There is no onsite parking except for the valet, which charged a day fee and a night fee. The elevator broke for part of the stay so stairs were the only option. If you ordered food through a delivery service, they would make them leave food at the front desk and make you come down for it

Firstly, the listing for the property states that valet parking is optional but once you get to the property, they let you know that it doesn’t matter if you park it or they park it, you get charged 35 a night and 10 a day. So it’s not valet, it’s paid to park and it’s not optional, it’s mandatory. The valet also creates a huge issue in the evenings and creates a traffic jam on the street. We had to wait about 30 min to enter the parking lot because there were about 10 cars confused about the mandatory valet/self parking situation too. They need to get away with this at this location, it was the first time I’ve had to pay to park at a tru. I also think I heard the valet dude call me a b word for letting him know that I stay in this area often and two of the hotels across the street don’t charge for parking. He was comparing the parking situation to the Anatole that also charges 300 a night. lol. It’s also very loud. I noticed they read reviews and try to help with the noise by adding ear plugs in the room but they don’t care to fix the ridiculous, dishonest parking situation. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. We checked out a day early and was told we would still be charged for the daily parking even though we weren’t there the entire day. Wild.

The staff, amenities, and breakfast were wonderful, however our trip was overshadowed by a frustrating event. The rooftop bar “The monkey bar” is rowdy, and ridiculously busy. When we returned from our dinner we were informed that the manager said there is no parking available for hotel guests because the bar/valet was full. The employees did their best to get us parked after some time, but it was a very frustrating situation. Our parking fee was thankfully waived but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone due to that bar. The crowds were very drunk, loud, and reeked of marijuana. The manager refused to show up to assist with the issue, and refused to take calls. Minus the very large parking and bar issue, we had a decent time. The room was clean and nice, the staff was beyond excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. It’s the nights that leave you wishing you booked somewhere else.

Only one elevator works, the description start states a roof top but that’s unavailable, can only valet park your vehicles ($35 each night) and you find out at the hotel after it’s been booked. Overall I had a nice view, it was clean, and beds were comfy.

Love the hotel but won’t reserve here anymore due to the extra $35 a day for valet parking that’s required. The parking lot was empty, why valet???

Bar on top of the hotel was causing nightmare issues for parking, elevator, checking, etc

Great place…however the roof top bar ends up being an issue….they care more about valeting the bar customers than they do about letting the people who stay there have priority to get in the parking lot..we waited 30 min before I had to go address the valet person that we needed to get to our room…also 2 elevators is not enough with the bar issue and the hotel patrons…waited 20 min at a time for the elevator to come down just to step in sticky spilled drinks and deal with drunk bar goers…

The hotel was under construction and only the bottom floors were functional. The elevators did not work, the roof top bar and amenities were closed. Basically the whole vibe of the hotel was not there.

The rooftop bar was closed for the weekend due to other events. There should have been time set aside for hotel guests. One of the elevators did not work, so the wait time was lengthy at times. There should be a space/lot for free parking.

Only one elevator worked SOME of the time. I am 69 with a lot of luggage and I got stuck on 9th floor. I will never stay here again. Front desk said tgat the second elevatir hD been out of order for MONTHS. Cmon Hilton you can do better.

Friendly and clean

Clean rooms and decent food. There was not too much to walk to in the area. Friendly staff. Good for the price.

Room was very dirty. My matress and under sheet were brown. And room had loads of stains and dirt. I knew that elevators wont work, but i didint know that i must request cleninf if i want to have one, because they dont clean the rooms every day because of the elevators. When i asked about it lady at the reseption said that its read in the batrhoom sign. Well i had no any instruction in the room or in the bathroom. Also lights didint work at the hall way. Room was very loud because of the busy road. In the room was sing that ”we offer you complimentary ear plugs” - didint have those either. When I told about issues in text message (they sended me a message where they asked about my stay), I didnt got any response.

Mediocre at best. Condition for a Hilton seemed subpar. Breakfast was below average. Bed was hard. Tile floors dirty. Just blah all around. Def bot worth 225 a night. Maybe 125!

We had a great experience with the staff. Our room conditions were great clean rooms and a nice bathroom. Be early if you want breakfast because they run out fast!

Staff were wonderful BUT the first room (202) smelled like urine, I was then switched immediately to 302 which smelled like urine and bathroom sink was clogged. I reported it and no follow up. When I inquired about it on the second day I was switched as they didn't have maintenance working at 5pm on a Sunday. My last room was great ...no urine smell and sink worked!!!

The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly, but the bed was broken and made a noise every time you moved. The hallway smelled like a toilet bowl, and the bathtub had water accumulating and wouldn't drain Other then that everything else was good .

The bathroom was in terrible condition! Not clean and old the shower door was yellow for the dirty! Super disappointed ..

They gave me a dirty room. They changed me to another room but it was not a good experience.

The hotel was nice. However, the room was small. I cannot say for certain that I would stay here again in the future.

The property was fine, it is surrounded by traffic and they do provide ear plugs and a noise machine but it's not ideal. The rooftop was not open when we visited.

The Hotel is in a good location and has a nice Lobby with a pool table and nice place to hang out. Place is clean, the only issue I had was the water in the shower was lukewarm and did not get hot. Also it is close to a main freeway and is a little loud.

For a Hilton chain hotel, I was not surprised at the high quality of the property. Clean, well maintained, comfortable, and amenities present. The front desk staff (evening shift) were excellent to a fault, super friendly and welcoming. I dare say I've never been welcomed more honestly. My issue? Noise. The property is about 30 yards from 10 lanes of Dallas traffic. The Friday night we stayed there, the racing amateurs of Dallas spent from dark until midnight running at insane speeds down the freeway, with attendant high decibel open exhausts and high performance engine sounds. I should have known something was afoot when the welcome card at the bedside table offered complimentary earplugs, and there was a white noise machine there as well. I know full well Hilton cannot simply move the hotel back a block or two, but if you sleep light, understand that (probably) depending on the day, you will NOT get much rest. This is the ONLY reason I'm giving this property a three star rating. I did highly approve of the pool table in the lobby, along with the abundant comfortable seating areas and the stash of board games available. The decor leaned toward Coffee House Chic, but it was cheerful and comfortable downstairs and up.

Valet and elevators were very busy with the bar open, but manageable. My room (502..i think) was quiet, but did not have blackout curtains installed, and I would have preferred to have those installed. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

My stay at Tru Hilton Dallas Market Center was good overall, but I did run into a couple of frustrations that made the experience less comfortable than I had hoped. The biggest issue was the bed — it was extremely firm, almost like lying on a wooden board, which made it very hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The pillows didn’t help either, as they were completely flat and lacked any support or fluff. A hotel stay should feel restful, but unfortunately, the bedding made it difficult. Parking was also a challenge. Even though I had a guest parking pass, valet cars were often blocking access to the guest parking area. More than once I was asked to move my car, but I couldn’t because valet vehicles were in the way. It felt like guests with parking passes didn’t really have priority, which made coming and going unnecessarily stressful. That said, the hotel itself was clean and welcoming, and the staff I interacted with were polite and helpful. With improvements to the beds, pillows, and parking setup, this could easily be a much smoother and more comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is located next to the freeway and can be heard all night. I realize that ear plugs and a white noise box were provided however it is time the hotel invest in insulation and new windows.

Very nice hotel. I traveled alone for business and didn’t feel unsafe. Parking is $15 a day, which i think is a little inconvenient. There is also a bar? Upstairs so there is valet for that. So parking can be a bit of an issue as it’s not a huge parking lot. Staff are Really nice here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but appreciated. Loved that there is coffee and tea in the lobby all day. Would be nice to have a microwave in the rooms. You have to go downstairs to warm up leftovers or anything. Hard when you are extremely tired. The hotel is next to the highway FYI. They do provide ear plugs which is a nice touch. For me, it was hard to sleep.

Room was clean. Front desk was clerks were phenomenal! So kind and friendly.

The property is in a convenient location and overall met our needs. We had a reservation, but upon arriving late in the evening, we were told there were no available rooms. The staff initially planned to walk us to another hotel, but after waiting for over an hour, we were informed that there was a room available. We’re not sure what happened, but it was a tiring experience, especially with a child and a baby. That said, the room itself was decent and clean, though the AC was a bit loud. We had previously stayed at a Tru and had a good experience but this one disappointed us.

Walked in and there were 3 employees at the counter. Noone spoke or acknowledged that my family and i were there, and 2 of the employees started to walk away from the desk, so i said “hello! How are yall? We are ready to check in” in a jovial manner. The short guy immediately got an attitude and i tried to laugh it off. As we were checking in and attempting to present ids and pay, he was very defensive, not polite or pleasant in any way, and threatened numerous times to cancel the reservation. It was late, after 10 pm, i had worked 13+ hours, was exhausted, physically worn out, and was not up for a rude clerk. We try to stay in tru hotels bc of the fun atmosphere with the pool tables and inviting lounge, so i was doing everything I could to avoid a confrontation. I was asked for payment, and slid my card. The clerk asked to “validate” the card, so i held it out for him to take. He glanced at it and looked back down. I asked if he was done so i could put the card away. He said he was. I asked if he had “validated” the card. I was confused by his request and wanted to understand what he was asking for. I asked if he only needed to see the card. In my experience, “validation “ would require entering a card number into a system or calling a bank. I stated “if you only needed to see the card you could just say that for clarification” and the clerk threatened again to cancel the reservation. I explained that i was only trying to understand his request. He continued to threaten tbc

Shoutout to Liz and Sharon at the front desk they are super awesome, friendly, and helpful! The hotel was amazing and I recommend it! Breakfast was tasty, staff was great, the lobby was full of fun stuff to do and homely!

I booked a room for 2 nights, was expected to get in late on the first night and then my flight was messed up and i didnt get in before their 12:30am check in cut off. I knew i wouldnt be there before this time so i tried to call to let them know. Tried calling for over a span of 6 hours only to get a busy signal. Finally get in the next morning to try to check in and they canceled my reservation for a no show. So then the front desk clerk tells me to have expedia to call them and theyll submit a refund and had to find another hotel. Took expedia DAYS to get thru their busy signal and constant hang ups just to tell them they will not refund me because i was a no show. I will not recommend this hotel and don't think i will be booking through expedia again either for not seeing through the issue and just accepting the hotels policy even though they made it impossible to change or contact them. Very unhappy.

The staff were all so AMAZING

We received a text from the hotel asking if we needed anything and we told them we needed another pillow. They said sure, come to the desk and grab it, but we are so tired we just didn't go down. They ended up bringing us one around 10 pm. We REALLY appreciated that service!!

Great front desk ladies, super helpful and friendly!!

Requested early check in. Employee agreed to have room ready. Showed up, employee was sleeping in the lobby. She walked to the desk and went to sleep there while a man stood watch for her. Sat in the lobby for 6 hours before we just ended up leaving to a different hotel. Saying they were short staffed as the reason check in was pushed back hours.

Very clean. No parking other than valet parking which is $35/night. Homeless across the street under the bridge but the hotel takes many safety precautions which was very nice.

Hotel location is about 10 minutes from the convention center. Hotel is located along a very busy highway.

My boyfriend and I visited Dallas to attend a concert at the American Airlines Center (AAC) and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is within a walkable distance to the AAC and other locations downtown if you don’t want to drive or get an Uber/Lyft. Our room was clean and we didn’t have any issues with it. The hotel itself, incredible! Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, good rooms. The downsides were loud against the highway, but a fan/white noise machine and ear plugs are in the room. Then it's NOT close to the market center train, 15-20min walk around the buildings. There's not a cut through. So you're walking over a mile. I'd stay here again due to the price and overall proximity to downtown, but limited transportation and homeless encampments under the bridges nearby.

Our overall stay was amazing but it was definitely noisy being right by the interstate.

Nice and quiet, practically next door to Medieval Times. Will definitely stay there again should the need arise!

Our Go To Hotel when in Dallas. Conveniently located. Soon to have Restaurant and Bar Reopened on top floor.

Overall, enjoyed our stay at the Tru! It was safe, I wouldn’t say quiet because we were right by the interstate, but also safe. A key card was required to access the elevator and the amenities were up to standards. They served breakfast from 6am-9am every morning and had some good coffee 24/7! Front desk staff were always polite and easy to work with!

THe hotel was nice, roof top view from the bar was beautiful. The bar tender was not very nice, borderline rude, and she had zero customers, she seemed inconvenienced that we were there, she barely took our order, no kindness in her words, not even a smile. If you want a down town view make sure to ask for it though or else you’ll get the shell station lol. Didn’t think about that when booking. 35.00 to valet park which is not optional-they could never seem to find my keys then on checkout they could not find my keys, come to find out they were in my pathfinder, unlocked car, lights still on from the previous night. Talked to manager who was very nice and I asked for refund of my 35.00 and he gave it to me with no questions. . It was quick to get to American Airlines center for the concert though! Breakfast also has bad service, supposed to be pancake breakfast but no batter in machines, unstocked, workers helping but maybe under staffed? Lots of people in room for breakfast to not keep it stocked.

This hotel is apparently out of everything! My wife spilt some Gatorade on the blanket and it bled through. No biggie, I’ll goto the front office for a new one. They say they’re out and room service didn’t clean any, I asked for sheets they’re out, I even asked for towels… they are out. I’m afraid to ask for toilet paper. I read other reviews and it looks like the general manager only reads half way and doesn’t actually care for the customer. One elevator? That’s a joke. No clean anything? That’s a joke. Maybe they need to fire the whole staff and start anew. I will not stay here and will recommend my friends to go somewhere else as well. Hilton needs to drop the book on this location.

The only thing was completely out of their hands were my room wasn't ready at check in until 4pm. As we had storms with many DFW residents without power. So the place was booked every day and night. The rooftop bar had a private party going on, so we didn't get to the rooftop lounge area for pics. Overall loved it. The breakfast sucked, uncooked bacon and egg whites a ZERO.
