The Island House

Everything about this house is perfect from the outdoor area and pool to the outdoor showers (the BEST!) to proximity to everything we love to our housekeeper Mari, who we love to see every year. This is our favorite place in the world and look forward to coming every year!!

This property was amazing and the perfect getaway for our group. The floorplan is very well designed for both group activities and also privacy when you needed it. The rooms and bathrooms were all very clean. The island and some of the pool offered much welcomed shade during the hot mid-day. The grill and commercial ice maker were both game changers for us. The privacy and safety provided by the private community setting was phenomenal. The housekeeping staff, Mary, was beyond exceptional and exceeded expectations with cleanliness, laundry, and breakfasts. She is an absolute treasure. The concierge staff was equally exceptional in assisting us with all of our necessities and activities. Communication was early, often, and extremely helpful. Check in/out was made very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The island house was a great place to stay. We loved the privacy of the backyard and the fact it backs up to the Jungle.

The Island House far exceeded our expectations. For our family of 6. The house was beautiful, the backyard was picturesque, and Mary our housekeeper kept the place immaculate during our entire stay. We will definitely stay here again! I was hesitant to book a private home, but everything was perfect and can’t want to return!

Wow, what a place! The Island House could not be more perfectly set-up. The host, concierge, and staff were incredibly helpful before, during, and after our stay. The Hacienda Pinilla complex offers great amenities, so you do not have to leave the property. However, the house is situated between Tamarindo and Avellanas, so it's a great location. I'd absolutely recommend this home for future trips and hope to stay again!
