Grand Hyatt Jeju

The Grand Hyatt in Jeju is a landmark and it's easy to see why with the massive Dream Tower dwarfing all other buildings in the vicinity. We were graciously offered a free monitor upgrade due to staying multiple nights. There were numerous restaurants in the hotel but we didn't try any, since there were countless options in the surrounding blocks. Again there is a lot of shopping, which we did not take part in, but it was interesting to walk around. The outdoor pool was great and the kids absolutely loved it. The only downside is that both the indoor and outdoor pools get VERY busy as this is a very popular hotel, so we found the sweet spot with going around dinner time while other people are eating. Bonus points that we found out about a free shuttle back to the airport even though the Hyatt website says that you should take a taxi or the bus.

This is a 5 star hotel with lot of good facilities and a great view of Jeju City. Unfortunately, the hotel has a bunch of weird rules, including some fairly hostile pool rules that prevent “children” under 150 cm from swimming in the rather shallow pools. They can only enter if they wear a bizarre and, frankly, borderline humiliating equipment that includes a full body life vest, and some additional flotation equipment that prevent any swimming. Breakfast is very expensive but is also probably one of the best buffets that I have seen. The hotel auto-mailed a welcome email but did not respond to messages. All in all, this was not a 5 star experience but the hotel also placed itself at a price point far below usual 5 star levels.

Really professional staff with swift check in/-out. Aldo very helpful with car rental booking and tips to see. We were upgraded which was a bonus. Fantastic and spacious romms. Nice skybar. We did not have breakfest as we had early start of the mornings. The hotel includes shopping, various restaurangs etc. Magnificent outdoor pool area with a view towards the sea. Free garage for cars

My partner and I loved our stay here. Staff are kind and helpful. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the heated outdoor pool was very nice. Our room was very spacious, clean, and had a beautiful city view. Parking is also ample and spacious, and I also saw that they have an airport shuttle which is another added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff polite and friendly; particularly exceptional service from a concierge staff (English name Peter) who helped contact our car rental service to fix a tyre puncture even quite late af night. Delicious food at the Pocha - great views from the restaurant and rooms. Great restaurants around the area. Shops are convenient especially the 7-Eleven. Parking is free and spacious. The Jjimjil spa was wonderful - especially. For sore muscles from a post-Hallasan hike.

The facilities are superb. There are an outdoor pool and another indoor pool (heated) which are loved by families, and the indoor pool opens till midnight which is great. The gym is very nice as well with many different equipments (though it would be better if the equipments had been placed further away from each other...). The room is quite big - great for families with kids, and the mattress is very comfy. They provide bath robes and slippers for kids as well. The welcome chocolate and sweets are tasty. The basin in the bathroom drains a bit slowly though. The toothbrush sets are chargeable. Breakfast is not included by default, like many other hotels in Korea. From our experience, the breakfast's food variety is great, and food is well prepared, tasty, and fresh. But ppl may have different opinion on if it worths the $$ cost. We tried the hotel's Korean BBQ restaurant as well. The pork and beef were fresh and tender, quite juicy, on par with the price.. The parking lot has quite a few charging stations for EVs. The front desk staff are able to speak English and there are also Chinese-speaking staff. But we did encounter some communication issues when we called the guest service hotline from the room. The lady who picked up our call was trying hard to understand our inquiry but still could not really get it. At the end she had to say that later she would ask her colleague who could understand English better to call back. It ended up we just called the front desk.

This property is essentially a Las Vegas hotel in the middle of Jeju City. Basically everything you need is there. A buffet, bar, karaoke, clothes shopping mall, casino, japanese restaurant (rather pricey tbh) and I kid you not, a FULL SIZE 7-Eleven store INSIDE. The pools were a little smaller than I thought they'd be and the inside pool is slightly unimpressive. The spas looked great but I didn't have time to try them. Keep in mind, getting around Jeju Island is a bit of a hassle unless you take taxis and with those everything is about 15 minutes apart instead of 45 as buses take forever. There is a McD in front for a taste of home and a black pork restaurant behind for a Jeju delicacy. Need groceries or souvenirs? There's a Lotte Mart about a 10 minute walk south. The room was gigantic, floor to ceiling windows for a gorgeous view of the city or mountains. I was only irritated with the clientele from time to time, but for the price I feel like it can't be beat. For comparison, my hotel in Seoul was only $20 cheaper than this but wayyy less nice.

Fantastic hotel! Great dining options. Courteous, professional and competent staff. Fabulous spa and great location. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have gorgeous views. Fitness center and pools are exceptional and the spa sauna houses are reason alone to stay here. I will stay here again.

Pretty much faultless; spectacular view from the outdoor pool, my hotel room & the sky lounge (38F). Only constructive criticism I have is about the slow sink drainage.

房間很大，但是清潔非常不確實，第一天進房就發現椅子很髒有很多碎屑、甚至有乾掉的隱形眼鏡，特別有跟送行李的服務人員反應，但是沒有處理到，之後的四天每天的房務清潔也都沒有清理那張很髒的椅子⋯乾掉的隱形眼鏡陪伴了我整個濟州島旅程。

클럽룸에 묵었는데 욕실 물이 안빠지고 큰 수건은 건조가 덜되어있어 냄새가 났어요 음식은 너무 별로이구요 룸서비스로 전복삼계탕을 시켰는데 닭이 레토르트 닭보다 더 뻣뻣한 식감으로 돈이 아까웠어요 하얏트 호텔이 서울도,제주도 점점 안좋은족으로 가는것 같아요 애정호텔중 하나였는데 아쉽습니다

When we checked in, we noticed that the tables, the walls in the bathrooms weren’t clean.

It is way better in person! Staff are friendly and professional. Location is great, with many dining options nearby. Shuttle buses run frequently to airport and duty-free store/shopping street. I'd love to stay again!

This was easily the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The rooms are huge and their twin beds are actually more like queen size beds. There were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and taxis to take you to places further out. I would live there forever if I could. My whole family loved everything about this Grand Hyatt!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with very friendly helpful staff. Well worth the cost. The rooms are stunning and have beautiful views of the city and the ocean. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful soaking tub. Many various dining options both within the hotel and also walkable in the surrounding neighborhood. Bus lines and/or taxis can take you all around the island to see the gorgeous natural beauty of the area.

Nice large rooms with floor to ceiling windows. The view of the coast was amazing. Large bathroom with a nice tub and separate shower. The staff was ok, but some seating in the lobby would be lovely as there are zero places for people to wait for others except for the lounge area. The 7-11 in the middle floors was a god send as we used it often. Would have been nice if they provided hot water to prepare some of the items they sold though. Room service was pretty good and the food was better than what we were expecting. Many restaurants surround the building.

Loved the stay, beautiful place, hotel room table was not wiped, I saw water marks from previous cold drinks, not a big deal, I loved the room! loved the view. Although the air conditioning did not get cold.

Great property however had a horrible check in experience. Employees at this property just will not greet at all. They need to learn customer service skills from Grand Intercontinental Parnass Seoul where employees will volunteer to help from the moment you get off the cab till getting to your room.

Might be the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. My first night I was having trouble with the Chromecast and called the help desk. They said they would send someone up right away to assist me. The guy showed up in about 90 seconds and I was on one of the higher floors so it was impressive he got up there so fast! The entire hotel, from the lobby to the room I stayed at, was spotlessly clean as well. My room was perfect too with a great view. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommended it for anyone looking for a place to stay while in Jeju. Also, make sure you eat at Cafe 8 (on the 8th floor) at least once during your stay. It has some of the best food ever and the staff are extremely friendly.

룸서비스를 어디 호텔에서나 시켜보왔지만 하얏트처럼 룸서비스 배달해주시는 직원분이 객실들어오기전 신발을 벗고 객실로 들어오는게 너무 인상적이였습니다 고객에 대한 서비스 및 배려가 어느 호텔보다 좋았습니다. 약간 아쉬운점은 6층 조식 메뉴가 다양성이 부족했던것과 로비 프런트 직원들의 미소 없는 표정의 AI친절도 같은 느낌이 있더라구요. 그외엔 호텔 서비스에 대해서는 너무 만족합니다

프론트로 전화통화하기가 하늘의 별따기처럼 어려웠음. 호텔내 베아커리에서 빵을 사온 후, 방에 포크나 접시등이 비치되어 있지않아 요청하기 위해 전화한 건데, 한시간만에 통화되었으나 포크를 한개만 가져다 줌. 메니저가 사과를 했음에도 그 후 와인잔 요청하는데도 시간 너무 오래 걸림. 하야트 멤버이고 좋아하는 사람으로서 이해가 안되는 점 이었음

The staff at the concierge desk were amazing. Randy and Peter were knowledgeable and kind and had wonderful suggestions.

It was very conveniently located. It only takes 10 minutes from Jeju Airport. Hotel provides No shuttle service though. I enjoyed nice ocean view from the room. Room size was good enough for party of 2 or 3. I tried 4 Restaurants at the hotel. All foods that I tried were super tasty. I would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay because the hotel is beautiful and so many options for food. The pool is magnificient and opening late was an excellent idea. The shopping stores within the hotel was very reasonably priced. The buffet lunch was very delicious with so muc variety. The free shuttle bus service was very useful and welcomed.

We loved the rooms but the food was hit and miss. We did not enjoy the (expensive)breakfast buffet or the Japanese restaurant. The hotel is just like a Vegas hotel with lots of shops, which is fun.

The stay was great , but I can’t eat in any restaurant in the hotel coz no one at the hotel serve (HALAL) food

Excellent option for staying in Jeju. Rooms have amazing views, are comfortable and modern. Breakfast is an absolute highlight of the trip. Everything was fresh, delicious and the variety was mouthwatering. All kinds of Korean staples plus the usual international fares. Only 10 minutes from the airport and the hotel offers free shuttle starting at 6am. Two pools (one indoors one outdoors), and they’re both super fun. Staff throughout the property was friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel 100%

This property is like a resort! It has a shopping mall attached that has 300 Korean brands stocked. Within the shopping area there are 14 restaurants. We went to the Chinese Hotpot restaurant and the food was excellent. Level of service is second to none. This is a true 5 star resort. The beds are divine and rooms are contemporary and loads of place to put cases and clothes. The room felt like an apartment. Well worth your money if you like luxury and a great place to lay your head.. oh and the toiletries are Balmain if you into that 😉

The largest hotel/resort in jeju-city - extensive amentiies, restaurant, shopping options. Free parking. Excellent service and staff. Room with fantastic city/ocean view and expansive windows to enjoy the view. Enjoyed coffee/breakfast and dinners at the Pocha restaurant, where with beautiful views of the city, and helpful excellent staff.
