We had a fantastic time at the house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and communication was excellent. The location to CUA was perfect. It may not be the best house if you have someone with mobility issues as there are many stairs.

This interestingly titled listing is certainly an affordable home option (surprised to see it on Hotels.com - property is maintained by Evolve and it is nowhere mentioned in the listing), conveniently located in the city. However, it is not recommended and not suitable for business trips. I stayed here with two colleagues during a recent business trip. The home itself is spacious, with a large living area, a patio, a nice pool table, and plenty of open parking. That said, we encountered two significant issues during our stay. The second-floor bathroom commode clogged twice. We reported the issue in the morning but only received a phone call/ text later in the evening—by which time I was in back-to-back business meetings and didn’t notice the messages. They were apparently seeking permission to enter the property to fix the problem, which seemed unusual. We expected the issue to be resolved by the time we returned in the evening. Instead, we were informed that a plunger was available on-site and we could try to fix it ourselves as we did not provide permission in time. Unfortunately, we had to do just that—my colleague used the plunger late in the evening due to the unpleasant odor. However, the toilet clogged again the following morning, indicating a recurring issue and raising concerns about the overall property maintenance. While the property manager did apologize and offered a late check-out, it didn’t really help—since we needed to get ready and leave early for work.

My husband and I, along with our 3 adult children (and dog) came to DC for the Army/Navy football game. This home was the perfect place! It was clean, spacious and recently renovated. I was concerned about the stairs because of previous reviews. They really weren't that bad and there are railings to hold on to. We had a question about lighting in the living room and our rental representative answered me immediately. It's a short drive into central DC. We especially enjoyed the Segway tour around the monuments and dinner at The Hamilton. Closer to the house we enjoyed dinner at Busboys and Poets. I would highly recommend this lovely home!

The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. We had a great time in DC. Lost one star due to the need to repair the front steps - be careful!

Enjoyed this house for a family high school graduation. It is a clean, well-appointed house on a quiet street with easy parking. However, do not rent this house if you have anyone with mobility issues. The steep front steps are in need of repair and are a fall waiting to happen.
