Le seul bémol c’est que notre chambre est trop loin du restaurant et de la piscine à chaque fois il fallait appeler le shuttle pour venir nous chercher et des fois ça prends bcpppppp de temps je vous conseille de réserver dans le bâtiment principal pour éviter le trouble à part de ça tout était excellent on a adoré personnel très serviable et gentil !

Great hotel! Huge complex and about a 5-10 minute walk to reception if you get the rooms furthest away from reception. They do have a golf buggy that will Come pick you up however. Nice pool, great breakfast choice!

Great location and breakfast. Excellent check in. Convenient parking and nice deck facing marina. Only issue was thin walls/ loud guest. No lights in kitchenette area or frying pan (we did not cook so not an issue for us). Will stay here again if we return to the Algarve area.

Great location beside the marina and the beach. Easy access to the main street of the resort via the steps of the old fort. Ideal quiet location but close to all the bars and restaurants. Very good breakfast. Only complaint would be the prices of the pool bar compared to the resort. Very relaxing.

We had a marina view apartment for 2 adults and 2 teenagers-clean and spacious with a large comfortable double bed in the separate bedroom and 2 single sofa beds in the lounge area.1 sofa bed was very comfortable, 1 looked more flimsy but was adequate. Big pool and always managed to get sun beds even though it was peak season. Pool bar was a good option for lunch and had reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection including eggs made to order. A short walk to the beach with lots of good restaurants nearby.

Pros: Huge very comfortable bed Housekeeping daily Large room with sofa, good choice of tv channels and kitchen area with a fridge that worked really well Great air con Good breakfast Huge pool and lots of sunbeds available at all times Great selection at breakfast (coffee really good too) Lovely location Nice food and choice of drinks at pool bar Cons: Although spacious the room feels a little tired Shower over bath is adequate The pool is missing a fair few tiles and daily there were plastic cups from the day before scattered around Price of drinks at pool bar very high (not often mini bar drinks are cheaper!) Can’t remember what the hotel pitches itself at but we would say it’s a 3 star

Good experience overall. The breakfast and swimming pool were great. However, we got the older rooms in the remote side of the property - which were a bit dated. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable at all and the distance to the main part of the hotel was a bit inconvenient (the golf cart shuttle service was often not responsive). The cost of food and drinks at the pool bar were outrageous.

Enjoyed the NH Marina Portimão. Friendly staff. The room was spacious, a bit older, but very clean. We were in the Marina side. There is also Deck & Sun side. The brunch was really delicious and lots of options. Would recommend staying there.

Truth be told we were disappointed by this hotel. We arrived before check in and totally understood the room not being ready, but then it took over an hour and half after the resort posted check in time for it to be ready. We were given a voucher for drinks but had issues using it, which eventually got sorted out. A massive music festival had just wrapped up, but it took three days for it to be cleaned off the beach so a good portion of beach was blocked off during our stay, and had I known this we would have reconsidered staying. The breakfast staff were lovely, and there were many options available. We had a half board package and were told we could switch dinner for lunch, so we did and after being told we could each order a starter, a main and a dessert, we were made to feel greedy for ordering and ended up just sharing dishes as they seemed so annoyed with us. The room was spacious and a great view of the marina but the bathtub barely drained, even after we asked for it to be looked at, there was hair on one of the towels, and the tea that was complimentary was never replenished. The pool bar would be convenient but the prices were quite high and the service very slow, over 25 minutes to get a pre packaged ice cream and a pop. Other customers had to walk away from their orders because they were going to miss their boat tour. Overall it felt like the hotel was more concerned with saving money than its guests. Disappointed. Had high hopes.

This was a very good place to stay in Portimão, Portugal. The view of the marina and the quiet were delightful. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance (very close). We were accepted into our room 4 hours early. The room was a little dated, but extremely clean with a kitchenette. The price was very good. Thank you

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels am Jachthafen hat uns sehr gefallen, jedoch sind die Häuser extrem hellhörig. Wenn man Pech mit dem Nachbarzimmer hat und dort der Fernseher noch sehr spät läuft, dann ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Die Zimmer selbst sind kein 4*-Standard, sie haben den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Das Frühstück war hingegen sehr gut.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We reserved with half board, so we had dinner, wich was very convenient because you don't have anything in a short distance. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! The hotel is beautiful and rooms are spacious and well equipped with kitchenette. Con: our room (021) was at the far part of the property, so when was pleasent was a nice walkable 15 minutes distance around the Marina; when it was not, they have golf carts to take you to your room.

Views of the marina from our room and rooftop deck were amazing ! The unit was well equipped and comfortable. The beds were comfortable except the couch which my daughter slept on was quite hard. The buffet breakfast was amazing and the views from the restaurant also amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

Staff at check in were very helpful and offered to store our bikes in the garage if we didn’t take them to our room. The room had a small kitchen area and plenty of space. Breakfast the next morning was good but we did think the Euro 20 pp if you take anything from it a bit odd. (especially for this standard of hotel) We quite off take a coffee and pastry back to enjoy our on balcony before starting our day.

From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty for taking a banana or croissant out of the breakfast buffet seemed a bit harsh. These comments are only in hope that NH pays some attention to these issues and improves. Aside from these annoyances we had a great visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, the views and location are great. Would have been just that much better if the room didn't remind me so much of a 70's Daytona Beach spring break hotel. Even so, overlooking the irritants, we would gladly recommend the NH Marina Portimao Resort.

I stayed at the same resort in the fall of 2019 and knew exactly what to expect. Rooms were simply decorated, but spacious, clean, with a balcony and a nice view of the marina. It was nice to have a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, a cook top and utensils. Location was very good and so was the included breakfast. We stayed there after the season, in early November, which was reflected in the price and was a good value.

The pictures are deceiving. This is an older resort that hasn’t been updated.. cracked tiles, missing knobs. Marinaside rooms offer obviously better views but also privacy as the inside rooms facing the pools allow for other people to fully view into the room. Luckily we were able to change our room from poolside to marina side on the second night.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was comfortable but not 4 star. It needs attention paid to many repairs like broken tiles, shower attachment not working, knobs of fixtures and fittings lose, broke or missing. The breakfast is decent and evening meal fair. The staff didn’t give us information about the cards they gave for towels - where to get them, are drinks included in evening meal. The mark up onsite ice-cream or soft drinks is triple that of the little corner store by the beach/roundabout so we chose to use this. Cleaners were really friendly but the pool cafe staff not so friendly. We generally enjoyed our stay but over priced and over rated. I rate it 3 star and wouldn't price it at more than £180 per studio room per night if room only.

The staff were very nice except for one man who angrily told me to get my service dog out of the lobby. I had just popped in to ask a quick question so I left immediately, however, the lobby was the only place he was welcome other than my room. The man was Jose, apparently a manager. They also did not return my deposto for my garage key. The room had no heat the first night and it was very cold. The room was very old and had water damage on cabinets. It was very noisy and there were gaps around the door so I heard everything from the hall. The breakfast included was good. Enjoyed custom omelette, fresh fruit. Prices in the restaurant were quite high for Portugal.

Excellent hotel in fabulous position. Set just at the end of a beautiful beach filled with lots of great beach bars and restaurants. If you were looking for more nightlife you walk up the steps and not only are you afforded wonderful views you have more bars and restaurants. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Will definitely stay again.

Holiday with 2 children. All good! We stayed in an apartment by the harbour and the views were stunning. The location is so unique. We had to waste the children when walking to the pool as there’s no barrier from going off into the harbour but that didn’t make it difficult. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was friendly and staff were great. Poolside food service was great, the food menu was amazing. The veggie burger was a highlight. Buffet breakfast was great, evening buffet was lovely too. The pool was salted and not chorine which confused us but we guess it was normal? 😂 there was only 1 toilet by the pool but luckily we went during quiet season so it wasn’t a problem but I imagine if it’s busy it would be difficult. We would absolutely go again to this hotel. No negatives for us.

Recepcionistas gentis e prestativos. O quarto é grande , com camas grandes e muito confortáveis. O banheiro é de bom tamanho . Mas o diferencial é o café da manhã: completíssimo, vários tipos de ovos, queijos, presuntos além de frutas e uma variedade de pães e doces. Noto 1.000.

Breakfast lacked cereals, the fresh omelettes were good, cooked pancakes while you wait would have been nice. Buffet evening meal offered homemade soup, great variety of mixed salads, small choice of meat, fish dishes (end of season -November). The chips were luke warm and soft kept under a dome which wasnt the best storage solution.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. We hadn’t intended to eat at the hotel every night but we did as the food was excellent and well priced for a four star hotel.

Really nice place in a good location at the far end of the beach which was a five minute walk away and close to some nice beach front restaurants but fairly quiet and away from the noisier areas of Praia da Rocha. Rooms were spacious and well maintained with side on views of the river and passing boats. Breakfast/dining area was great with options to sit inside if too hot or outside on a terrace overlooking the marina and river traffic. The quality and choice of food at breakfast was excellent. The pool is pretty big which meant it didn’t feel crowded with three or four small groups of people playing throw and catch. There was also plenty of sun loungers. The downsides … when we arrived at 3.30pm one of our rooms was not ready. We were told it would be roughly 30 minutes but it was over an hour before we gained access. We managed because we had two rooms booked and were given a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. But arriving at that time we didn’t expect to have to wait. Which leads to the other negative point. The cleaning system was disorganised and meant that our rooms were not always cleaned when we wanted. We went out at 10.30 one day and returned at 5.30 to find our room had not been cleaned despite having the sign on our door. On other occasions, the cleaning was pretty cursory - limited to towels being folded and the bed made. Not the end of the world but slightly disappointing.

I liked the big spacious room with a big bathroom including the bathtub and bidet. After traveling Europe and staying in small spaces this room was like heaven. The balcony overlooking the marina was an added bonus especially for the morning coffee outside. I was charged for the coffee pods which was disappointing. That should have been complimentary. I missed the breakfast included and at check-in that should have been made more clear with a tour of the eating areas. I enjoyed it on the last day and it’s one of the big benefits that I unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy. I booked through Expedia and maybe if I had dealt directly with the hotel that important detail would have been more clarified. The attendant driver who helped with luggage and getting to and from the room was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and efficient. He deserves a raise!! Overall I highly recommend this place and I plan to return the next time I’m in Portugal. For certain.
