This hotel opened in Aug last year and it seems they’re still working out a lot of issues. During my stay, the fire alarm went off three different times (including very early in the morning twice), the pool was closed due to technical reasons, and the lifts had a wait of around five minutes. Add to this the surrounding landscape of total construction works and a less-than-salubrious neighbourhood and it made for a challenging stay. Things happen and the staff can’t be faulted for the alarms, construction or lifts, but the general insouciance and je-m’en-foutisme by the mostly very young staff give me pause about an upcoming stay in another Jost I had already booked. True, they did offer me breakfast as compensation, but if a hotel can’t deliver on the one thing it promises—a good night’s sleep—then what good is it, really? All in all, their style is on point, now they need to bring the substance.

The room was nice but frustrating that the fire alarm went off both mornings for false alarms which meant the water went out in our room and we couldn’t have a shower. Roof top pool wasn’t working and they said we could have a free cocktail but then couldn’t have it because the roof top had an event that you had to pay to go to. Breakfast was also pretty average.

Effectivement l’hôtel a une piscine, il est regrettable qu’elle soit ouverte jusqu’à 19.00. L’hôtel ne délivre pas de facture pour la nuitée si vous passez par une application comme hôtel.com, dernier point, le parking vous obligera à faire un peu de marche, environ 300 mètres. Pour le reste, établissement neuf, tout comme la literie et chambre, douche, grand écran TV, restauration légumes frais, dessert maison, viande de très bonne qualité, personnel souriant, agréable. Très bonne isolation, l’hôtel de Bordeaux est situé proche des lignes SNCF, aucun bruit. Je recommande l’établissement.

If your looking for a hotel in a good location with a simple and easy breakfast, clean and comfortable room & friendly staff then this is the place. The roof top wasn’t open which was a shame as this attracted us to the hotel. Don’t waste your time with the cocktails.

This it not a hotel, it's a hostel. If the place would've been described as a hostel, I would have been happy, however as a hotel it does not live up the standards you expect. Our first impression was a curtain in our that looked like it had gone through the trenches. The TV was crooked. And there was several hairs and dirt on the pillows and bed. We booked a triple room, where on the booking site it had been mislabeled as a double and a large single bed. There was nothing large about the single bed. The staff however was very accommodating about our complaints and did their best to make us happy. They changed our room twice, and cleaned the areas that we informed them were dirty. However, that shouldn't really have to be done in the first place. In the final room we were booked into Their only fault is perhaps their lack of knowledge regarding the room. Eg. did not know how to pull out the tv, did not know how to change temperature in the room. Later we were told that you could not adjust the temperature in the room, so we were offered to sleep with two duvets, which frankly you shouldn't have to do in a hotel.

Le séjour s’est bien passé. Par contre la Clim ne faisait pas de froid. Heureusement que nous avions pu ouvrir les fenêtres et qu’il a fait frais la nuit. Le petit déjeuner est top très peu d’hôtel proposent de se faire cuire des œufs. Par contre vraiment dommage que ce soit des œufs élevés au sols et non plein air (2FR)

We loved this place! Shame it was a short stop over as would of liked to stay for longer. We had a perfect room, generously sized for our family, 2 adults and 2 children 7yr + 8yrs. They found the bunkbeds fun and quirky and each bed had its own charging station ideal for the i-pads. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and we able to check in ahead of time. We didn't get to use the pool due to poor weather but it looked a great space-I think we need to come back, as the kids are still saying it was THE BEST HOTEL!

We had a fabulous stay and staff were very helpful, especially considering my limited French. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned, and I loved the shower. . We were also very grateful for the hotel's left luggage service. The hotel is very close to the railway station. This is beneficial in terms of check-in and checkout. Please be aware, however, the trains may disturb your rest.

Loved staying at this hotel. The room had enough space for 2 people, you can put your suitcases under the bed and it saves room! The bed was comfortable and the staff was really friendly & professional. The only thing I would say is that when I got there the room was at 28 degrees so it took a while to bring it down to 20 degrees. Other than that, it was perfect!

Heel leuk hotel in leuke buurt. De buurt is nog volop in opbouw. Vlot met OV naar het centrum maar ook bij het hotel voldoende opties.

Overall it was good for a quick stay near the train station. Clean. It’s in a developing part of the city so there is literally nothing around it but construction. Can be unsettling for some to walk to a night, it’s about a 5-8 min walk from the train station. Bed was comfortable enough and shower had good water pressure. Although drain didn’t work properly which is odd for a new build.

Le séjour s’est bien passé. Par contre la Clim ne faisait pas de froid. Heureusement que nous avions pu ouvrir les fenêtres et qu’il a fait frais la nuit. Le petit déjeuner est top très peu d’hôtel proposent de se faire cuire des œufs. Par contre vraiment dommage que ce soit des œufs élevés au sols et non plein air (2FR)

The room was nice but frustrating that the fire alarm went off both mornings for false alarms which meant the water went out in our room and we couldn’t have a shower. Roof top pool wasn’t working and they said we could have a free cocktail but then couldn’t have it because the roof top had an event that you had to pay to go to. Breakfast was also pretty average.

If your looking for a hotel in a good location with a simple and easy breakfast, clean and comfortable room & friendly staff then this is the place. The roof top wasn’t open which was a shame as this attracted us to the hotel. Don’t waste your time with the cocktails.

Nice breakfast but you need to come early as the food the last 45min is mostly gone and the breakfast room/restaurant is less clean. The Italian lunch is very nice but a great alternative is the food hall next to the hotel. Great that you can make your our food at a kitchen is available. Supermarked is 2min walk away. The pool is small and no beds but nice to have a dive when then weather is hot. Close to the train station and relative close to city but easy and cheap to use bus or tram. The room was nice sand the bed was good. Nice decoration and the use of the room was well spent. I would recommend this hotel/hostel- depending of which roona you choose.
