Days Inn by Wyndham Blythe

You couldn't beat the price! The hotel was clean, service was great and pool & jacuzzi was clean and hot :)

I have stayed here many times. Considering it is Blythe, it felt clean and safe and I have never run into any issues. This year, there are no staff at the check in desk - it’s done by video call on a computer Kiosk. I missed talking to a human in person. Also, they made all the parking spots on once side EV, which made us have to park far from our room

It was 116 degrees outside and the ice machine was broken. They said it was being fixed/replaced at 6pm but lied. We stayed a second time 2 weeks later and still not fixed/replaced. Also there’s no bar or restaurant as advertised they said it’s been gone for years. However the rooms are clean and we felt safe

The econolodge across the street looked better. Ice machine broke. Gym equipment so old it’s barely usable. Room was ok

Called ask about pool towels he brought them to my room. Walked down to pool area only to find sign stating “pool closed until 9/13”. Why didn’t this manager know that. Tv very confusing to use. Only saw about 12 channels on Direct TV. Old place needs new furniture and fixing up outside.

We stopped here to take a break from a cross-country trip. We chose this hotel because of the breakfast and pool. The breakfast was decent. At 4 p.m. on a Wednesday, the pool had a loud drinking party with really inappropriate music, so we skipped that and stayed in the room. The room was very outdated, but it was quiet, and I felt safe, and it was a good price.

The Jacuzzi was like warm and not very relaxing because of this.

Booked this hotel only because it had a hot tub. To our massive disappointment it wasn't working. Water wasn't warm at all. So we called for help that night and the evening staff lady tried to help but what can she do. We're leaving a negative review for another reason. They had a "guy" coming in 9.30am the next morning... He was to look at it. Turns out the guy was completely clueless, didn't understand what he was supposed to do and instead of trying anything or calling for actual hot tub help, he proceeded to wash the pool deck instead. It was aggregating because we were waiting with our hopes up. We left disappointed.

Garbage from “ remodel “ everywhere and looks like it’s been there for weeks if not months. I stayed for a week and nothing moved. Laundry facilities out of order. Fitness room equipment out of order. Rusty bath tub. Painted grout.

Gross drip stain by the toilet paper that was never cleaned from last customer's. Some kind of women's make up on the pillow case, I dont think they wash it after the last customer. After looking at the breakfast we decided we should not eat what was offered for our own safety.

The check in guy did a good job but the actual hotel lacks good maintenance and higiene. The rooms have nasty smell of cigarette and/or humidity. The condition of the property is bad ans cannot believe people have recommended or give a good rating to this place. We ended up leaving and did not stay because of the bad smell that caused me allergies.

My room was absolutely disgusting. The bathtub and sink had dead bugs in them and filled with dirt.

Staff was helpful. Ro9m is clean and comfortable.

Floor was disgustingly dirty with trash, dust and sand, no one came to clean them . cleaners only took out 1 trash, sheets were stained.. toilets and tub were dirty they weren’t cleaned before we got there for sure . Refrigerator was dirty with brown stuff. WiFi continued to be out . Pool was gross and water was muggy the same trash was in the pool all three days. Our hotel key stopped working . Along with the party we were with. Very odd .

The staff was really nice and the rooms were pleasant and clean.

Stayed one night with my teenage son. First time staying there. Arrived around 11pm. Friendly lady checked us in. Informed us Wi-Fi wasn't working (no big deal for us). Parking was a challenge, as all spots near our room were taken by a group of motorcyclists (nice guys...we met some in the morning). Ended up parking along a wall. Room was totally adequate. Everything worked, including the AC and fridge. Nice hot shower. King bed was comfy for one, but soft. My son and I shared it, so every time he rolled over, I felt it and woke up. Would absolutely get room with two beds next time. Cell reception was very weak to non-existent (SOS only). Not sure if this is normal, or was related to the Wi-Fi issue, but that was a challenge. Breakfast was totally adequate, especially at this price. Overall, I was pleased with the stay and would consider staying again if necessary.

A fine place to stay overnight in Blythe. Good location. Clean, spacious room with a sofa, microwave and kitchen. Not exactly contemporary with electrical outlets; bathroom was worn but functional. Bed and pillows were squishy. Friendly and competent staff at check in. Average breakfast offerings but all appreciated. For the rate it’s a comparatively good deal. More than adequate we’ll lit parking. Recommend.

The stay was great as always but the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Still a pretty decent stay.

Staff very courteous & helpful. Carpet in room stained, heat mechanism very loud every time kicked in, heard noise from Interstate 10 traffic. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Did not sleep much due to traffic noise & especially noise of heater.

Overall the hotel was well maintained and clean. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable and the AC worked. The remote presence check-in was interesting, but ultimately not a problem. The only issue was the general condition of the permanent room fixtures (cabinets, chairs, tub). They were generally in need of some repair work even though they were technically functional. The condition of the tub with notable rust spots around the drains was particularly concerning if we were staying more than one night.

The room was fine for the value price. I liked it didn't have carpeted floors. Like the size of the fridge, plus it had a microwave. Liked that it had a grab bar in the shower/tub, as you don't have to be a certified handy-capped person to need something to assist balance. The bed wasn't the worst, but not as good as it could be as the mattress was lumpy with squeaking springs. However, I had never seen check-in via a screen in the lobby, talking to a person, who was probably in the Philippines (Correct me Days In by Wyndham if I'm wrong). It's good for the bottom line here, I'm sure. But it's quite impersonal, and you're told to leave your sign-in agreement in a bin on the counter - where others can access seeing it (reason for 2-stars for service). The other thing was the breakfast. It was the poorest hotel breakfast we'd encountered. The positive was you could make waffles - but when I'm on vacation, I don't want to cook. There was bacon, tiny muffins, tiny granola bars, cereal & bread/English muffin & a toaster for them. Plus the regular accompaniments. But the ambience there was terrible. If there's a television in the breakfast room (& there was) it's nice, relaxing to be viewing some fluff, like a typical morning show - like Good Morning America, etc. Instead of trying to eat brekkie along with the accompaniment of politics. I don't think we'd stay there again, but it could be fine if you're looking for a clean, bargain stay, with nearby restaurants.

My last day I stayed here the wifi didn’t work at all, very inconvenient.

The first room we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke . So we changed our room to one which was much better. In general the place is dated , old toilet and tub . The king bed was comfortable . The breakfast was really not appealing .

Around 11 pm, the people in the room next door started yelling and arguing…it went on for 3-4 hours. I tried going to the front desk to see if we could get a room change, no one was there…just a note saying they’d be back in 10 minutes. I checked back 3 times…still no one was there…yet the entrance was open and anyone could have walked in. I tried calling the phone number that was left on the note, but no one answered…just a message saying the person was not available! My daughter and I did not feel safe confronting the people who were fighting in the next room…so we just had to take it…things finally quieted down at around 2:30 AM…I complained to corp headquarters of the hotel…but never heard back!! I will never stay at this hotel again!

No staff at counter to help with issues. Virtual assistant with limited English comprehension. Terrible customer service - the breakfast was terrible.

The kiosk service was fine but they couldn’t get us keys for our room until an hour later. When we called the manager, he said it was going to be another hour. There was about 3-4 of us waiting, it wasn’t until we said we wanted a refund that the request to get us keys was rushed.

No staff on property to assist customers. The breakfast was terrible, and no one to assist.

I prefer to communicate with a live person one to one. Not someone in a room somewhere else on the planet! Also spend some money and hire an exterminator to tame down the cockroaches! Thanks

The stay was fine, except it was difficult to talk to the receptionist at times, because no one was present. I tried to get some money changed on Friday morning as we were getting ready to leave to provide some tip for the house cleaning staff. No one was at the counter and all I got was a video of a gentleman who told me that there was no one at the desk. So, my wife and I had to scrape together dollar bills and coins to leave.

Wonderful young man at front desk who went above and beyond helping with information, solving some issues with our Days Inn/ Wyndham plan, and getting us a room most suitable for my husband who had just recently injured his leg since we've made the reservations.

Excellent accommodations and the staff is AMAZING! Pilar, the lady at the front desk was attentive and exceptionally helpful.

It's your average motel that's ok for 1 night stay. All sinks, showers, and toilets could use a good glaze. Front desk staff is very nice, and there are places like Starbucks, Wendy's in the area.

Staff is always helpful and accommodating. Convenient, quiet spot right off the freeway to rest and recharge. Many dining options within walking distance. Highly reccomend!

Not bad for Blythe. Loud music across the street, which, I have been told, is endemic to the area. It settled down as the night went on. Otherwise, not that bad a place. 😊

Blythe to me seems like a place where some people are trying really hard and the rest aren't trying at all. I thought this hotel was in the trying category. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and surprisingly a lot of EV charging (not that it applies to me). The layout of the place feels like it's missing a few staircases and the surrounding streets felt a bit unsafe at night, but for a pitstop, this is pretty darn good.

Close to Freeway & Starbucks, Carpet was Dirty was ok for the night was not very nosey..

A very nice hotel, staff was very helpful. Quiet location, easy freeway access. Extending the breakfast time to 10:00 would be nice for travelers who are not early risers. Two blocks from the local Mexican restaurant, with Dollar General and a small bakery/deli next door.

Convenient

Hotel is in an area that is a bit of deserted. The area where are room was doesn't pain the picture of safety, however there is good lighting. The highway can easily be heard. The bed was creaky. We found 1 dirty towel in the rack, but the rest was ok. We stayed 1 night. The cook in the morning was entertaining, overly friendly and the food was acceptable. About 60 yards to the closest eating establishment.

My last stay here was OK. Bed is comfortable and the room is OK. AC works fine. I couldn't figure out the soap--was like trying to lather with a candle. This time, however, I was pretty disappointed. It's small things that ALWAYS happen when smaller entities are bought by bigger ones. Thanks Wyndam. Now it's just another small bit of suffering at a 30% higher cost. As if the two cent packet of coffee creamer and sweetener isn't cheap enough, the stir stick has been removed. Nothing in the room with which to stir coffee except my finger or my toothbrush. The new coffee is terrible. Breakfast from 5 AM to 9 or something like that. I went down at 8 AM and there were no plates, no eggs, no bread, no forks, no cereal and no attendant. You should just remove the whole breakfast thing. Better to just not have it if no one is going to GAF. But they're installing 15 Tesla chargers.

The breakfast is wonderful! Real eggs! Depending on the morning it's omelets, sausage (or bacon) , cereal, juice, one morning it was biscuits and gravy with eggs (different assortment of eggs). Moody is the chef's name and he is always hopping. Melissa is a delight at the front desk. For the value of a one night stay with free breakfast, this is hands down the best. One draw back and this does not pertain to the staff at all. The street next to the hotel tends to be a place were truckers park their semitrucks for the night (the freeway is close). This means throughout the night and early morning you can hear the semis coming and going. I just turn on the AC fan or my relaxation music on my phone and the problem is solved. I would return to this hotel every time I am in Blythe!

The "WORST" Breakfast of any hotel we stayed at during our 5-week roadtrip!! It was SO BAD, that we didn't even stay to eat there. We went to McDonalds and spent an extra $26.00!!!

Not what was advertised - no bar. Breakfast was very minimal.

Sheets were clean. Room was okay. No breakfast first morning. Limited choices & cleanliness in dining area a concern. Coffee was good & decaf too. Fur a reasonable hotel it was ok.

The front desk service was a TV representative. The breakfast was the worst I ever had. The one and only ice machine didn’t work. This place was filthy.

Overall it was pretty good. The only thing that was bad was the garbage outside of our room was terrible. Looked like the garbage can had not been emptied in quite a while. It was piled up alongside of the can. We went to breakfast at 8:10 am and there was no eggs available. They filled it up at 8:40. Breakfast was from 7 to 9.
