Very outdated Parking was ridiculous and the pool was closed and had junk stored around the pool area

Hotel was what I expected. Nothing fancy just the basics. Apparently there are some people living here that sat outside door with his dog. Another just hung out outside his door. Thought that was sketchy and needs to be cleaned up. Swimming pool area is apparently a storage area with no swimming possible

We originally got this Hotel because it was a good price but also we thought it had a pool. We checked in and they told us the pool wasn't been working for years. But it doesnt say that on the website. So that was disappointing. Also, the air-conditioning made our room muggy.

We loved the price on this motel for the condition. If you don't need or want to stay right downtown where you can walk to everything, we definitely recommend this hotel. Nice sized room and very clean. Please be aware that the pool/hot tub in the bubble dome that this hotel has been known for is NOT open at this time. Kids may be very disappointed but we were not planning on swimming anyway.

Unfortunately this stay was a disaster. They advertised that they had a pool and hot tub but neither were in working condition. Then as we were trying to checkout the next morning there was no personnel to speak of, no one at the desk or anywhere else. No breakfast or coffee- hours posted was 6am-9:00am for breakfast we were there at 6:45-7:00 and there was nothing. The rooms were clean but the walls are paper thin and need updating. The stay was less than desirable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool was closed due to major maintenance, but this deficiency was not mentioned in the Orbitz on line listing, which may have affected our decision to reserve here, as there were many other options available.

The outside of the property needs to be maintained better. The pool was none functional and looked like a storage area, outside garbages were overflowing. Room was clean although the lights above the vanity needed to be replaced, only one was working.

Didn't use breakfast, just coffee Pool and hot not in service again

The pool is not open nor does it look like it plans to be open ever. Lost of stuff in pool area making it look like a storage shed. Breakfast was alright, the build was very warm so much so it was cooler outside almost like air conditioning system was not on. For the price point I think they could do better.

No pool broken

The floor in my room had a dirty band aid, a piece of broken glass, and lots of dirt. The bathroom wall had at least 40 smashed dead bugs (gnats or fruit flies). The room was very cold (no heater) with thin blankets. The mirror above the sink was huge but if you are short, you can’t see into it.

Dirty finger prints on all doors, bathroom wall patched, pool area in total disrepair. Breakfast dreadful.

Property needs updating and cleaning up. Floors were filthy. We had to wash our feet before bed because the bottoms of them were black with filth. Pool was not open.

The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Dried urine on the toilet from the previous occupant. Little pieces of what appeared to be toilet paper on the bathroom floor. Some type of brown substance in the bath tub (I don't think it was poop though). When turning back the sheets on the bed, a small spider ran off. The room was inexpensive and in this case I certainly got less than I paid for.

Hotel was gross. We had food left in our refrigerator from previous people that stunk up the room. Squished bugs on the ceiling in the bathroom, old toilet paper balled up and shoved in the hole in the bathroom and under the air conditioner and you could see light under the door and under the air conditioner. The window next to our room had broken glass and it was a hazard to children. Also, the toilet didn’t have a lid on the tank and to fix it they painted a piece of plywood white. Pool was advertised as being open and it’s obvious that is has not been in a very long time. We will not stay here again and I encourage you to not make the mistake of staying here at all.

This hotel is the shabbiest, dirtiest hotel I think I’ve ever stayed in. There was a 30’ extension cord from the tv to a distant outlet. Smoke detector falling out of the ceiling. Torn curtain. Broken AC. Chipped paint. Dirt and messy caulking in the bathroom. Broken cheap furniture. I will not ever stay at another Baymont by Wyndham!

The room was in a corner with carts of dirty was across the window. The outlets weren’t finished. The floor felt dirty on bare feet. The toilet was running all night and air was loud. We switched rooms to the one next door and although the floor felt dirty as well and the coffee pot had to be taken to an outlet, was more comfortable. Also the price was outrageous for two nights in this hotel.

This property was absolutely disgusting! The room was the dirtiest room I have EVER stayed in! They gave 3 people only 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth, said all the towels were dirty so we would have to wait for more. Toilet leaked, TV remote worked half assed and had to unplug to get it to turn off, no bathroom mirror, trim missing, broken and dented lampshades, garbage left under desk, and don’t get me started about the cleanliness or shall I say lack there of in the bathroom!!! I felt like it was a room under construction that they just threw us in. The so called patio area, 4 of the 5 chairs were broken and garbage was all over the place! Talked to front desk and all they said was I can send housekeeping…… they gave me the email for management to discuss refund of some sort! I have sent 3 emails so far with no reply! Paying way too much for this room was unacceptable n so many levels! I owned a housekeeping and property management company in a very wealthy area and if I EVER left a room under these conditions I would have been fired. I took so many pictures of this nasty place! I would not recommend anyone stay at this property!

There were bare exposed walls where old heating elements were removed. The mattress was old and had sunk in the middle. It had no mattress pad. It was urine stained. The floor was sticky. All the countertops were sticky and it smelled awful.

No Internet, no pool...had a poorly cleaned room

The walls are so thin and poorly insulated that you can hear the folks next door breathing. Toilet is not full size and very shallow i wont be staying here again and shall give this to my community friends in Durango

Rooms have poor sound insulation that you could hear the slight noise from the room on the second floor. The beds are old and have some squeaky noise. The sink and bathtub drains not working and the water collects and drain very slow. Good hot breakfast for the price.

The room is newly remodeled with hard wood floors, that was the only plus. The bathroom was hastily cleaned with paper on the floor. The worst part is the incredible road noise and people noise while you're in the room. The walls are about 3 inches thick, including the front wall to the parking lot. You can hear every single voice and word spoken clearly as if they are in your room with you. I will not ever stay there again. The $70 a night was fine but the noise was terrible. The manager did not care even a little, so I checked out after a night and lost $70.

There was NO WIFI, NO BREAKFAST, NO POOL. I had the deluxe king suite and there was mold around the tub, it reeked of smoke and bad food left from the previous people, no mirror anywhere, windows spray painted black and a door crack of 2 inches where mice can crawl under. There’s also never anyone at the desk before 3. I tried to contact them about this with Expedia but have had ZERO response.

The room was very spacious, pretty clean, and had everything from a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.The AC was right by one bed which made it hard to get air to the opposite bed. Our top lock on the door was broken. The property is motel style which we were a bit iffy about but it was very quiet and no issues. The pool was closed. Breakfast was ok but the staff was on top of restocking everything.

The first thing we see, when we arrive, is that the pool is closed due to renovation. We had picked the hotel because it had a pool. The room is clean but very old and defaulted. There is a one inch gap between the floor and the outside door, so it feels like sleeping in a tent next to a busy road. There was also a gap under the door to the other room, and with that and paperthin walls, we could hear everything our neighbors said and did. The windows were so dirty that they were almost orange. The lamps were old and rusty. The aircondition was very loud. The breakfast was so low standard. We absolutely can not recommend this hotel. Looking forward to hearing from you and we expect compensation.

The room had baseboard missing in the living area, tile missing in the bathroom along with baseboard. It just gave an unkept feeling. The toilet was built for a child and not an adult and was a difficult stretch to sit for an aging adult.

The room was very spacious and clean It was loud, you could hear the neighbors talking and understand every word.

It appears that the owners are in over their heads. The phone in room didn\'t work. New AC unit was difficult to control fan speed and noisy. You had to turn on the TV by using the actual button on the TV then find the HDMI "mode" and then use the remote...cumbersome. BUT then no volume on the TV. I then was going to call the office as they suggested and the phone didn\'t work. It worked for the night.

The desk clerk was extremely rude, for no other reason than I was checking in late. He threw the keys at me and did not even tell me my room number. It was late but that does not warrant the behavior especially when paying $200. The light in the vanity’s area did not work and the clerk was banging on the door at 10:30 telling me I had to get out. There are better ways to address this than rudeness

This is NOT a hotel. It is an outdated MOTEL. I’m shocked it’s owned by Wyndham. Although the flooring and bathroom had been updated, the furniture had not. Our chair was worn and dirty. The bed, pillows and comforter were very comfortable and hot water was great. The staff was friendly and saw to our needs. The tv had an issue and they came right away to fix it. This motel is worth more like $60/nt, not what we paid for it! If you’re on a budget, this would be an ok place to stay, but if you’re used to an actual hotel as we are, I’d stretch the budget a bit and stay somewhere else.

Arrived at 10:45pm after 6 hour drive and took almost 45 min to check in bc Front desk person didn’t speak English well and could understand I needed to use a different CC than what I used to make reservation. He called 2 more people that were insulting told me to shut up and wouldn’t let me explain. Had to pay cash and then they wouldn’t give me receipt for a cash deposit of $150, then told me they didn’t want my business if I demanded a receipt. Finally got them to understand but then I was told the rooms didn’t have heaters, and when I finally got to room there were no towels. I the morning they same person that took my cash deposit didn’t remember and had to wait 15 minutes till another person arrived and refunded me. The only good thing about this place was the room was reasonably furnished. Scetchy neighborhood, and cashier at nearby convenience store in the morning told me he hears others tell him the staff at this property try to rip people off all the time and have similar problems.

The tv would not work. The suggestions provided by the desk clerk over the phone did not solve the problem. She said she would send someone to our room. When no one arrived after 30 minutes and the show I wanted to watch was half over, I called the front desk back and told them to forget it, that I was going to bed. She offered to have someone fix it in the morning, but we were only staying one night. At breakfast, we arrived 30 minutes before it was due to close. There were no eggs or sausage left and no attendant to ask for more. We made do with mini muffins and coffee. An attendant arrived as we were leaving.

The facility in the bath did not work. Called the front desk, to be told the maintenance person was on the way. 30 minutes later, called again. Told 5 maybe 10 minutes out. Another 30 still no one. Personal visit to the desk. Asked for another room, told there was none. Asked for a refund, miraculously a room became available. Second goon:no television and it smaller. Toilet leaking at the base. Another front desk visit. Refund granted. Not someplace I’ll visit again. EVER!

Likes: adequate parking. Dislikes: room in poor shape & in need of major repairs; breakfast on 1st day was not stocked; no daily maid service & no clean linens-were told we have to REQUEST it. In 50+ years using motels & hotels, NEVER had to ask for daily service. Not what we expected for $170+ per day.

The staff were super friendly, down tovearth friendly, not fake friendly. They were also helpful and prompt about it when I had trouble with the tv. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. How coffee, tea, and water available at all hours & free.

Was not told when signed in that room was only serviced and fresh towels furnished if requested. Found out about this policy when I went to front desk. This should be disclosed by Hotels.com in the description of the property. Had I know about this policy, I would have selected a different hotel.

Room service (cleaning) is only available upon request, the dumpster in the hotel parking lot was overflowing with trash and mattress’. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay

Not a well maintained property. Free breakfast was cold and burnt. Front desk was never at the front desk. Won't be staying at this motel again.

Older property run by a nice couple. Affordable place to stay for an overnight stay in Durango. Not centrally located to main dining and shopping area of Durango.

Parking close to room made for easy loading/unloading. Close to Purgatory resort. Clean rooms.

We loved the location and the ease to walk around town. we will stay here again for sure.

I skied at Purgatory, and this hotel is on the way. I thought the room worked out perfectly. I would definitely stay again.

Good simple hotel. Our neighbor was a bit noisy but the hotel cant really control that. Other than that, it was clean and nice and in a great location. Bed was probably better than my mattress at home.

Nice breakfast room, adequate offerings. Polite staff. We stay at a lot of budget hotels and then one was better than many of them.

Giant overflowing dumpster sitting in parking lot. Had to actively search for someone at the front desk every time we went up there. Gone from 7am until almost 7pm, when we got back to the room there had been no housekeeping service. When we again had to go looking for someone to get fresh towels, we were told rooms aren't made up during a stay unless we requested it. Breakfast was good, but that's really the only good thing from our stay.

Our room was clean and had been recently painted. The breakfast area was cramped and there wasn't much selection. The cereal dispenser was broken, so I improvised and scooped cereal out with a plastic cup. Someone had drained the waffle batter onto the counter and the staff was in the middle of dealing with that mess as we sat down for breakfast. After we were done eating, someone brought out bacon and eggs.

Under construction, dust bunnies by the heater (that doesn't work), splits in the jacuzzi tub around the jets so I didn't dare us it (unfortunately). Breakfast was a joke, overcooked scrambled "eggs", empty cereal containers and unrefrigerated milk anyway. There's a reason their rates are so low....
