Good hotel. Location is good if you prefer a quieter part of town. Unfortunately there is a building site next to the hotel. Big seller for the hotel is the pool on the rooftop. Downside - drinks at the hotel seem to be overpriced and service in the bar at the ground floor is slow. Also the aircon in the room doesn't work.

Room is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of street parking lots. It is a good choice if you drive. The food in the restaurant does not worth the price.

Really enjoyed my stay here at the Renaissance! The hotel itself if stunning and the rooms are incredible for a restful sleep or just hanging out. The rooftop pool, gym, and bar is a really nice escape from the crowded city and offers great views. Porto is currently undergoing a lot of revitalization with construction so views do include construction sites and cranes, but don't let that deter you. You can't hear the noises!

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The rooftop pool was a great feature too cool off from the summer heat. This area did get quite busy throughout the day, so it’s worth mentioning that sunbeds were limited, however there were other seats available for guests. The selection at breakfast was very good with a wide range of food options. That said, we were only offered a menu from the kitchen (for freshly cooked eggs etc) on one occasion during our stay - this seemed like an option that should be available each day. Some of the cooked breakfast options were also lukewarm each day, considering the cost, I do think the hotel could improve upon this offering by addressing minor issues. The rooms and facilities at the hotel were excellent, super comfy beds and all the amenities you would expect from a 5*. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, an excellent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if visiting Porto.

Tolles Hotel, sehr schöne Zimmer mit angenehmer Größe. Fantastisches Frühstück. Bis in die Stadt allerdings ein Stück zu gehen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Auch gut, der Parkplatz 15€ am Tag.

Location on the edges of Porto which for us made it a little quieter and more relaxing but others may not wish to walk into town which is downhill on the way there but uphill on the way back! Staff were very welcoming and rooftop bar and infinity pool was amazing

It's a lovely hotel in a very good location. It's walkable distance to local busiest restaurant and drink area. Almost every metro line stop at Lapa which is only few minutes walk, although I didn't walk at night. I used bus instead which is also few minutes away from the hotel. The service is really good, the room is spacious, clean and quiet. We had breakfast there, the choices are very good, especially the lovely local honey that it's so tasty. We also tried the restaurant for a pre-flight meal, again very good. Would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the special treat and a bottle sparkling to my mother for special occaion. Thank you. Will defo return to this hotel again.

La habitación tenía muchísimas hormigas, toda una fila desde la ventana hasta el baño, me dijeron que las exterminarían pero más bien las repartieron por la habitación. Al día siguiente, ya no se veía la fila de hormigas haciendo suponer que todo estaba ok, pero a media noche había hormigas en la cama y por todo el baño. Cabe mencionar que yo no introduje alimentos, solo había sobres de te y cápsulas de café que proporciona el hotel. El personal de recepción siempre muy amable, se disculpaba pero las hormigas me acompañaron durante mi estancia (3 noches). Increible para un hotel Renaissance y con un costo elevado.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. It’s very new and definitely feels that way. It’s also very well located, especially for the purposes of my trip. The decor is 100% my taste. While the pool is definitely the visual jewel in the hotel’s crown, the service is its best asset. Laura and Sara in reception, plus the lovely ladies at the restaurant reception and pool bar (forgot their names, sorry!) - to mention a few - really made my stay. Every member of staff interacted with - front of house, those serving you at breakfast, housekeeping, were just lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh, quality food. The swimming pool is very relaxing and probably my favourite place at the hotel. It does help they have some good cocktails. Bed was super comfortable, good room amenities, soft towels and robe, plus toiletries were great. The gym is adequate for an away from home workout, and very bright. Overall, think I am a little bit in love; had a fantastic time and will definitely look to stay over again when returning to Porto.

We had the most amazing stay here while celebrating my 30th birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was spotless, beautifully kept, and so comfortable. The breakfast had a vast selection of food and it was all so tasty. What really made the stay unforgettable was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. They recommended a restaurant for us to try, and we ended up eating there and absolutely loved the food - it was perfect, and we were so grateful for the suggestion. From start to finish, everything was exceptional: the cleanliness, the service, and the genuine care shown by the team. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special, memorable stay. Thank you for making my birthday so wonderful!

We scored the stay as a 3 star this was because of the construction work that was noisy even through the closed windows which we were told would not be the case. I wish the check in guy had been upfront about this as the hotel moved us to a quieter part mid stay which was inconvenient - but they did the staff were great and lots of them available to speak to - room facilities were brilliant and immaculate- pool was a bit cold but it is February - metro was very convenient but we walked downtown in 15 mins- so location in my view didn’t matter - thanks

L’hôtel est très bien. Le personnel est super et les chambres sont très belles. Le plus gros point négatif pour nous a été le bruit. La chambre où nous étions donne sur la rue ce qui a été notre choix mais la chambre est très mal insonorisée.. la nuit, on entendait tous les passages de moto, les discussions des gens dans la rue et le bruit des travaux le matin.. à part cela, j’aurai mis 5 étoiles. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est une pépite au passage ! Nous avons adoré et reviendrons certainement mais pas dans cette chambre..

This hotel is exceptional. The staff are amazing and it is beautifully kept. The only thing I would have liked in the suite booked was a bath instead of a walk in shower, but this wouldn’t affect the 10/10 I would give this hotel. Can’t wait to stay here again!

My stay at this establishment was amazing. The staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The only downside of my stay is the constructions happening right next the hotel. It was pretty loud at times, other then that, I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, staff is very friendly. The walls are very thin though, every morning there was slamming doors for hours that shook my room, not sure if it was cleaning staff?

The hotel itself is gorgeous. It’s very new and definitely feels that way. It’s also very well located, especially for the purposes of my trip. The decor is 100% my taste. While the pool is definitely the visual jewel in the hotel’s crown, the service is its best asset. Laura and Sara in reception, plus the lovely ladies at the restaurant reception and pool bar (forgot their names, sorry!) - to mention a few - really made my stay. Every member of staff interacted with - front of house, those serving you at breakfast, housekeeping, were just lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh, quality food. The swimming pool is very relaxing and probably my favourite place at the hotel. It does help they have some good cocktails. 주변소음이 너무 심하고 공사중인 상태여서 별로였어요. 객실 방음이 잘 안되고 창문이 반이상 막혀있는 방이였는데 변경 요청에도 변경을 안해줬어요. 4박 내내 소음으로 잠을 설쳤어요. 그리고 생각보다 시내와 거리가 너무 멀어요.

The room is spacious and clean. However, we are having unreasonable charge of one night without our consent. We paid for 2 nights and our credit card had been charged for the 2 nd night and we were found out this debit on our Visa card later. Not until our second email to the hotel that the management team explained this is a system error. We have very unpleasant stay with this issue.

Very nice, clean, modern and comfortable. Rooms are highly styled and come with everything you need. The doorman who welcomed me was one of the best and made me feel very welcome and taken care of. Front desk staff was also friendly and helpful. Alas I had some minor quibbles about the service in the lobby bar and also the rooftop bar. Service wasn't very friendly and the Margarita was served in a tiny glass! Very poor value for money. I walked back from the Lapa metro station after dark without any issues, even encountered a friendly black cat, but would not advise single females to do it as there is no one around.

Lovely hotel, new and clean. Room design is practical. Not too far away from nice restaurants and attractions. However, the hotel has a ground floor rooms, just behind the reception. We were given a room in this section, not considering our request for a higher floor room ( I have anxiety when staying on a low floor in a highly building due to PTSD). They promised to look at it and change us for our second night, which they never did. This section of the hotel is also inconvenient because you have to go through the lounge to get to the lift, every time you want to go to the pool or gym, walking in your robe amongst people leaving and arriving. Although the room was nice, the location of it made it feel second class and unpleasant. The staff are obviously new and not very knowledgeable . We were asked to pay for the room , which was prepaid, on our arrival and our check out and we had to argue and provide proof of payment, which is not an issue but is annoying. The room service and the cleaning services were great. Charging €15 a day for parking when there is plenty of free street parking is outrageous

The hotel is clean and beautiful and staff are wonderful and helpful. I was hoping we would get a room upgrade due to it being a VIP hotel but it didn’t happen- staff said because they’re all fully booked. Overall I would stay here again. The only thing I didn’t like was the strong perfume smell in the hallway and lobby.

We had the most amazing stay here while celebrating my 30th birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was spotless, beautifully kept, and so comfortable. The breakfast had a vast selection of food and it was all so tasty. What really made the stay unforgettable was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. They recommended a restaurant for us to try, and we ended up eating there and absolutely loved the food - it was perfect, and we were so grateful for the suggestion. From start to finish, everything was exceptional: the cleanliness, the service, and the genuine care shown by the team. Staff are the best! Helpful, courteous (especially the interns), and always ready to holdndoors and carry luggage. A bit far from riverfront and big shopping mall (uber cost) and not much right around the hotel. I wouldnstay there again.

Location on the edges of Porto which for us made it a little quieter and more relaxing but others may not wish to walk into town which is downhill on the way there but uphill on the way back! Staff were very welcoming and rooftop bar and infinity pool was amazing

Good hotel. Location is good if you prefer a quieter part of town. Unfortunately there is a building site next to the hotel. Big seller for the hotel is the pool on the rooftop. Downside - drinks at the hotel seem to be overpriced and service in the bar at the ground floor is slow. Also the aircon in the room doesn't work.

Mooi nieuw hotel (april 23) maar kleine attenties ontbreken.... Als je s' nachts na een lange reis in je kamer komt is het fijn om iets te kunnen drinken of eten, de lege minibar was een ontgoocheling. De roomservice bracht ons vleeskroketten die niet echt warm waren.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The rooftop pool was a great feature too cool off from the summer heat. This area did get quite busy throughout the day, so it’s worth mentioning that sunbeds were limited, however there were other seats available for guests. The selection at breakfast was very good with a wide range of food options. That said, we were only offered a menu from the kitchen (for freshly cooked eggs etc) on one occasion during our stay - this seemed like an option that should be available each day. Some of the cooked breakfast options were also lukewarm each day, considering the cost, I do think the hotel could improve upon this offering by addressing minor issues. The rooms and facilities at the hotel were excellent, super comfy beds and all the amenities you would expect from a 5*. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, an excellent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if visiting Porto.

Speedy check in and pleasant staff. Hotel is only 3 years old so the hotel is immaculate and rooms with all the amenities. No balcony, which was real disappointment. Pool terrace is exceptional. The main issue are the bar/restaurant areas. Over priced for breakfast, for the money you’d expect table service but it’s a buffet and it’s crammed into a small serving booths so you end up queuing and reaching across other dishes. Little atmosphere in the bar, no viewing areas which you’d expect given the positioning of the hotel. Overall, nice but no cigar.
