Third time we’ve stayed at Quincy’s and as usual the rooms were excellent. The welcome was friendly and we were met with a complimentary bottle of wine, due to our Hotels.com booking. There was an issue with the lifts on the Friday and Saturday of our stay, with one lift being out of action meaning waiting times to head up or down were longer than usual. What made these times worse was the constant use of the lifts by staff to travel one or two floors. Crazy that staff weren’t directed to walk between floors, which in turn lessens the waiting time for guests and enhances their experience. We also visited the rooftop bar on this stay, and, it obviously caters to a different demographic than my wife and I. We’ll give it a miss next time. And there will be a next time as aside from a few minor distractions on this trip, Quincy’s is a great place to stay. Comfortable with great access to most Melbourne attractions.

Hotel was nice but we booked a queen room that stayed it had a city view, we were on level 4 of 28 and could see flinders lane…. Also their parking isn't onsite secured as stated which we found out. It’s up the road and assoscitaed but fully accessible to the public. The room itself was nice the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing.

My second time here. Delightful interior decor that is clean, and great blockout features, perfect for those who need darkness to sleep. It’s very close to southern cross station and walkable about a slow 10 minutes to the shopping area. I really enjoyed the heated pool because it was heated so well that the warm pool felt like stepping into a warm bath. I also enjoyed the Q rooftop bar which had a nice view of the city. Will stay again for its design, value for money and convenience. If you are Asian, gotta try the breakfast at Salted Egg!

Easy booking in and friendly staff. Didn’t use it but the pool looked good and nice warm temperature. Gym was basic but you had what you need if keen. Well positioned to city attractions, public transport and Southbank.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my sister. It was not a 4star experience. The rug in our room was full of crumbs and fluff. Didn't improve through our stay. Cups and glasses not rinsed or cleaned. Tea and coffee not replenished,and no decaf. Beds were singles quite narrow vrey soft. Had to remake them each day. Floor had deep gouges over an area of 1m.

Firat off, the location is great and central. Very close and walking distance to main attractions. The restaurant Salted Egg is also great for breakfast. The Asian fusion/influenced dishes were yummy. However. I complained about my room being dusty which made me sneeze a lot whenever I was in the room and was promised the room would be dusted when we were out, this didn't happen. The cups, teaspoons and anything that was out was dusty. One of the teaspoons had what looked like chocolate streaks on it, which was disgusting. That showed me that the cleaning crew was not thorough. Pretty much only made up the bed and change the towels. Used the teapot and this wasn't cleaned either. Came back the next day with the used teabag still in the teapot. Felt a bit cheated when I ordered Aperol Spritz at the rooftop bar Q. Saw the bartender with my own eyes poured soda water instead of prosecco for my drink. Not impressed. And I had to ask for the complimentary bottle of wine which was included in my booking. Again, not impressed.

The room was dirty with nail clippings on the floor, a safety pin sticking up from the carpet, what looked like dried blood on the quilt, dusty curtains, hair on the furniture. The bed was uncomfortable and the walls would shake whenever a neighbouring door was closed.

Room not ready when arrived. Not a problem with that as we were early. But when came back after check in time virtually asked to do check in again. Nice room but bathroom could use some TLC. Mould in shower along seals and lots grout in shower. Sink was very grotty also. Tap too large in sink also making space to clean teeth difficult. Could also do with some Australian based snacks in room to purchase as all seemed Asian based.

Pretty decent boutique hotel experience. Location is generally convenient, if not in the centre of the main attractions. Close to Southern Cross Station. It’s noisy, being on busy King St opposite the strip joints. Could hear traffic and people screaming on the street even from floor 21. Being a Fri and Sat night didn’t help. Rooms are pretty nice and have a modern feel, if some odd design choices — the hand basin is way too small and oddly located, making it awkward to use (unnecessarily so as there’s plenty of space in the bathroom). Rooftop bar is pretty funky, with a decent view. Bring a torch, it’s dark. Ultimately I had a good stay but didn’t sleep well enough to justify another stay.

Having in room air conditioning that is capped at 25 degrees in a Melbourne winter isn't great. There is the option to physically go to reception and ask for your room aircon to be turned up by them, but I opted to just keep my coat on!

The Quincy was a good basic hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. Whilst the room and bathroom were on the small size it was adequate for an overnight stay The staff were all very friendly and helpful The only downside was the noise from the nightclubs on King street as we were on the 6th floor, maybe higher floors don’t have this issue?

Room was nice albeit compact, check in was pleasant and staff lovely. The problem this hotel has is that if you’re in a room facing the streets below, you’ll hear a lot of noise. The strangest thing however is that I found it was quite hot in the room and this left me unable to sleep. I tried to alter the air conditioning but nothing I did worked. In the end I had to call reception to ask them how to use the air conditioning but for some bizarre reason, it’s locked and only the reception can set the temperature. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t trust you with setting the temperature in your room yourself. As a result I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or entertain coming back.

Not at all sound proof - we stayed on level 19 & could hear a lot of street noise all night. Parking was $35 via hotel 'discount' but would have only been $20 if we'd paid at the parking lot

Second time staying at the Quincy and honestly… she still slays. Perfect location — a super quick stroll from Spencer Street Station and an easy wander to Southbank for food, vibes, and a little cute-person-watching. Staff? Lovely. Rooms? Clean, well-designed, surprisingly spacious, and stocked with all the good amenities. And the place is quiet — like, “sleep like a log after a Melbourne feast” quiet. Would I return? Absolutely. Already planning Stay #3.

We were so very excited for our mummy-daughter city stay but this hotel is not very family friendly unfortunately. The pool is very small and technicaly open/outside so the air has the same temperatures than outside which for us was about 8 degrees. The breakfast has no pancakes or waffles even though the marketing in foyer and elevator shows waffles when advertising their breakfast buffet. I mean how hard can it be?! In general breakfast buffet is small, the options very limited and the staff got my eggs order wrong and were just standing around in a group chatting for 30 minutes instead of clearing our plates. When asking reception for anything at all, it seemed too hard. Everyone always just seemed annoyed or maybe didnt understand me.

Location & room was lovely. Staff at front desk helpful. The breakfast staff weren’t super nice, there was one guy (I wish I’d gotten his name) but he was Australian and he was so helpful. There was a girl (with septum piercing) who was super unhelpful and rude, couldn’t crack a smile if she tried. So don’t really recommend getting the breakfast buffet. VIP stay inclusions (bottle wine) not provided.

Location was very good for the Marvel Stadium. The rooms were nice and modern and clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a mini bar which was welcomed as many hotels have removed them which is annoying. The rooftop bar is a great facility with terrible service and it tainted our stay enormously.

Check in was unnecessarily stressful. I had forwarded the confirmation email to my husband as I was not able to be there at check in. One male staff member was incredibly helpful, confirmed that with that email my husband would be able to check in with his ID and directed him where to park. My husband returned from parking the car and was told by a female staff member that I would need to ring them to confirm he could check in on my behalf. I was not in a position to ring straight away, and the phone number on the email didn’t work, call now option on website went to nothing, my husband had to be given a business card with the correct phone number. Once I had a chance to ring and it was sorted, the helpful male staff member returned confused as to why there had been an issue. We were told it was ‘company policy’. I think this may need to be reviewed so others don’t have to deal with the unnecessary drama that we did last night.

Confirmed on check-in that we were in a twin room, when we got to the room, it was set up as a King and had to wait for them to come and rearrange. Credit card wouldn’t work at check-in, found out later that charge is going through as international which is blocked on our card, they didn’t tell us it’s being processed as an international transaction. Ordered room service through the link they provided to us, called reception 25 mins later to be told the restaurant was closed (supposed to be 24 hour room service), not notified that this was going to be the case on either booking or check in. When checking out, found that we had been charged an international fee through the bank due to the charge going offshore. Received an apology but staff and manager claimed that they knew nothing about this, thanked us for bringing it to their attention and said they would investigate. They then proceeded to not advise anyone else checking in while we were sitting in the lobby.

Hotel was as expected in this price range. Staff friendly. The location was terrible. Got no sleep as it is opposite two Gentleman’s Clubs and the noise/music continued until 6am in the morning. Cars racing past blasting horns and shouting from the street. Will not be staying here again. Feel sorry for the staff.

Convenient spot for footy at Marvel, walking to crown & generally getting around the city. Room was small but very nicely furnished & functional. Beds ok, great shower. Breakfast included, but was not buffet style as l assumed. Choice of dishes, very large and filling. The area is a bit seedy & noisy, but l expect this on the 6th floor in king Street. Higher up might be better.

Property is located in a central area walking distance from southern cross station, flinders, collins, bourke, areas. So it was fun walking and discovering the area. It was just across Sea Life Aquarium but we didn't check it out. It was nice to jog to the Botanical Gardens. Overall very convenient in Melbourne cuz of the free trams.

Service was good, we wanted a queen bed but it was two singles pushed together which is not ideal. Lots of dust in the rooms. Can hear loud traffic considering we were pretty high up. Right on Kings street which is where all of the strip clubs are, after a Friday and Saturday night the street is dirty and has a lot of drunk people hanging around on the street.

The front of house staff were great. Very hekpful and accommodating. Food and drink were limited in terms of availability. Coffee shop was closed on the Sunday. We tried ordering room service, but our order was incorrect when it was delivered. I called to advise this but was told the kitchen was closed, this despite the menu stating that food was available through the night.

We had a family room, both rooms are good size with nice comfy beds. We are on the 13 floor, you can hear the noise from outside but it didn’t bother us. We had breaky at salted egg which was really yummy. All staff are so lovely too. We already plan to stay there again for our next return in December.

Easy and friendly check-in, clean and spacious room. Air con was confusing and didnt seem to stay on thru the night making the room stuffy. Mattress and pillows were great. Breakfast was cold as was ‘hot’ water for tea, pastries seemed stale. Wouldn’t pay for breakfast there again.
