The staff is hit or miss, some are friendly and others couldn't care less. The happy hour that they promote is only good for a very limited menu and the rest of the time the drinks at the pool are shockingly expensive. For example 60 pesos for a 500ml bottle of water and 250 pesos for a cocktail. Hotel was clean and the pool is great.

We loved this place and definitely plan to return. Our orientation upon checking in was thorough and welcoming. The hotel is located within walking distance to all kinds of great restaurants and the ocean, but the area around the hotel is nice and quiet (except for a fun and loud Sunday afternoon tea dance at a nearby rooftop -- not a problem at all.) The layout of our room was great. The partial ocean view from the balcony was exactly that -- we were able to look out at the water and enjoy the view, but it was not an "ocean front" view. It was what I expected and was quite lovely. The bed and linens were great, and it was nice to have chilled, double-filtered water directly from the refrigerator, safe and tasty for drinking. The furnishings were comfy, and housekeeping was reliable and unobtrusive. Also, what a treat to have a washer and dryer right in the room. We definitely took advantage of that! The rooftop infinity pool was truly fantastic. What a view! We spent a lot of time by the pool. Our only very minor negative was the poolside bar -- the service was wonderful (friendly and efficient), but the drinks were disappointing. The margaritas didn't taste of lime and the lemon-drop martini didn't really taste of lemon. The house wines were only OK. If the wine and cocktails lived up to the amazing setting, it would elevate this already-great poolside experience to the next level. This was a wonderful find; it will be our go-to place in PV from now on!

Excellent location. Our only complaint was the ongoing work around the property. The workers were drilling, hammering and what not all day and into the night both near the pool and our room. We’ve stayed there a couple of times before so I wasn’t surprised by the work but it is a pain.

Beautiful room and property with exceptional service. The pool is a perfect cooler temperature and has a stunning view with open bar and plenty of seating when we stayed. Drinks are U.S. prices, but delicious and well worth it (shout out to Speedy who took great care of us poolside).They offer a grocery shopping service prior to arrival that made our stay even more comfortable and we made full use of the brand new kitchen appliances. The washer and dryer were also new, and soap was provided - great not to come home with bags of dirty clothes thanks to this amenity! Surround views from the corner king suite were amazing even though we were only on the 2nd floor and had really hoped for a higher floor. Our concierge was right - because the hotel is on a hill, there isn’t a bad view in the house if you're ocean facing. We recommend keeping the blinds closed during the day to keep the room cooler. However, the multiple fans and AC work very well even in the hottest hours of the day. My only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom which was harsh, white LED sporlighting and cast shadows making it hard to see yourself in the mirror for make-up, etc. This is a very minor criticism, however. The best part of this beautiful hotel/condo was the team. Every staff member we encountered was delightful and helpful. Housekeeping, security, poolside staff, and check-in teams all made us feel welcome and right at home. We LOVED this place and are definitely planning on a repeat stay.

Good: great area, nice rooftop pool with amazing happy hour. Room is beautiful…but see below. Bad: our room smelled so badly of mildew that I can’t give it a better rating. Water dripping beside the bed all night. Noise level from hallway was loud. Maybe if we were in a different room it would have been a better experience.

Amazing upscale hotel with professional friendly warm hearted staff. The hotel premises are completely clean, from reception area to gym to pool facilities. This is my 4th time staying at Pinnacle 179. I am now making plans to stay in October 2023.

The nightly tuck down service was heaven. Coming back from dinner and seeing the room immaculate was incredible. It gave such a wonderful, peaceful glow.

A beautiful, spotless, brand-new building. We had a corner suite and the view was fantastic. Two full walls of windows that open. Loved that you could close a wall to separate the bedroom from the rest of the space. Very helpful since my husband wakes up earlier than me. Or you can leave the wall open and wake up to the beautiful view. The rooftop pool is great. The servers are friendly and helpful and will bring your drinks to you in the pool. We would hang out up there during the hottest part of the day and watch whales- so many in February. This is in a part of town with many clubs, so you will hear music. It generally calms down after midnight. The windows block out an impressive amount of sound, but heavy bass will cut through.

My only concern was being put in the room directly where the pool was being remodel across the street. Other than the noise, it was a great experience and the room was very tidy. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at.

The room was nice and housekeeping was very good. However, room PB1 has a horrible view. Website stated resort view, but our view was the trash truck and gasoline delivery truck along with numerous workers right outside of our balcony which is basically at street level across from the parking garage. Not remotely enjoyable for sitting outside.

My Husband and I had a wonder time at Pinnacle. The room was very comfortable had everything you needed, bed was comfortable. Felt like home. Washer/dryer was amazing to have. I didn’t want to leave . It’s beautiful . Loved the roof top pool. Everything is so close. Steps down to the center , coming back threw those steps was intense , it’s doable and it’s good for you. They also have a trolly . We used it once. All the staff was very helpful they were all great.. cleaning ppl, won’t go in your room if you leave things of value, like wallet, phones, watches jewelry. Be sure you put all that away. They have a safe. Loved our view , sunsets were amazing. Definitely will be back..

We stayed here for the weekend March 8-10 2024 The rooms are great lots of space and so nice to have a kitchen plus full balcony. The check-in was super easy and everyone was very helpful. The pool is beautiful when it gets a bit windy up there similar to other rooftop pools. The plus side is you always have sun up there so the wind didn’t bother me. Staff at rooftop pool are helpful and the music was easy-going. The only downside to this day was the bed was really uncomfortable but the service staff did everything they could to try and improve the frame while we were staying there. I would definitely stay here again, but only if I plan to buy groceries and use the kitchen/dining space more. if you plan to eat out and be out and about all day, then it’s way overpriced but if you’re going to stay in the hotel room it’s awesome.

Our only very minor negative was the poolside bar -- the service was wonderful (friendly and efficient), but the drinks were disappointing. The margaritas didn't taste of lime and the lemon-drop martini didn't really taste of lemon. The house wines were only OK. If the wine and cocktails lived up to the amazing setting, it would elevate this already-great poolside experience to the next level. This was a wonderful find; it will be our go-to place in PV from now on!

Great location! Stunning views. My upgrade status was not recognized. Also had to wait until exactly 3pm to check in. There’s some construction, and you can hear plumbing and neighbors very clearly in units. But the rooftop is a blessing.

Rooftop pool says it all! Wonderful mezcal drinks at the bar while you watch the sunset. Comfortable room and balcony with seaside view. Could be more accomodating with late checkouts in rare cases like flight delays or cancellations.

Beautiful room and property with exceptional service. The pool is a perfect cooler temperature and has a stunning view with open bar and plenty of seating when we stayed. Drinks are U.S. prices, but delicious and well worth it (shout out to Speedy who took great care of us poolside).They offer a grocery shopping service prior to arrival that made our stay even more comfortable and we made full use of the brand new kitchen appliances. The washer and dryer were also new, and soap was provided - great not to come home with bags of dirty clothes thanks to this amenity! Surround views from the corner king suite were amazing even though we were only on the 2nd floor and had really hoped for a higher floor. Our concierge was right - because the hotel is on a hill, there isn’t a bad view in the house if you're ocean facing. We recommend keeping the blinds closed during the day to keep the room cooler. However, the multiple fans and AC work very well even in the hottest hours of the day. My only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom which was harsh, white LED sporlighting and cast shadows making it hard to see yourself in the mirror for make-up, etc. This is a very minor criticism, however. The staff is hit or miss, some are friendly and others couldn't care less. The happy hour that they promote is only good for a very limited menu and the rest of the time the drinks at the pool are shockingly expensive. For example 60 pesos for a 500ml bottle of water and 250 pesos for a cocktail. Hotel was clean and the pool is great.

Power went out over night multiple times My niece was dehydrated and could not walk, the front desk charged us a whole other room without any kind of compromise all because the room CAN NOT have any visitors outside of 2 people sleep there? So unreasonable and rude customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will take my business else where GOOD LUCK TO THEM

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We love the Adult only concept. Very Gay Friendly. The hotel is located in the Zona Romantica which is the Center of it all. The staff is amazing all the time. Friendly , respectful , attentive , quick reaction to needs. The infinity pool is one of the best for lounging and watching the Sunset. The restaurant staff is So Amazing and Wonderful. Love this team. From the moment you walk in the pool area the restaurant staff is there for all your needs with Drinks and Food. Major Shoutout to Diego who does a great job of running the team. Cecy she is incredibly wonderful , kind , fun , engaging and a beautiful person. Issac always checking up with us to ensure we were doing great. Renato and Elio were also extremely attentive. Ace team of PV. We will be back again... Thank you all.

Second stay here; it's becoming a go-to for me. Modern, clean, well managed and great location. The funicular mostly solves the issue if being at the top of a hill, with so much to do right at the bottom of the ride down.

My Husband and I had a wonder time at Pinnacle. The room was very comfortable had everything you needed, bed was comfortable. Felt like home. Washer/dryer was amazing to have. I didn’t want to leave . It’s beautiful . Loved the roof top pool. Everything is so close. Steps down to the center , coming back threw those steps was intense , it’s doable and it’s good for you. They also have a trolly . We used it once. All the staff was very helpful they were all great.. cleaning ppl, won’t go in your room if you leave things of value, like wallet, phones, watches jewelry. Be sure you put all that away. They have a safe. Loved our view , sunsets were amazing. Definitely will be back..

A beautiful, spotless, brand-new building. We had a corner suite and the view was fantastic. Two full walls of windows that open. Loved that you could close a wall to separate the bedroom from the rest of the space. Very helpful since my husband wakes up earlier than me. Or you can leave the wall open and wake up to the beautiful view. The rooftop pool is great. The servers are friendly and helpful and will bring your drinks to you in the pool. We would hang out up there during the hottest part of the day and watch whales- so many in February. This is in a part of town with many clubs, so you will hear music. It generally calms down after midnight. The windows block out an impressive amount of sound, but heavy bass will cut through.

The location was excellent. Dozens of wonderful restaurants and things to see close by. The apartment had all the amenities we wanted and more! Washer & dryer, full kitchen with cooking supplies, balcony with fan, great AC, and a wonderful pool. Bed was soft enough for me and firm enough for my hubby. Happy hour was an excellent treat too! Many tasty cocktails for excellent price. Will stay here again for sure!

We loved this place and definitely plan to return. Our orientation upon checking in was thorough and welcoming. The hotel is located within walking distance to all kinds of great restaurants and the ocean, but the area around the hotel is nice and quiet (except for a fun and loud Sunday afternoon tea dance at a nearby rooftop -- not a problem at all.) The layout of our room was great. The partial ocean view from the balcony was exactly that -- we were able to look out at the water and enjoy the view, but it was not an "ocean front" view. It was what I expected and was quite lovely. The bed and linens were great, and it was nice to have chilled, double-filtered water directly from the refrigerator, safe and tasty for drinking. The furnishings were comfy, and housekeeping was reliable and unobtrusive. Also, what a treat to have a washer and dryer right in the room. We definitely took advantage of that! The rooftop infinity pool was truly fantastic. What a view! We spent a lot of time by the pool. Our only very minor negative was the poolside bar -- the service was wonderful (friendly and efficient), but the drinks were disappointing. The margaritas didn't taste of lime and the lemon-drop martini didn't really taste of lemon. The house wines were only OK. If the wine and cocktails lived up to the amazing setting, it would elevate this already-great poolside experience to the next level. This was a wonderful find; it will be our go-to place in PV from now on!

Rooftop pool says it all! Wonderful mezcal drinks at the bar while you watch the sunset. Comfortable room and balcony with seaside view. Could be more accomodating with late checkouts in rare cases like flight delays or cancellations.

Beautiful room and property with exceptional service. The pool is a perfect cooler temperature and has a stunning view with open bar and plenty of seating when we stayed. Drinks are U.S. prices, but delicious and well worth it (shout out to Speedy who took great care of us poolside).They offer a grocery shopping service prior to arrival that made our stay even more comfortable and we made full use of the brand new kitchen appliances. The washer and dryer were also new, and soap was provided - great not to come home with bags of dirty clothes thanks to this amenity! Surround views from the corner king suite were amazing even though we were only on the 2nd floor and had really hoped for a higher floor. Our concierge was right - because the hotel is on a hill, there isn’t a bad view in the house if you're ocean facing. We recommend keeping the blinds closed during the day to keep the room cooler. However, the multiple fans and AC work very well even in the hottest hours of the day. My only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom which was harsh, white LED sporlighting and cast shadows making it hard to see yourself in the mirror for make-up, etc. This is a very minor criticism, however. The best part of this beautiful hotel/condo was the team. Every staff member we encountered was delightful and helpful. Housekeeping, security, poolside staff, and check-in teams all made us feel welcome and right at home. We LOVED this place and are definitely planning on a repeat stay.

La estancia muy agusto, solo quitan desactivan la llave a las 11.59 , no dan nada de tolerancia , ni para bajar mas maletas, entonces desocupe 11.50 todo lo demás servicio instalaciones muy bien!!!

Beautiful property in the heart of romantic zone. Staff was great, room comfortable and spacious with balcony. Ocean view from room and rooftop pool. Great bartenders at pool, friendly and courteous. The hotel has a tram that takes you up and down the hillside which helps to avoid stairs. Close to the beach, restaurants, and bars.

We have stay here numerous times and has never disappoint us. The staff is amazing , the pool is great, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, the small CHIC restaurant team is super attentive and fun. Located in the middle of everything. SHOUT OUT to the team Speedy , the restaurant manager , Ramon , and Gabriel.
