Wonderful staff. Very nice laundry room. Clean with little tables in the courtyard where you can enjoy some fresh air and have a coffee while you wait for the clothes. The rooms were great. Little balcony.

Really enjoyed our stay, everything you need incl comfy bed, kitchen with all utensils, good shower, gym, large windows, black out curtains. Really great location near lots of sights, river and cafes and bars, all in walking distance.

Excellent location. Only the parking was a little challenging. You have to enter by the back and follow steps to get in. Finding a spot to stop on narrow streets to get into the hotel to get these instructions is extremely difficult. It would be nice if they just sent them to you when you book and pay for parking online.

We had a split level suite, with a ver comfortable king bed upstairs and two half sofa beds available downstairs. No window upstairs and the one downstairs had no view. Pas de problem. Parking was very easy. The onsite guest laundry was also simple to use and washed/dried in one cycle per machine for 5e total. Nice! WiFi excellent. The TV would not work with a laptop over HDMI, but did permit local media playback from a FAT32 USB stick. Breakfasts were of a good standard, though without the usual eggs bacon sausage. Very quiet in the room, and great staff in the lobby. Would choose this property again.

StayCity was a vibrant hotel with kind staff, and good amenities. We used the gym and laundry with little to no wait times. We were happy with the size and cleanliness of our room, and the availability of coffee pods/wine glasses/openers. The hotel was near transit, and nightlife. Overall very happy with our stay!

Helpful staff, nice rooms - overall a very good stay. The beds could do with being pulled out and cleaned as we dropped a charger down the side and we're disgusted with how much dust and debris we found whilst reaching down. Fridge door was unbelievably squeaky and air con was rattly (but was still good and kept the room at a good temperature) My main issue is the fact that there is nowhere to dry laundered clothes other than in the dryer - not many of our clothes can be tumble dried so had to get creative and purchased some washing line from Carrefour. Other than the small issues everything was great and would definitely stay again! Location - 10/10

Did not use the small kitchen. The room is very small. The bathroom all in one shower is inconvenient. The staff were friendly & helpful. Their English was somewhat limited. Lots of games in lobby & green spaces were a welcome use of space. Walkable to Saint Catherine Street for shopping & restaurants. Taxi ride to train station was only 10 minutes.

The room was fine however the shower was faulty and would go freezing cold in the mornings and on some occasions stop altogether. The air conditions was also faulty which meant it was so loud that it could not be used. It sounded like a bag of spanner’s in a washing machine. The area that the hotel is in is not very nice, dirty, lots of homeless and did not feel safe in the dark. However in fairness only a 2-3 mins walk from the much nicer historic part of the town. Check in lady was rude.

Nice and clean Classic studio room. Only downside was the fact that our room was located on the ground floor and the sounds from people walking outside with their luggage could be clearly heard. So better ask for a room a bit higher or on the garden side. The location was good.

This is a newer hotel in a convenient location, and we appreciated the staff help and loved the hotel landscaping. The room is small (as expected) but unfortunately not well designed to accommodate two people with two bags. The WiFi worked less than half the time in our room so planning and reservations were inconvenient. We recommend for one person or a couple not spending much time to relax in the room, or if you need a good washer/dryer which is available in the building.

The hotel is good and functional, convenient location just minutes from the city center. The room was clean, and even though we arrived super late at night, the staff was kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. That said, I had booked a room for three people, and the hotel informed me ahead of time that the sofa bed wouldn’t be made, but they’d leave clean sheets and duvet. The sofa bed itself was really uncomfortable and cramped. I could actually feel the metal bars through the mattress, which made it tough to get a good night’s sleep. There’s also no elevator if you are staying on the first floor, not ideal if you have heavy luggage.

There was confusion when we arrived as the room we chose was not what we were assigned. Thankfully, due to the efficient staff, our room was changed the next day. The manager was excellent and made our stay a pleasure. The location of Staycity is great, so I recommend the accommodation highly. In general, the rooms are clean and well maintained (our shower tray however had a crack in the centre of the tray). I would be careful with the Expedia website which can be disingenuous when choosing a room. I will know always take screenshots if I am choosing a room on the Expedia website, as I do not want to arrive at a venue again and have to justify why my room needs changing again. Be aware of Expedia booking system.

Arrived around midnight and had already checked in online but staff there to explain everything. Very clean room and bed was so comfortable and so were pillows. Facilities in room v good. Didn't take breakfast. Good location as near town centre but felt slightly ofput as lots of graffiti in Bordeaux and nearby main road had some undesirables.

Very small room. Clean. For the same suite category, they have different accomodations, some with a very small balcony (French balcony), others with a full balcony and others with Terasse (patio). They gave us the smallest one, regardless of the fact that occupancy was low. Another thing to consider is the location. Pretty close to everything, however on a very dirty little street, on the other side of the Boul Victor Hugo than the main attractions. Once you cross Boul Victor Hugo, you seem to enter a pretty shady part of the city.

Actually a great little place. Not much from the outside and a bit concerning walking to hotel but once you were there it was great. In hindsight I think it just looks a bit dodgy walking up but always felt very safe
Actually a great little place. Not much from the outside and a bit concerning walking to hotel but once you were there it was great. In hindsight I think it just looks a bit dodgy walking up but always felt very safe

Staycity Aparthotel is conveniently situated for the old town so everywhere walkable. The rooms are clean and quiet and the courtyard garden we overlooked lovely. Staff pleasant and helpful and always available. Cafes and restaurants near the tower of St.Michel and of course in the old town itself. Transport is nearby. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast plentiful. We all agreed an excellent place to stay.

Arrived around midnight and had already checked in online but staff there to explain everything. Very clean room and bed was so comfortable and so were pillows. Facilities in room v good. Didn't take breakfast. Good location as near town centre but felt slightly ofput as lots of graffiti in Bordeaux and nearby main road had some undesirables.

J'ai adoré loger au StayCity ! Le personnel est ultra sympathique, serviable et poli. Ils se sont assuré que ma chambre soit prête dès mon arrivée. La communication avant mon arrivée était rapide et courtoise. Les chambres sont grandes, propres et parfaitement équipées. J'ai eu la chance d'avoir une chambre niveau rez-de-chaussée, avec accès à une terrasse aménagée, vue sur la cour arrière. Je recommande sans hésitation ! Seul bémol: le quartier de soir est à éviter, surtout pour une femme seule. Vaut mieux se déplacer en taxi/uber qu'à pieds. Il y a beaucoup de petits groupes d'hommes sur la rue Victor Hugo, près du pont. On ne se sent las en sécurité, et même les locaux nous informent d'éviter ce quartier le soir. Mais le jour, aucun souci :)

We had a split level suite, with a ver comfortable king bed upstairs and two half sofa beds available downstairs. No window upstairs and the one downstairs had no view. Pas de problem. Parking was very easy. The onsite guest laundry was also simple to use and washed/dried in one cycle per machine for 5e total. Nice! WiFi excellent. The TV would not work with a laptop over HDMI, but did permit local media playback from a FAT32 USB stick. Breakfasts were of a good standard, though without the usual eggs bacon sausage. Very quiet in the room, and great staff in the lobby. Would choose this property again.

The property was extremely clean. The only thing I would say it could have had a little more character in the inside in keeping with the architecture and history of the beautiful city. The rooms were a little minimum and lacked any ambience. The staff were however extremely helpful, engaging and friendly. The entrance of the hotel had a ‘Cafe like style’ entrance with large open windows which was lovely. I sat there a few times and had a tea as well as meal on my first night.

The room was comfortable enough for a short stay although the bed was squashed into a small space and was difficult to get into and out of! . Unfortunately there weren't enough towels in the bathroom and only one tea bag and only enough coffee for 1 day. We requested another hand towel, more tea bags and coffee and more milk, but only the coffee arrived. Breakfast was however good value and the café au lait was lovely. Staff were always helpful and friendly.

JoAnn and Simon were impressively helpful, JoAnn at check-in and Simon finding directions to the Citadel de Blaye. He showed us goggle images of the the bus transfer point. Excursion was simple thanks to him. The hotel breakfast is very good. The only slight drawback was not being aware of room size. We should have chosen a larger one. But the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. It’s a very pleasant, clean, well-run and staffed hotel.

I would recommend getting a ground floor or accessible room as these have some outdoor space where you have your own table and chairs. We only had breakfast on one occasion but it was good value
