Spacious Stone & Cedar Lodge - pool, sauna, hot tub, bikes, fire pit, EVcharger.

Our large family stayed at the home for 3 nights. There was a lot to do for the adults and kids ages 5 to 14 - nice pool with floats and volleyball, a great hot tub, corn hole, a neat tree house, a big trampoline, basketball goal and a large firepit with plenty of wood. Inside we played board games, air hockey, pool and foosball. We never were bored or felt the need to leave the property to go do something. The rooms and beds were nice. The huge kitchen table and island worked out great for a large group. We also used the nice tables on the back deck and under the pergola. We truly enjoyed our stay. Sam was very good at communicating with us. It was a memorable and fun stay!

I would give this 6 stars if possible. Great location, great amenities. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit were excellent. We loved the outdoor deck as well. Nice, big kitchen and kitchen table. Sam was a fantastic host. Very helpful and courteous.

Wonderful property that worked very well for our family reunion. Pool was a hit with the whole family. The grand kids all loved the treehouse and trampoline. There is a very nice hot tub that really soothed the older folks muscles too! The house was very comfortable and well stocked with essentials. The kitchen is quite large and boasts a dining table that fit our group of 14 very nicely. The owner lives very close and is ready to help in any way. He will even help you build a fire in either of the 2 fire pits if you need him to!!

Our family had a great time staying at this lodge! Everyone enjoyed all the activities that were available. The grand kids LOVED the pool, trampoline and playset. We all also enjoyed the firepit !! Great place to stay. Hope to stay here again in the near future!!

The house was very clean and up to date with all the furnishings plus more. We really enjoyed our stay with so much to do at the house. Pool, hot tub and fire pit was our favorite. All beds were comfortable and large kitchen with island made it great for all of us to have breakfast and dinner together. Would recommend this house if you needed a get a way or celebration gathering just outside of Lexington. Sam was amazing and was willing to help with anything we needed.

The amenities such as game room, hot tub and pool were a pleasant addition not found at most properties. Easy access to multiple attractions including Keeneland and golf. Location was quiet and secluded. Recommended.

This was my family’s second year in a row at this beautiful vacation home (7 adults and 4 children). With some great additions our stay was even better than last year’s! Sam has added a huge Blackstone griddle on the outside porch, a big outdoor area with a covered pergola, a big family sized table and a brand new hot tub. Right next to this area is a new fire pit with lots of chairs - we made s’mores one night. The kitchen has anything you could possibly want and they have plenty of beach towels for the whole family so you don’t have to bring yours. They have a big washer and dryer so you can wash and dry them before you leave. I can’t say enough good things about the owner, Sam, and this amazing house!

The house had all the necessities and more. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living areas and pool, hot tub and fire pit. It was great for our grandchildren and entire family. Perfect for our family vacation.

Beautiful place! There were NO mosquitoes or any other pesky bugs! The pool and hot tub were great! The pool stayed clean, came with so many floats, and the outdoor area was very relaxing! Sam was an amazing host! We would gladly stay here again!

We have stayed in KY several times and this location was our favorite house, host and location out of all of them. Communication with the host, Sam, was great! He texted us all the information up front and met us at the house to give us a quick run down on everything. He was very friendly and welcoming. The house and yard was great for our multi generational family. There was something for everyone. The house was fully stocked and we didn’t really need to bring anything. Between the hot tub, pool, playset, trampoline, blackstone, and game room, we felt like it was home away from home. The location was great and close to everything you want or need. We had zero issues and can’t think of anything other than staying longer to make this a better vacation getaway.

This property was amazing! From the time we pulled in until we left it exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely communicative. Normally we are on the go the entire time we travel, but the house had so many amenities that we stayed in more than usual. It was clean and INCREDIBLY well stocked. The kids LOVED the pool & hot tub. The littles like the tree house and Playset. We all enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole. We played games and the kids enjoyed the rec room. We would definitely go back!

House was clean and we loved that we didn’t need anything but our personal items. Well stocked and very comfortable for our party of 10. Close to everything in Lexington. We also enjoyed the neighborhood and the peace and quiet relaxing around the pool. We even saw a few deer along the back of the property! Loved it, we will be back!

The house was the perfect accommodation for a week-long vacation for our whole family. There was ample room for each family unit to have their own space as well as gather together for meals, activities and conversation. We were also able to host nearby relatives during the day. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were clean and well maintained. The owner was very available and happy to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

This is our second time going to this location. So clean and inviting. We will be going again next year! A fantastic place to stay. I just can’t say enough good things about this trip!

We absolutely loved the property! We talked a couple times of coming back with our children. We were very impressed with the house, check in/check out, and the amenities on the property. The only slight complaint we had was there seemed to be a bit of dust in the house that made a few of us have a little bit of allergies. Everything else was absolutely perfect!!

The home and grounds were clean, neat and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had every appliance and dish/utensil that you could ever need. There was a vast library of DVD's available as well as a couple shelves of adult books were in the master bedroom walk in closets to enjoy. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows and blankets which was really a bonus. There was a nice sitting room/play room on the second floor with a pool table and a foosball table. The outside also had alot to enjoy. The owner had a bonfire set up for us and offered to make more for us. There was a pool (which was closed for the season). There is a nice large covered patio with plenty of seating and a grill. There is a trampoline and a tree house with 2 swings. Plus there were outdoor games and bikes available for us to use. This home also offers close proximity to several cities, including Lexington, for lots to do and good places to eat. Sam, the owner, was also very responsive to questions, very helpful with things to do and places to eat and just generally a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend this home/owner to everyone.

I was super pleased when we arrived. Very clean. Plenty of supplies. The pool was nice with loads of pool floaters. We spent hours playing volleyball and the kids had a great time. Thank you!

We have a tradition of attending the K3DE as a close to our daughters’ IEA Team riding season. This year we decided to all stay together in a house. Cedar and Stone Lodge was a perfect place for us to eat and rest up between each days’ events. Everyone had a room with comfortable, clean beds. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Unfortunately, we didn’t use the fire pit as it was as a rainy weekend. Everyone had plenty of space in the kitchen which had everything we needed to cook and clean up with. Sam, our host, was attentive and had things all ready for us. Definitely a wonderful place for a large group whether you are just staying there or have other activities in Lexington.

Mill Ridge horse farm tour was a great experience as well as Keeneland. The Ark Encounter is a little over an hour away and an amazing experience. It was spacious, comfortable, everything was well labeled so you could find what you needed.

This house fit all our needs. It was spacious and well-equipped, down to the spices in the cupboard. We enjoyed the quiet country setting and enjoyed exploring the area. Our only regret was that it was winter and we couldn't take advantage of pool and huge yard! P.S. The bath towels were fabulous, better than the nicer hotels where we stay.

We came to KY for our family vacation in our continuing effort to visit all 50 states. My wife and I along with 9 of our children ranging from 26-8 years of age arrived to a beautiful home, which was comfortable and spotless. The kids immediately spotted the pool and couldn't wait to jump in. We dealt out the rooms and everyone was more than comfortable for the week with plenty of space and privacy. Once we settled in Sam arranged to greet us. He filled us in on all the amenities along with suggestions for local attractions. We enjoyed everything; the pool, hot tub, fire pits, playground, trampoline, game room, Blackstone griddle, and more. The neighborhood was peaceful and enjoyable as well. We enjoyed many walks around the lake with picturesque views of the sunrise, sunset, and wildlife. Everything was perfect! Our host, Sam, thought of everything. The only thing you need to bring is food. He had an abundance of everything you can think of, pool towels, bath towels, pool toys, bikes, kitchen supplies, even an air fryer, and blender. Literally everything, If you forgot something, it's probably there. He even left a basket of various snacks and brought us fresh tomatoes. We stay at VRBOS every year and this is the first time we didn't have to go out to grab something. We truly enjoyed staying at this home while exploring KY. It was a pleasure meeting Sam and we greatly appreciated his hospitality.

We rented Stone and Cedar Lodge from Sam, who was an excellent host! Our kids and teens really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, trampoline, and game room with pool table, hockey and foosball. And the little touches really made it special - the rooms had ample closet space, towels were luxuriously thick, there were plenty of extra blankets and quilts. And our host was very accessible, checked on the hot tub, made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time - highly recommend renting this house from Sam!

Property manger was great. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Even left snacks and drinks when we arrived. Was a little cold for pool when we were there but he had a hot tub he set up for us to use instead. Even helped set up bonfire out back for us to have one night. Lots of fun things for kids to do as well. If we go back to area to visit I would definitely stay at this house again.

Sam was an excellent host. He stopped in to see if all was well. He had a campfire ready for us to light and was willing to stack another for the following evenings. We have young grandchildren so we could sit on the shaded porch and watch our kids and grandkids swim. 4.5 was the deepest and spacious enough for parents to play water volleyball while little ones swam. We loved the labeling of drawers and everything in between. Enough towels and even soaps were readily available. Highly recommend for families and friends. Thanks Sam!!!

We loved our stay from beginning to end! From my first communication with Sam and throughout the duration of my family's visit, Sam was responsive and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Check in was super easy due to Sam's great communications beforehand. We caught the outer band of Hurricane Helene, lost power for 1 1/2 days, Sam generously shared his generator with us. The house was super comfortable for my big family, clean, well maintained and stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc. you may need for food prep; plus outdoor BBQ and flat iron grill making cooking a breeze. There was so much to do at the house for all ages, the hot tub a big hit. The area surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Sam shared feeding time of his flock of ducks and geese with us, which our little ones loved. It was delightful. If our travels bring us back to KY, we most definitely won't hesitate to contact Sam ~ there's no better place away from home. Thanks so very much, Sam ~ The Opatz Family

Sam was an awesome host. He stopped by several time to ensure we could get the bonfire going and once to drop off some beverages for us to try. The lodge is very spacious, there were four couples and with five bedrooms we all had plenty of room. There were multiple different activities we could do including bags, hot tub and patio tables to play cards and hang out! If ever in this area I would highly recommend staying. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.We will be back soon!

Sam was very quick to respond to all communications. He was very accommodating and even went as far as offering to remove the trampoline from the property due to our concerns. The house was very comfortable for our group. The pool and deck area are perfect for allowing kids to swim and adults to watch them while relaxing in the shade. The younger kids enjoyed playing in the treehouse and we all enjoyed several evenings around the fire. In all our twenty years of family vacationing we have never before found a house so well supplied with soaps, shampoos, paper products, and cleaning supplies. We enjoyed Traveler’s (the neighbor’s cat) visits and the homegrown tomatoes Sam brought by were a special treat. This is a five-star property located in a country setting but close enough to the city to allow easy access to restaurants and fun activities if desired. We would definitely return if ever in the area.

Our group was in for a conference in Lexington. It is a good house for groups or a big family. The kitchen is well equipped and was very helpful as we cooked several meals. The kids loved the trampoline and the treehouse. Renter is extremely prompt and helpful in communication. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house with heated pool, hot tub and fire pit. Plenty of beds for large groups. Located 10 minutes South of Lexington with easy access to the bourbon trail. Host was extremely helpful.

The house in located just outside Nicholasville and a short drive to Lexington. Was very central to the activities that we had planned and had a great setup for the group we had staying with us. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub was a great addition along with the TV in the main living room. If planning a quite get together or a Bourbon tour this is a great choice.

Sam is an excellent host and is willing to help in any way to make your stay pleasant!! The house is very spacious and full of all the appliances and supplies you would need. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Sam has everything you need for a fun filled family vacation. We so enjoyed the covered deck where in between swimming in the pool we could sit and talk and still watch the grandkids while they played in the pool, jumped on the trampoline or climbed in the treehouse/swing. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the spacious kitchen and the large dining table seated all twelve of us while we ate. The guys and kids both had so many fun competitions playing pool and air hockey upstairs in the game room. The street goes around a lake where the grandkids loved riding their bikes and watching the geese. The house is also in a great location for easy travel to many sights. We were able to see The Ark, Shaker Village, the Kentucky Horse Park and ice cream isn’t far away:). We would definitely recommend this home!!
