Saint-Jacques – Air-Conditioned Accommodation in the City Center

We never got to stay in this property because one hour before we were due to check in, we received a message from the owners telling us that our booking had been cancelled because there was 'a bug in our tool'!?!? The owner even put the phone down on me when I called to try to find out what was going on. A 45mins phone call to Vrbo still couldn't resolve our situation. They too called the owners and were told it was because of bed bugs!!! Seriously?!?! We suffered an extreme amount of stress and anxiety trying to sort the situation after a very long 6 hour drive and were very disappointed that the end of our holiday had to end like this. Vrbo were unable to secure us with an emergency hotel (we sorted this ourselves) and all I can hope is that they offer us a full compensation for their poor service and lack of adequate solution and the owners of the property in Reims are penalised for their appalling behaviour; cancelling a booking one hour before arrival is totally unacceptable.

The apartment itself is in the absolute center of tow; next to Norte Dame and across from Galleries Lafayettes. Ideally located. The apartment is spacious and is comfortable. It’s well designed and an easy stay. However there are 4 flights of steep winding stairs and it’s impossible me to carry luggage up. We left ours in the garage and took out only what we needed. The door code changed late afternoon if our first day and we couldn’t enter. We tried calling for support but it wasn’t until a neighbor came by that she shared the code was very recently changed that we were able to enter. Also the AC did not work. Great apartment, mediocre support and difficult stirs and access.

This was a wonderful location in Reims! It is in the middle of town square and is close to restaurants, shopping and the train station! This apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the three flights of stairs. Overall, the place was great and we would stay there again!

We loved this apartment! GREAT location, clean, comfortable, stylish! So good! We would definitely stay here again!
