Bed and Breakfast Shandita

The place was lovely. Beautifully designed. Laurence was delightful. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to a visit to my wife's childhood home in Dordogne. Everything about our stay was above expectation. The room and bathroom was perfect comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Nothing was too much for our host Laurence breakfast was perfect. I can't say enough good things about our stay other than I wanted to stay longer. Merci Laurence pour votre service

The host is really nice and the room is quite clean and stylish. We booked a family room and it’s actually quite big. The breakfast is also very nice.

From the warm welcome on arrival to the warm goodbye our stay was wonderful. Our room was thankfully air conditioned as the temperature topped 40 degrees while we were there. The accommodation was first class and felt like home after 2 nights and very peaceful and quiet. We were within walking distance of the tram, which was inexpensive, so used that to travel into Bordeaux. Walking back late at night felt safe. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, who made us a very tasty breakfast each morning outside on the covered terrace overlooking the gorgeous garden. I wish we had been staying longer, we loved every minute. I recommend this accommodation very highly.

Initial impression down an ordinary street in a built up suburb was not great, but once inside the quirky, bohemian accommodation we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and Laurence, our host, was very friendly. She gave us recommendations for dinner and tips on getting into Bordeaux via tram. Breakfast was delicious and Laurence chatted easily with us.
