Hyatt Centric Janakpuri New Delhi

The property is not 5 star. In need of a major upgrade. But, the price is accordingly lower. There is construction and drilling which starts in the morning. Convenient location for the metro.

This was a very poorly run hotel, the Hyatt name is being ruined by this hotel ownership, broken elevators, horrible front desk staff, over priced and under delivered, dirty filthy rooms with smelly bathrooms

I stayed at this Hotel for the last 2 days of my holiday and deeply regret it. I had to change rooms twice because of cleanliness and safety which took a very long time. The staff were very unempathetic and unhelpful when it came to resolving my issues, my shower didn’t work, there were no water bottles available everytime I asked for one. The steam room was out of service and I was not told, there was no fridge or bath robes in my rooms. For the Hyatt hotel overall very very poor facilities and non existent customer service.

My room had internet issues and it took couples of hours to fix it. All treadmills in hotel gym were not down.

The hotel, its central, close to the blue metro location (Janakpuri West station) and its enormous grounds are all features to like. The hotel is trying to modernize and improve from a legacy property which it used to be 3 years ago, so you may run into phases of construction there during your stay. The food in its restaurant is just decent with nothing standing out for its quality or flavor. Although their dinner prices are similar to other 5 star hotels in Delhi, the quality and levels are behind those surely. Non veg foods are dominated by chicken or basa fish (both cheaper proteins), and the flavors are just hanging in there for survival. I should know because I have been into cooking for the past 4-1-2 decades. I shared my honest feedback with the hotel management the day of checking out and it seemed they were very welcoming of the critical, but helpful feedback. Mt whole intent is that they get to run this hotel better than I found it, and I am sure they can with a little more focus and rigor of processes.

Fuori dal centro di Delhi, ma la metro è a pochi metri dall'hotel che in 20 30 minuti ti porta al centro oppure all'aeroporto in circa 40min. L'hotel sebbene un 5 stelle è in fase di rinnovo e gli arredi sono un po' old style. È comunque è una valida struttura. La piscina è abbastanza grande e pulita. Intorno ci sono banche per prelevare i necessari contanti.

Room was very dirty even they don’t provide hand towels. We requested three times for hand towels laundry Contractor not came yet also swimming pool was not working, but they charge full price. I also paid extra for the breakfast.

High time they need to renovate their rooms…no wifi n TV working

We booked because they had a great outdoor area and pool. Both were unavailable and appeared to have been for some time. When I asked about it I was continually pushed from person to person. Once I checked out they offered me a complimentary lunch for the next day! I was in a different city by then. Felt very orchestrated and SOP

The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. Thankyou Priyanka (Manager Housekeeping) for checking with me about my room. Check-in & checkout were easily handled by staff members (Shreya and the guy on checkout don’t remember his name). Thanks to Arna at the desk. Huge thanks to Karisma at the front desk for being always welcoming and looking after my request whenever I required assistance. Thanks to her again for organising Spa session at Tattva, which was another wonderful experience. The facilities were first-class from the elegant lobby and relaxing pool area to the well-equipped gym. Breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options. Room should have a pen and notepad. Security team at the entrance was fabulous. Thanks to smiling faces Santosh and Neelu. Everything about my experience felt luxurious yet comfortable. I left feeling truly pampered and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Delhi.

The hotel has become rather run down and is definitely not 5 star quality. The room is very basic and the woodwork is peeling off. Overall cleanliness is less than average.

Clean room staff very helpful

Rooms are not clean

I called the hotel two days before my flight to arrange a pickup. I spent 12 minutes on the phone with the receptionist, who assured me the pickup was arranged and that I didn’t need to worry. However, when I arrived at the airport, no one was there to pick me up. This was extremely stressful, especially as a female traveler standing alone for 45 minutes trying to find help. Thankfully, Expedia’s agent was very supportive and helped me resolve the situation, which I deeply appreciate. However, the hotel failed to send someone to pick me up as promised and seemed unconcerned about their mistake. Eventually, someone arrived to pick me up after 45 minutes. Additionally, I had to repeatedly ask for bottled water during my stay—sometimes two or three times before I could get it. The cleanliness of the hotel was also very disappointing. It was not clean at all, and I have photos to prove it. Upon arriving, I immediately had to request new bed sheets because it was clear the sheets hadn’t been changed from the previous guest.

I stayed before in this property… I liked it, but this time very disappointed. My room was not clean at all, tabs had rust on it, dirty furniture and floor. I clicked a lot of pictures too. Not satisfied:(

The rooms were very dated. We was taken to a room that smelt of damp. Staff then showed us two other rooms which also had a damp smell. Bathroom conditions were not of a good standard. Infact I had to question myself if this is a genuine Hyatt. The dated wooden floor was stuck and the rugs in the room were dirty. I would not class this as a 5 star property.

The cleanliness of the place is severely lacking — even the toilet was clogged upon arrival. Although a service technician was called, the issue remains unresolved. Additionally, the air conditioning is barely working, and we noticed a roof leak in the hallway leading to our room. Considering the amount we paid, the quality of service and overall experience fall far short of expectations. Even during the breakfast buffet, we had to wait over an hour just to receive a cup of coffee after placing our order with the staff.

Dirty rooms torn flooring but good manager

The property was extremely filthy. The restrooms were awful and poor quality. The bedsheets and the room smelled like it was contaminated by abestos.

Clean room

Room was spacious and decent. A little loud sometimes at night but overall the stay was good and staff were there to assist. Needs a little love in some areas of the hotel. Will recommend this to tourist and locals.

The hotel has undergone upgrade changes on the entry & reception areas from when the hotel was known as the “Picadelly Hotel” This very nice transition and much needed upgrade unfortunately have not included the rooms, which is still really “worn” and without any improvements from the old hotel. So until this happens I will be looking for other hotels in the proximity. Staff was very friendly and morning buffet also “upgraded” from earlier - so upgrade the rooms, and I will see you again - hopefully soon.

Rampant prostitution, drunk neighbours and the walls are thin - good luck if you are on a business trip and need a peaceful night sleep.

Not of Hyatt Global standard but if it is available at discounted rate, it’s value for money . Some maintenance issues . like the door access stopped working as the lock aux battery wasn’t work . secondly , bathing , excess water over flowing and not seeping properly . hotel is centrally located. near a metro station to access to CBD of New Delhi is good

Firstly the lock wasnt working for the room, so they changed the room after going all the way to 8th floor. The new assigned room's AC wasnt working. The maintenance was called and he said the cooling will happen but very slowly and that too it will stay between 22-23 degree. Complained about it almost every night, yet they didnt bother to change the room.

Room was okay but the next door neighbour were quiet loud. No complimentary meals were provided

The staff here is incredible they go above and beyond to really help you. I really want to point out two people Arabinda who was our house cleaning guy, no matter what he kept our room always clean and went above and beyond. Also Prem gagan he was taking care for us breakfast area. Just unbelievable service by both of them! The hotel itself is clean and safe but the staff makes the stay amazing. Will def stay here again.

I arrived at the hotel early morning and there was no help to take your luggage to the reception. I have to carry 2 big suitcases by myself. Even at the time of check out, there was no help to bring it down. Room service and food was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Centric Janakpuri. The staff was exceptional throughout our visit. From the guards at the checkpoint and the security team at the gate, to the front desk, dining room staff, kitchen team, hostess, housekeeping, and bell staff everyone contributed to a genuinely pleasant experience. Special thanks to Vishnu from housekeeping, Sudhir (whose tea we already miss), and Shivani & Amardeep at the security checkpoint for their warm and welcoming service. They truly made our stay memorable. There were a few initial hiccups with the room, but the overall experience was excellent.

My overall stay was OK but the service was lethargic. Check out experience was terrible. They charged me for food but did not give any bill. I was told it would be delivered via email in few hrs, but even after a week there is no response from them. Overall hotel is ok only if you are ok with laid back and lazy service.

It’s a nice , clean property. Good staff. Good location. However property isn’t 5 star as listed in Expedia. Worth the price I booked it for.

well within the city and nearby local convenience, good ambience, well behaved staff and over not no so costly.

Hotel rooms are quite old and badly need a renovation, long check in & check out ques at the reception. Location is good and is just beside the Metro. Overall quite ok if you're looking for a budget 5 star option when compared to other 5 Star hotel prices.

インドの一般的な外資系ホテルのレベルは分かりませんが、そんなに悪くありませんでした。 特に問題に感じたことはありません。ただ、未就学の小さいお子さんがいる家族にはお勧めしませんが、普通の観光やビジネスであれば問題ありません。 なお、ホテル周辺は周りはかなり雑多な市街で、インドを旅慣れてる人以外が出歩くのはお勧めしません。

WORST OF ANY HYATT BRAND HOTEL THAT'S SEVERAL YEARS AWAY FROM BEING FIXED. NOT RECOMMENDED. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are same broken down they have been for past few years, bathrooms have IRON RUSTED old decayed fixtures. Awful moist musty stench in rooms. Dirty curtains falling apart. None of the rooms are renovated in any way, DO NOT TRUST THEIR PHOTO-SHOPPE MARKETING PHOTOS. Only entrance lobby and the one restaurant have been rebuilt. Upgraded room are no different besides being on a higher floor with a bath tub cramped into small bathroom space. Inferior staff. Gave us room that was already pre-occupied. Next room #928 was in nonworking condition with a nonworking phone, nonworking ac, broken trash cans with lids that don't open, a broken side light, a lose toilet seat had to be fixed at 4am when used, missing room items. Housekeeping are not attentive to keeping rooms clean or stocked. Breakfast buffet horrible with minimal items. Made to order eggs & dosa stand left unattended and/or food delivered with delays. Mismanaged waiters and mismanaging manager just walk around pretending to be busy ignoring guests. Beverages are not self serve. Non working bread toaster had guests facing danger of pulling their toast out of the electrical toaster with metal tongs. Despite expense card filed with front desk for several days stay expenses, kitchen staff could not find it on multiple occasions - harassed, talked down to us & followed us to the room for immediate cash payments

This hotel shouldn't be Hyatt. The hotel AC didn't work, TV didn't work, the bar didn't have single malt. I have never have this experience in any Hyatt.

It was amazing very comfy bed and breakfast was great we all love and feel so nice .
