The hotel itself, pretty clean and pretty safe. They have tight security. You need a key card to get into the lobby. Also, actually pretty quiet And the bed didn't look comfortable, but it actually was.

Pros:Convenient Place, Full size Kitchen, if you download the app to wash clothes it gives you $5 free. Con: It states weekly cleaning, but they do not. Cleaning only are every two weeks so the whole time I had a dirty room because I stayed 10 days not 14. They charge $3.50 for lining services not stated when reserved. Wifi was not the best if you plan to do work from the hotel. The TV would constantly lose signal.

the build doors woundlt work , toilet got clogged and was told to call back later .. if u need front desk hwlp u need to all the way down stairs .. the wlevator does t work properly .. the list can go on

I liked the cooktop and kitchen area. A few more amenities like a hair dryer, coffee, a few more dishes and more shampoo/dishwasher soap etc would have made this stay much better. The lobby coffee was never made for unknown reasons.

This is strictly a long term facility and not a good facility for the traveler. The room odor was bad and smelled like someone had cooked fish prior. Limited ventilation to get rid of such odors. Coffee was available but only from 6-9 a.m. One supplemental restroom but it was locked. Residents hangout near the front door to smoke pretty much most of the evening. Other than odor, facility was decently cleaned. ADA access is not the best. Poor value in my opinion for the traveler but fine if you're staying long-term.

This hotel is a perfectly safe and respectable hotel near I-5 in Lakewood. This area is safer than the area further north on this street and this hotel is perfectly situated to head west toward Lakewood and University Place, north to Tacoma, and south to Olympia—all are about 15 minutes away. The room is clean, albeit a bit small. We had a queen suite for two people. Everything worked properly, and we appreciated the full-sized fridge, microwave, and two-burner stove top. It has the bare minimum in terms of kitchen supplies, so our game plan for our next visit is as follows: Bring paper plates, plastic cutlery, and napkins with us. The kitchen is kitted out with only one of everything per person. Bring a small bottle of dishwashing liquid or be prepared to run the dishwasher with only 3-4 items in it each day. Bring our own frying pan and spatula if we plan to cook breakfast on the stovetop. Don’t forget cooking spray or butter. Bring salt and pepper. Bring a box of facial tissues and perhaps a hand towel for the bathroom. They provided bath towels and washcloths, but no hand towels. Overall, we were pleased, and since we have a lot of camping gear, we will come again and bring some of it along. We will return.

This is a very sketchy place. Hotels.com should really let people know that this is an extended stay type of place. No one is at the front desk if you have to check in past 9PM. Rooms were dirty. Do not be fooled by the nice pictures. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 for a reputable room.

The property suffers from obsolescence.

The internet does not work at all tried to even pay for it. Nothing tried to get ahold of staff nothing.

1) I know dogs are allowed BUT; I stepped off the elevator into a puddle of dog urine. Front desk should tell occupants to alert them of any dog urine accidents in order to have maintenance or themselves clean up the urine. 2) The room was not clean. There were uncleaned sticky surfaces throughout the room. I would NOT recommend staying at the property. Nor would I ever stay there again.

Room was dirty. For example; hairs in bed, no pillow cases on a couple pillows, no towels in room, dirty refrigerator and freezer had huge red spill in it. The smell of the room had a food odor and hallways smelt of cigarette smoke. I checked in late and the staff member was clearly sleeping and was irritated that I was there. Not worth the money spent.

Im on the fence about this place.. the staff were mostly nice and the sense of community was strong. But I the cleaning of my room was horrible. The first day I could tell the floors were not swept or mopped. Had a greasy feel to it as if there was animal urine from the people before me. There was hair and crumbs all over the floor. I had to request someone to re clean the floor. Even after they did it was still poorly swept and mopped. I witnessed no water being using to mop. Just a spray bottle with a purple substance in it. I had to clean the floor myself to feel satisfied. The bed surprisingly had no hair.. under the kitchen sink were multiple beer cans. some spilt. I didnt bother calling the front desk because their line kept sending me to voice mail. I stayed here for 13 days, and each call i mare during that time was sent to voice mail. The smell.. my room smelled really bad upon entering each time.. mold maybe? It was embarrassing having guests come by. Each time I entered I had to warn them about the weird smell. Lastly, pests. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I’m finishing up my business and all of a sudden, a roach scurries across the floor into the door frame. All in all the cleanliness was absolute trash, Nasty, repulsive but the neighbors were really nice and helpful. Always held the door open for me and my four children. P.s. they need better cleaning supplies. The broom I borrowed snapped after 1 minute of use. the mop is a rag.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. The room was far from clean — there were stains and marks on the walls, and the furniture was damaged and in poor condition. It felt like no one had done a proper cleaning or maintenance check in a long time. Outside the hotel, the environment didn’t feel safe. There were numerous bystanders and what appeared to be homeless individuals lingering around the property at all hours, which made the area feel very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, or relaxing place to stay. Definitely not worth the money.

The people were nice as was were the public areas. The floors in our room, however, were caked in food and mud. Also, the room wasn’t fully set up. If you go, bring dishwasher detergent and some of your own cleaning supplies so that you don’t have to pay extra.

1. Upon arrival day, I had reserved 2 rooms. One for myself and my husband and one for our friend. I tried to call 10 times to let staff know. My friend arrived and was unable to check jn until we arrived an hour later 2. Ketchup drops on floor by trash can - gross, what else is dirty? 3. Creepy individuals hanging at front entrance 4. Road noise all night long 5. Staff in first floor hallway laughing and carrying on, rather than the desk or answering phone. Now I know what they were doing when I was trying to call

The bed was one of the more comfortable motel beds I’ve ever slept on.

clean safe place, bed wasn't so comfortable nor the thin sheets. but it was quiet and safe. room keys didn't work for almost a week, but staff let us intoo room. i wanted to change hotels but since i booked thru hotels.com the hotel wouldn't let me out of the contract so that i could be closer to my work venue. but staff was friendly. fridge micro and cost made it worth it

There were the basic necessities - two towels, two facecloths, two pillows - less than what I've experienced at other hotels but worked fine. The front desk staff was friendly when we checked in; however, there was no staff available in the morning when checking out (the front desk was rollered shut). For the price, it was ok and sufficed for our one-night stay.

Too many people smoking marijuana and too many pets keepign me awake. Also, the floor above me broadcasted a lot of noise at all hours.

This was my first stay. Check-In was seamless. Theresa was very helpful and has a great sense of humor. This is an "extended stay" hotel and there were many cars in the parking lot but there is ample parking. I was surprised to see a full-sized refrigerator in my room and a large microwave oven. The kitchenette also had plates, glasses, flatware, and a couple of pots and pans. Ideal for someone staying there for awhile. The WiFi connection was excellent as was the programming available on the TV. The bed was wonderful. Pets are allowed and there was a little bit of barking going on in the hallway but not for long. Al-in-all an enjoyable stay and I'll book again the next time I have to go to McChord Field.

Mean staff. Locked out of my room check out morning. Office doesn’t open till 9AM!! Wow. Lady through a fit because she had let me back into room to grab my bag and phone so I could leave the property.

The room was not cleaned before, the refrigerator was full of food scraps, the floor in the room was full of food scraps and dirt. The bathroom was very dirty, no hygiene at all!

I never review hotels or anything for that matter. When we arrived nobody was at the front desk, which we didn’t mind because it was 11:20pm. They have a lobby phone for this purpose, asked to call ‘500’ to check in. We did, multiple times it always rang busy there was no other way to get a hold of anyone. This was very inconvenient and the front desk clerk didn’t even acknowledge the distress nor did she apologize for not answering the phone and being late by 20-30 minutes.

The staff was rude they were not very professional the room was dirty especially the floor i went downstairs to report and gave me attitude they said they would do something about it but didn't offer another room. My key card didn't work had to go downstairs twice to get it fixed one of the ladies rolled her eyes like i bothering her never again i will stay there and pay attention when I pick a hotel with ther thousand of excuses and didn't try to anything about the dirty floor 😡

The front desk staff speaks to customers very disrespectfully and is extremely dismissive. Will not be returning

We got here twenty minutes after midnight. We called the number and Shanay came right away and got us checked in. Being so tired, I dropped or accidentally left my credit card. Shanay found it and brought it out to us out in the parking lot to give it back to me! (And we were clear out in the back!) That was very honest and kind of her! The room had a weird smell to it when we first walked in, but now I don't smell it. The shower was good.

The front desk young gal was great when I got in the first night but the second night the lady was very rude!

Was a lot going on at the property cops ambulance and people just hanging around in the parking lot

Bathroom constantly smelled of cigarette smoke. Nothing was ever done about it. Staff tried cleaning out my room a whole day before I was scheduled to leave. Was forced to pay for the last day I had already paid for in my reservation. Key card kept malfunctioning. Area around was not the safest. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

The inside of the room was ok I guess, the whole hotel smelled like urine and cigarette smoke, not to mention the room had been doused in bleach to cover up the smell……waited like 8 minutes to even find someone to check me in, rang the bell and no response….. but to make things worse, outside, there was a shooting in the parking lot and we ended up actually going to another hotel because it was so unsafe. There was police on the premises 2different times in just a few hours for 2 different incidents.

accommodating staff, clean room, great price. the only problem is that if you're not driving, public transportation is limited. there's a bus station across the street, but the buses don't all go into town. if you walk, be careful of the large area nearby that is filled with trash and the likely domain of homeless. otherwise, the main street is highly walkable as it has great sidewalks and walk signs.

Close to Fort Lewis and Madigan. Food left in microwave. No kleenex. Pets on property. Otherwise well suited my needs.

Not a bad location other than not the greatest part of the neighborhood, but the Hotel steps in cleanliness in the bed is pretty comfortable makes up for everything so yes, I would actually say 4 1/2 star Very secure inside

This place is so noisy because of the near the I-5.

Sketchy neighborhood but once you're inside, seems safe Staff was great and nice and friendly

My family and moved from Alaska and the stay here was great we had no trouble whatsoever. Be prewarned no pots or pans for cooking but awesome otherwise!!

I thought it was odd that the front desk person asked for everyone's state issued ID's and made a copy of them. She wouldn't accept my sons military ID. When I made a comment she didn't explain why. She wasn't very personable. The hallway carpet was dirty. When we checked out at 8:00am there was no breakfast out and no one was at the front desk. It was odd that there was a kitchenette but no coffee maker in the room. Beds were comfy.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of nights, WoodSpring Suites Tacoma - Lakewood offers decent value. There was a prior guests sock in the drawer. No soap, shampoo or conditioner. All utensils were finally located in the dishwasher. There was no dishwasher soap, so I just left them there. Glad I didn’t need them. This place is an extended stay and there are a lot of full time residence people.
