Everything thing was nice room was very comfortable but need microwave n coffee machine in rooms

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Plenty of parking. We were on motorcycles and the lady at the desk told us we could park next to the front entrance under the overhang. Several seats in the lobby area for a group to gather and relax. Hotel is just off the interstate but not close enough to have noise from traffic. Several gas stations and a few restaurants nearby.

I like the location and I like the hotel. I’m not sure how large it is, but it only had three carts to move belongings in and out. So in the morning, I had to wait till one was free. Wasn’t thrilled about the breakfast sandwich. It seemed dried out, but everything else looked great. The room is clean. The halls and carpet were clean. I did find the windows looked like they had some work done on them, which made it suddenly feel older than it was. No coffee in the room, which is OK as I don’tmind going down to get it. I was very happy with it.

Rooms are clean and hotels is over all clean, new and in a good area and stuffs are friendly. Rooms are very small, not for family with child, no microwave in the room, not even a couch to rest. Mattresses could be firmer. Careful while driving up the ramp to get to the parking, the slope is too stiff, my van's bottom was getting every time.

The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & comfortable. It was quiet so we could sleep. The breakfast was ok. Not like most hotels with waffles and stuff. It had breakfast sandwiches, premade omelets, fruit, package oatmeal etc. the coffee, hot chocolate & tea are always available 24/7. The workout room was a good size with sufficient equipment l, it even has a scale & foam rollers! We would stay here again.

Was very nice! very nice staff but the beds are not tall man friendly if you’re over 6’0 it’ll be a little uncomfy my boyfriend was struggling lol also no room microwaves :( but very nice and would stay again!

Not clean, moldy food in fridge, and had to change room three times due to cleanliness.. wore shoes anytime I stepped on the floor due to the floor being so filthy.

First room we were given had not been made up at all. Next room was made up but not cleaned very well for example, the shower door has soap film.Also towels were scratchy.Common areas could have been better maintained.

Shower was not cleaned, had wet towels and hair in it when we arrived.

The hotel is nice. It is fairly new and modern. No carpet with tile floors. So..if tile is there why is it not being cleaned. There were spots on the floor. Shower was not cleaned thoroughly. Trash, dirty sheets and cleaning supplies left in the hall and elevator at 6pm.

The room was clean and looked brand new. The staff was amazing, as well as the breakfast. Overall great place to stay.

Clean and comfortable hotel, located just of the I95. The staff was super nice and friendly.

This would be fine if I was traveling with my dogs but this was 100% not what the pictures showed. We had to change rooms because there were hairs in the bed sheets with stains and floors were dirty. I would never go back to this property.

Hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful. The guys at the front desk were helpful and friendly. They remembered us at check out and it was nice that they took time to acknowledge my daughter and talk to her as well. People sometimes forget that kids are guests too. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Free breakfast and coffee bar was better than expected. The only complaint I have would be the bathroom. There were caulking issues and looks like some mold in the corners, not a lot but enough that I noticed. The water temp and pressure were great though. Would stay again.

Terrible, hair was in the shower, cup/drinks stains on the night stand, stains on the comforter set, dirty and dusty behind the bed and dust all over the phone.. the hallway had a stinch smell throughout and scratch up walls in the room. This is the 2nd time we’ve experience this.. will not be back and do not recommend

The hotel was new and everything was nice and clean We got a good night sleep on the very comfortable beds No rugs in the room are always are our favorite

No hot water this morning and the shower door was installed wrong. So when you cut the water on to try and get it warm, the water hits the door and splashes on the floor outside the shower

I didn't like that there were not any closets. The suitcase stands were not big enough for the suitcases. AC needed to be fixed, wasn't working when we opened room. Curbing outside entry door needs painted as my wife slipped off edge of curb.

Relatively new hotel under IHG control. Modest breakfast, coffee available all day and it could be tastier. Rooms do not have curtains, rather a privacy window net, we had a light pole right outside which was capable to provide a lot of light…who cared we wanted to sleep!!! Poor air circulation on corridors, dehumidifiers could be seen on each floor. It’s good enough for one night stay. It is situated at 20 minutes away traveling time on highways from Savannah.

Hotel check-in was fast. Staff friendly. Romm was small, and bathroom could be cleaner.

Not a bad experience, but walls are paper thin. Cleanliness was fine. Breakfast was so/so, not a lot of choices. Hot water for oatmeal eats through the paper bowls.

Breakfast options were alright. Rooms were very loud. Could hear talking and it sounded like Bigfoot was above us

I found the room underwhelming, no coffeemaker, shower just ok, no second chair the room is for two people. Although modern looking to me it was the equivalent of a Motel 6. We will not be staying at a Avid hotel again

Stay was ok for one night only since the rooms are tiny, yet very clean. TVs are not smart therefore no streaming available. A+ shower pressure.

The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner works well. I like the bath and body care products they offer. The staff is friendly, and I was able to check-in about an hour and a half early. On the flip side, the comforter and towels are stained which makes me wonder how clean they are. The stains are obvious, so maybe they should not have been used. The TV has limited channels, none of the good ones, and the screen and audio keep glitching.

When we got in after a long drive, they gave us keys to a room that was already occupied. When we went back to the front desk, the staff gave us keys to another room that was also occupied. Then we had to wait for the front desk staff to call and figure out which rooms were occupied because they were sold out. We finally got a room but it is a basic function of the hotel to track occupancy! We made sure to bolt our door since we were told we were being given someone else's toom! The hotel is new and clean and the breakfast was fine, but the level of service and confusion was unacceptable.

The property looks new, rooms are clean, plenty of parking (free), staff is courteous and accomodating. Easy in/out access through I-95 but about 20 minutes from the riverfront/downtown/fun area.

Service is very poor. Check-in took too long. There was a couple checking in before us who were having issues with their room. We had to wait 40 minutes because there was only one person at the front desk. When it was finally our time, it took us another 30 minutes -- the front-desk staff stepped away, not sure doing what. When we finally got to the room, the bed sheets and towels were stained; the shower floor was dirty. When checking out, we asked for the manager and were told they were not available at that time (around 8AM). The front-desk is supposed to greet customers and this one did not. I don't recommend this place. They charge over $100 for one night and the service is poor. Not worth!

Booked a hotel stay for my parents. Asked to have my card charged when they arrived at check in as this was a gift for them. Did payment authorization form & confirmed receipt of form with the hotel staff a few days prior. When my parents arrived at the hotel & explained that their daughter had already setup payment they were told this could not be done & that they needed to pay. My parents ended up being charged for the hotel stay. The staff then said it was a mistake & my parents would be refunded the charge. They charged my card the entire amount of $271.84 plus an additional $140. When I called to inquire about the additional $140 charge I was on hold 30 min straight, no check in no nothing. I ended up hanging up and calling back & asked the staff why would you leave someone on hold that long. Her response was she had to attend to customers in front of her. I told her I'm a paying customer too. I asked her what the additional charge was for and she said she did not know and to call back the next day. Called the next day & was told the $140 was an automatic charge for pre registration?? I asked several times why would there be an automatic charge for this as it does not make sense. The manager said it was automatically charged because the card was on file and never gave me more information into why the charge occurred. He said i would be refunded within 3-5 business days. Worst customer service EVER. No communication between shifts or staff.

When we arrived no one was manning the front desk. We and two other groups were waiting ~10 minutes calling customer service until someone showed up and apparently they were the only person watching the entire hotel. Not the best experience when you arrive 9:30ish in the evening with tired kids from a long day not knowing how long until you can get to your room.

Staff was terrible

This hotel we’ve stayed at on many occasions and we have NEVER been disappointed. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Property is always well kepted in all areas. There rooms are always clean and up to par. I hope they continue to operate this way in years to come.

The Avid Hotel was great, service was exceptional!

I would not recommend this hotel. We had a 3 day stay, checked in on a Friday night (memorial weekend) & there was only 1 staff. The first room we were assigned was already occupied, the second room we were assigned was 1 king bed when we needed 2 queens, and finally the third room was right but there was blood droppings on the floor & hair in the first 2 towels I opened up. We have 2 young kids and going up and down multiple times to get the correct room, we we’re exhausted and decided to look past those issues - it took us an hour & half to get our room. At 12:30 that night, 4 men walked in on us while we were sleeping because they were assigned our room - noted, always keep the bolt lock, locked!! We complained the next morning with no sympathy reply “sorry about that”. We went on our day and the next night, again around 12:30-1:00, I get a call on my cell phone from the front desk asking if we are still checked into the hotel or if we had left, then asking what room number we are in. I advised and after that I was over the whole place so the next morning I requested a refund for our 3rd night as we were going to find somewhere else to stay. Luckily they were quick to give that, but they had refunded the wrong room because they thought we were in one of the 3 rooms we were given the first night - even after talking to me the prior night!! I think this is a quick one night stay hotel, as you even have to request someone to clean your room if wanted.

Was unable to check due to Avids computer system being down. Was told to wait a couple hours, not sure when it would be back up. This was at 4pm, told them this was unacceptable and I would find another room. Told them I found another room. Later found out they charged me for the room. Now that is some poor customer service, whose fault was it? Not mine!!!

The area was beautiful, quiet away from traffic.

Pros: Overall the hotel was good value, good property, good staff. Cons: The hotel sits very close to a large garbage dump and the smell was very strong. However the inside of the hotel did not smell badly at all. The bed was old and tired, both my wife and I had a difficult time sleeping on it and it was uncomfortable.

Homeless camp behind the building. Garbage everywhere around the perimeter. Homeless walking through the parking lot all day & night.

Convenient, right off interstate. Perfect for one night stay.

Excellent location. Restaurant in walking distance. Very clean property.

Nice & quiet hotel about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah. Complimentary breakfast was nice.

Check-in was smooth and easy, rooms were very clean, and the location is great for those who would rather not be in the historic district but very close. I will be back!

A newer hotel so everything is in working order. AC nice and cool in the room which helped sleeping better. Bed was comfortable. It’s a 15 minute drive from Savannah so reasonably close.

Good: it’s a newer building, the rooms are nice, the TV is big, the bed was cozy, the pillows especially were great and the AC was ice cold. Staff was attentive to any request I had. Less Good: The good: Nice, newer hotel. Bed is comfortable and pillows are comfortable. TV is big and the AC is ice cold. Less Good: there was an inordinate amount of transient activity/non guests walking through the hotel parking lot and going into the woods behind hotel. Like a lot. The area is obviously transitioning so there are some sketchy buildings mixed in with newer. The shower glass was super cloudy from hard water stains that aren’t being washed off.

Overall a good experience but the breakfast was disappointing. The sandwiches were not properly made, cold inside. I stayed for 2 days and the same thing happened. Rooms are clean, easy parking and the location has easy access to I-16.

Stay was okay. I expected small rooms which they were. The tiny breakfast included eggs and potatoes daily which both were cold and not warm. They food at the little store you can buy is way up charged but be sure to check the dates. Many items were expired and were still there three days later when we left.

Before I got there I noticed a charge on my bank account I wasn't aware would be charged. So my stay actually was $31 more than what was shown upon booking. The breakfast options are awful. The quality was awful. I got a bagel that was so hard it could have busted a windshield. They have a fancy coffee maker though that takes forever to brew. Maybe opt for a waffle maker instead of that coffee msker? Room was smaller than it looks in pictures but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wouldn't stay again personally, but for cleanliness alone if you're just looking for a place to sleep one nights, you'll be good.

Very nice, updated room with huge TV and Avery comfortable king bed. Room had a refrigerator. One of the best breakfasts buffets I have seen, with lots of choices and extras ( like dried cranberries, walnut halves and raisins for my cereal or oatmeal).

Stayed 2 nights for concerts in Savannah. Hotel was clean, check in was good and every time I went through the lobby was kind and helpful. Breakfast was minimal, but we don’t care about that. Coffee was great and available 24/7

The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is the breakfast offered, you have nice king size bed, nice bathroom with dove products for soap lotion, shampoo etc...and a 55 inch TV and the breakfast was just ok, everything else about the hotel was great except that.
