Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Two Rivers

Really nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The gym could need some work but other than that it’s been a great stay.

Disappointed the pool was not open during our entire stay. This was a key amenity we were looking forward to use.

The pool was out of service when we stayed. It was "down" for maintenance on a Saturday night. The biggest reason why we chose this hotel was because of the pool. We asked to get an adjusted price or discount but the GM let us know that we could not because the maintenance was out of their control. Please do better.

Hotel is 3 miles from Neshotah Beach; arguably the best beach in WI; pristine sand, blue green water, bands, really nice. Many of Cobblestone’s rooms overlook the Two Rivers Harbor; walking path in area and a great bar and grill next to hotel Waverly. Also Kurtz’s German bar and grill also within walking distance. Hotel has a generous complimentary breakfast. Pool is small but very nice after beach trip. This is a good hotel and area for a nice overnight escape.

Elevator was out of service

Good: Great location! Bedding was fresh and clean. Breakfast was decent. Coffee was good. Fitness center was nice. Didn't use the pool to give feedback. Bad: Bar wasn't open all weekend due to no bartender. Our bathroom floor was sticky and when we used a wash cloth to wipe it...it came out black. The room was very humid, the ac couldnt keep the room comfortable. The mattress was lumpy and felt broken down. Walk in accessible shower left tons of water on the floor, had to fill the floor with towels to soak up all the water. Customer service wasn't great, either there weren't enough people to keep up, or they didnt care to take care of the customers (no one at the counter, not answering phone calls coming in, etc)

The pool has been closed since July 7th according the posting on the door. Future reservations should have been notified the pool would not be accessible during their stay. We booked this hotel because it had a pool. We should have been offered a discount or the chance to switch hotels.

Nice outdoor patio with view of lake

We called in advance for early check-in, and our room was ready when we arrived. Front desk staff was friendly. Clean, comfortable room. Shower had plenty of hot water. Convenient free, on-site parking. Complimentary breakfast had all the essentials - waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, etc. We've stayed at this Cobblestone before and will do so again. It's our go-to hotel in the Two Rivers / Manitowoc area.

Great location and nice facilities. The room had a large amount of dead bugs on the AC unit and window area. The breakfast food was poor and area unclean. Staff did not make effort to clean up or make sure ara was stocked. Garbage was overflowing.

Booked a room with a walk in shower. Told that wasn't noted on the reservation. Given a room with a bathtub. Pet feces on the floor. Went down to lobby to complain. Clerk was very apologetic and tried her best to make it right. Upgraded us to what she called the presidential suite. Bed sheets looked clean but bed had an odor. Table tops were all dirty. Cob webs in every window corner. Windiws looked filthy. Dirt around baseboards. Not what we've expected from other Cobblestones we've stayed at. Breakfast was less than acceptable. Not appealing at all. Had 2 nights reserved .. checked out after one. Very unfortunate. Also we were charged more than price noted by Expedia when we made the reservation.

Staff is rarely visible at the front desk. Four day stay, no housekeeping is a bit of a stretch. However the property is clean, good location and reasonable price points.

We were one of a few people staying at the hotel. We were given a room that overlooked the construction which they started early which was an interesting choice. We went down for breakfast at 8:20. Three staff members were sitting in the room at a table. There was very little food left. Food was cold. Hardly any coffee. I asked if they would bring more. They said yes, but no food came out. No waffle mix. The counters were dirty. No forks or plates. Not great service. If you need a place just to put your head down and a bowl of cereal then you will be ok.

Very clean and spacious room. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to all.

The area was nice, right by the lake which was very pretty. One of our beds had grossly stained sheets which weren't noticed until the morning, and when we requested to have them changed, we were told that we needed to request that by 8:00 am. Those sheets should have not been on the bed in the first place, and when a guess requests a change, they shouldn't have to argue for it. They clearly need more staff, as the person running the front desk and trying to take care of the breakfast area and everything else just wasn't enough.

The hotel seems pretty new. Maybe they are short staffed but the trashcan in front was overflowing and the lobby could have used a good vacuuming. The room overall was good (microwave and refrigerator were clean) but there was dried urine in front of the toilet and a used washcloth left in the shower. I asked for cleaning supplies to wipe the bathroom floor but didn't discover the washcloth until later. Overall it was a comfortable room but there were some drawbacks.

Our TV did not work. The staff person tried to reboot it but couldn't. We had 2 TV's in the room so used the small one. Breakfast was bad. Everything was cold: the potatoes, eggs and ham. The guy didn't put out any utensils until we asked. I threw my first plate of food away. The container the food was in was warm but apparently he put cold food out of the frig into the warmer. My 2nd plate wasn't any better so had a bagel and yogurt. He also didn't know how to print out a receipt and said we would get an e-mail but 2 days later have not gotten one.

Beautiful location. Super clean. Comfortable beds for someone with back issues!Large room. Two Rivers is really improving the entire town…. Good for you! Please consider grab bars in the bathroom.

Very nice comfortable room with a good heater and clean bathroom. It is located in a convenient downtown location with excellent lake views.

Love the hotel and staff. One disappoinment was a musty smell when the a/c was running

This is my second stay here, one year apart. The only reason this is not a 5 star is because the banging pipe in the wall has still not been fixed. Everything else is perfect, but please fix the noise in the wall on the 4th floor in between the rooms across from the elevators. I've had both rooms over the past year and can hear it in both.

Breakfast area was super nice as well as the outdoor patio area. The view on the 4th floor overlooking lake Michigan was spectacular.

Our stay was good. The lobby restroom was out of our for 3 days. I find this unacceptable for a busy weekend. Our room didn't have a lounge chair in it - just a desk chair. There was no where to just relax and watch tv other than an uncomfortable desk chair or lay in bed.

It was a great, clean places to stay with very comfortable beds. The only down side is the bathroom door was broken and didn’t shut. Had a decent breakfast in the morning, way more enjoyable than most hotel breakfasts.

Staff very courteous and efficient. Breakfast was great and the employee helping was wonderful.

We liked the location and the hotel and hotel staff. But the place is way understaffed and couldn’t meet demand specifically for the increased number of guests for the 4th of July weekend. The staff is giving it all they got but overwhelmed. Management should do better staffing accordingly.

We arrived early, prior to 3 pm check-in. We stopped in just to say we're here and that we are going to ride our bikes. To our surprise we were told our room was ready. They were VERY accommodating with our large group of family/friends. The clerk/manager behind the desk for that weekend was AWESOME and provided fantastic service. We will definately go back.

Not good. Booked room at last minute. Room key was given to 2 different guests. They unknowingly walked into the room. After we left for dinner we were locked out of room. We notfiied front desk she said we can get a refund and find a different hotel if i wasnt happy. Asked her for supervisor said no one in until Thurs. Then preceded to tell me that i would be physically removed from the premises if i didnt stop complaining.

The bed and the room were new, clean and comfortable, except I could not control the AC and it was very cold and noisy though the night as it shut on and off. The staff was very nice but the front desk was mostly unattended - they seem to have a staff shortage. I waited a half hour to check-in because no one was there and no one answered the phone. They ran out of waffle batter and, again, there as only one person on both breakfast and the front desk, so they were slow to respond to breakfast needs. The location is ideal and the view of the water, lighthouse and beach is beautiful, also visible from the outdoor dining area.

The staff was amazing. We held a small women's conference there and when we had technical problems with the projector, the staff stepped in and helped us figure it out. The room was clean. The breakfast was great!!!

I had a reservation for studio suite confirmed for over a year, as I came exclusively for the NFL Draft. Checked in on 4/24. Got my keys went up to my room, it was 2 double beds. Went down to the desk, explained to the staff I was put in the wrong room type and was told they did not have anymore of the room type that I reserved available , the two double beds was all they had left. Explained I had this booked for over a year, and it was confirmed by Expedia, then magically the room type I reserved now became available. After moving into my new room, I checked my credit card and I was charged 519.00 when I was only supposed to be charged 444.00 for the three nights. Was told there was a $30 deposit for incidentals (was never told this or is it disclosed on their website) was charged a safe fee of over $5 (you know the safe in your room) was still a $50 price difference they could not explain, all I was told was the tax rates had recently changed, they would not honor what I was quoted by Expedia.I couldnt get a straight a, I stated several times I was only paying what I was quoted by Expedia. Got nothing but attitude and excuses from the staff. I dont like liars, and I dont like people trying to take advantage of me. Clearly they only cared about the dollar and how much they could squeeze out of me. Otherwise very nice property, very clean. If it wasnt for the staff, definitely would stay again. If you stay here check your cards and what you were actually charged.

Check in person was exceptionally friendly. Refreshing welcome! Quick and efficient. Finally updated their breakfast to standard hotel pickings from past nothing offered bye. Good move,, appreciated the effort.

Worst customer service we had ever received while checking into a hotel. The desk service girl never welcomed us, she never smiled. She came across as very rude to our entire family. What an awful experience checking into this fairly nice hotel for the first time. I believe her name was Brittney? Young caucasian girl. My entire family was actually shocked by her rude customer service. Very sad.

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the 4th floor. The Cobblestone was clean, and in a quiet setting, though a walkable distance to many places. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a good and substantial way to start the day.

Great place to stay. Close to the park right on the beach on Lake Michigan. Some neat stores and only like 10 minutes from manitowoc. All around this town has everything you need.

We stayed here when it was first built a few years back. It's a nice place and very close to an amazing beach. But it needs a little attention to keep standards up, and breakfast was rough... some of it was inedible.

Our TV did not work. The staff person tried to reboot it but couldn't. We had 2 TV's in the room so used the small one. Breakfast was bad. Everything was cold: the potatoes, eggs and ham. The hotel is great, with one exception. Good location just off the lake, easy to access. Very clean and the room was spotless and comfortable. Staff was friendly and prompt. Was a little disappointed in the breakfast, though... All the food was cold, and the fried eggs had a watery consistency that made me think they were probably frozen and not fully reheated before hitting the serving tray.

The breakfast was not up to its usual standards. No cereal, no cups for the milk or OJ. The breakfast burritos were dry and tasteless. The eggs looked terrible. We've been here before, and it was better. We don't expect gourmet food, but that was disappointing.

Food for breakfast was cold and bland Not well stocked. Coffee maker in room was dirty. Noisy from other people not being respectful. Stayed at other cobble stone hotels and never had this bad of experience.

May have been a bit short staffed. Sometimes had to wait for front desk staff and front desk person tried to run the bar at the same time. The staff did allow us to switch rooms to help my mom, which was greatly appreciated! Breakfast good and outside seating great especially at night.
