Clarion Pointe Savannah Gateway I-95

Upon check in, sheets were dirty. We asked for new sheets and there was no one there to change it so we changed them ourselves. Breakfast was sub par. Pool was nice though.

Hotel was ok had to ask for room service they came first day and not the second day.. Was disappointed about their pool.. pool was not very clean as should be

Fantastic stay!!! Pool was clean and enjoyable. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!

This was a nice moderate hotel along I95. The room was clean, the pool nice. There was a nice continental breakfast given in the lobby.

The manager was very helpful. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is in a nice cul de sac with restaurants and other chain hotels. Newly refurbished room. Everything clean. Will stay again. Great rate as well.

There was alot of construction in lobby. During the night there was alot of noise like furniture moving or construction and doors slamming. The elevator had a very bad smell.

This place was a stop onto our main destination. It was a good deal and convenient since it’s super close to 95. There is a humid smell to the place which I know can occur when it’s hot and it’s been raining but that’s usually outside or when you enter the lobby. The smell continued in the hallway and slightly into our room. I can see that they are fixing up this place and I like that. The staff was very pleasant and checking in was easy. There are areas that are furnished with new furniture and the walls seemed freshly painted. The cleaning staff does a thorough job because it’s obvious the management cares about neatness and cleanliness. There are areas that look old and damaged but I imagine it’s on the “to do” list. The simple workout area was closed but it was nice to see there was an area to do some simple exercising. I would definitely come back for a night or two. I’m not sure if I could handle the musty smell longer than that. It’s a pleasant place to stay in other than that.

The Hotel overall was clean, my room was nice and clean, and the front staff was nice and welcoming. The Fitness Center did have very little equipment if your into exercising while out of town. Even though the hotel was updated you can still tell it is an older hotel. At checkout there was a 'No Vacancy' sign at the front desk, so that says enough in itself. 🙂

Solid, clean hotel with a small workout room and breakfast. Hard wood floors add to the cleanliness rather than carpet.

It was ok, but the entire building had a strong musty/mildew smell. The room was clean, but the a/c made a loud noise all night. Thankfully I brought my fan😁. The tv would not turn off. The cable would go off, but not the television itself. Couldn't unplug it, so left on all night. The bed was ok, but not great. The shower was really nice, with good pressure. This hotel might be ok for 1 night, but only if you can get past the smell, and can tolerate a noisy a/c? I couldn't stand the smell, so knowing that, I personally would not stay here again.

First room given wasnt cleaned. Second room had mold around the tub and on the shower ceiling. Hotel corridor smelled like mildow. Hotel room smelled stale, like air filters needed to be changed. Direct TV kept cutting off or freezing. Based on a 1-10 scale. I give it a 5 at best...

Nice hotel that is starting to show lack of maintenance. Fan in bathroom rattled very loudly, and there was mold on the ceiling, walls, caulked places. Air vents were clogged with dust.

I had a wonderful experience here, checked in around 10pm and the young lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful, my room & bed were perfectly clean and I was really looking to make sure there wasn't anything nasty. I stayed for three nights and on the second morning room cleaning came by and knocked but me & my partner were still in bed so I just said no thanks and assumed they would just skip our room, came back later that night and they had cleaned for us at some point in the day. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience except for the fact that the vending machine ate my quarters lol.

There were roaches in the fridge, mold on the bathroom ceiling, bathroom door didn't close, pool unclean, laundry services don't work, entire hotel smells mildewy, breakfast was a joke with zero protein options, the worst hotel I've ever experienced. Well below motel quality standards

Black mold in EVERY CORNER of our room. Unused towels were very damp to the touch. Standing water in bath tub. Bugs in mattress.

The hotel needs a major cleaning. Even though it ‘looks’ like there’s been a bit of a renovation, it was just for aesthetics. The hallways smell of mildew, the carpets are dirty and dingy, and the bathroom smelled of mold and we’re just dirty in general. The grout was completely turned brown and black with time and water buildup.

Alot of mold on room ceiling. Shower was full of mold on tub edges and ceiling. Shampoo container empty, hair dryer caught fire.

The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was totally comfortable. The TV sound was not great and the refrigerator was missing the freezer door so there was ice build up in the freezer portion but that did not affect our stay.

The rooms were nice .You can hear the person walking down the halls . The water pressure was low. The bed was on a metal frame hooked to the head board so when you moved it shifted The person at the front desk was helpful. Tbe breakfast has scrabbled eggs , waffles to make and sausage .

Beds were great and clean. The air conditioning was irregular, old, and very noisy. I only got 2 hrs. Sleep because of the noise and the heat in the room. There was much more noticeable dirt than I wanted to see. Coffee was cold and ran out. Not a great selection for breakfast. I wouldn't go back.

Stay was pleasant. Room was clean, property was nothing to brag about but it was good. The only bad thing about the stay was the AC unit. That thing sounded like a freight train every time it came on. My daughter and wife had a tough time sleeping because of how loud it was.

Convenient to I95. Room was partially renovated and we appreciate there was flooring vs carpet. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom was not renovated. Floor was sloped, door frames cracked and broken and there was a huge crack from the doorframe to the ceiling which indicates a structural issue. Did not appreciate the hotel charging an extra incidental $100 charge in case there was damage to the room which they said will be refunded after our departure. Hope we don’t have to fight them regarding the damage to the room which already existed and we did not cause!

I love this property! The bed was so comfortable. The property is clean and well maintained. We had a maintenance issue and it was taken care of immediately. Front desk staff are wonderful. We extended our stay 2 more days because we were so relaxed and enjoying our stay! Thank you Clarion point for a wonderful stay

We were getting ready to leave and my husband was taking some things to car while I was getting ready. The cleaning elderly man tried to go to the room and my husband said we are not ready yet. It was 9:30 and check out was 11:00. He then went out of room again and the man started to go in again and my husband said to him we are not ready again. I was standing in just a shirt and panties doing my hair and with no knock or anything the man walks in on me. I had just gotten out of the shower not too much before this so I could have been naked had he came in just a little bit before that. I was like what in the heck are you doing coming in without knocking first and it’s not even check out time and my husband told you twice already that we were not ready. The other thing that happened was my husband couldn’t sleep and it was 4:30 am so he didn’t want to wake me so he went out of the room. He went to come back in and his key wouldn’t work. He went to sit in the lobby until he could wake me and was told he couldn’t sit in the lobby it was closed. He couldn’t get into the room so he sat outside which we are not from the area so not sure if that was even safe to do. We also were informed that food from breakfast was not allowed in your room. Will not be staying here again.

No one in the front desk in the night, and really dusty!

The staff was very friendly (Patel kept the breakfast buffet stocked up and she did check-ins at the same time) and the housekeeping manager was extremely helpful in getting us towels for the room and for the pool. The room was very clean and comfortable and the only thing that could possibly change is more hot food items for the breakfast buffet. But we will definitely stay again.

The staff act like they have no clue what be going on. I come inside and was waiting 10 mins all because the lady at the front was standing outside seen me and still did not come assist me. I have to ask for my room to be cleaned everyday being there. The a/c was broken so it was hot and cold when it wanted to be. Breakfast was about the only thing I like.

The breakfast was just OK. Juice machine did not work. And the eggs were subpar. Probably would not eat the breakfast again. The place and staff were excellent!

Staff was below average. Had to wait 5-10 minutes to check in while staff was on cell phone. Noticed later staff was outside sitting in car instead of being at desk. There were boxes in hallway, looked like they were getting new tv's. Area is a little rough, there was a lot of people walking around that looked like they were lliking for someone to leave something unattended. considering the price I wouldn't recommend.

Very slow check in . Terrible customer service. I had a tv that would only geta couple channels and the guide didnt work. The desk clerk kept promising to get maintenance there but after 3 hours and many excuses still no help .

We have stayed here before and will probably stay here again. It is right off I-95, very convenient. There are several good dining options close by. Staff are great. Our room was very clean, breakfast was good. Not as many options as some places but enough to give you a good start to the day. Everything was fresh. Our room was very comfy, plenty of space abd we loved the bathroom.

Conveniently located off the highway and close enough to Savannah that we could check out this wonderful city before heading to Florida for the weekend.

Like that the property was near the I95 exit and there were shopping in the area

Choose this hotel because it was close to I95. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. We didn't check out any amenities. We just wanted a good nights sleep.

The check in was fast and efficient. Clean rooms and facilities The property was quiet and a good value. Bfast was mediocre but for the value of the room it worked well for us for a quick overnight stay.

Room was in good condition other than the shower head falling off when my husband went to adjust it while showering. The continental breakfast was terrible and very limited. Alot of things were empty by 730am and when told the employees were rude and didnt want to fill anything back up and it ended at 10am so there shouldve been no issue with refilling anything. Over all it was ok but we wont be staying here again

Our stay was good until we got a knock on the door on the last morning at the 10:35am from an old couple telling me that I needed to leave and that check out at 10am when clearly the sign posted on the back of the door and in the lobby says 11am checkout. They argued with me until my boyfriend came to the door then they left. The front desk said they knew nothing of the couple then said they couple should’ve known better. Do they live there or something? That didn’t sit well with us AT ALL!!Other than that … The beds are VERY noisy with any slight movement but still comfortable none the less. If you want breakfast be prepared to get it super early because by 7:30 or 8am there is no more and they aren’t making any more either.

Very nice hotel. Easy check in process and lobby had snacks and beer for purchase. Breakfast was typical continental type and was good.

Clean, comfortable room and big comfortable King sized bed. Shower needs better water pressure, it's like a sprinkle of rain, no pressure and showerhead isn't adjustable. Breakfast was very minimal, gravy and biscuits were served but they were all but gone, not enough to make a meal for two adults. Overall good experience for an overnight stopover.

Overall everything was wonderful however I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t bring breakfast to my room. My toddler was sleeping so I had my brother go get us breakfast because I didn’t want to wake my child and I couldn’t leave her alone and my brother(who was visiting us at our hotel room) was told he couldn’t take food to the room. So me and my child missed out on the breakfast the whole time we stayed at the hotel. Yes I could have let my brother watch my child but how would my child eat if I couldn’t bring her food when she wakes up? It’s nonsense this is the first time a hotel denied a guest to bring food to the room.
