Downtown property, but fenced around the parking lot. Very friendly staff. Restaurant is decent. Breakfast was good Gym was decent. Would definitely stay here again passing through Prince George. Also walking distance to a nice microbrewery that has good beer and good food.

The Hyatt is definitely one of the best places to stay in PG. It's modern, well designed with much better than average quality kitchenette suites. The rooms aren't large, but are very efficiently designed to maximize the functionality of the space you do have. The gym is high quality and stands in contrast to most hotel gyms. There are a few minor points I would offer as feedback. For the kitchenettes, the only cookware is coated with forever chemicals (ie. Teflon). Esp. for pots and pans this makes no sense given what we know about this chemicals. Stainless steel would be a much better choice for durability and guest health. The area around the hotel is... ok. There is no decent grocery store within walking distance. The closest is a Buy Low Foods which can be a treacherous walk in the winter with snow and ice on the uncleared sidewalks.

Clean, large rooms. Service was good. Only complaint was the dining room and bar. Small menu and lack of knowledge of mixing drinks. Think more would utilize this amenity if there was a larger, more varied menu and drinks were to include cocktails.

It's a modern, well maintained facility. Gym is good to very good. I had the kitchenette suite which is very appreciated. There is a small, pleasant pool. For those with EVs there are 2 Tesla Destination chargers, although often blocked by other vehicles. Staff were helpful.

Washroom shower floor had multiple hairs, the corners of shower were dirty and stained with some fluid. I had to prove to the clerk at the front desk my concerns making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was to return this same week for the end of my trip for 2 nights and I have cancelled and booked at the Marriott instead.

We arrived at 315 (check in is at 3) and we were told the room was not ready and to wait 5 minutes. 30 minutes later we were told our room was ready. Once we went to our room it smelled so bad of sewage. We didn’t bother to say anything because we were so tired and we thought it will go away. The second day the smell was worse. We use to stay here on our trips but that was the last time unfortunately

Our room was not very clean with garbage under the couch and dirty bed sheets for the pull out bed , when requested new sheets they gave us sheets that were to large , it Was not quiet at 5 am kids were running up And down the hallway yelling .

We've stayed here several times over the past few years. Recently was a short two day stay but it wasn't the greatest experience. Firstly, we paid for a high-floor room and requested a quiet room to do day-work. The room we were given was one with a connecting door to the next room. Naturally these type of rooms can have sound travel more easily, and unfortunately the next door family had a crying baby. Secondly, breakfast quality and variety has dwindled. No fruit offering except for bananas. Plain oatmeal. Hard burnt omelettes, chewy sausage, and stale eggo waffles. Lastly, on our last day, we noticed the duvet had various brown stains. We hadn't bothered to check as usually the sheets are clean and fluffy, but the top sheet had pulled back enough that we finally noticed. Service though was what we were expecting and the internet was stable the whole time at 18-20 mbps up/down.

We enjoyed Hyatt Place and would definitely come again. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very friendly staff. There was a bad smell on the 5th floor that affected the hallway and both rooms we stayed in. The floor was dirty, as were the towels we were given. Some still had make-up stains on them

My only issue with this hotel is the major lack of electrical outlets. There are none by the bed at all and only two under the tv that are accessible. Kind of an issue when there are four people in a room and everyone needs a charger.

There are 2 night clubs next to the hotel. the music was loud starting from 10.30 pm until 6 am in the morning. if you are looking for peaceful rest, might need to reconsider

On our second night room service was not available. Apparently the chef called in sick. Couldn’t even have a virgin Caesar made. All the cleaning people were always on their phones. Not a very friendly atmosphere.

Not great customer service the front desk was rude and don't explain the charges correctly so you think you are getting scammed. I didn't realize they charged for more than 2 people in a room which was not told to me onlined when i booked not a happy camper seems like add so many extra fees when they should tell you in advance what you are paying for .Came back from the casino late all the stalls Infront of hotel were full and people were double parked and I tried parking by front entrance as was told to park on the backside of the building in the alley I didn't feel comfortable parking there . I will not stay there again

Modern, well kept and maintained hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Very impressed. Will definitely stay again. However the hotel is in an area of the city that is undesirable and there are a lot of street people hanging around.

Sunday breakfast was excellent. Monday breakfast was poor. On Monday there was no food, no cutlery, no bread, no fruit, there was coffee, but no lids for the cups. On Monday the staff weren’t effective. One woman seemed to be doing all the work while a man followed her around doing nothing.

The side desk on one side of the bed was broken upon check-in; I was told it will be fixed the next day, but never got fixed. The breakfast was also a hit or miss as they kept running out of basic food items (like eggs) every day of my 3 day stay.

We really enjoy staying here, the kids love the pool and we enjoy the breakfast options, however this stay everything was empty, ketchup, coffee, juice, cutlery, bowls and more. The staff kind of stood around until someone asked for more and they only brought that out. I realize they were busy and probably new staff, so we tried to be understanding and patient. My biggest complaint is the lack of parking and the sketchy area the hotel is in.

This is a lovely hotel. Breakfast on weekend excellent including lovely scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit, etc. Breakfast during week - not as good as poor sausages and recycled boiled eggs into supposed scrambled eggs one day. Staff, other than person who checked us in, (very nonchalant and non smiley) were super friendly and kind. Overall room was nice and king sized bed very comfy. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
