Savoy Hotel Myeongdong

Good location, near bus stops and mrt stations. Also offers coin laundry at the ground floor and there's a water dispenser on every floor

Great location near public transportation and popular site seeing areas. Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of Myeongdong area. Laundry facilities were outside with two washers and dryers.

明洞の中心地に位置しており、ショッピングや外食に大変便利でした。 フロントの方はもちろんですが、清掃の方もすれ違うたびに笑顔で挨拶をしてくださり、大変快適でした。 フロントの方は日本語で対応くださり、安心して過ごせました。 4泊しましたが、毎日の清掃も行き届いていました。 歯ブラシ、シェーバー、寝巻きはありませんので、ご持参いただくのがよさそうです。持参し忘れても、1階のコンビニで購入できますので、特に問題はありませんでした。また明洞にステイする際は、こちらのホテルに泊まりたいと思います。

The hotel has a few amenities.so we have to prepare some amenities for traveling.but instead the hotel is very convenient for shopping.

とにかく立地がサイコーで、リピしてます。 一階にはコンビニがあって便利さこの上ない。 次回からももちろん利用させていただきます。

スタッフの対応がとても良かったです。 ウェルカムウォーターは初日だけでしたが、廊下にウォーターサーバーがあってとても便利でした。 ホテル1階に電子レンジがあるのがとても嬉しかったです。 1つきになったのは、廊下からの声が凄く聞こえます。

明洞の中に位置し　仁川空港行きのバス停、地下鉄4号線に近く便利です。スタッフも日本語出来ます。実に親切です。部屋の空調が下置きで、冷たい風を気にされる方ですと対策が必要です。コンビニもホテル出口にあります。

ホテルの下にコンビニが有り便利でした。

明洞の駅から数分のホテルで、とても便利でした。 入り口付近にまつ毛パーマやネイルのお店があり、安くて仕上がりも早かったです。 2Ｆにはカフェ、1Ｆはコンビニがあります。 ホテルは中庭を挟んでコの字？になっており、各階のどこかの曲がり角付近の壁に埋め込んだようにウォーターサーバーが設置されているので、探せばあります（目の前まで行かないと見つからないかも）水は買わずに助かりました。 雨の日も、スタッフに言えば傘を貸してもらえました。 清掃も毎日していただきました。 バスタブ付きで設備は古いですが、とてもいいホテルだと思います。

駅近く、明洞のエリアにあるけど静かでショッピング、美容、食事など充実している。ウォーターサーバーが各階にあるので助かりました。 毎回このホテルに泊まっています。

訪室時に蚊が飛んでいました。部屋がとても埃っぽくて鼻が痒くなり、喉がイガイガしたので空気清浄機を作動したら、数時間後には少しマシになりました。 何度か利用させていただいてますが、今回は不快でした。 スタッフの対応は普通でした。 立地が良くて安価ですが、次回利用は検討しようかなと思います。

立地は申し分なく、フロントの方は日本語が話せてチェックインや荷物を預けるのにもスムーズに行えました。 ただ、部屋に入りセットされていたカップを使おうとしたとき、ピンク色の口紅がべったりとついていて驚きました。スプーンも汚れていました。交換してもらいましたが、他に清掃もきちんとされているか不安になりました。

Clean hotel, except the shower curtain had some mold on it. Good location, nice helpful staff.

韓国へは年に４回程旅行します。立地等からいつもサボイでお世話になっています。今回はバスタブの中に髪の毛が落ちていました。とても残念です。

お風呂に、髪の毛。 マグカップにも、髪の毛。 不快でした。

I stayed at Savoy Hotel for 4 nights.1st and 2nd nights in Room 812, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet, but it improved after we used air spray. There is a step to enter the washroom is quite high compared to Room 811, which might be difficult for elderly. Unfortunately, the main issue was the toilet clogged twice in one day after poo poo. The first time happened in the morning, but the engineer fixed it quickly after we reported it. However, it clogged again at midnight, but the engineer had already left for the day, we had to wait until morning and use a nearby cafe's toilet. We requested to change room, and the staff arranged quickly, bringing the key to our room within two hours. We didn’t put any tissue into the toilet, but I have no idea why it clogged twice in one day. In Room 811 (3rd and 4th nights) also a bad smell from the toilet. There were some used items left in the fridge that were not ours. The tap in the bathtub was broken, but it was repaired without us to report it. the wall light was broken. the hair dryer in Room 811 was new and had options for heat and cool settings. Overall, besides the issue with the clogged toilet in Room 812, the other problems were minor and did not affect our trip. Good location on the main street, easy to find and access various places. many coffee shops, restaurants, and fashion shops nearby, and it is close to the airport bus station and subway. It took about 10 mins walk to reach department stores.

客室も清潔でした。スタッフのかたも、とても親切で良かったです。アメニティも良かったです。

daily cleanup, always clean the entire room even the bathroom spotless. there is a convenience laundry machine below the hotel.

3泊しましたが、毎日タオル交換と掃除を綺麗にしていただきました。シーツ交換は不要としてたのに、綺麗にメイキングしてくださりありがとうございました。

清潔で大変良かった

Basically you are in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street, if you like mingling with the crowd! You can hear the night life from your room but not too loud to prevent you from sleeping. If you are a couple, I suggest getting a twin bed and use the second bed as storage for your luggage. The rooms are small.

部屋は２人で泊まるには狭かった。 各フロアに無料の給水スポットがあるのはよかった。 フロントの方は日本語ができてよかった。 一階のコンビニエンスストアの店員は無愛想で、レシートをくれなかった。 明洞の中心部で、客室は外の音が少しうるさかった。 客室が狭く、スーツケースを開くのに困った。 料金は妥当なので、また、利用したい。

明洞の中でロケーションが抜群に良いです。下にコンビニ、コインランドリーがあり便利です。部屋は広めです。バスタブがありますが小さい為子供と2人では窮屈でした。ダブルの部屋でしたがベッドが狭くこちらも窮屈でした。サービスのお水は初日しかもらえませんでした。連泊割引はないので　泊数分頂けると嬉しいです。

Staff are great! Friendly, helpful and sincere. The rooms are spacious which was great for my trip as my friend and i had 4 huge luggage with us. The location is in the heart of myeongdong which is extremely convenient especially with the convenience store right below. The only caveat would be the toilet; i personally prefer if the hotel could provide toothbrush and toothpaste, and the rooms are not soundproof so whenever there are other guests in the corridor you can hear their conversation, and there was also a protest going on at another hotel nearby which could be heard in my room. Thankfully I am not affected by noise and had a good sleep regardless. Lastly, I would recommend others to bring universal adapters as the three pin charging mount is not well installed. Overall, for the price point, convenience and comfort I would definitely come back and stay at Savoy Hotel. Staying here for 9 nights was a pleasant experience :)

全体的に古めですが、必要な設備も整っているし、とにかく立地が良いです。 部屋が少し暗いのと、若干夜はごみ収集や工事などうるさい場合もあります。 スタッフの方の接客はこちらから質問などすれば親切ですが、必要最低限という感じです。

明洞駅からすぐで便利👍ホテル出た瞬間ショッピングが楽しめる😆夕方から目の前に明洞夜市場、屋台がいっぱい並んでる😊夜うるさいかなと思ったけど案外気にならなかった👍上の階で子供が多分部屋で走りまくって暴れてた方が気になったかな💦 部屋は綺麗だった😄一つ残念だったのは枕元のコンセントが使えたり使えなかったり壊れかけていた😭 2泊しましたがちゃんとルームクリーンきてくれました👍また旅行行く時はリピするかも😊

総合的に、スタッフの対応や、清掃も合格です。買い物や他に移動する時もアクセスが良いので、いつも定宿にするのですが、難点は、普通のツィンだと部屋が狭いので、スーツケースを開くのにやっとだということくらいです。

The room looks dated and had a bit of smell. Nevertheless, it was VERY spacious that it could fit another bed. Location is A+

宿泊は7階, Superior Twin, 29 m2, city view, 7連泊 以下、部屋の感想については自分が泊まった部屋の場合についての記載です。ほかの部屋の場合には状況が異なる可能性があります。 ■良かった点 1.\t明洞のホテルで駅近 2.\tスタッフ日本語堪能 3.\t窓は二重ガラスで防音性が高い（City Viewなので窓の外は繁華街だったが昼も夜も窓の外からの音は遮断されて気にならなかった） 4.\tウォシュレット付き 5.\t宿泊階にウォーターサーバー・製氷機あり 6.\t内装が新しい 7.\tホテル隣にコンビニあり (GS25) 8.\tホテル隣にコインランドリー (洗濯機2台、乾燥機2台) 9.\t受付付近に体重計あり\u3000(帰りの荷物の重さ量れる) ■改善してほしい点 1. エアコンが古くて、かつ、壁内ビルトイン型ではない (室温設定できるが冷房設定温度を上回ると完全OFFから完全ONに切り替わるため、静かな状況から急に大きな音がしはじめる。夜中に何度も起きてしまった。対策として、夜寝る前に十分温度を下げておき、寝ている間は冷房を完全にOFFにした。) 2. 浴室の換気機能 (換気扇がないようで湿気がこもり蒸し暑い。対策として日本から持ち込んだ充電式ハンディファンを使用したら十分換気できた。) 3. 内廊下からの騒音 (部屋のドアに防音加工がされていないようで、内廊下で普通に話をされると、その声が内廊下の壁で反響して部屋の中にそのままの音量で筒抜け。夜遅くに内廊下からの声がうるさくて眠れないときがあった。ホテル側へのお願いとしては、エレベーター内への張り紙として、夜８時から朝８時までは内廊下では静かにしよう、寝ている人たちへの配慮をしよう、など気配りを促すポスターなどをしてほしい。) 4. 古い蛇口やシャワーヘッド (単純に古い。値ごろなものでよいので新しくしてほしい。) 5. 歯ブラシ・歯磨き粉は無し (受付の人に聞いたら、ホテルからの提供はないとのこと。日本から持参またはコンビニで購入必要。注意点としてホテルの紹介欄に明記してほしい。)

Everything was good esp the location but the aircon is noisy

Our first trip to South Korea and it was almost ruined because of our bad experience with this hotel. On our first night we had to argue with hotel staffs to lower the temperature of the air-conditioners because we were feeling very warm and uncomfortable. At first we thought the air-conditioner was just not working properly but afterwards the hotel staffs admitted they purposely controlled all air-conditioners to be set at a specific temperature to save power and cost. They even had the audacity to ask us to open the windows and use an electric fan. Only after I asked for a full refund when they finally fixed the air-conditioner. On the other hand, the hotel is really just old and the rooms are very small. You could also hear the noise from outside and it was LOUD. There should be other better hotels in Myeong-dong. The breakfast situation is also bad. There are literally just 2 options for breakfast and among the 2, only 1 is edible. So you could just imagine eating the same food again and again for breakfast for your entire stay (we booked 8 nights). We gave up breakfast after just 2 days.

Lovely hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff! Cleaning staff were very kind and helpful. Myeongdong is a lovely area to stay in and the convenience of access to shops, cafes, restaurants and public transport was great. Would recommend and will be visiting again!

Très bon séjour au SAVOY hôtel, cependant très à cheval sur les horaire d’arrivées et très peu accommodant, mais sinon très souriant et agréable.

駅に近い為、交通の便がとても良かったです。 また、明洞の中にあるので、買い物等にとても良かったです。 スタッフも日本語が出来るので、不自由無く過ごすことが出来ました。

The staffs were friendly; however not everyone spoke English. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed that didn’t have any face towels and the towels were very rough. Also, we couldn’t change the temperature in our room although we tried to adjust the settings. It got really hot at night and even the worker there didn’t know how to help us with this issue.

Check in was super easy, staff was very friendly we were up to our room in record time. Our flight came in at 8:40pm so by the time we came to the hotel (riding the airport limo bus) it was almost 11pm. It was so convenient having a GS25 convenience store connected to the hotel and we were able to grab food and eat ramen at the store as it was equipped with hot water dispenser, a microwave and a little dining area to eat. There are maps available in the lobby for those who needed it. Staff always greeting us as we came and went. For convenience there were magnets to be placed on your door letting the staff know if you wanted your room made or if you didn't want to be disturbed. The hotel was within the shopping street and night market, vendor's for food would be out by 4pm. Restaurants and stores were all over. There were red angels *(folks in red shirts and caps) in the streets to help you with maps and guide you where you want to go. The hotel had a scale in the lobby entrance so you can check if your luggage was within the 23kg/50lbs limit. At our early morning check out another friendly staff was there when we returned our rooms and thanked us and bade us a safe flight home. Thank you Savoy Hotel for an awesome stay, we will choose you again for our next visit to South Korea!

Great location!

何回も利用していますが、立地が最高です。施設は古い感じがしますが毎日綺麗に掃除していただいていたので心地良く過ごすことできました。 フロント他全てのスタッフさんが親切でしたし、日本人には泊まりやすいと思います。

It's located inside Myeongdong, but close to subway station. It is a very busy part of town especially at night, but my room was located facing the courtyard, so it was not noisy at all. Street food and shops are right outside the main entrance, so that was nice for any cheap late-night snacks. Staff were polite and spoke enough English to get by. Rooms were a bit on the smaller size but for its location its good trade off.

明洞のホテルを探していたときに口コミがよかったので予約してみました。明洞の中心街にあり駅から近く、立地がとてもよかったです。ショッピングもすぐ行ける、色々荷物が増えてもすぐに置きに行ける点がすごくよかったです。入口すぐにコンビニもあるので不便はありません。スタッフの方も優しく、こちらに泊まってよかったです。次韓国に行く時もまたこちらに泊まろうと思います。

We booked this hotel to be a base from which to explore Seoul and it was perfect for that. Right in the heart of a busy area of Seoul so plenty to see on your doorstep, shops, restaurants and street food stalls are all around. Walkable distance to the N tower and the palace. Great location.

Savoy is conveniently located to attractions in Seoul. You are right there steps away from Myeongdong night market, restaurants, shopping, and subway station.

Highly recommended! Great location - near Myeongdong subway and steps from Airport Limousine bus stop. Spacious room and bathroom. Water dispenser available so no need to buy water.

Friendly staff. Street food just as you get out of the hotel. They have a café in the hotel, but it has average food but has excellent coffee. Convenience store at the bottom of the hotel. Lots of food options and very close to public transport.

フロントも親切で、部屋も清潔でレートの良い両替屋があるからそこに行った方がいいとか教えてくれた。 中のワッフル屋もおいしく空いてるので穴場。

Its location is very convenient. It is in the heart of Meongdong, the shopping district. Breakfast is excellent.
