Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa

This hotel has hidden assets that could make it a world-class resort on Phu Quoc Island.　With just one more step, it could become world-famous.　Personally, I don't want anyone to know about it. Cottage-type resort hotels are not uncommon in Phu Quoc, but a combination of a beachfront location on a small mountain with an infinity pool and rooms is rare. Even when they are rare, the cottages are often modern, lacking authenticity and failing to appeal to Western or developed tourists. I think this is a genuinely wonderful resort hotel where you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise on the patio. At the Green Bay Resort, we have an old-fashioned architectural style that I believe will satisfy tourists. In addition, the spa and pool are very satisfactory. Combined with the fact that it is not crowded, it has a secluded resort feel. The problems can be summarized as follows: 1. Hot water capacity: 2. Limited dinner and breakfast options. 3. Beach clarity The beach is well-maintained, so it is understandable that there is nothing that can be done about the water quality. The first issue is critical. Despite the deep moated bath, the water cools down without reaching even 10 cm. We wait until the heat tank heats up, but it takes almost two hours, and the accumulated water is cold by then. In short, it's impossible to enjoy a Japanese-style bath with water kept at nearly 40°C until the end of the day. We stayed in an ocean facing villa with an infinity pool. It was larger than I expected and you could do laps in the pool, when I was expecting more of a plunge pool. Amazing views and so peaceful. You can borrow snorkelling gear and kayaks from the beach kiosk and they are good fun to use in the sheltered bay. We only ate at one of the two restaurants but the food choices there were delicious. We had the booking that included afternoon tea and airport transfers but on arrival we discovered it also included a bottle of wine, a free massage treatment at the spa each and laundry and mini bar. Contact with reception was via WhatsApp which was very efficient. Service as great. Staff were lovely. It was all really relaxing.

Green Bay is absolutely fantastic. We had a beach front bungalow and it was even more beautiful than it looked in the pictures! The entire resort is immaculate. The spa treatments were superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they made me feel really special on my birthday. The pools are both stunning and there are lots of activities like kayaking, ball games, snorkling etc. The food is great. The eco-friendly elements are amazing. The wildlife is gorgeous - birds, butterflies, geckos, crabs. If I had one negative it's that there's nothing to do after 10pm - but if you just want to relax in a stunning setting that is so much more than your average resort, this is the place to do it.

Fantastic small boutique hotel with lovely staff. The food was great especially, the breakfast and dinner options. A huge thanks to Vinh, Thu (lady with glasses) for looking after us at the restaurant and the entertainment team for providing the kayaks, snorkel and badminton equipment. The spa was also wonderful. The yoga in the forest was also one of the best classes I’ve had at a hotel.

5/5 en todo. Lugar idílico y bien cuidado. Habitaciones espaciosas, limpias y acogedoras. En nuestro caso salías directamente a la playa, un lujazo. Personal muy amable. Puedes hacer de forma gratuita kayak, snorkel, tenis y bicicleta. El desayuno muy bueno. Sin duda muy recomendable, la habitación te permite desconectar absolutamente de todo… Es como un paraíso. Además te llevan de forma gratuita al aeropuerto.

What a beautiful resort in hart of nature. Because it is rain seoson now, some facilitoes are not running but it was enough to relax for few days. Steffs are friendly and responce immediatly with various channels. We ate almost every meal in the main restaurant and food was nice. You can meet some insects in your room or balconey, but remember that you are spending your special moment with true nature. Do not go anywhere to see sunset. Tiki bar, even it is shut down cause of to much rain, is a best plce to enjoy romantic sunset. Must recommend.

The resort does have free shuttle from/to the airport which you must notify them at least 48 hrs in advance. It also has free shuttle to the Duong Dong market but you have to book it at least 24 hrs in advance. The property is large and they closed down the restaurant near our room. The weather was very hot (38-40 C) when we were there so it was a task to walk to the restaurant at the other end of the resort for food. They do have small carts to drive us around if needed. The free breakfast was delicious and had plenty options for you to choose from, Western cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine. Their noodles never failed me. And they do try to change the menu a bit. However, you have to pay for lunch and dinner still and they are very expensive. We enjoy our stay at the resort but not sure if we will be back.

Fantastisk resort som vi varmt kan rekommendera. Lugnt ställe där relax, sol och bad är fantastiskt. Personalen supertrevlig, rummen rena fräscha och snygga rent estetiskt. Finns faktiskt inget som drar ner betyget.

The seafront villa is clean and the location is good, and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and changes every day, but dinner is a little lacking in salt and pepper. It's a bit far from the night market, so it's better to rent a scooter.

The resort was like paradise. Every little detail was well thought out and beautiful, The staff were friendly, welcoming and hard working. The beach was beautiful and very clean. The food was lovely. All in all it was paradise!

Manager Cindy made a special effort to connect with us several times over the course of our stay, lovely swimming pools, nice sandy beach, delicious food at the restaurants, we had an ocean-view villa with its own pool, an outdoor tub & an outdoor shower. Negatives: ants in our room and twice in our bed. Ugh! We mentioned it to the staff after our first night but still had ants up to the last of our 5 night stay. I was surprised that the manager did nothing more than apologize and thank us for being so nice about it. When you pay a lot for a room in a higher end resort, I would expect to have gotten a discount on my accommodation.

Gorgeous property! My villa had the perfect view and felt so private. The whole property was calm and quiet and the yoga class was amazing

Vi bodde i en Ocean Pavilion med Private Pool i Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa i 10 dager! Oppholdet var fantastisk og absolutt noe vi vil anbefale videre! Hele resorten er paradisaktig! Og spesielt stranda er sånn som man ser for seg en paradisøy. Ett av få steder som faktisk er finere i virkeligheten enn på bilder. Rommene/hyttene var også veldig fine. Enkle, men fine. Spesielt "tretopphyttene" med eget basseng (Ocean Pavilion med Private Pool) var spesielt eksotiske og private. De som jobber der er også ekstremt hyggelige, ikke pågående, men de er der "at your service". 10 minutter fra Green Bay med taxi ligger Grand World, VinWonders, Golfbane, Safari og mye mye mer. Så her får du eksklusiviteten av å føle at du bor på en "øde øy", mens du har et stort aktivitetstilbud/by-tilbud bare 15 minutter unna! Hvis du vil på en skikkelig "get away" med noen du er glad i, så anbefaler jeg dette stedet!

The Forest Private Pool villas are wonderful. The design and space are beautiful. The dining options are brilliant and all delicious. The staff cannot do enough for you. I didn't want to leave!

The grounds were beautiful, the room was superb (ocean view with pool, well worth the extra cost), the staff were all delightful and the food was good. We had a lovely, peaceful 5 days. We went into Duong Duong once, it was interesting but we were so glad to be staying somewhere quiet.

Super schönes Hotel für europäische Reisende. Kostenloser Flughafentransfer. Ein großer Gecko im Zimmer wurde „fachmännisch“ gefangen (beim 2. Versuch). Ansonsten schöne Anlage. Sehr gefallen haben uns die Freiluft Restaurants. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön und privat. Man fühlt sich sehr sicher und alle kümmern sich toll um einen (per WhatsApp Chat).

We had an amazing stay at the Green Bay resort. The staff are all excellent and attentive, the food at the Gio restaurant is great and we ate there multiple times. The amenities at the beach like snorkelling and kayaking are super fun. Highly highly highly recommend, we will be back!

The property was immersed in the nature, surrounded by jungle and right at the water. The water was very clean and warm.

Beautiful location and facility to relax, swim in the sea or pool, enjoy a nice cocktail and sleep in a beautiful cabin surrounded by trees with a seaview.

상상이상으로 너무 좋았어요 15개월 아가랑 같이 묵었는데 아기도 넘 좋아했어요 도심에서 벗어나 푸꾸옥''자연 그대로를 느낄수있는곳이예요 좀 외진곳에 있는데 그래서 더 좋았어요 유명한 리조트들 북적거리고 정신없는데 여긴 쉼 그자체였어요 한국인들 많이 없고 조용하고 여유있고 음식도 너무 맛있었고 무엇보다 모두가 너무 친절해서 정말 대접받고 온 기분입니다 특히 레스토랑에 낟자직원분 너무 친절하시고 프로페셔널하셔서 오래 기억에 남을것같아요 마사지도 너무너무 좋았습니다 1박만한게 너무 아쉬워요

awesome. serene. peaceful. everything is great. if you want to be close to the action, then it is too secluded, but any easy taxi ride.

The hotel and beach are beautiful, but the service (mostly on the food and beverage side) truly needs to be lifted to meet the minimum expectations.

“Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, was uns direkt wohlfühlen ließ. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die gesamte Anlage waren sehr sauber und gepflegt – ein großes Plus! Das Essen war qualitativ hervorragend und hat geschmacklich überzeugt. Einzig die Auswahl der Speisen könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Alles in allem aber ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.”

Lovely secluded resort. Perfect for some R&R after travelling through Vietnam. Breakfast is excellent, as is the quality of the evening meals, although the menu could be expanded a little to include more Vietnamese dishes. Loved our stay.

Can’t say enough good things about staying at Green Bay. It has a quiet, relaxed vibe while still offering plenty to do. The rooms are luxurious and clean but not pretentious. The staff are all friendly and don’t try to sell you extras. The food quality is high end at a reasonable price. It’s far from the airport so get the shuttle. Better value that other hotels in Phu Quoc. Highly recommended! We will be returning.
