The property and staff are really good. However, the cell phone plugs next to my bed did not work and when I plugged my phone in overnight to recharge, ALL THE POWER GOES OUT WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE LIGHTS to sleep. MY PHONE WAS DEAD IN THE MORNING. It was a real issue. Also, no swimming pool.

Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert, die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist modern, sauber und neu. Das Personal ist in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich. Der Check-Inn ist rund um die Uhr möglich. Die Lage fast direkt am Ku'damm ist phantastisch, dazu gibt es unmittelbar daneben ein günstiges Parkhaus (die Hotelgarage war während unseres Aufenthalts nicht nutzbar). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und das Frühstückslokal so groß, daß sich auch bei starkem Andrang ein Platz finden läßt - wir sind sehr zufrieden und werden wiederkommen.

Great central location in a nice neighborhood. Previously stayed when the hotel was the Steigenberger, this hotel was a 5* and had better creatures comforts in the rooms. Breakfast was very overpriced at €32 per person, many great spots nearby for breakfast such as the KaDeWe and Enzo's. Staff were very attentive and gym is well equipped.

Lovely helpful staff, great location with loads of shops nearby, comfy bed, gym has everything you need. Breakfast has a great selection. The lobby is very welcoming and the bar area is a nice place to have a drink and some food. No complaints, would stay here again!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Top Lage. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig mit Prosecco und frische Möhren und Äpfel um sich seinen Saft selbst zu machen. Die Bar ist zwar nicht günstig, aber hat dafür reichlich Angebote. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Schön rennoviertes Hotel im Zentrum und nahe der Shopping Meile am Kudamm. Direkt vor einem Park und deshalb trotz zentrumsnaher Lage sehr ruhig. Schöne Lobby mit guter Bar, Frühstück mit guter Auswahl und Restaurant mit kleiner Karte - aber sehr lecker. Das Zimmer ist ebenso neu rennoviert und sehr zweckmässig. Sauberkeit war ok, aber nicht perfekt, z.B. Haare in der Duschwanne. In der Junior Suite gibt es keinen Schreibtisch, obwohl so beschrieben (deshalb kaum geeignet für 2 Tage Hotel-Office). Leider hatten wir auch 2 Issues: 1) Zimmer war bei Ankunft total kalt, bis wir festgestellt haben, dass der Vorhang im Fenster eingeklemmt war und damit die Klimaanlage (welche auch als Heizung dient) nicht aktivierte. Reception hat jedoch schnell mit zusätzlichem Heizkörper aushelfen können, so dass das Zimmer nach 24h angenehm warm war. 2) Eine Service-Angestellte (Room Service) hat sich in unserer Minibar bedient und die angefangene Flasche auch noch stehen lassen ... (ein absolutes No-Go!). Fazit: gutes Hotel, mit sehr gutem Service an der Front (Reception, Restaurant, Bar) und leider der Hotel-Kategorie nicht entsprechendem Room-Service (Reinigung, Bereitstellung des Zimmers).

Hotellet er godt placeret, personalet er venlige. Men sengetøj var beskidt. Vi klagede og fik efterfølgende nyt men som vi også opdagede var beskidt. I forhold til pris spiller det ikke helt, men det er bestemt ikke det værste sted at overnatte.

I stayed here for three nights during ITB and paid about $425 per night, which included breakfast. The hotel's location was excellent, and I have no complaints in that regard. However, the check-in process was quite slow. There were only two staff members at the front desk; one struggled with the check-ins while the other was preoccupied helping an man with a map issue. The woman handled five or six check-ins on her own while the other staff member seemed unproductive. I commend the receptionist who was working on the evening of March 3rd for her efforts. The room itself was clean and in decent condition, but there was a significant issue: there were no amenities whatsoever. There were no slippers, water, shoe cleaner, or cotton buds—absolutely nothing. This is completely unacceptable. When I brought this up at the reception, they claimed to be an environmentally friendly hotel, which I found to be a poor excuse. Additionally, housekeeping during my three-night stay was inadequate; the linens were not changed, and the towels were simply left in a pile in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast was average, nothing noteworthy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not choose to stay here again. I also want to highlight that the staff generally seemed rude and there was a noticeable lack of friendly faces.

Excellent hotel. New. Launched two months ago. The rooms (regular) are small but comfortable. There is everything you need. The only downside is that there are no slippers or bathrobes. Cleaning is done daily and efficiently. There are breakfasts, for an additional fee, but I'm not a supporter of breakfast at the hotel, so I can't give an assessment. Very nice bar on the 1st floor. The bartender prepares excellent cocktails, even those that are not on the menu. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The only minus, the windows looked towards the park and either in the park, or in the night bar that was on the opposite side of the hotel at night there was a scream, but such that it was heard through the closed window. But this is not the problem of the hotel, but the municipality and the police that allow this. I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL AND I AM PLANNING TO VISIT IT AGAIN.

Only issue I had while staying here was the room air conditioning was not good enough by a long straw …the temperature on the lowest setting was highly inadequate and the power of the fans was also inadequate…for example the public areas were far cooler than our room !!

Very good location near to U-bahn and S-bahn stations. Also well located for Kudam shopping area. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Rooms were superb and comfortable and found the stay excellent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Berlin.

We visited Berlin during recent heat wave. This DoubleTree hotel has an excellent air condition. It was so pleasant to stay at hotel during hottest hours. The hotel breakfast is excellent. Wifi is fast too. Finally the location is really nice. Metro, train and bus station are near by. There are also plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended!

L'hôtel est de bonne qualité, "à la HILTON", très américain dans le style (on se croirait aux USA). Par contre, les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, et ce qui manque le plus sont les espaces de rangement, surtout si on y passe plusieurs jours... Et dans la salle de bain, comme souvent, il manque de crochets pour y accrocher sacs, linges et trousses de toilette....

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location, close enough but also far enough away from transport links for it to be very quiet at night. Hotel reception is very nice with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were all very attentive and the breakfast buffet was outstanding!

We were blown away by the service at the hotel. There was a staff issue during our stay but they rectified it right away. We truly appreciated their hospitality. Thank you again to Mr. Deichmann for your remarkable service! The hotel itself is new, clean, modern and beautiful. It is located in a great location. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Our daughters loved this hotel and had the BEST time! Thank you so much for taking care of us. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at the double tree. The location was very ideal and easy for getting around, lots of shopping and dining options located within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Nicholas at the front desk, such a star. We would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Berlin and would stay there again when we return.

Otelin konumu çok güzel. Otelin genel olarak yeme içme, fitness, spa gibi imkanlarının olması ve bunların kalite düzeyi oldukça iyi. Check in saati inanılmaz geç. 15.00 te odayı vereceğiz diyorlar hazır değil diyorlar ama bu saatte bile odayı alamıyorsunuz. Tek sıkıntıyı girişte resepsiyonda yaşadık. Hem odayı alırken çok uzun sürdü bekleme durumumuz hem de otelin ücretini tekrar ödetmeye çalıştılar ve ödediğimi söyleyip tekrar kontrol etmelerini istedim. Böyle bir sorun yaşanmaması gerekiyordu. Very good location near to U-bahn and S-bahn stations. Also well located for Kudam shopping area. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Rooms were superb and comfortable and found the stay excellent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Berlin.

Unser Wochenendaufenthalt war wirklich PERFEKT!! Das Hotel ist direkt am KuDamm, hat 2 U-Bahnhaltestellen 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und ist zu Fuß nur 2 Minuten von der Einkaufsstrasse entfernt. Der Service & das Zimmer waren eine absolute 10/10. Unser Highlight war die Hotel Lobby und Bar, wo man, vor allem im Winter, gemütliche Abende mit leckeren Drinks genießen kann. Wir würde immer wieder herkommen und es jedem weiter empfehlen!

Clean rooms and in a central area. However the park in front of the hotel is very sketchy with lots of homeless people and shattered glass, not something they can control, but just didn’t feel safe walking there. Staff was friendly, but wouldn’t allow you a 1 hour early check in.

The room was smelled like cigarette smoke and I tried to reach out the reception by phone but neither reception nor housekeeping did not answer my call. Afterwards I gave up and unpacked my stuff. But I mentioned this issue when I went out. With rolling eyes we can change your room, they said. I was there for only two days and did not want to spend time with packing and unpacking. I asked them if housekeeping could put an air cleaner and air freshener in the room, as 5 star hotels could take an action in such cases. They told me that they will sort it out. But no. Nothing changed. Again they offered me to change my room, but I refused as I said my time was limited. The other day I told them the housekeeping didn’t come by to my room for daily cleaning. They told me, the housekeeping only comes when I request it. 5 star hotel, I am amazed. Both reception and restaurant personnel were rude and they were not willing to help. This was my second stay at this hotel and surely the last one!

I stayed here for three nights during ITB and paid about $425 per night, which included breakfast. The hotel's location was excellent, and I have no complaints in that regard. However, the check-in process was quite slow. There were only two staff members at the front desk; one struggled with the check-ins while the other was preoccupied helping an man with a map issue. The woman handled five or six check-ins on her own while the other staff member seemed unproductive. I commend the receptionist who was working on the evening of March 3rd for her efforts. The room itself was clean and in decent condition, but there was a significant issue: there were no amenities whatsoever. There were no slippers, water, shoe cleaner, or cotton buds—absolutely nothing. This is completely unacceptable. When I brought this up at the reception, they claimed to be an environmentally friendly hotel, which I found to be a poor excuse. Additionally, housekeeping during my three-night stay was inadequate; the linens were not changed, and the towels were simply left in a pile in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast was average, nothing noteworthy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not choose to stay here again. I also want to highlight that the staff generally seemed rude and there was a noticeable lack of friendly faces.

Stunning stay, room was lovely, clean spacious. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Loved the welcome cookie, was great after a late flight. Close to various metro lines. Only downside is that breakfast is very expensive for what it is, but there are some lovely places to get pastries etc close by.

Nice hotel, from the close location to metro, great customer service, and clean spacious rooms. My only complaint is that the only breakfast option is a buffet and it is excessive in price (35 Euro) from what you get.

Das Frühstück ist fantastisch gut aber deutlich unangemessen teuer. Während der Buchung via Expedia sahen wir etwas einen deutlich geringeren Preis. Scheinbar wechselt dieser... Rings ums Hotel gibt es genug preiswertere Alternativen um ein schönes Frühstück einzunehmen...

About 3 mins walk to Europa centre, about 12 mins walk to KaDeWe department store and various restaurants. Staff are prompt and professional. Below average breakfast; poor choice of menu, subpar quality breads and lack of potatoes and sausages. It should be a crime to charge 25 EUR per person for that. Do not drink water prepared in rooms unless you are member of hotel chain or they'll charge you 4.5 EUR for each bottle.
About 3 mins walk to Europa centre, about 12 mins walk to KaDeWe department store and various restaurants. Staff are prompt and professional. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Top Lage. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig mit Prosecco und frische Möhren und Äpfel um sich seinen Saft selbst zu machen. Die Bar ist zwar nicht günstig, aber hat dafür reichlich Angebote. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Excellent breakfast buffet and dining area. Convenient water station on every floor, and 24-hour gym. No way to change or turn down the funky gym music, and you can smell the bacon from the kitchen if you go to the gym in the early AM lol. But still a great stay and will rebook if visiting again.
