Geneva National Resort & Club

Parking is a pain and finding room was difficult. Needs better signs to find room.

The staff was very helpful and informative. Really enjoyed the golf courses. Would recommend staying at this resort.

I might have missed these details when booking but - the hotel has a sister property 2 miles down the road and most of the amenities are there (pool, lobby, multiple restaurants). We didn’t end up using these since we thought they were onsite.

The room itself was very nice and clean. The location/hotel is a golfing destination so unless you golf there is nothing else really to do on the property. Restaurants, pool or hot tub are not close. The Lodge where most of what they advertise is a whole different hotel that is not on the same property. The place is divided into two different properties. So even thou there is a shuttle it is not something you want to take to go to the hot tub. If you do not mind driving during your stay, then I would recommend but if you want to have everything close and within walking distance then it won't be for you.

Beautiful room overlooking the golf course. Loved the walking proximity to a restaurant. It would be wonderful if the property had their own indoor pool.

Was looking forward to drinking wine and hanging out by the fire pit at night was sorry to see it was closed wishing it would of still of been on otherwise it was a great three days! Sawyer was awesome!!

Property was beautifully kept and its amenities were very nice. Hotel offers a beautiful view to Lake Cómo. Our room was very basic even though we “upgraded” to a “better” room. The room amenities are also extremely basic. If you want service for your room, you have to request it. The pool is not accessible if you require a ramp or cannot ascend/descend stairs which was an issue for us.

First time staying here and we will be back! The shuttle took us to The Rigde where we were able to use the indoor and outdoor pools. Ate at the outdoor cafe and it was delish. The views of the golf course at Geneva National Resort were amazing, especially at the restaurant at the Golf Lodge. We stayed at one of the cottages and it was spacious and clean. Pleasantly surprised!

Sleeping rooms spread around the property. Not for the disabled. Hilly. Be prepared to walk up and down hills. No grab bars in the bathrooms. Floors slippery when wet. Rooms beautifully appointed. Great TVS. Beds comfortable. Staff accommodating. Servi Bar filled with quality treats and alcohol.products. Bedroom living room and Bathrooms large and comfortable.

Annoyed by the fact that there’s no pool or hot tub on site, you have to drive to the hotel over which is 1.5 or 2 miles over. It’s not even on the golf resort and you can’t honestly walk there because of highway 50. Everything else was nice.

The only negative with the room is that there were multiple dead bugs on the ground which was a bit off putting. Overall we would return.

The room advertised was NOT the room we received. The room had mold in shower. The sink was clogged. The shower was broken and could not be used properly

Absolutely beautiful place. Our hotel room was on the second floor of a stand alone condo. Great view. Great clean grounds. Room squeaky clean. Bathroom nice. Only suggestion is two more comfortable chairs for room instead of a love seat. We’ll be back!

Check in was very pleasant. Finding the room was little difficult for a first time guest. Parking was challenging being at the end of a parking lot and a huge dumpster in the way. When first entering the room it was clean and presentable. Under closure inspection, there was evidence left behind of previous occupants. I found a few items and a really Nasty washcloth in one of the drawers by the bathroom, key cards. When presenting these items to the check-in office, I did not even get an apology, nor did it seem like they cared, which was a little insulting to be honest. We decided to dine at Turf the tap and cantina. I’d say the overall experience was great service was 9/10 appetizer was the cheese curds some of the best I’ve ever had. The chipotle chicken sandwich is what my fiancé had and it was not chipotle. It was basically just straight buffalo sauce so that was disappointing. I got the New York strip steak at $46 find you I think $46 is fair for a good steak but for this steak I feel like $25 would’ve been more for the quality the steak I would rate 5/10 the chimichurri sauce is what saved it the crunchy stuff that they put on top was basically an edible and they pre-cut your steak for you which made the steak more dry when eating it. I wouldn’t recommend the steak tacos and the sandwiches that they serve more appetizing so if you’re going there, I would recommend those. Enclosure overall rating for this hotel I would rate them 8.5/10.I would stay at this property again

The service was absolutely fantastic from everyone at the club house. The only two small things were that we could hear everything going on in the unit above us and noticed mold growing on the ceiling in the shower. Everything else was great though.

The property was beautiful and very clean and quiet. Will come back.

When we turned on the heat in our room it filled the room with smoke. We had to turn off the heat and open the windows on a cold morning.

Super relaxing atmosphere. Great room. Everything in the space is well thought out. Loads of great touches, comfy bed, huge bathroom, gas fireplace. Everything was fantastic.

I loved the place but the rooms need a microwave, ice, and drawers to put clothes in. Location & room were beautiful. Service was great!

The resort was nice, relaxing and adult vibe. Not too busy. I stayed in the Treetop suites and I absolutely loved my room. The bed was so comfortable. The modern decor & furniture were perfectly done. 10/10

The property encompassed everything we hoped for and more; we were only able to stay for two days, and next time we will be back for longer. We stayed in the suites on the golf course, and the rooms were incredible. We played the Player course, and the greens were so well-kept! All of the food that we had on-site was incredible, specifically the Hunt Steakhouse! We will be back!

Our ground level room afforded a lovely view of trees just beyond the thoroughfare for housekeeping and maintenance carts. The grand picture window gave them a clear view of our bed when the curtain was drawn (the only source of natural light into the room.) I felt like we were in a fish bowl. Not at all romantic! There were signs of hasty construction: the toilet rocked back and forth and the ceiling drywall was poorly finished--a large seam had begun to bubble. The bath linens weren't plush, rather scratchy to the touch. The sliding screen door was very hard to open...rust? The heating unit was disruptive, too noisy. So were the footsteps of the couple above us. We had to call the desk to get the check out time, and when we dropped off the card keys, no thanks or questions about our stay were offered. Maybe golfers don't care about all this, but we did. Will look elsewhere on our next visit to the area.

The Geneva National was a lovely experience. Everyone was helpful, professional and made you feel at home. The resort itself is beautiful. Park like, beautiful landscaping, Privacy, trees, views of Lake Como. We hope to return soon!

Took forever for someone to get to the front desk. Modern design in the entry but closer up to chairs and walls there’s quite a few stains and markings.

All staff on the property are extremely helpful and really want you to have pleasant experience. Appreciate all the great communication as well.

My sister and I recently stayed at Geneva National for a mom's getaway weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. The property was quiet, clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While it is a bit of a drive to downtown Lake Geneva, that was actually a plus for us—we were looking to relax and recharge, and Geneva National delivered just that. If you’re looking for something within walking distance to shops and restaurants, this might not be the best fit. But if you're after peace, quiet, and a beautiful setting with amazing service, I’d highly recommend it. We’re already talking about coming back!

Amazing golf resort! Beautiful rooms. Dining at Turf was spectacular..food and service were excellent. Minus the very rude older gentleman in the pro shop, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be back!

This is the second time we stayed at this resort. Excellent service. The room was ready at 12:30 pm and let us to check-in. (Not like other hotels as GENEVA INN you have yo wait till check in time 3pm to go to the room even the room was ready) Easy checkout by text . We will stay again.

Needed to get away from the city for a few day and came here. Found the location to be clean and the peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for

This place is top quality. My only concern was that i was expecting a room in the lodge with dining facilities in/near the building. However, my room was in a cottage and needed to drive for dinner.

Natural and quiet

So many great restaurants within a 10 mile radius.

The room was excellent but difficult to find. The description makes it seem like ever Is in 1 location but it is not. You would have to have a car to travel to the spa and pool area which is located in another hotel about 5 minutes away. That is also where the restaurant and bars are located as well. Very disappointed that the description does not make this clear as it was a huge inconvenience.

Outstanding location and stay!

The property is very secluded and picturesque. There is only one restaurant on the property but it's decent. Parking is a little weird as we had to park approx. 50 yards from our room and carry our luggage all the way. We were dissapointed that we were not able to check in till after 4:00. The room was very nice but we were given an upgrade, so don't know what regular rooms look like. For the price, for the area, this is a good deal.

Geneva National was beautiful and quiet. Our “room” which was more like a condo was beautiful. It was new, clean, nice patio and gorgeous bathroom for a super affordable price. It overlooked the golf course and ponds in the distance. And about 30 deer eating in the wooded area. Shuttle service was convenient and their Hunt Club restaurant is a MUST! Amazing food and on site. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure!!

The staff was very good. The unit in which we stayed was also 4 stars. Steaks were well prepared but not generous and vegetables should have been included for the menu to be complete. Service was excellent throughout our stay.
