Experience was pretty good food can be better at the buffet side, The only really bad experience was for our kids we mainly chose this for the slide in the pool for 5 straight days it was closed until the day we departure they opened it up I wish they informed us the slide was closed for maintenance

Great resort, pool area is a lot of fun and the kids loved the FlowRider at Sunrise. Nizuc is lovely, quiet pool. food was great. staff was great.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the moon palace nizuc. It was spotless, the staff were wonderful. You are allowed to go between Nizuc and the other property Sunrise. That made the trip, as the kids loved the play area and the warmer pools. Sadly as beautiful as the pools are at Nizuc, they are extremely cold. Our kids love to swim and they couldn’t handle the temperature of the pools at Nizuc. The pools at Sunrise were nice and warm. The food at both the resorts was awesome. There’s so much to do. The only horrible experience we had on the trip was dealing with the sales men selling their membership. The man at the end of the presentation in the suit was so brutal and pushy, he upset us a lot. We weren’t the only ones, we spoke to many couples on our trip that had similar bad experiences. It was absolutely unacceptable behavior in our opinion and it needs to stop. We were on vacation and the manner in which we were talked to was awful. We shook it off after a few hours and enjoyed the rest of our trip. We did receive two day passes for their other resort the Grand in exchange for the presentation we listened to with the awful sales men. The Grand was great, but very large. 2 days was enough, but we were happy to see it and plan to take our kids there again when they are a bit older and can enjoy the amazing water park there. All and all the resort, the food and the wonderful staff made our trip a success. There’s so much great stuff for kids and families to do.

Resort was very clean, quiet, and easy to navigate. Marketed as 3 connected resorts. Nizuc resort was dated with not many options for dining. the Sunrise had more options, but also somewhat dated. The Grand was very nice, however an up charge to use the facilities and restaurants

The property is immaculate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Transportation on the property was by easy access shuttle including shuttles to the sister property. There were some very minor inconsistencies in service levels however we were there over a very busy holiday season. Clean, clean, clean. We would recommend to other travellers.

We were very pampered and everything was taken care of. The food is amazing. All the restaurants we tried are so good in terms of food and service. The waiters and waitresses are all attentive and friendly. The resort environment is clean, calm, and family friendly. My family especially enjoyed the wired lounge and mini golf. The only downside is that the resort is far from any form of public transportation. The only way is to take a taxi out, which can be expensive. If there can be shuttles taking us to shopping centers or some tourist spots close by, it will be much appreciated.

It was overall a brilliant stay would definitely come again! So much to do will not get boring we stayed for 8 days and felt like it wasn’t even enough! Food was so good in the restaurants! The room service food was a bit bland but it would do, but overall great! So many options for food! Services was overall very good and very helpful staff Used the spa the massages were brilliant! The spa was nice too! Rooms were cleaned and mini bar was replenished every day very well! The alcohol dispensers were disappointing as they didn’t dispense much to none. Echo friendly but that meant they only had bar soap for body. Good shampoo and treatment. Pool was never too crowded so much space and wasn’t fighting over a sunbed. Child friendly. The bath in the room as clean and the jets were clean. Golf carts to get around and shuttle buses to lobby to lobby. There are many animals around the resort but clauses no problems. Staff were never pushy for tips which was nice so we could give them in our own time and when we thought they deserved a tip. Pools a mostly clean small debree on the floors but they can’t help that from the tree leaves ect falling in all the time. Cafe was great sweet treats coffee and tea all for free ans good!! Are allowed in the pool at night at your own risk! Overall would highly recommended this hotel for family and friends to go to! Great hotel!

They call you super early the day after you check-in if you dont agree to there time share meeting, they try to insit and call your room all day.also i got charged double for a upgrade with roachs in the bathroom and nothing was done i dint even get the 250 credit shown on expedia.

Pros: Friendly and attentive staff in the restaurants. Food was good. Kids enjoyed the pool and kids playroom. Improvements: The water in our shower had a bit of a smell to it. Pool side service was generally slow. Mildew seen around the edges of the pool.

Staff here is very helpful and friendly. The resort is pretty clean for the most part, although I feel that housekeeping can do a better job cleaning. The food options were great, and the buffet was our go to place for breakfast and lunch. The one thing I can complain about this resort has to be the smell of the sea. We booked an oceanfront room which had a beautiful view, but the smell of rotten eggs was pretty bad.

We do not recommend this property as it is not worth the money. With just a day of rain, our room was fully flooded. This was not limited to our room and an indication of larger problem as there were other rooms with leakage. Long lines to get food or coffee. Substandard quality of food and restaurants. My daughter fell sick and kids from other families we traveled with all fell sick. Finally. Very few vegetarian options.

I came here for my honeymoon with my newlywed wife. On the only full day I was there, the entire room flooded due to a faulty drain next to the jacuzzi. My wife almost got hurt, some of our clothes were wet, and it was a terrible disaster. When I sent an email to the resort, they did nothing meaningful to resolve the issue. It’s clear that this place does not care for your safety or service. Choose another resort.

First night we had a cockroach in our room ants all over our patio, they fumigated it but didn’t help with ants so we couldn’t even enjoy the patio, it takes about 10 mins to get out of the resort and only way out is by taxi they don’t shuttle you out. The time share lady was very aggressive our first day I told her no thank you and she gave me a lot of attitude. The room choices for family need to be bigger you can’t fit two adults on a full sized bed they should at least be queens. The only positive would be the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants were wonderful except one restaurant we felt we were being rushed out. Won’t be staying here again.

Very nice and huge all inclusive property. Well organized and lots of staff to help. I’d come back again. Honeymoon suite premium paid wasn’t worth it compared to regular ocean front deluxe reservation. We were offered a bottle of cheap sparking wine in the room and a special dinner, but was hoping for more given the ~700$ difference

We enjoyed the All Inclusive, but the resort didn’t have a lots of restaurant options that were open and most of the food was only so-so, especially the Indian food, it had a great ocean view but the food was subpar! The Steak House and Mexican restaurants were decent. But we spent most of our time at the coffee and sweets shop and snacks bar. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful when we had problems with our room phone and sink. Our 2 beds were Full sized and not Queen sized, so sleeping for 4 of us was very difficult, wished the beds were bigger!! Overall we had a great time on our vacation.

Not Family, Children and Disable friendly. Three resort at location (Nuzic, Sunrise, Grand). Staff nonstop trying to sell Timeshare and would not leave me alone even after several “not interested” responses. All Staff wonderful except Check-In Staff rude and unhelpful, have to reprogram my room bracelet keys 5 times, got a card key and still no access, waited for maintenance for 2 days to fix door lock, terrible inconvenience and wasn’t offered to changed room. Room was clean however Jacuzzi in the middle of the room unsafe for kids. Balcony door lock broken, bed very small. Playroom nice, kids enjoy but wasn’t able to leave my kids unsupervised but cheap nanny service available @$18 USD hourly 4 hours minimum plus transportation. My disable father had several difficulties getting around. The transport from room to main lobby runs limited hours. I requested transport to assist for 4am checkout for flight but was told transport closed. They should include a tour of all the amenities at the property within the first 24 hours of check-in. That would have been extremely helpful. Resort should have designated smoking area. People should not be allow to smoke by the kids pool area. Great food options and entertainment, room service great. READ THE FINE PRINTS. ALOT OF THE AMENITIES OFFER WHEN BOOKING WAS DIFFERENT OR LIMITED DURING STAY.

They call you super early the day after you check-in if you dont agree to there time share meeting, they try to insit and call your room all day.also i got charged double for a upgrade with roachs in the bathroom and nothing was done i dint even get the 250 credit shown on expedia.

I liked the property. Lots to do, good food. One major negative was their aggressive unethical sales team. They called our room 5x in one day, making it impossible to sleep in or take an afternoon nap. I told them I’m not interested in a sales pitch and I’m not interested in buying anything, they told me I was entitled to $350 free resort credits because of my Expedia VIP status and I had to come down to claim it within the next hours, reassured me that it had no strings attached. When I got there, Teresa (sales person) told me I had to go to a seminar to claim it. Sleezy tactics and outright lies. I heard numerous other guests complaining too. Ruins the carefree all inclusive experience. I would stay away from this resort if you don’t like pushy sales people. I’m unlikely to go back.

The overall stay at Moon Palace Nizuc was great. From the Bell staff, waiters, kitchen staff, playroom staff, room service staff, and reception. The one issue we ran into while staying there at Moon Palace Nizuc was when we did the tour of Moon Palace The Grand, for the two day free pass— the last of four salesmen who were trying to sell a timeshare was rude and insulting to my wife and I when we refused to buy anything from them. He got snarky and tried to get a reaction out of us; however, my wife and I didn’t react the way he was trying to have us react which prompted him to finally give in and tell us to leave. We had a great stay up until that point, luckily it was second to last night Monday there which we made up our minds NEVER to return to Moon Palace Nizuc. The only thing going for them is the humble work staff that are trying to make an honest living and not stiff tourists. Our next vacation will be at another hotel and not at Moon Palace resorts. The individual was reported to the reception staff once we were leaving because they asked what our opinions of our stay at the resort. Frankly, there are bad everywhere you go, however; this was a little on the extreme side and even the reception staff felt bad for us once they asked us to describe this individual so they could report it to their bosses. Regardless, this type of behavior is not condoned by anyone outside of the timeshare folks and it definitely left a mark with us.

Also, the staff push very hard to sell the Time share. Lo que no nos gustó fué que no nos hicieron la limpieza de la habitación hasta las 5 pm. Y que te insisten mucho para que compres un tiempo compartido, nos hicieron perder 4 hrs . Fuera de eso , es un gran hotel , lastima de la playa que no tiene los colores de Cancún .

Huge resort with ample amenities and food options. Variety of restaurants and swimming pools for the kids to enjoy. Beach is accessible from the pool area, but the beach water is not the best. Waves were very mild and the water color was not turquoise.

We were very pampered and everything was taken care of. The food is amazing. All the restaurants we tried are so good in terms of food and service. The waiters and waitresses are all attentive and friendly. The resort environment is clean, calm, and family friendly. My family especially enjoyed the wired lounge and mini golf. The only downside is that the resort is far from any form of public transportation. The only way is to take a taxi out, which can be expensive. If there can be shuttles taking us to shopping centers or some tourist spots close by, it will be much appreciated.

Staff here is very helpful and friendly. The resort is pretty clean for the most part, although I feel that housekeeping can do a better job cleaning. The food options were great, and the buffet was our go to place for breakfast and lunch. The one thing I can complain about this resort has to be the smell of the sea. We booked an oceanfront room which had a beautiful view, but the smell of rotten eggs was pretty bad.

We do not recommend this property as it is not worth the money. With just a day of rain, our room was fully flooded. This was not limited to our room and an indication of larger problem as there were other rooms with leakage. Long lines to get food or coffee. Substandard quality of food and restaurants. My daughter fell sick and kids from other families we traveled with all fell sick. Finally. Very few vegetarian options.

There was hardly any variety, and the food quality was subpar at best. For the price I paid, I expected much more in terms of options and freshness. The room itself was also a letdown. It was much smaller than advertised, making it difficult to move around comfortably. I could barely find space to store my luggage, and the cramped quarters really took away from the overall experience. To top it off, the recreational facilities were inadequate for the number of guests at the hotel. The amenities were overcrowded, making it impossible to enjoy any of them fully. Whether it was the pool or the gym, there simply wasn’t enough space or equipment to accommodate everyone. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Moon Palace is beautiful! It was exceptionally clean, great staff and service. Room service was surprisingly good also. The breakfast buffet at Nizuc was really good but lunch and dinner were just OK. We enjoyed eating at Momos. The food was excellent at the Specialty Restaurants. The 2 hrs presentation was emotionally draining, not sure it was worth the free passes to Grand. While the Grand is beautiful, the buffet was average and too long of a wait since everyone has the free pass. Would definitely return to Moon palace.

Me asignaron una habitación que ya estaba ocupada, abrí la puerta y una mujer estaba dormida, no hubo nada de damage control, además; más de 90 min escuchando la plática de ventas, el chico de la tienda para canjear mi resort crédito fue grosero, el lugar es bonito pero mala experiencia.

Es muy aburridor los vendedores tratando de venderte semanas. El transporte en los carritos de golf no es muy organizado. A veces tarda mucho tiempo en pasar.

The overall stay at Moon Palace Nizuc was great. From the Bell staff, waiters, kitchen staff, playroom staff, room service staff, and reception. The one issue we ran into while staying there at Moon Palace Nizuc was when we did the tour of Moon Palace The Grand, for the two day free pass— the last of four salesmen who were trying to sell a timeshare was rude and insulting to my wife and I when we refused to buy anything from them. He got snarky and tried to get a reaction out of us; however, my wife and I didn’t react the way he was trying to have us react which prompted him to finally give in and tell us to leave. We had a great stay up until that point, luckily it was second to last night Monday there which we made up our minds NEVER to return to Moon Palace Nizuc. The only thing going for them is the humble work staff that are trying to make an honest living and not stiff tourists. Our next vacation will be at another hotel and not at Moon Palace resorts. The individual was reported to the reception staff once we were leaving because they asked what our opinions of our stay at the resort. Frankly, there are bad everywhere you go, however; this was a little on the extreme side and even the reception staff felt bad for us once they asked us to describe this individual so they could report it to their bosses. Regardless, this type of behavior is not condoned by anyone outside of the timeshare folks and it definitely left a mark with us.
