Polo Santa Monica

There are few restaurants within walking distance and they all close by 10pm so don't arrive late. The parking garage is horrible. There are very few spaces and all are designed for small vehicles. By allowing larger vehicles to park, fewer cars fit. The room was very nice and the amenities were as well.

This was a nice property, especially for the price. Nice area of the city and easy to get a taxi to the city center. Expedia says airport shuttle is included but just know it is not free, but is inexpensive (30sols or about 10us dollars). The staff were very helpful in getting the taxi set up how we.

The hotel is set in a residential area. It is approximately a 15 to 20 minute ride to the downtown Square of Cusco. Upon check-in, the girl behind the desk was very helpful. There was no recommendations or any information given about the area in which we were staying. We were given an average room facing the front. The window opened, which was quite nice to allow fresh air in. The room had a king size bed, which was basically two twins pushed together. The room did not have a hairdryer or iron or ironing board. The room did have a very large bathtub. However, if you are traveling with someone that you do not wish them to view you naked, the set up is not ideal. The room did not have a secondary lock, nor did it have a deadbolt.. the room did not have a do not disturb sign and housekeeping came into the room several times once While I was completely naked laying in bed. if you are a light sleeper at the top of the entry door, there is a frosted glass that illuminates every time someone walks down the hallway. Also across the street you’ll notice all hours of the night barking dogs. The hotel does offer hot tea and coco tea however, you constantly have to remind the front desk to refill the hot water as it is not on a set schedule. Every morning from 6 am to 9 am there will be a very modest breakfast offered on the first floor. Not recommended for international travelers. Spend more money and be downtown.

It was nice and modern and some floors still being. Built. Quite a long way from the old town bit Ubers are so cheap it was not a problem. Felt safe at all times

This is an inexpensive two star property in which you get what you pay for. The room had extensive amounts of mould present on the ceiling and walls - particularly near the shower.

Mi estancia en el Hotel Polo Santa Monica estuvo plagada de inconvenientes y desatenciones. A mi llegada, me cobraron un impuesto adicional por una estadía superior a 30 días en Perú, un cargo del que nunca antes había oído hablar y considerando que tengo las visa necesaria para mi estadía. La habitación tenía el piso sucio, lo que ya de por sí disminuyó notablemente mi confort. Adicionalmente una de las mayores dificultades que enfrenté fue la conectividad a internet. El wifi funcionaba únicamente cerca de la puerta de la habitación, lo que me impidió trabajar cómodamente en la mesa o desde la cama. Esta limitación fue especialmente problemática para mí, ya que viajo constantemente por trabajo y placer, y requiero de una conexión estable para mis actividades. La atención en recepción durante el turno matutino, fue desganada y poco profesional. Además, al pedir realizar un late checkout de apenas dos horas adicionales, me cobraron 40 soles, una política que nunca había experimentado en ningún hotel. Lo más preocupante fue que, al intentar pagar esta tarifa, ninguna de mis tarjetas de crédito “funcionó”, lo que me obligó a pagar en efectivo sin recibir ninguna boleta o comprobante oficial. Curiosamente, mis tarjetas funcionaron sin problemas después de este incidente. En resumen, mi experiencia en el Hotel Polo Santa Monica fue sumamente negativa. No me sentí bienvenida ni adecuadamente atendida, no me hospedaría nuevamente ni lo recomendaría a otros viajeros.

Gostei muito da localização e da estrutura. Porem, o quarto estava com poeira e o edredom estava muito empoeirado. Espirrei a noite toda. No quesito sustentabilidade, abrir o chuveiro e esperar 5 minutos para que chegasse agua quente, não é nada sustentável.

The room (410) had a great view over the airport and the shower was fantastic. The only complaint was that we had a 3 bed room and one of the beds had hair and dirt in the bed. We only needed 2 beds so it wasn't an issue.

Easy location from the airport. Clean and modern rooms. We had two different rooms: In one room the mattress was rock hard and in the other room is was so soft you sunk right into it. Would like to see better mattresses used.

Chambres très mal insonorisées on entend les voisins des chambres supérieures et inférieures tousser!! Le sol de notre chambre était sal (l arrière du tapis de bain était noir). Il a fallu se battre chaque jour pour avoir des serviettes de toilettes pour trois personnes. Je trouve dommage quee personnel dans un hôtel ne soit pas capable de parler quelques mots d anglais mais nous nous en sommes sorti avec le traducteur. Petit déjeuner complet et diversifié. Eau chaude.

The property was a great selection for the price. The room looked exactly as advertised. The only problem with check-in was my reservation through Expedia was not being found when arrived. It was a little noisy having a room by the street. Barking dogs and passing cars but not bad enough to not be able to sleep. The staff are very welcoming and friendly but DO NOT speak English. The breakfast is very slim to none with options. Be prepared to be hungry shortly after breakfast. Easy transportation out, in, to and from. It's an 18 min drive from the historic center and maybe 10-12 from the airport. All in all, I would stay again if I had too.

Ficamos apenas uma noite como transito. Mas achei ruim o chuveiro ser dentro do quarto, separado apenas por uma cortina em frente a cama, era muito frio para tomar banho, rsrsr. Mas o quarto é bem grande, e usamos muito os chás que ficam na recepção, pois foi na nossa chegada a altitude. No outro dia pegamos um transporte para o vale sagrado então a hospedagem nos atendeu.

Significant language barrier. Managed to communicate by translating using chat GP. Major issues - cold room, no working heater - non functional shower and no hot water. Got moved to a new room which also did not have a heater. I asked for drinking water and I was told the hotel does not provide water. I have to buy it from the restaurant. Something so basic. This was very disappointing, like would I be expected to but water in the middle of the night? It was also a nightmare just trying to ask for a cup to use in the room. They run this poorly I would not recommend this.

El hotel es bueno pero es EXCLUSIVAMENTE para parejas (nosotros somos hermana y hermano) por la disposición de las habitaciones, por ejemplo una tina dentro de la misma habitación es imposible de usar o tener solo un vano entre el dormitorio y el baño. SUPER INCOMODO salvo que sean parejas de esposos o amantes fortuitos! DEBERIAN ADVERTIR de eso en su presentación del hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great and it was in a nice area. We stored our bags here while we did a 4 day trek as well and they took good care of our things including my friends insulin which they kept in the fridge for us. Comfortable beds, good breakfast, walking to lots of restaurant options. A little bit of noise because of its closeness to the airport.

First they did a late Check inn with excuses that rooms were still in the cleaning procces. Then they din't check our reservation correctly and told us that they understand we reserve just one night and we deal with this making them review the reservation abd correct their record, later the room has no tv remote and when we query for one they ignore us abd my husband end up twice in the front desk just to be help with this. For this reason we don't recomend this Hotel.

El personal del Counter de Recepcion, mal capacitado, informa mal y hace pasar malos momentos. Trabajan como si les importara un bledo el pasajero. Deben tener mucha demanda. No recomendado para viajes por trabajo pues vas a necesitar Factura y ahi viene el problema.

Located close to the airport. Due to flight delays we checked in to freshen up just 2 hours before checkout. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Helped us locate our taxi to Ollantaytambo as well. This is a great place for a overnight stay close to the airport.

對於酒店員工十分不滿 首先是態度冷淡並且無法滿足客人要求，由於酒店職員不懂英文，難以溝通，職員會選擇先協助懂西班牙文的客人。 而面對本人所提出之要求，一而再再而三地忽略。本人出門前向櫃枱職員提出要求提供多一個枕頭及暖爐， 職員表示會於清潔房間時放進房間。 其後本人回到房間， 不但沒有完成本人要求， 更收走了早前向櫃枱職員借的風筒！ 本人親身到櫃枱再次表示需求，職員態度欠佳，沒有正面回覆何時會提供所需的物件，你需要多次向職員查詢才有回覆。 當我收到職員提供之暖爐時，我同時要求的枕頭，並沒有提供，又需要我再次向職員查詢！ 我從未試過入住酒店出現類似體驗，本人對此酒店十分不滿！ 位置偏僻，對於旅遊人士絕不友善！

HORRIBLE check-in experience. Super unhelpful and unfriendly front desk staff. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay, and the women at the front desk said they'd clean a new room and help us swap the dates. They told my friend and I to wait, so we did. About 30 minutes later, we went to check on the progress and there was a different woman working there. She knew nothing about what we were waiting for. I then proceeded to change the booking here in Expedia, and after showing her the updated booking she told us we had to pay a tax, which was fine and we were expecting that. I'm not fluent in Spanish but my friend is, and apparently it didn't matter how many times my friend told her we'd pay the tax, she basically kept telling us there was nothing she could "do to help us." Finally, after about 20 minutes of going back and forth with this woman, she somehow miraculously decided she would accept our tax payment so we could get into our room. VERY CONFUSING and I still to this day have no idea why she was giving us such a hard time. The room was okay, and breakfast was decent. The gentleman working the breakfast buffet was very kind and is the only reason why I gave "staff & service" 2 stars, because everyone else we interacted with was rude and dismissive. The price is good but like they say, you get what you pay for.

まだ近隣でも新しいホテルのようです。空港から、道が空いていれば10分です。逆に有名な広場などクスコの主要観光地は徒歩だと1時間くらいかかってしまうので、Uber必須です。また、飲み物やお菓子を売っているお店も近くにないので、街に出た時に買いだめが必要です。

Buen lugar para alojarse, está lejos del centro, pero puedes ir en taxi. Por 10 soles el viaje

Great place to stay. Fun to explore the neighborhood. Many interesting shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly, rooms were spacious with nice view. Low cost, great value.

Far from the historic centre but is located in a more residential sector, which makes it perfect to discover little bakeries.

Me encantó el trato del personal como el joven Erick ,muy servicial,nos apoyó en todo lo que necesitamos . Lo que no me gustó fue el desayuno nada de variedad pero muy recomendado .

The room was great and very close to the airport. However the service was poor. It took 2 e mails and several days to respond to a request I sent to book an airport transfer. When we arrived it had not been booked. Worse still the food we ordered was awful. Dry, recooked chips… and it took 45 minutes to arrive despite us being the only customers. The staff were rude, and more interested in their puppy than serving us. The puppy pooed on the floor of the restaurant.

Es un hotel bastante moderno todas las instalaciones son modernas y nuevas buen desayuno suficiente y variado para la tarifa cumple totalmente sólo considerar que está un poco alejado de la plaza de armas que los taxis por una mínima tarifa te llevan

A estrutura do hotel é boa, cama confortável, porém café da manhã deixa muito a desejar. Basicamente não tinha como variar nada. 1 opção de pão e ainda ruim. Nem cheguei a tomar café no outro dia. chegamos na madrugada, restaurante fechado e pedi pra comprar uma água ou me arranjar um copo com água pois estava com muita sede (vinha de uma viagem de trem), simplesmente não tinha água. Atendente não deu outra opção a não ser esperar até o outro dia pra comprar ou eu sair (em plena 1 da manhã) pra ver se um mercado no final da rua estava aberto. detalhe, o restaurante era embaixo e na prateleira cheia de bebida porém não podia pegar. Enfim, pelo atendimento pessimo, não voltaria.

Llegando al hotel para hacer mi ingreso la señorita que me atendió, fue bastante descortés y con muy mala actitud hacia uno como cliente, la habitación solo careció de calor ya que estaba bastante fría y por último el desayuno muy malo ya que nunca existió variedad.
