Superbe hotel avec de beaux volumes, un tres bon confort, de beaux services: plage, piscine, massages excellents, restaurant... l hotel se situe a 2 pas de tous les commerces, restaurants et plage de Kay Bae. Petits bemols sur le petit dejeuner : le café n'est vraiment pas bon (soluble) et le thé meriterait d etre proposé en sachet, et pour la piscine trop peu de transats.

A lovely hotel in the middle of Kae Bae Beach on Koh Chang. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, and massage shops all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is great, with most (all?) rooms facing a gorgeous pool, or out towards the sea. My room was nice and large, with a great balcony that was great to sit on, or even lie down on a large sun bed. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. And be sure to take advantage of the restaurant’s happy hour (which lasted something like 6-7 hours!), with a long list of cocktails to choose from…

Very beautiful, unique building with Zen type room, minimalist but Zen, beautiful pool, however very few sun chairs to find available. Beach all big rocks, no sandy beach, and not so great for swimming.

I stayed with my family and brother family for five days. Very nice and friendly staff. Pool was very long and nice. Even if it is in need of some maintenance. The only disappointment was they closed the main restaurant by the water. We where looking forward to eat breakfast and also having dinner by the sunset.

The hotel is close to bars, cafes and restaurants. It has a nice pool and is on the sea front. No actual beach whilst we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great happy hours!

The design of this hotel is like something from Grand Designs, high ceilings and walls all pointing towards the lovely pool and beach area to watch the great sunsets. However, rooms are a little tired and dated, all the metal balcony railing were corroded, and there was a musty smell in our room.

Room was pretty dirty and dark. Towels and coffee weren’t replaced each day. The website had also crashed on booking and the hotel refused to give me a refund on one of the two rooms I booked. I even asked to me moved to another room due to the noisy air con in our room and we were refused and told the other room had now been given to another guest despite paying for it. We’ll be avoiding in the future and will stick to the retreat just up the road

체크인시 직원들 응대가 편하고 좋았다. 우연인지 7년전 사용했던 방과 층만 다를뿐 같은뷰였다. 2층이라 오히려 수영장과 가까워 좋았다. 다만 방바닥에 이물감이 있어서 내가 직접 젖은 수영장 타월로 한번 닦고 사용했다. 동남아의 오래된 호텔 방들 특유의 습한 냄새?는 여전했으나 특별히 불편하진 않았다 에어컨 소리가 컸다. 적당히 온도를 낮춘후 F1 또는 FA로 조정하면 조금 덜하다. 하지만 미니 냉장고 소음도 꽤나 있었고 방음이 안되어 옆방 이웃 운이 안좋으면 불편할 수 있다. 민감하지 않다면 넘어갈 수 있다. 조식도 좋았다. 뻥 뚤린 외부라 날벌레나 새들이 찾아드는 것은 어쩔수 없다. 모기가 있으니 뷰나 음식까지의 동선을 고려하시되 선풍기 근처가 좋을것 같다. 화장실도 깔끔하고 냄새도 없이 좋았다. 샤워기가 다소 원하는대로 되지 않았지만 적응해서 썼다. 세면대 전등이 나가 있었던 것은 체크아웃때 알았다. 방이 전반적으로 어둡긴하다. 수영장 수질이 과거에 비해 안좋아진 것 같다. 물속에서 전방 시야가 약 4-5m이고 그 넘어는 잘안보인다. 하지만 적당히 깊고 길어서 시간 잘맞추면 혼자 유유자적 노닐수 있다. 직원들이 하나같이 매~~~~~~우 친절하다. 부족한 영어 실력도 알아서 맞춰서 응대해주시고 해변, 리조트 배경으로 독사진 요청하니 수 십장씩 찍어주신다. 리셉션 여직원들(인턴쉽 중인 학생들)도 전부 예쁘고 착하다. 특히 이싼에서 오신분은 늘씬하고 미인이다. 코창에서 본 태국여자들중 젤 예쁜듯하다. 뜨랏공항에서 왕복으로 리무진 결제한줄 알았는데 편도였고, 리셉션 여직원께 업체전화 부탁드려서 다시 편도 예약할 수 있었다. 사실 혼자만의 여행이라 룸컨디션에서 부족한 부분들은 딱히 문제시 삼을 필요도 없었고 불편할 것도 없었다. 다만 기대핬던 수영장 수질이 옛날보다 많이 혼탁해진듯하여 많이 아쉽다. 그러나 혹시 연인이 생겨 같이 온다면 글쎄... 옆에 더 칠이나 가야푸리가 더 비싸지만 거기로 가볼까 싶다. 해변 The spa에서의 마싸지는 꼭 받아보시길! 왕언니 느낌나는 분께 받았는데 압도 쎄고 시원했다. 파도소리와 해변 바람, 비가 내리면서의 자연 소음들이 심신을 편안하게 해준다. 갑작스런 비가 내림에도 카바나 위로 큰나무가 있어 큰문제 없다. 90분에 500 baht. 외에도 여러 코스가 있다. 진짜 길가 마싸지샾이랑 가격비교 하지말고 일단 받아보시길 로비에 투어 책자 있고 예약도 리셉션 여직원들이 해준다. 길거리 업체보다 비싼지는 모르겠다. 아마 비싸겠지(추측) 그래도 문제 생기거나 변동 있으면 착한 여직원분들께 얘기하면 되니 편하다.

Overall the property is really nice. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. The room is spacious. We booked beachfront room and the view is very beautiful with the sunset. There was some dust and hair left in bathroom or on the table from previous guest. And the shower was annoying to control the shower and the warm shower. There was also smell from time to time from the drain. Breakfast is good with variety of options to choose. Still a good place to stay at as it’s also to easy to travel around.

the rooms were ok a bit old and worn, the problem was that they smelled of mold in the room. I told the staff about the smell but all they did was spray with odor spray which the smell disappeared after a short while. After my stay after 14 days my clothes started to smell strange. The breakfast was not much to brag about, when they ran out of food it took a long time to put out new food.... annoying. the staff in the restaurant were helpful but difficult to communicate with 😅 And You gonna think its next to the beach but its only rocks so the fact is you need to take taxi or bike everyday to reach a decent beach..

The place was probably 4 star in its day, but that day has long since past. Breakfast buffet was good, but additionally charged food/buffet was average at best. The "Private Beach" is not a beachm, its a wall where the waves crash against it and there is a man made attempt of a beach, so if you are looking for a beach holiday/break, as were we, then this is not for you. Cleaning was also hit and miss in that one day our toilet suddenly started overflowing and the cleaner came in amd mopped it, but then used the leaked water to mop through the whole room without so much as a hint of detergent.

Et super flot hotel, dog vågnede vi op den første morgen med kondensvand på gulvet efter aircon. Personalet reagerer hurtigt med optørring og en affugter. Da det gentager sig næste nat, bliver vi flyttet til den fineste suite med en stor undskyldning for besværet. Meget hjælpsom personale.

Very nice hotel with a very chill atmosphere. They will do everything to make your stay pleasant. We stayed here several times along the years. We got an upgrade and stayed in an amazing suite with beach view. It was very convenient with our small kids - and the room was so beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

L’hôtel est très bien. Les chambres familles avec 2 lits doubles sont suffisamment grandes et la salle de bain aussi. 5 e fois en Thaïlande mais première fois à Koh Chang. La plage depuis l’hôtel n’est pas facile. Pas de sable et il faut rester sur les transats de l’hôtel. On aime bien la tranquillité et les plages plutôt cosy. Juste à côté en sortant de l’hôtel sur la gauche vous pouvez vous rendre dans 2 petits restaurants de plages où vous pourrez rester tranquille, manger , boire , faire un jacuzzi. La cabana et le seaview. Prix plus que correct et plage au top. Niveau petit dej on a pas trop aimé. Mais nous sortions d’un super hôtel à Bangkok. Après il y a quand même ce qu’il faut. En tout cas emplacement idéal.

Allt var superbra. Det enda som man saknar är närhet till stranden. Det finns dock trappor direkt till havet men där får man gå försiktigt så man inte halkar på stentrapporna. Solnedgången var magisk från både hotellnumret och stranden. Rekommenderas.

A great hotel with eager staff. We had a family room which was excellent value for money and we organised a brilliant snorkelling excursion through reception. The pool is a real highlight - 40 metres long, warm and not too shallow. Whilst we couldn’t access the beach directly from the hotel it was a short walk to Kai Bae beach which is beautiful. There was a lot of removing on during our stay as it was the wet season but it didn’t bother us a bit and meant the hotel was quiet and the service excellent. We definitely return next time we visit Koh Chang.

the rooms were ok a bit old and worn, the problem was that they smelled of mold in the room. I told the staff about the smell but all they did was spray with odor spray which the smell disappeared after a short while. After my stay after 14 days my clothes started to smell strange. The breakfast was not much to brag about, when they ran out of food it took a long time to put out new food.... annoying. the staff in the restaurant were helpful but difficult to communicate with 😅 And You gonna think its next to the beach but its only rocks so the fact is you need to take taxi or bike everyday to reach a decent beach..

The place was probably 4 star in its day, but that day has long since past. Breakfast buffet was good, but additionally charged food/buffet was average at best. The "Private Beach" is not a beachm, its a wall where the waves crash against it and there is a man made attempt of a beach, so if you are looking for a beach holiday/break, as were we, then this is not for you. Cleaning was also hit and miss in that one day our toilet suddenly started overflowing and the cleaner came in amd mopped it, but then used the leaked water to mop through the whole room without so much as a hint of detergent.

Séjour de sept nuits en Deluxe beachfront. Arrivés avec 18h de retard, la chambre n était pas prête...ok. Puis, nous découvrons notre chambre en RDC, vue sur un mur. J' ai demandé à changer : 5h d attente supplémentaires. Bref. Sinon, petit déjeuner sympa. Grande piscine. Pas de plage. Problème d eau chaude dans les chambres. J' ai trouvé que ce n était pas si mal, mais un peu l usine. Se situe dans une rue très animée.
