I had a great stay here. The location is great and within walking distance to lots of local craft breweries and restaurants. Also an Uber from here to the downtown area is only around 10 minutes. I stayed here with a friend and we attended a bunch of sporting events and found this to be a great spot to stay. The condo has a stove, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer so you can save some money cooking for yourself instead of eating out every meal. It was very quiet and we had great sleeps. I also really liked the gym here as it was bigger than I expected and usually not busy at all. It is also open 24 hours with your key fob which I found very convenient. There is also a pool on the property if you want to do some relaxing. I needed some more coffee and tide pods near the end of the week and Sonder staff was quick to answer back via text and fulfill my requests. If you’re staying in PHX for a week I’d highly recommend staying here over a hotel! It was a great experience across the board.

Booked this specific Sonder for heated pool However it was not heated and we couldn’t use our fob to access the joining building with the hot tub. Chat on the app was inconsistent we’re home form our trip and still waiting to hear why the heater wasn’t working or how to get our fob to work for the hot tub space.

The Sonder rental unit we stayed in was a comfortable efficiency apartment in an apartment building with mostly rented residential units. Perfect for our needs for 4 days in Phoenix. Within walking distance of Roosevelt Arts District restaurants (15 mins.) and even downtown/convention center (30 mins.) We also enjoyed the 2nd floor outdoor lounge one nice evening. Only complaint about our unit was the bathroom sink drained very slowly. Otherwise everything was great. Also took about 10 minutes to download the parking app for the garage. But enjoyed the in/out privilege and convenience.

Excellent downtown location for our visit to a museum, musical theater and food tour. FYI, you will need Google home app to connect to TV. We enjoyed on-site pool and a billiards table, so overall a very enjoyable stay.

It was great to have access to a pool, lounges, and in-unit washer/dryer. Clean apartment, however, for three adults, there was not nearly enough seating. Only two chairs and a small couch.

Upscale comfortable property with outdoor lounge overlooking the park and a lovely swimming pool area.

We loved the pool area and the lounges on the first level. Very nice. We had a little hard time finding the main entrance at first but overall a very easy process.

Parking is a nightmare, they sell you parking pass & there are very limited amount of spots shared by the building. We rented a car since the property offered parking, ended up using Uber often and leaving the car as there isn’t much street parking as a backup. The unit was ok, bare bones furniture. Not even a dresser to put things in. It was clean but the fact the walls, trim, floors…. Are so dingy and dinged up it made it feel not so clean. Washer dryer major mildew smell. They gave us 3 towels for 3 people, we could have requested more, why should we need to? Yes there is a washer and yes we did wash and reuse and that’s ok- but I think pretty basic common sense to at least have a couple extras. I think a lot of people use 2 one for the body & one for hair. The mattress was a rock, not even exaggerating a little. It didn’t indent when your body lay down, so uncomfortable we almost left to find a hotel to sleep in. I ended up asking for anything, blankets or anything we could lay down for comfort, they sent another blanket, 1 blanket, there were no extra blankets in the unit at all. We actually ran into the person delivering the blanket to us ,on the elevator. It was nearly dragging the floor he was just carrying it in a bundle and it didn’t feel clean. We still used it, we were desperate for sleep, it was not even slightly better. The caulk and trim in the kitchen was split and looked dirty , barstools didn’t fit. Location was decent getting to food and downtown

Lovely place close driving distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The fridge was really noisy during the whole stay. Good pool and common area with ping pong table. Gym was really good Car park was easy to access and pay for Overall happy as

This is my 4th time staying with Sonder (3rd at this property) and the contrast with the previous stays was surprising. The unit itself was clean but the walls were extremely scuffed and shaby looking, really needed a fresh coast of paint. The kitchen stool cushions were also stained/food residue. The common hallways smelled like garbage. Though not immediately apparent, throughout our 3 nights we noticed an increasing cigarette smoke smell, particularly in the bathroom when the vent was on. Lastly, we'd planned to use the pool during our stay but found it very unclean looking with a lot of debris. There's been a sharp decline in the upkeep of this property, it's very disappointing as it previously was a favorite location.

Dirty! Blood stains on the shower curtain, floor and grout. Broken glass in the cupboard. Dirty dishes that has sticky stuff all over them. Thick black dust on the fan over the bed. Walls covered in black marks and dirt. Had to wash the bed linens and towels right away from the smell. Fridge was not dispensing ice (it was broken). White stains on the sofa. This was a very dirty room and not what I expect from Sonder.

Place felt overall dirty. Carpet and floors were filthy. My feet and socks were dirty instantly. Coffee maker didn't work right. Didn't bother to try any other appliances. Overall a very dirty feeling place

Really enjoyed staying at this location! Building was clean and safe, room was clean, great options for sitting outside and walkable distance to downtown shops and restaurants. More inside signs leading to the Sonder rooms would improve the stay, as the halls all look the same and can be confusing. Overall great place to stay

The apartment was clean and well equipped for my husband and I. The only issue was the bed was really hard. Everything else was great! The building was clean and well maintained. It was centrally located but the sound of the highway was loud all day and night. Parking is limited so I recommend buying a parking pass when you book. Communication was great! Thank you for a nice stay!

We stayed here for a conference and had pretty easy access the entire time. Had an issue with one of the keys and used the chat system, was rectified immediately. Place is very clean.

Hallways hadn’t been vacuumed for quite some time. Couch and chair in sitting area looked like they just returned from the thrift store. Dirt stains and a lot of wear. Had to put a sheet down before sitting in them. Walls had scuff marks and shoe prints all over them. You can only watch tv if you hook up your own device to the tv. Instructions were very specific. For those who leave low marks because they couldn’t get into their unit or car was towed, don’t read instructions. They were very thorough. The area leaves a little to be desired. What looks like an abandoned church with a big BLM sign right across the street and some vacant lots.

The rug in the living area was thread barren and had a large stain on it. It was difficult for two people to access the queen bed, as one side of the bed was against the wall. Clean other than the rug. The courtyard was nice, but it smelled of cigarette and weed smoke, so this was not a place I wished to enjoy in the evening.

We were moved to a new room due to the carpet being extremely filthy and stained. The second room also had lots of stains. The walls were pretty dirty and a splash like stain on the ceiling. The bed was not comfortable at all. A little too firm. This is second time staying a a Sonder site and fo plan on visiting different locations, however, hoping to have a more pleasant experience.

Unit was clean but on bottom interior of 5 story complex so natural light was non existent. No hangers for clothes nor dresser for unpacking. Requested hangers, which were told would be sent over but were not delivered.

The property is very nice, and char support was immediate. But my god was the bed uncomfortable—all the pillows were overstuffed in the worst way, and the mattress was like a slab of cement. My partner actually prefers a firm mattress and even he didn’t sleep well here.

If you are like me and want a dark room to sleep in, this is not the place for you. There is no door on the bedroom, so every led light from the kitchen appliances light up the room. Also the livingroom windows have shutters, so there is a lot of light coming in there too. There were earplugs on the might stand and I know why. There was noise from above and the refrigerator was extremely noisy. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful, I think they were “my pillows”. Overall, the location was good and the room was ok.

The room was comfortable and suited all needs. Check in was impersonal and confusing as my email said lockbox 5473 and there were only lockboxes numbered 1-32. So I called the number, randomly tried #3 with that code. Parking took forever and was a pain as well. So is chrome tv.

Convenient location, comfortable and spacious. Love that it is not just a hotel room.

I wish that it was more clear on Expedia and the Sonder website that this is not a hotel with a sign, lobby, and concierge to check you in. I was here to visit my father in ICU down the street, so I was not in the mental space to do a scavenger hunt to find this place that had no sign to indicate it was Sonder, then go through my email a bunch of times to find codes to get keys from secret lockers, to find my room. I was trying to quickly drop my stuff off and run to the hospital, and instead had several panic attacks because I didn’t know how to get in. Once in, it was clean and nice looking, but all drained were clogged, and the bed was hard, and it was cold at night and I needed an extra blanket that was not offered in the room. After a long day at the hospital, I wanted to be able to sleep in comfort, but it was unfortunately 5 restless, mostly sleepless nights on a hard bed placed on ikea type wood slats. They don’t even have cable t.v. You have to stream something. That’s fine I guess if you have the mind to do so, but when you’re exhausted from worry like I was, you just want to flip something on. Anything. You don’t have the energy to look for something to stream. And if your use to falling asleep watching t.v, your out of luck because there is no t.v in the bedroom I was in.

The space was great, clean, and spacious. The bed was comfortable, provided enough coffee, soap, detergent, etc. for our entire stay. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Store was close by so we stopped there a few times for breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Easy to get to downtown and around the Phoenix area and parking was easy (recommend not prepaying, just pay when you get there and have your car’s info). Also the lounges were great, especially if you had a bigger group. The one on the second floor had an ice machine which was helpful while our freezer was making ice. Sofa bed was also comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils and plates/cups, but only one frying pan. Check-in is easy, fob was in the locker and other two were in the apartment. Yes, you can hear the person above walking around but it was quiet at night. Also you can sometimes smell the trash shoot in the hallway but that is just part of apartment life. Only compliant is the chairs/stools were too high, it should have counter height ones, so we mostly stood to eat. Also the bathroom is in the main bedroom so it was kind of awkward when my friend stayed out on the sofa bed and had to come into the room to go to the bathroom. But overall, I recommend the place and all its amenities and ability to cook your own food, make your own drinks, strong wifi and you can easily stream to chromecast for shows/movies. Also the customer support in the app is super responsive if you have questions.

Clean but a nightmare to get to the locker box, the phone service is very poor and was not easy to get follow the indications to get in and in the unit assigned. The shower faucet was stuck. I will not stay again and prefer a hotel next time, cheaper and more convenient.

We stayed for 2 nights, and it was fabulous. The location can’t be beat! We did a haunted walking tour and went to chase field for Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day concert and we were very close to both. The check in and out process is perfect. Will definitely stay again

I paid to have early check in and when I arrived, (only 45 mins) prior to original check in, no key fobs were in the locker. I had to call and the person there was not available and so I had to go to a different locker. So I did not get in early and then no additional communication as to how to return the key fob so I was not charged…I had to follow up.

The 1bedroom we stayed at was quite dated. Carpet not clean, the shower drains very slowly and without handle. So for any elderly traveling, this may not be the place to choose. Not sure why it had such high rating before. One good thing about it is the communication was excellent on the app. Once I told them items not working, they immediately sent over people to fix, and even moved us to another location.

We really like Sonder’s approach. Our room was excellent but bed couple have been more comfortable. Different check in process than we are used to, but once we found the lockers, it was smooth sailing. I didn’t remember the Locker password, so returning the key fobs were problematic the morning we left. Thankfully, I called the number posted at 4am ( we had a long drive) and I was connected to a real person who helped us get back into our locker to return our key fobs. Price was excellent and I recommend it. Overall, we’d stay at another Sonder.

This was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had in my 46 years of life. The people were the rudest and manipulative in ever conversation I had with them. I was forced to sit outside in the Arizona blistering Heat for over 15 hours. Never got an access code to get in. I hate Sonders properties and will NEVER RETURN AGAIN

My room was not coded properly. My code did not work. There was no local assistance. The phone took me to someone far away who could not help me. I had to get another hotel room for my first night. The next day, it took two more phone calls over two hours before a person arrived and solved the problem in 5 min.

Once we figured out how to use the app and get it things went fairly smooth until check out. I checked out before dropping the keys so lost the code and had to call. After a long convo and a lot of questions from someone overseas they provided the code so we could leave.

I was not provided the key fob to enter the building . I was stuck outside in the heat of 112 for an hour trying to get a hold of someone to help. Finally someone opened the door for me on the third floor. Called was on hold for 43 minutes to try to get someone to bring me the extra key fob. Went out came back at 2am of course no communication no key fob was locked outside for over an hour.

I feel like I Live in Phoenix and that my apartment full of everything what I need for good living even for week. Out of room good relaxation in barbeque area and swimming pool. Location is good. Walking distance to downtown, museums, restaurants. Nice vacation.
