The property was beautiful and clean. They have a nice outside garden bar with music. Breakfast was worth the money, lots of options. I would stay again. The only downside was the neighborhood, homeless sleeping on mattresses not to far from here. I thought this could be a seedy part of Rome, but Rome in general was seedy no matter where you stay. Graffiti on all buildings in good neighborhoods and bad.

I loved my weeks stay at the Cross Hotel. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. Helping with rides to and from airport, directions and rides to great restaurants the best sites and all the touristy things I wanted and needed. The breakfast included was my favorite. There was a great variety of hot food that filled me for most of the day. I traveled solo and recommend this Hotel to anyone headed to Rome. Ps: I forgot to mention the Garden bar and rooftop! So much fun.

I loved the rooftop and garden. The staff members were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to assist. The staff member gave us a map and showed us all the places we can visit and how far they were from the hotel. The colosseum was a 15 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. We loved everything about our stay.

Ótimo custo benefício . Quarto superior é muito bom! Tem estacionamento bem seguro. Levamos 15 minutos caminhando até Coliseum. O atendimento do Alex foi muito especial que levou nossas malas e nos deu dicas sobre a região .

Checkin was easy, the staff were able to organise an early check in which we appreciated as we used the day to explore Rome. We were allocated a room on level one in the main building overlooking the restaurant/bar. The room itself was very nice. The main bed area was spacious. The bathroom was small like most European hotel bathrooms. The shower was ok but there was not any decent water pressure or constant heat. A big negative was the noise. The restaurant bar closes late and there is clinking of bottles thrown in the bin regularly and the soundproofing on the windows were non existent. The other negative was the hotel hosted a private event in the bar right outside our window. Not an issue normally but we had a 5:30 am flight. When j went to find out how long the noise would persist at 11:30 pm they said half an hour max BUt the noise and event didn't finish until 2:30am which was extremely annoying as the people got louder the more drunk they were. The staff did turn down the music somewhat but doesn't help that you could still hear the individual conversations from the room even with the window closed.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at the Cross Hotel. The service from the front desk was terrific and the breakfast buffet was more than ample and always enjoyable. The outdoor restaurant was extremely convenient and provided exceptional service. Room service was swift and proficient.

The blow dryer didn’t work, and when we requested a different room, we were told the hotel was sold out. We tried opening the window for fresh air, only to find the air conditioning units directly below—blowing hot, musty air. Absolutely disgusting They refused to reimburse us for the night stay.

Minha experiência no The Cross foi simplesmente excelente! O café da manhã é perfeito: tudo muito fresco, com várias opções de frios, pães e os deliciosos cornetos recheados com creme e Nutella. Os ovos mexidos estavam no ponto ideal, cremosos e saborosos. O atendimento da equipe é impecável do início ao fim — desde as camareiras, que deixam os apartamentos impecavelmente limpos, até a recepção, sempre pronta para oferecer suporte, dicas e sugestões que tornam a estadia ainda mais perfeita. O ambiente do hotel é muito agradável, aconchegante e bem cuidado, transmitindo conforto e tranquilidade. A localização também é um ponto forte: em cerca de 15 minutos de caminhada tranquila é possível chegar à Basílica Santa Maria Maggiore, Coliseu, mercados e ótimos restaurantes. Além disso, a proximidade da estação de metrô e da Termini facilita bastante para chegar a qualquer ponto da cidade. Recomendo o hotel sem qualquer dúvida e com certeza voltaria a me hospedar aqui!

The facilities were clean and the location was excellent. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was perfect for a solo traveler. it was good value. However, I had a hard time sleeping over the weekend. It seemed like there was a student group staying, and the sound of doors slamming was constant and very loud.

Pros: Easy to park, friendly staff that speak English well and were able to get us checked in early Cons: Our door lock was broken so it was hard to get in and out, we had to carry a physical key. The AC doesn't get turned on until you are in the room with the key in the slot so it was very hot in the room when we were gone all day. The shower was INCREDIBLY small. I could barely move my arms and there was no shelving to put any of my shower products. The room was on a busy road and was very loud

Air conditioning was inadequate, as we were there during the heatwave. System struggled to keep up. Needed room card to keep system running during the day but housecleaning kept taking it out, so the room was hot when you came back to the room. Miscommunication between staff and management. Worlds smallest showers. We are not big people and needed to turn sideways to get into the shower. If you dropped the soap, you had to open the shower door and stick your head or ass out to give enough room to bend over to retrieve the soap. Don't know what larger people do but would have been comical to watch. Staff were very nice and helpful, location and transportation was good. Breakfast was good. Overall 3.5.

Extremer Straßenlärm bei geschlossenem Fenster, als ob Fenster gekippt wäre. Vorherige Anfrage per E-Mail für Zimmer zum Innenhof/Nebenstraße wurde ignoriert. Frühstück für Italien gut: Säfte, Pancakes, Eier, Wurst, Käse, Müsli, Gemüse, etc. Frühstücksraum im Keller hat etwas unangenehmen Charme einer Bahnhofshalle. Personal ist beim Abräumen der Teller etwas übereifrig und indiskret. Zimmer spartanisch aber ausreichend. Bad war winzig. Sauberkeit war noch ausreichend. Lage des Hotels nahe an Straßenbahnen und Metro, rundherum etwas heruntergekommen, aber noch akzeptabel - authentisches Viertel. Kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung nach Check-out. We only stayed one night when we had to reschedule our train to make our flight out of Rome so not much to contribute beyond that it was really well situated between train station, metro station, and airport, so would recommend to anyone who wants a Rome stay with a lot of transportation convenience! Also we got stuck on a replacement bus when our train got canceled so the 24 hour check in desk and friendly staff really helped, as we unexpectedly didn’t arrive till about midnight.

This hotel has been the best thus far on our Europe trip! I highly recommend this place as they are very friendly and extremely helpful. Angelica is the absolute best!!!!! So knowledgeable and extremely kind. She made our visit to Rome a wonderful experience. Seriously don’t look any where else, this hotel has it all. Good food, comfortable room, and very easy to hop on a bus (stop is at the hotel) or walk 10 min and hop on the metro line. 5+ stars!!!

I loved my weeks stay at the Cross Hotel. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. Helping with rides to and from airport, directions and rides to great restaurants the best sites and all the touristy things I wanted and needed. The breakfast included was my favorite. There was a great variety of hot food that filled me for most of the day. I traveled solo and recommend this Hotel to anyone headed to Rome. Ps: I forgot to mention the Garden bar and rooftop! So much fun.

The location was good, walking distance to bus and metro station. Safe area to walk at night time. My room was on what they called "first floor", which required climbing up almost 30 steps with no elevator. Upon check out there was no one to help with the bags. The night shift reception staff was not willing to help answer questions and was repeatedly dismissive and rude. Day time staff were respectful and nice. Check out was a hassle since the credit card machine was broken and I didn't have cash on me. The building was old and outdated. However, air-conditioning was nice and working which was very refreshing, there was a fridge and safe in the room which was nice.

From the reception Mgr (starts with a G) and Claudio the bartender were amazing. The room was nice and always cleaned. I had the best experience thanks to them. Friendly, courteous and they will take care of any problems. The breakfast had a great selection even though i only drink tea and croissants lol.. Claudio the bartender was amazing and very personable, if i needed anything he would take it to the garden so i could drink my beer and have food.. Even the taxi driver was great, they use electric cars and the driver is so nice and speaks a few languages so u will never feel out of place. Amazing experience would recomend to anyone.. Thank you to The Cross staff again

This was a great stay! Most staff were amazing. The only complaint was it was difficult to get food ordered at their garden bar as staff were not out there or would walk by and not check in with the guests sitting there. The one time we did finally request to order the bar manager seemed irritated that we were requesting service. Otherwise the other staff were very friendly and food was just good. The room was small but was clean as was the property.

We only stayed one night when we had to reschedule our train to make our flight out of Rome so not much to contribute beyond that it was really well situated between train station, metro station, and airport, so would recommend to anyone who wants a Rome stay with a lot of transportation convenience! The property was beautiful and clean. They have a nice outside garden bar with music. Breakfast was worth the money, lots of options. I would stay again. The only downside was the neighborhood, homeless sleeping on mattresses not to far from here. I thought this could be a seedy part of Rome, but Rome in general was seedy no matter where you stay. Graffiti on all buildings in good neighborhoods and bad.

The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to the Coliseum which was my main reason for booking. It's a straight 25 minute walk but there is very little in the way of decent cafes or restaurants in the immediate area. There is a metro station 10 minutes away so getting around is no problem. The Cross is a modern hotel and is well recommended.

The neighborhood didn’t look so good and more so across the street with people - homeless people sleeping outside. There was some damage to the building that was noticeable from the outside. More so there was a problem with my shower door and it was never finally fixed. I was there about 5 to 6 Nights. They did apologize for the inconvenience and try to offer me another room on my last night. There is no way I would use this property ever again on my next trip to Rome.

Well apportioned hotel with an interesting layout (spread across multiple buildings). It’s on the far east side of the city, within about a 6 minute walk from the nearby subway station. So it’s not the worst for sightseeing but not quite that convenient, either. I also found it annoying that even after housekeeping came, they would knock on the door during siesta and inquire about the stay.
