter (an Indian, I don't know his name) both at dinner and breakfast. He was very rude and unfriendly. But what really made the difference in my four-night stay was the friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness of the bartender Ali. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Wellness Hotel Alpenhof while we were in Zermatt, Switzerland. The location of the hotel was very good, just a short walk to the train statin station, shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. Since we needed to check out at 5:45am to catch a 6:00am train they even had a bag of food for us to take with us. I would definitely stay here again

AMAZING! From the staff to the room and the food everything here is top notch! All staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a 5 star experience. Shout out to Alie the bartender! Such a great guy, and always smiling. Make sure you relax in the bar and have a chat with him. Great location with walking distance to everything or jump on the electric bikes that are provided and ride up all the trails around the area. Make sure to ride to the base of the Matterhorn. Our room had a view of the Matterhorn which was spectacular. Breakfast is delicious with so many options and dinner was wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend!

Before check-out, I'm really satisfied with whole 2-day journey in Zermatt (even the tv has some problem at 1st night). Perfect view of Matterhorn. When check-in, reception show me a paper which indicating that half-board is included. But we still need to pay the dinner at 2nd night within the daily menu. Unimaginable！ By the way, lamb is delicious in their bro hotel Julen~
