We booked the cheapest room and this obviously was a bit uncomfortable. Room is small with very basic facilities- 1 plug and 1 dim light. The mosquito net didn't stop the mosquitos, but you have an amazing location, right on the beach. Don't have high expectations- shower was simply a hose coming from the ceiling. Toilets need to be cleaned more often. The location is the selling point!

Great budget accommodation directly on the beach with no frills. You get a bed, fan, wifi, desk, and a mosquito net. There are shared showers and restrooms. A common area with hammocks and day beds. Great for travelers on a budget and wants to be outside of their room enjoying all that Zipolite has to offer.

Reserve una habitación con vista al mar y evidentemente más cara y lo único que veíamos eran las palmas de la entrampada frente a nosotros. El mar estaba enfrente pero no podíamos ver el mar. Nos quedamos sin agua en el baño dos veces en 3 días, el lugar es limpio pero no limpieza a las habitaciones durante la estancia. No dan jabón ni shampoo, solo papel de baño y toallas.

El personal es muy amable, hay mucha tranquilidad, la ubicación es muy buena porque esta en medio de todo Zipolite y frente al mar, tienen sillas, reclinables y hamacas sobre la playa.

Las personas que atienden son muy buena onda y te ayudan en cualquier momento , muy buena vibra el lugar , hamacas cómodas y camastros , lo único que baja un poco es que hubo un rato que no hubo agua en la habitación sin embargo abajo tienen baños y regaderas , creo que es un poco bronca de la zona

Great place to stay. All staff members are helpful and friendly. It's right in front of the beach and you have the town's main street right behind the hotel; lots of restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and so on at the turn of the corner. I didn't like that the wooden window in the room lets all the noise in and there's two bars right outside the property, right in front of your room. So you better be sleeping late on weekends. Fri to Sun I guess. Take into consideration that the bathroom is also outside (guess it only applies to certain room types, mine was the cheapest one) so, that's how it is.

The common areas that f the hotel can use some implement and cleaning. The center courtyard is strewn with construction debris and old tool/equipment laying around. A paved pathway from the rooms to the shared showers and toilets would help in keeping sand and trash from sticking to our bare feet. Also, there’s only a single and terribly unstable small bathroom sink to be shared by all guests. No shelf for toiletries and shaving equipment among with a very tiny single mirror in the entire complex. A few and inexpensive additions and improvements will go a long way in making the experience at Ballelita more enjoyable.

Best place to be a beach bum. Between the hammock, the bar and the beach I didn’t need to leave the property. (The shade and ocean breeze are the only escape from the humidity.) Staff was awesome! Made coffee early for me.🙏 Drinks were cheap too!!

Room had a fan, bed, chair, shelf, and light bulb. Bring an extension cord as there will be only one outlet. Room’s palapa roof will drop dust and dirt if you face the fan up. The canopy on the bed was for dust from the palapa because it had dust and dirt on it as well, couldn’t use it for the mosquitos that will bite you all night. Prepare for a sandy room as there is no deck from your room to the bathroom or bar area so you will track lots of sand into your room. Bathrooms are fine, showers lacked showerhead and water had a sulfur smell. Showers flooded. Check in is after 14:00 so the time on Expedia and on their email communication should match. You will be on the beach and mornings on the hammocks can be restful. But require you to order from the bar if you are there in the afternoon. Current and waves are very strong and it was recommended you don’t go in waist deep. Town and food was fine, some restaurants were busier than others and ran out of ingredients. Hormis l'emplacement, nous avons été déçus. WC bouché la première nuit, mais la direction a fait un geste et nous a compté pour la première nuit le prix d'une chambre sans sdb privative. Installations très très très sommaires. Rien pour ranger ni pour poser dans la chambre ou la salle d'eau. Seule solution : tout poser par terre. Heureusement, la literie est confortable, le ventilateur efficace et relativement silencieux, et l'environnement est calme.

El trato fue bueno por las personas que atienden el lugar, pero la habitación fatal, no era cómo lo ponen en las fotos, sábanas sucias y no hacen el aseo continuamente, ya que me hispede 7 días y en ningún momento nos cambiaron las sábanas.

The owner Alex is very nice and so is his staff. The location is excellent and I like the palapra with hammocks out front. The bar next door plays very loud music and the rooms are very, very basic.

Es ideal para una experiencia ecoturistica, recomendamos las habitaciones del segundo piso porque son las que tiene vista completa al mar, la habitación tiene lo básico, un ventilador bastante útil para no pasar calor y abriendo las ventanas por la noche la pasas bien bonito. El hotel tiene una magia en lo sencillo y el personal es bastante amable en todo momento. Mejoraríamos las habitaciones privadas en planta baja porque se percibe el olor a drenaje y se concentra un poco más el calor, fuera de ello nuestra experiencia fue increíble 👌:)

Esta padre porque esta en la pura playa. Ya saben que es todo muy hippie en mazunte, pero a pesar de eso no se me metio ningun animalito a la habitacion, tiene ventilador asi que de repente si te da calor y el baño esta medio feo pero pss es zipolite. Todo ok

Buena en general , sólo la vista en el cuarto a la playa es limitada porqué tapan las palmeras y la choza... Muy Ideal para despejarse y descansar.

Room had a fan, bed, chair, shelf, and light bulb. Bring an extension cord as there will be only one outlet. Room’s palapa roof will drop dust and dirt if you face the fan up. The canopy on the bed was for dust from the palapa because it had dust and dirt on it as well, couldn’t use it for the mosquitos that will bite you all night. Prepare for a sandy room as there is no deck from your room to the bathroom or bar area so you will track lots of sand into your room. Bathrooms are fine, showers lacked showerhead and water had a sulfur smell. Showers flooded. Check in is after 14:00 so the time on Expedia and on their email communication should match. You will be on the beach and mornings on the hammocks can be restful. But require you to order from the bar if you are there in the afternoon. Current and waves are very strong and it was recommended you don’t go in waist deep. Town and food was fine, some restaurants were busier than others and ran out of ingredients. A 3 star stay in general.

Loved it 100%! On the beach!!! I plan to return and rent the same room, upstairs, facing the ocean. The property is one of the few rustic and natural, made of wood and palms. I wish I had spent more time sharing with the staff (I was too busy sunbathing); they were so cool, welcoming, and down-to-earth. Their coffee was the best coffee I had while at Zipolite. It went perfectly with astry from the bakery nearby. Amazing place.

Es un hotel sencillo pero a mi parecer bien ubicado. Está a pie de playa y es ideal para salir a caminar a la playa, ir a la playa del amor o en la noche ir a los bares que están a pies de playa. Por parte del staff la verdad es que súper amables los chicos que me ayudaron a hacer mi check in. Descansé muy bien.

Best place to be a beach bum. Between the hammock, the bar and the beach I didn’t need to leave the property. (The shade and ocean breeze are the only escape from the humidity.) Staff was awesome! Made coffee early for me.🙏 Drinks were cheap too!!

Great central beach location. Rooms are very basic. If you're a late night person, it's great. Because you aren't going to get to sleep until the wee hours of the morning due to the alleyway right next door is a DJ/Live music venue and on the back side is a night club and they both seem to compete on who can blast more decibels.
