Cozy cottage in downtown Hudson, WI!

The property was beautifully decorated we felt we were home. The location in a quite private neighborhood was very relaxing. We enjoyed the company of Cardinals and Bluejays and a pair of white squirrels. The backyard was equipped with everything we needed to grill Wisconsin Brats. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Anniversary.

This property is well kept and well stocked. Better than any hotel could be. It also has a backyard deck with a grilling area and a fire pit. It is close to down town as well. We will definitely try and stay here again when ever we are in town.

What a lovely stay we had! This cute home is perfect for a couple on a romantic get away. The back yard fire pit was wonderful to share a bottle of wine at on Friday night. The bed is super comfortable! Not like a hotel bed (even a NICE hotel bed). Way better. The decor is sweet, a lil rustic, and quirky - which I loved! Communication with the host was friendly, sincere and timely. It seems like he really enjoys hosting and making sure his guests are comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this. This was my first time booking a vrbo and Matthew the host and his property was wonderful! He answered all my questions. This is a great place to stay and was thankful it was pet and smoke free and very clean. The bed and furniture were very comfortable and was able to sit outside in front without getting wet with the roof overhang between rain showers. I liked this was in walking distance to the shops downtown.

Loved our stay here! The house is very clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed sitting on the porch while drinking coffee in the mornings. Highly recommend this house and will surely stay here again if we return to the area.

We stayed in Hudson here for the week as we worked remotely. The cottage is inviting in every way. All the amenities are provided and then some. We did use the Murphy bed, and it was surprisingly very comfortable and firm! We found ourselves dining on the porch often and watching all the bunnies and squirrels and other wildlife. The neighborhood is picture perfect for walking. We were easily able to cook in most nights. Downtown Hudson was just a short walk away. We would and will definitely book again!

Inside everything was spotless. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, and of course oven and fridge. Love the concrete counter tops! The living room was well appointed with a couch, two chairs, coffee and end tables, footstool, and a Murphy bed. We had a slight problem figuring out the Murphy bed but Matt resolved that for us in a timely manner. He was great to work with.The bathroom had everything we needed for our stay. Love the black and white decor. The house is in a very quaint neighborhood. There's an elementary school across the street from it but that never bothered us. The porch was so cute, I wish it would've been a little warmer to sit out there in the morning. Sat out there for a couple minutes one morning but it was in the low 50's so I wasn't there long. I did venture out to get some shots of the full moon one morning...early! Got some great photos and it was so peaceful.There's a garage for renters to use but we did not.We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family if they're going to visit the Hudson area. Stillwater, Hastings, Red Wing, and a few other Minnesota towns are close by.Thank you Matt for sharing this lovely place with us! Your pride and the way you care for this house really shows.

Such a fun stay in this adorable cottage with all the right amenities. Enjoyed the outdoor spaces for a.m. coffee and evening wine and relaxing. Though small and charming, the space was designed for maximum efficiency with comfort and current farmhouse decor. Would love to go back.

The home has everything you need with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture for relaxing at the end of your day. Our host was very communicative and helpful. During a 10-day booking, various groundskeepers and attendants came and went outside, perhaps three or four times. - The neighborhood is shady, peaceful, and quiet, with one exception: there are several schools in the vicinity. Expect extended bouts of recreational SCREAMING during the week :) - There are effective blinds/curtains on most windows in the house, but the front door (with large glass panes facing the street) has none. Guests seeking complete privacy (or with low light-tolerance sleeping on the Murphy bed nearby) will need to improvise. Our thanks to Matthew and his crew for their hospitality!

It’s a cozy tiny house in a quiet neighborhood. Well stocked with essential toiletries, cookware, and bedding. Stayed 2 nights and was not dissatisfied with anything!!

If you want a small tiny place to stay for a weekend. This place is the perfect one. It is spacious for a family of 4 or couples. My bf and I definitely enjoy staying there for a staycation. It was peaceful and I love the how the house is design. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

There was nothing that had not been thought of with this house. We loved sitting outside in the back watching the 3 white squirrels run around in the trees above! We would definitely go back for another stay!

Super cute and clean cottage. We stayed here while going to a wedding in the area, and it was perfect! Easy 1-mile walk into town and to the river. Would highly recommend!

Place was nice and comfortable. I would say not exactly walking distance to downtown as it’s almost a mile away, other than that we were happy with our stay!

We loved this place! So many lovely touches! Tasteful art on the walls... Cute little porch for our aperitifs! comfortable furniture. Well-stocked linen closet with soaps and styling gel... soft white towels. 4 miles from a wonderful park with a HUGE waterfall. 1/2 mile from town... All super easy. These owners have spent a LOT of money making this place beautiful. We Highly Recommend!
