Dog-Friendly Home ~ 14 Mi to Highmark Stadium

Overall a great stay for a quick weekend! Perfect location from the airport, Niagara Falls, and the Highmark Stadium!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very comfortable and close to everything.

6 plates for 8 of us and family stopping by, no mixing bowls {we left a few} but we made do. But otherwise a good time had by all!

Place was exactly what we were looking for. Only downside was that furniture layout in living room was not set up for friends to sit comfortably around the TV and hang out. Would have also liked to have access to an outside grill.

I did not want to write this review. I had tried contacting the property owner directly on multiple occasions to which we could never make contact and I finally gave up. I feel that this stay was so bad, it warrants a refund. There is only one bathroom. No half bath, or anything else. So imagine a 3 bedroom house with 4 beds and a full family inside fighting over bathroom time. Bathroom is tiny. Sink clogged upon arrival to which I unclogged it myself after 3 doses of drain cleaner. It’s a major clog and I could have fixed it, but it’s not my house. The beds are like sleeping on plywood, except potentially worse because they squeak and there is the expectation of a mattress there. How can you forget about the mattresses in a home where people want some comfort at the end of a day if they are vacationing? The kitchen was dirty as well, and cabinets filled with sawdust and other matter I don’t want to know about. The washer and dryer were the nicest things in the home, except for possibly the internet which was top notch. The home has a nice overall appearance downstairs, but the rest of the home was forgotten. I don’t know if someone ran out of money or what, but I could suggest some ways to make that a winner house that would be both attractive and comfortable, helping to achieve good reviews and long term success. PS, the cleaning lady is super sweet and seems to keep that place alive. My heart goes out to you and I’m sorry for the review, but I wanted to resolve it personally and could not get it addressed. Perhaps you will hear me out, and I will consider revising this post. Good luck!
